We really love this game, and enjoy the regular updates but the game is glitchy as hell. For instance some cities we have found at the end of every day we have to restart the game but we lose nothing, it just takes longer to reset each day. Other issues are that we'll buy at the shops and we get annertor stating that there is an error and it's not in our inventory. But it shows that we have completed a task we are buying an item for. It is glitchy and sometimes gets on our nerves but overall it's a great game that while we wish they would fix the issues, they aren't enough to make us not want to play. We wish what is needed for other cities was identified someway so that we don't waste money traveling back and forth. Also in a few cities you have to earn so many coins to complete a level it seems impossible we wish different goals were establishes. It is educational and we have learned a lot culturally through this game and this is the biggest draw to the game for us.
We have noticed a real drop in the quality of this game over the past year. Its pretty glitchy, and there used to be more music, better descriptions, and varied jobs and tasks. We do enjoy the new cities, but we would like to see it go back to the way it was when it was better supported by its creators. Also, there are too many sports questions.
Ive been playing this game for years and have never had many complaints. Our only issue has been the fact that its sometimes taken a year or longer to add new cities/content and thus, Ive almost deleted it (thinking it was no longer being updated and having completed every task and all three monuments for every city). But after the update with – we believe five new cities? – lets see – Manchester, Munich, Liverpool, Vienna, and the city in Greenland, we believe? We were incredibly excited. We played for about a week and finished Manchester and Liverpool, had started on Vienna, when suddenly, the app kept saying connection lost and we needed to restart the app. If this happened even just once or twice while playing for an hour or two, it would be slightly annoying but tolerable. However, its happening after we answer just 3-4 questions (and often when we have to spend the night in a hotel to regain energy). It makes no sense because our connection is fine. Its not saying this on any other app. We even tried turning WiFi off, putting it on airplane mode- nothing worked. We cant play a game and answer 150 questions correctly if we keep getting booted out every thirty seconds. Its even worse when it gives us the connection failed message while Im in the middle of completing certain tasks in order to get rewards (like stay in a five-star hotel for 7 nights) then takes our coins, kicks us out of the app, and doesnt count it toward the goal number. The absolute worst if you had just spent a lot of tickets on a monument, only to be kicked out on the eighth question. We truly love this game and, in the past, have been happy to pay for it. But until the issue gets fixed with our supposedly poor connection, Im unable to play the game and therefore not going to get a subscription to it, since we cant make use of it. Please fix this its a 5 star game for sure, but only if you can actually play.
We have been playing for a long time and its been really fun! Its a good game, except that competitions dont really work. It works by answering questions and rising into leaderboards. But when we did that, IT NEVER COUNTED AS A QUESTION! HOW ARE YOU SUPPOSED TO RISE THE LEADERBOARDS IF YOU CANT ANSWER QUESTIONS!? We deserve our promised rewards.
Game doesnt give rewards that it is supposed to. You have the same questions over and over no matter where you are. Contacted support over missing items, read it and ignored us.
Fun, educational, and we appreciate that you can answer questions without having to spend coins each time- makes for an optimal learning experience and keeps us engaged for longer. A suggestion- it would be cool if you incorporated some pronunciations into the game, maybe in the diploma or the city questions. As a sole English speaker, we would like to know the correct pronunciation of landmarks, cities, etc. That use unfamiliar (to us) letter combos. This would also help us learn quicker. We found the names of places in Sweden, Norway, India, and Istanbul to be especially hard to pronounce and thus, remember.
Love this game, but once again we have completed all the cities. When will more be added.
You cant get your supposed free pass items because some weird paywall. Which makes them not free.
Cant get milestones achievements its completely blank. Was fine at first now its blank even though when we achieve something the page is blank. Also the stars wont appear at all. It says we have 2 in London and nothing is showing.
Fun game we have paid 2x for tickets and not there, $4.99 and 3.99.
We love this game BUT when we play the challenges with other players – diplomas and questions – the game cuts us off at 3-4 hours before the challenge ends – no matter how many questions we answer or diplomas we get – we cant seem to progress. When we check back someone has bypassed us – how is that possible- does it happen to everyone or just us? Then we dont get our rewards where we were cut off – UNFAIR.

