Dive into G30

A puzzle you haven’t seen before. A story you won’t forget.

G30 is a unique and minimalistic take on the puzzle genre, where each level is hand-crafted and meaningful. It’s a story of a person with a cognitive disorder, who is trying to recollect the elusive past – before the disease takes over and everything will fade away.

KEY FEATURES

  • Each puzzle is a story. Solve the memories mystery hidden in 7 main chapters of unique and individually designed puzzles.
  • Experience a touching narrative. Live the life of a person whose memories have faded.
  • Feel the game. Atmospheric music and haptic feedback will dive you into the breathtaking story.
  • Relax and play. No scores, no timers, no “game over”.

AWARDS

  • Most Innovative Game, Casual Connect USA & Kyiv
  • Best Mobile Game, CEEGA Awards
  • Excellence in Game Design, DevGAMM
  • Best Mobile Game & Critics’ Choice, GTP Indie Cup

INNOVATIVE PUZZLES THAT ARE THE STORY

Each level sparks a little memory of the person’s life. It’s a two-part puzzle: a visual image of the memory and a telescopic text, that reveals itself with every step. You start with fragmented pieces of the picture and have to move them to restore the original image. In turn, telescopic text reacts to your every step – the closer you are to the solution, the more text unfolds. You are indeed remembering – adding details to the memory and forming a clear picture.

A DEEP AND MYSTERIOUS STORY

G30 is about memory and consciousness – and what they mean for a human being. There are people around who are losing their ability to remember – some kinds of mental diseases do that to a person. G30 shows how they see the world, how they feel about the past they can’t remember and the reality they can’t recognize.

Hear from the Players – G30 Reviews

Find out what gamers are saying about G30:

Trippy game, not your average app Effort went into this.

Pls add full support to 12 inch iPad Pro screens.

Why is this game if the day? It came out years ago. Old review: Decent puzzle game. The ending falls short because of sloppy editing. There is no exceptions shouldve been there are no exceptions. Or there is no exception. We know. Its a stupid thing to comment on. Otherwise, the game is an interesting method for raising awareness.

Can you even call this a game? You spin the design around until it matches a predetermined shape which unlocks some sort of very poetic hard to follow text story. Its incredibly repetitive. We dont get it. Little to no direction while playing makes it even more boring. What is our goal? What is the point?

This is the rare game that truly takes you into its world with all of your mind. Often, a puzzle game will claim to have an underlying plot, when in reality the plot is totally unrelated to the game and serves only as a distraction. This game is not like that. The puzzles are the plot, and they tell the story without the need for the player to ever take their mind away from the puzzle. The story itself is incredible, eschewing the traditional Western narrative structure in favor of a looping, ambient format which largely original, at least in our own experience, and which fits the tone of the game as if they were made for each other, which of course they were. The gameplay is just as incredible, playing out in multiple layers simultaneously, with levels looping back on themselves, and a perfect difficulty gradient which kept us from ever feeling as if it was either too easy or too hard. This is the needle in a haystack. This is a truly amazing game and a truly amazing journey, and we are so glad we discovered it.

Es un juego desafiante pero divertido con un final inesperado.

A unique, occasionally challenging puzzle style and aesthetic provide a slow, confusing story that resolves into something both more and less.

We struggle to describe how amazing and unique this game is. It transports you into the mind of a mentally ill person trying to make sense around them. Its hypnotic, all-consuming, an absolute gem of game design and experience youll likely never forget.

Powerful story! Really good puzzles and a great double story imbedded into it! Loved it!

Very good logical game for kids and adults.

The very game we longed for so long.

At times it becomes quite frustrating when there is no apparent answer to the puzzle. Its also extremely frustrating when its impossible to go back and fill in some of the words you missed in a previous level; we made the mistake of trying to do this and was unable to return to where we left off. We had to restart the entire game and lost our progress, which was INCREDIBLY ANNOYING. But the one thing we would beg the developers to improve about this game is the godawful grammar. For a game that relies largely on words, you really should get this part right. It reads like it was done by a non-native English speaker. Hire an editor!

