Love it but pls add the 84 style it was so classic.
This is an awesome retro upgrade of the arcade version! We use an iPad 10.9 when we play so its easier to navigate.
First of all, this is a very fun game and an interesting modern take on a classic. We really enjoy it. Second, Im curious if there is another fighter that will be released? We have collected everything so far, but theres one that says coming soon, so Im hoping to continue collecting if there is more to come :).
This game reminds us of the Galaga game of the 89s but with lots of fun twist and challenges.

Great game. We do think that its a little annoying that the abilities dont transfer to the clone guy while you have him but its still a great game thats a great challenge.

So Im just sitting down bored on the couch right? Well we realized that Gallagher was downloadable so we download it! Now whenever Im bored we just click on this and say why not. Moral of the story, why not.
Its classic nostalgic Galaga; revamped and just a lot of fun! The static ads get removed once you buy just one ship. Why does everything have to be free? The arcade was never free lol.
Thought to ourselves how good could Galaga be on a Mobil device or our iPad its not going to be like the old arcades we go to after school man its better the action is just like the arcade Im having a blast and its a challenge we try and play games thatll stimulate the mind help to keep it young use it or loose it we tell our kids play games thatll motivate ur mind to work this Galaga is that one for us.
The game can be repeatedly played after a lost life, once you build up extra ships. All gone? Just start over again. The only problem is the wait for new ships to be bought by credits. Ive been waiting over two years.
We downloaded this ultimate version of Galaga, and it brings back so many great memories of the original game. We love the different ship texture packs that are offered, and we especially love the intro music that comes out when first playing the game. If you love Galaga youll love this game, it has incredible level designs. Give it a try.
Im 54 used to play this game when we worked La Mirada Swap meet. We had about 4 arcade games in snack bar. This one is upgraded, love it. Recommend.
We were thinking of getting a mini galaga arcade, because its our favorite game, until we found this. THIS GAME IS AMAZING! We thought it was gonna be a completely different type of game, but no. Its classic galaga, but better. More ships, areas, difficultys, just an all around better and fun game, right in our pocket. This truly is galaga but better.
Easy to play and a bit addictive. The graphics are hard to make out sometimes because of the busy background, but that doesnt reduce our rating any.
Whats not to love. This is one of the few mobile games that Ill play daily, its fun and challenging the further you get. A variety of ships from different games and each with different abilities that you can use in game coins to enhance, adding to the replay-abilty with different play styles. This is also one of the only mobile games that Ive spent money on in the last 5 or so years. $2.99 to remove static ads and double the coins value you receive, totally worth it. We also enjoy being able to hunt down the credits throughout the stages, you can either spend real money on different ships or be patient and save up your credits to get them that way. And while the gameplay is definitely great, we need to gush a bit about how great the models are for the ships and enemies. The team behind this game took great care to craft everything on screen and while still cartoony, this is one of the best looking mobile games Ive ever played. Highly recommend, especially if you loved old school Galaga :).

THIS GAME REMAKE IS AMAZING!! BRAVO NAMCO BRAVO Although can you just add a replay button so that way we would not have to go back to the Home Screen and then start over that would have time for us ^^ amazing remake, well done.
This game is amazing. Please continue to update the game and add more stuff to it. Add more sectors, different galaxies, different creatures/bosses and add more ships. Be creative when making the ship dont just reuse other ships abilities or change the ability visuals to make it look different having the ability basically the same.
When is new ship coming? Game says coming soon! Waited over year now.
This game is so addictive !! It's very entertainment we recommend it Also we would like to ask the developer to improve it more with more enemies like fantastic dragons and aliens and the choice to choose the weapon to attack !! To the complaining little girls about the commercials : It's very easy not to have to see them, just turn off the wifi and play.
Its a really good game but could you make the boss less challenging to beat? Anyway this game is so awesome. Okay the end :).
This game is Frankenstein awesome stuff.
A great update of an 80s arcade classic. Its a very enjoyable game that had kept us entertained for hours and hours. Love the different levels and especially the never ending last level. Ive been playing it for about a year. At this point we only play it about once a day. You dont technically have to make any purchases to enjoy this game, but we would suggest the coin doubler. We do hope they eventually add more ships as we have nothing to spend our coins on anymore. Just recently got a new high score of 20,692,358 which is why we only play it once a day. It can be quite time consuming once you get the hang of it.
We have this to say about Galaga Wars… Fun gameplay. Improves a lot from the old games. Even adds new elements like the Jumbo Shot and Missile Barrage power pickups. This is most fefinitely a treat for Galaga and Galaxian fans. Originally we said our one complaint was the ads. Well for everyone, let us enlighten you all… Buy the Galaga 88 Fighter. Its $3.99, and it REMOVES all STATIC ADS. All those random ads you see pop up when youre in the main menu? Gone! Youll still have the option to watch ads for free warping and for the occasional extra 100 coins & 3 warp capsules. But all the random ads will be gone, and all you have to do is buy that one ship. Let us repeat… Buy the GALAGA 88 Fighter. Its the only ship you need to actually buy with money, the rest you can get via the in-game credits. And to us, that $3.99 is worth not having all those random ads popping up to distract you. So as of now, this game gets five stars from the Dark Lord. We love this game as a LONG time fan of the original Galaga. Its so good to see a new type of Galaga game.
We plan on getting the highest score in the world after unlocking all ships and upgrading them to the max.
We love this game and it is so awesome.
Yes this is pretty fun. The game is well performed good graphics cool and epic bosses too! But there is one enemy that goes for the unfair side. That is the pink jellyfish. It blows up and its totally impossible to get rid of it! If it blows up the ship dies! And it appears in sector 4 on the boss. So pls can you remove this enemy? ITS SO ANNOYING that this goes on the top 10 worst unfair enimies.