Well, in about 2 months we finished all 69 cities! This game is fun but limited. Im not sure if we should just delete it & start all over again. Could you please add more cities? We enjoy the jobs & trivia questions& the quests. We just need more citiesor a referral to a similar game. Also, it gets tiring answering the same questions in jobs. Add more questions! This game really needs an update. Please help! Thanks.
You reach a point where you can go no further unless you start paying.
Its a fun game, and we would give it 5 stars, but the jobs are far too repetitive; theyre also too reliant on very niche knowledge of Swedish history and sports figures. Im assuming its made by a Swedish company, but if its designed for a worldwide audience, then questions about world history, authors from around the world, etc.. Would make the game much more enjoyable.
This game is for all ages. We like the random questions and have learned a thing or two along the way.

Gets stuck. Did not use for over 10days would not move. Just was. Dont understand. Sometimes we can use and other times we cant. Great fun or would have deleted already Have since began and have only three sites. Don't understand.
The game s eke like it could be fun but you have to fumble around to know what to do and your not really sure. We were asked to help someone and it took us to a different place and we wasnt done in the first place. We dont know it could be fun Ill stick with it for a little while longer.
Game freezes after minimal game play. We had to delete and reinstall twice.
The game itself is interesting, but the constant click-watch an ad repeat takes away from anything positive. We gave up on the game a few times, came back, and it just gets more ad heavy. We realize developers have to make money, but if people quit playing, you dont make anything.
Ive spent hundreds of game days in Cape Town waiting for the second messenger to return and give us a new assignment. We completed all of our tasks, including all of the extra ones. Bummer. We were really enjoying this game, but cant get past this point. Please fix this hiccup soon! We want to continue playing. Also, The Great Salt Lake is very shallow, only 33 feet at the deepest. The answer in your game says its very deep, over 600 feet. There was also a Harry Potter question about books where the answer was wrong. There are only 7 books, not 8. Also, often you dont get the key you earned during a job. Love the game. Its informative and fun. Please help us all move beyond Cape Town.
The sights cost so many ticketyet its so hard to earn tickets. Try rewarding with those more often. Cus you cant get your next adventure without doing at least 2 out of three sights. Its so ridiculous to pay for tickets and you dont even make it including no ads. Just saying that tickets need to be easier to earn. And coin rewards are so small it is hard to stay in a city and earn those when you have to even pay to sleep on the street. That should be free cus its free in real lifeseriously stupid! More ticket rewards and higher coin rewards would make the game great.
The answers are too obvious would be nice to have more of a challenge.
Whats the point of playing a trivia game that asks you a question, but gives you the answer by flashing the correct choice.
Love the game, but it crashes all the time.
This is a fun game if you like trivia. You can solve everything without having to spend real money. You may need a bit of patience but its not as bad as in some other game. The one point of improvement is to give a chance to report a question during a job or mission after the job/mission is done. We discovered a mistake with a question but only after the answer falsely got marked wrong. At that point we couldnt report the question anymore. So there needs to be some form of extended period or something after answering the question to report it. As it is atm, the new question pops up immediately, and you cant do anything. (Btw, the wrong answer was that the Harry Potter book series is divided into 8 books. Its not. Its 7 books, 8 movies. Harry Potter and the Cursed Child is primarily a screen play that was published after the fact. Its not a book thats part of the original series. At least the question should be specified if nothing else. Also, yall should take out any question about R. Kelly. The dude is a convicted pedophile.).
Great game, fun quests and questions but crashes every time you claim a reward and then frequently at other times. Looking forward to an update.
The game gives the the answer half the time. For instance itll ask which of these actors starred in wolf of Wall Street and then there will be a picture of Leonardo DiCaprio.
We like the game, but half the time it doesnt give credit for keys when we gain them answering diploma questions. Very frustrating.

