Community Insight:

We get 10 like we will do full playthrough full gameplay chapter is be tomorrow.

We love these games but the last chapter was just a repeat of the second chapter.

In chapter 3 and 5 your inventory just disappe@rs. Weird and makes the games unplayable. Also 3 and 5 loaded as the same game but n9t labeled the same.

In portrait of an obsession the monster lady was covering up the room but we could click around her and then now for grandmas cakes the magazine and trap have both disappeared. And we paid for no ads.

There were small bugs we didnt care but two of them were really annoying. The first one, the ghost lady didnt go anywhere she was screaming throughout all china episode. So, we had to watch a walkthrough to solve some puzzles since lady was in that room! We couldnt get rid of her. The second one, even more annoying for us, was in the last episodes painting puzzle. We dont like that kind of puzzles and we wanted to watch ads to pass that one but guess what happened, There is no internet connection error!!! Come on, seriously!? Thanks god we figured out using VPN to watch those ads hahahah. We mean should some regions download vpn to access it? Funny. Other than everything, some of your games are definitely better than this and they have less bugs. And we would rather playing 5 different games like this one but all of their story connected to each other. Thanks for you effort, you can do better.

Im addicted to these stories so we downloaded all of them. But we played this one and got stuck in chapter 2. Game would freeze up and even the settings button wouldnt work. Hint button either. Uninstalled and reinstalling so hopefully that fixes it but we gotta start again.

Game keeps telling us No internet connection we are connected to the internet.

It went through the beginning story. We listened to all of it and then it brought us back to the main menu. We thought that was weird. We clicked play on it again and it didnt even show the story part…it just blacked out. We closed the game and opened it back up but now it is completely black and will not show the beginning of the game that has the book to choose which you want to play. Can we please get some help.

Not playable on our iPad . We did play all the forgotten hill games that we could find and we enjoyed them.

We love all your games, and this was a fun little diversion, but it took us half an hour. Id rather pay you for a longer game than have such a short game for free. Please spend your efforts on something more substantial- Im happy to pay a premium price for it. Your vision and your puzzles really are wonderful- Im just a huge fan. Please feed us more.

Lots of fun, all works well with no glitches, not too hard but still challenging…. Overall a great game. Thanks! More please.

Had a few tricky parts in there. Enjoyed it overall.

This developer has made some good games. But they are short and not as challenging as other games on the App Store for that price. Based on their prior games, Id pay maybe $2 for this new release. But $5 is steep. Especially considering there are many incredible games out there that only charge $3-5 for some amazing, challenging, fun game play: Rusty Lake, The Room, Da Vinci, The Inner World..etc. Those games are def worth the $. So, yeah… We will be waiting to see others reviews before paying that steep price.

Still worth playing. We love escape games with puzzles, but esp ones like these. As a HUGE Rusty Lake fan, we came across Forgotten Hill, when there was only the 1st in series. We were excited as it seemed they released new games fairly often. Then it seemed to fizzle out. It's been some yrs, but as we recall, puppeteer was our favorite. Idk if it was because we'd gotten into the developer's mind, as it sometimes takes with games like these, therefore, it was more enjoyable to know what to do but still be challenged. We're not sure if it's because it's just been such a long time since playing right when the last one before this was released. If it was the fact that it was so short and we knew it going in, so we kept waiting for the final puzzle with each of the two main door keys, or if it was because the puzzles were either obvious or a whaaa?, with no in between, but this was the least enjoyable. Playing on iPad, and w/o trying to give too much of a spoiler…the spikes on side wall as answer to a puzzle? Yes. Despite inability to click the wall for a frontal view, and 8 spikes were visible, the menu options going down the screen DID COVER UP the ability to determine spatially which location a few were in, because the menu obstructed the ability to find any starting point. Not a big deal, as it merely required a few trial and error clicks on that side of the actual puzzle it was used on. As has been mentioned, your games do have a bit of a Rusty Lake feel. BUT, these games do have differ in graphical style, and the puzzles and having a 'story' does mean these are worthy stand-alone's and NOT knock-offs. Some of you may have even found these games because the 'similars' showed a 'Dude who calls himself a developer' and makes near identical graphics but no reasoning or logic AT ALL, despite nearly like his dozen attempts. They're tragically impossible, with a horrible hint system. We see that you now have a hint system, n one reviewer said about watching ads (which we would go for), but then purchases on games App Store page says it's $1.99. We tried to click the "?" In the game, and aside from it blinking to show we clicked there, NOTHING HAPPENED. We tried every way we could think of. (Like to open things or move to a diff room, you have to unhighlight any objects in your inventory, or it won't respond…that's fine, but tripped us up often). We didn't see or go to any purchase screen, so we neither could watch ads for a hint nor 'buy our way out', which we WOULD NOT HAVE DONE EVEN ON THE LONGER ONES. It's great u implemented hint system and way to stop ads for those annoyed annoyed by them. Since this was so short, we won't be able to trust we get our $'s worth if we went ad free, but we wouldn't even in the longer ones we've already played. 1) cuz we managed without before, and 2) These aren't The Room or some major high graphic VERY LONG bang for your buck. We would actually skip playing your games if they went to pay ONLY, but if free (WITH ADS), while giving the CHOICE TO PAY TO REMOVE THEM, we would. The problem is, you REALLY OUGHT TO RETHINK WHICH WILL GET YOU MORE REVENUE. We WOULD NEVER PAY $2 to remove ads, n still be locked out of the hints with that payment. We won't wanna remove ads, if it don't get us access to hints, and we'd NEVER PAY $6 BUCKS TO GET HINTS AFTER $2 TO ONLY REMOVE ADS! That's more expensive than a Rusty Lake or The Room series, House of DaVinci, Eyes of Aria, or even Inner World, Machinarium, Octodad, Edna, you get us. That's not a dig at you personally. What you do is good, and we doubt it's with a big team or at least full-time for you. We're just saying you would get MANY MORE PPL TO PAY $2 if it included hints unlock WITH ad removal. $8 is expecting too much, when ppl can look on YT for hints. If the incentive w/no adds n ability to quickly get a nudge from a hint right on the spot, ppl would pay the $2. Just a consideration to pose, from someone who's not afraid to drop a few bucks on games, but will wait for sales, and will 'boycott' support, if it seems unbalanced. Ur not greedy like others have become. We think you just set the bar a little too high, maybe because you're starting to fall on the radar. We think you'd be surprised at the support you would get even as gestures of "thanks" from ppl (ppl love games with built in hints, guides, walkthroughs!!!), while you ultimately bring in more $ than ur current separate n far too costly, system does now. Hope to see another FULL LENGTH GAME SOONER THAN LATER, n in meantime, we guess we'll be replaying the older and much longer ones.

Hoping to pay for the app instead of waiting through a ton of pop up ads. Thx.

Please, if you dont know English, hire someone who does. Five star game with elementary school spelling and grammar.

Tried to open game, instead got a 30-second ad, so deleted app.