This is great! We this when we were a kid. Spent plenty of $$s on the arcade version at the pick up corner store. The developers on this version kicked it up . We bought all the, which was very inexpensive. If you from the old school you'll it. And if you new to it you'll enjoy it. We give this a.
At first we were greatly disappointed withwhat they had turned our childhood favorite into. But, as we spent moretime playing it, we actually became more engaged and grew to enjoy this version for what it really was: a new game.

This game could entertain us for hours despite a simple concept. Every play-through we always push for a higher score and the upgrades will keep you grinding for plenty of time. The only reason this is 4s and not 5 is due to the fact there is not a purchase we can make to disable ads. We would pay good money to get rid of them and be able to more seamlessly enjoy a game we love with no interruptions.
Its a fun game but it never gets updated and it says new ships coming soon but nope. Its been months, please add something, anything please.

This game would be so much better if there were no ads every 3 seconds. We would like the ability to make an in-app purchase of having no ads.
This is kinda fun. Sure it may be hard at first but once you get used to the controls this can be a good boredom buster.
The reason we gave it four out of five is because the ads nobody likes ads theyre the worst.
Control is a little wonky at first, but once you master it this game is a great way to kill time.
We love this game! We have been a galaga fan since 4th grade and this about tops off all the rip off ones! We have a problem with it tho. Why must we get one spinny thingy for each sector? Shouldnt we get two of those since we get 2 chances to revive a ship in each sector? It would make getting the other ships faster for free instead of grinding for almost a month to get one ship. Thats all we have, but over all the game is still good. Hopefully we never delete it.
We love the game! We love our ships! We love everything but, l wish every sector had those helicopter things all the time. But we like the game.
We first started playing in the arcades when we were young. We are over 70 years old now and the new version is far and away the best yet. The game is close to perfect and it makes us feel young again. It also keeps us focused and motivated and we love to beat the young players and see their jaws drop when we do.
We have this in Apple Arcade and have enjoyed it but there are only 11 levels and a set amount of ships.. By the time they released the Cosmic Challenge to earn power ups we had already maxed out every ship. There havent been any updates with new ships or levels so the game has become repetitive.
The game is fast moving and fun, but whenever we watch an ad, the audio for the game kicks out. The audio for the commercial is okay, but when it returns to the game, there is none. This doesnt happen every time, but it does happen about 75% of the time. Also, about 50% of the time we get a server error, and any bonus we would have received for watching an ad is not available. This happens on our iPhone 11 Pro Max and our iPad Pro 12.9 inch. Both devices have the latest iOs.
Our only recommendation would be to give uses the ability to try the other ships in a free level. Youd probably increase purchases of new ships as all it takes is buying one that a user hates and why would they bother buying another one and risking it!?! Just our 2-cents.
The game is fun, and we now have all the ships. But you have to wonder why the game asks for permission to paste your clipboard, when it isnt needed for any legitimate reason.
We knock a star off because we have all the ships, and their upgrades, and nothing to spend our money and credits on. It says new ship coming soon, but its been 2 years since a game update. Also this version is harder (enemies are faster) than the Apple Arcade version. Especially the bosses.