The concept of this app was cute, and we would still be playing if it were not for the fact that the app kept crashing. We would be in the middle of an action and the screen would close. We would reopen the program only to find it would do the same thing. We tried uninstalling and reinstalling to see if that fixed the problem.. No luck. ( no updates either) we eventually just deleted the app entirely. We would have given a higher rating if not for this problem.
latest updated review – we are still playing this game years after downloading it and we very much appreciate that new cities are still being added. With that being said we have reached out to the developers on different platforms with questions or concerns about in app issues and have never gotten a response. We feel that for a game where people spend real, in world, money there should be much better communication with the team. If there is an issue that requires attention or a concern people spending their money should have a better way to contact the owner/developer for help. We have searched everywhere online for help and cannot find any answers to our questions. We feel the developer has enough users (and now monthly subscribers) that they should create a page with all the possible gameplay information, helpful tips and tricks, and a contact for questions. We love this game. We think it is great for trivia lovers who also like traveling. We have been playing it for a few weeks now and so far we like almost everything. We have an issue with the job thing because we were turned down for 10 out of 11 jobs we tried to get in a matter of two in game days. That seems a little ridiculous that you get turned down that much. How are you supposed to earn coins or diplomas if you keep getting turned down? We are not happy with this newest update (June) either. We saved a lot of coins (20,000) to pay to upgrade our guitar so we could earn a lot more tickets. Now there is a chance we won't get tickets in our guitar case? We never would have done that if we knew you were going to update it a week later and take our ticket earning potential away. Also, one of our favorite parts was watching the ads to earn scratch tickets and now even though the banner still says "free" there is no option to watch videos anymore and we are unable to clear the little "1" from the screen which is driving us bonkers. All in all we are happy with the game and that the developers are trying to give us new content just not happy with some of the changes.
The game seems like it would be fun if we had a way to read up on some what it is asking for. Its not fun not knowing or not having material to read about what they will ask.
We have enjoyed this game for years! It is highly educational but so fun you don't realize you're learning. Being disabled we can't travel but with backpacker game it's like virtual fun travel! It's perfect for young and old! Thank you for making this game.
We really enjoyed this game when it first came out as we love to travel and it brought back fun memories. However, we have all the cities, all five stars and nowhere else to go, everything is locked, so keep hoping for an upgrade to fix this, but its now been six months.

It didnt work. It sounded really fun, but, even though there is enough wi-fi connectivity to submit this review, there is not, apparently, enough to play the game. If you could make this game able to be played offline, any time any where, it would be 1000% better.
We used to love this game. We didnt mind having to do sone independent study for earning the monuments since you dont get any information. Lately the backpack doesnt work. We cant upgrade it and have enough money to do so. The instructions given do not work. Also, the special events dont show up on time. We lost three days on the valentine event because it didnt appear. We cant progress until our backpack is updated. What a waste. The developers do not seem helpful at all. When we contacted them they simply repeated steps we have already tried. We do not want to uninstall app and lose all our progress. Time to find something else. We tried to contact via Facebook to get help but discovered it is a private and elite group so we can add being snubbed as well.
We enjoyed playing this game and plowed through a good many countries, learning all sorts of things then the game developers decided to make recruiting other people to play the game- not just invite, but actively require the people you invite actually get hooked into playing. If you didnt do it you could not progress to other cities. They also upped the amount of coins needed to buy items to also complete the tasks required. Enough coins required that you would either have to play for days or part with quite a bit of real money (50$) a accrue the coinage necessary to progress. They lost us after that.
Great game but we are not receiving keys when we get them in the jobs.
We can log in and collect coins but then it kicks us out.
Love the game, but there is a frustrating issue. The City Tasks differ between the city overview page and the travel book. Because of this you arent awarded stars when you in fact complete some tasks.
Its a nice game the only problem is that the game dont give you the opportunity to learn about the history before quizzing you on the country you may or may not have been to.
Ive been playing this for years and like it but as of today the app will not open. We click on it, it starts to open and then automatically closes. We have tried shutting our phone on and off a few times. What can we do without losing all our progress.
Game is entertaining as the world gets traversed. But one ends up answering the same knowledge questions over and over. Their database is basically very limited. And after a few months you run out of cities. The part of meeting strangers and accomplishing tasks as a result is too simple. They ought to build in a mystery or something. There is also nothing deep to the store guy part, its just random. We think the game might appeal to pre-teens. If you arent one you will be bored after awhile.
We couldnt make it past the introduction. It kept giving us the answers and was a slow intro and we just couldnt make it past that.
It is A great game it just needs more updates you get to the end and that it it.