Truly stunning game. The music is immersive and the puzzles are addictive. Highly recommend.

We love playing this game. Lots of fun and will buy more from this developer!

First app review but this game is weirdly witty.

How do you replicate the fractured world of someone with memory loss in puzzle form? Well, like this. Im not sure we’ve ever seen a better marriage of game mechanics and subject matter. As you work through the puzzles, watching words appear and disappear, you search for meaning; yet, as soon as you think you have grasped the story, it becomes a different story altogether. Its incredibly empathetic, and we defy anyone with a soul to not experience a sense of the frustration and anxiety of not… Quite… Knowing who you are, and whether the pieces of your memory are even real. We get that doesnt make it sound very appealing as a game, but it is, and a very positive experience overall.

The graphics are really beautiful and the story is captivating. The music is very nice as well. However, the actual puzzle part of the game is lacking in our opinion… We feel like Im just turning things randomly, hoping for more words to appear. We dont do any thinking, more just guess and check. So in regards to gameplay, Im just not that into it and we dont see myself wanting to play more. If it was free, we probably would have deleted it already but we feel committed after paying.

The game has a message at the end that really shook us. The puzzles themselves are engaging and beautiful. Youre left confused for most of the puzzles and very frustrated. Sentences keep changing as do the pictures. You cant quite remember where you left off or what turn did what… And then you finish and realize it was all supposed to be like that. We highly recommend you play it.

This game is definitely worth the 5 stars and the amount to purchase. This is more than just a puzzle, this allows one to view life from the eyes of another. Up until we figured out and solved the entire game including the secret words we didnt quite understand and felt lost and unsure. If we wasnt emphatic already for those that live this life daily, Ik that our heart has swelled more with compassion for them and hope one day this dark world will have light shed on it. Now we understand why the game is called G30 a little more. Take the time to really understand this game is more than just a game.

We love this game so much, has us hooked.

This game is amazing. The puzzles are, at first, simple and easily figured out. But as the game progresses, they get harder. It really adds to the game. The music is wonderful, and the blanks in each section made us determined to find every word until it was complete. We didnt want it to end! We loved it.

We loved the puzzles and the story. They made a perfect fit and we are still loving the memories of finally getting that tricky puzzle finished.

It might be confusing at first but slowly the story is revealed and the only way to fully see the grand theme is to find the secrets in each of the levels.

Entertaining, yet purposeful. Great work!

Im really enjoying this game but am now stuck on the time puzzle. Can anyone please help us?

Have to give credit for an original game theme. But after playing for a while it became tedious and boring on some levels and we found myself using trial and error over logic. The music is looped and maddening throughout the entire game. Now we’re stuck on the fountain and we’re giving it a rest because after we get past that we’re assuming we’ll just get stuck and frustrated on a subsequent level. Have to give props on the loops and waves and stairs very clever. Throw in a hint or something every once in a while. What we are saying is that this game changed from fun to a chore a short way in. And… Upon completing it we cannot give a poor score to a game written with such heart. Well done our friend.

Its a good game overall but very hard at times something we would suggest is a hint system and not of the cryptic sort. Right now we cannot get past the fountain level as for we have gone with the logic we used on the other levels does not work the logic we used was make the thing look like the starting word.

Downloaded the app. After the intro screen, all we get is a never ending loading screen. Tried contacting the publishers twice through App Support and still no response.

We are in awe at this game. At first we went crazy about just being able with solving the puzzle. We just cared about getting to the next level. That was until we got engaged with the storyline. We almost became obsessed with getting every single word just to make the story make sense. At the very last level we were confused, more than the game itself made us then it all just tied together it one of the best game finales we have ever seen. The music, the words, the messages between rounds, we loved it all. And when the story finally made sense, we got goosebumps. We love it and it was definitely worth every penny.

The puzzles were challenging and unlike any we’ve come across so far. The story and puzzle interface wasnt apparent at first so we had to go back and solve them correctly. We guessed the ending about 3-4 puzzles from the end but the ending was still unexpected. It took us all day. Loved it.

Im going to be honest, this game isnt for everyone. The puzzle aspect of it goes deeper than the surface and it took us a few levels to even figure out what we were doing and how we were achieving it. However, upon watching the preview, we were immediately intrigued by the story line, concept art and music. It has so many soothing aspects but our favorite is the omission of a point system. The storyline is what makes the game so addicting. It only took us 3 days to complete the entire game. We wont ruin the ending, but it was definitely worth the play and we will be recommending it to anyone who enjoys sensory based media.

This was a very engaging game that did have some more challenging puzzles throughout. Though the gameplay did feel a bit too short, considering the price. We would feel more comfortable having paid $4 and would consider recommending this game to friends if we knew that a portion of the cost was being donated to an Alzheimers research organization, rather than feeling as though the developer may be profiting off of the pain of others.

Such a profound and heartbreaking experience. The closest we can get to understanding dementia from the perspective of sufferers.

Im currently just a few puzzles in and Im hooked! So far, this game seems worth the cost! Not to easy, not too difficult! Lookin forward to updates with more content for this one! Keep up the great work!

G30 is a stunning example of interactive storytelling. The story is fixed; linear. However, the process of unlocking it is challenging enough to get the player invested in the rediscovery of the player characters lost memories. As the game progresses, the clues pile up into a poignant story, climaxing in one final confirmation of what it hinted at before. The gameplay itself is quite pleasing and tactile. Early puzzles can be solved easily by trial and error; later ones require a bit of manipulation and significant attention to detail to boot. Our only complaint is that the soundtrack becomes repetitive rather quickly, but its relatively inoffensive and shouldnt discourage anyone from picking up this gem.

Amazing little game, don’t read about it just start playing or you’re doing yourself a disservice.

Unbelievable game. Suspenseful and beautiful.

We hope youre working on the next puzzle because this one is fantastic. More, please. And thank you! It is a beautiful game.

An amazing game. It captures the confusion and disjointed yearning of both those suffering from Alzheimers themselves and those suffering with those so affected. We found myself deeply affected by it and close to tears at times. A brilliant empathy-enducing experience. It opened our heart and left us wanting more.

Great puzzles. Great story. Some puzzles felt too hard, but once everything is put together they made contextual sense.

The puzzlement of this game was excellent. No extra clues were given, yet the puzzles built up enough to make it both more challenging as you went along and also to help you understand how to solve the next puzzle. The artwork was lovely. It was sometimes more fun just to spin the spinners and see what unusual images you could create with the options. Its final hidden message was touching.

This game might not be expensive, but the process it shows is worth its weight in gold. Watching the entire story build up… The ending just crushed us. This is the type of game that doesnt take intelligence to create, it takes heart, and we have no doubt that is what the creators were using. We can honestly say we have a newfound appreciation for our life because of this game, and that is no exaggeration.

But very pleasantly so. Tones the mind a bit.

This is by far the best game mobile game we’ve played. Really unique perspective, great visuals, and smooth operation. It can be a little confusing at first, but the game is played from the perspective of a person with dementia, so the lack of concrete direction helps solidify that concept.

We mean, the game did get challenging, but we beat it in 2 days. For $4.00, we mean, its a letdown. But it was fun while it lasted.

This game is a genius way to raise awareness about a disease that no one truly understands. Very well executed. Do the proceeds of this app go toward researching a cure? If so, we would say this game was worth the price. Otherwise, its much too short to purchase for $5. We finished the entire game in two days. This is an absolutely magnificent concept supporting a meaningful cause. We hope that you add more to keep the app current and the important message on peoples minds.

We seam to be stuck, we dont know how to play.
