It is in balance of hard and normal. It is harder than the first two. The reason why it is harder is because it is more realistic which we LOVE! That must have been the reason why they put an easy mode…. We dont often encounter bugs so idk why people hating on that. This game is complex and fun. Worth the money if you love hard tycoons.
This game is awesome. We cant wait to see fourth game! But the ratings inside the game are super weird. Please fix them so we can get million easy.

This game is addicting if you enjoy Tycoon games. We love it, always play it in our down time. We really Hope there are more updates to come and/or expansion updates. Because as good as it is there can always be more. Unfortunately lately we realized that after we get far in the game it crashes and doesnt leave off where we were in progress even with auto saves. So there is that, gotta save like every 2 minutes… But other then that needing an update, the game is amazing would definitely recommend.
There is one problem with this game we should get more money every time we go a lot of money below 0.
It is fantastic game, with a lot of detail, great graphics (especially for a mobile game) and a lot of creative freedom for the player. We only have two issues. 1: When you first start, the UI is confusing, even with the tutorial… 2: Every time we leave the game, and join back, All our sequels disappear. We have to click the sequel button hundreds of times to get all them back to re-appear. Of those were fixed, or even just the sequel bug, we would bring up the stars to 4.
This game is a lot of fun. We’ve played the other major game dev games like the ones from Kairosoft and Greenheart Games. There are some aspects of this that are great, like the size and multiple teams. Its a completely enjoyable game to play. But… There are a few things that the other games do better. Having access to all genres and game types from the get go is nice, but not being able to see what combinations are best makes innovation nearly impossible, and without any benefit. Theres nothing to be gained by experimenting with different combinations of type, genre, platform, age group, etc. Because it doesnt save what youve learned so far. The two other games above have a system to learn from the games youve made so that you can see what combinations work best and improve in the future. Theres seemingly no rhyme or reason to why games succeed or fail, and its impossible to figure it out. The only option is to look for guides and lists that have recommendations for good combinations and just repeat the same dozen that we know work. Innovation is integral in the game development industry, and this has none of that.
We ran out of money because we dont have enough people and money please give some money or tips its really hard to get another area so please give us some mooooooney.
We really like this game!! BUT it just keeps crashing and it wont save our progress. We have had to retrain at least 3 times now! Please fix!
The game seems impossible to win. Things are skewed so extreme in favor of the computer. These reviews cant be real, no matter what we tried, we always ended up losing. Maybe if they used a better algorithm? We really wanted to like this game, and it could be a wonderful game with a more balanced AI.
Not worth the price, imo. The game has crashed on us numerous times, wiping out progress made. It becomes a bit shallow and repetitive once you turn a positive cash flow.
The sliders dont work for creating a new engine. We wont be able to properly progress through the game without this function. It also does not let us use sliders in the console builder. Please fix or advise and we will change to 5 star.
Not optimized for iPhone 11 we guess? Cant hardly play the game because of cutoff from full screen.
The game seems to be too big for our iPhone xs generally, resulting in buttons we can’t fully see. The game does not account for the notch either.
This game is horribly optimized with horrible graphics even for a 2020 updated mobile game, let alone, a $5 2020 updated mobile game. Has horrible UI, gameplay, and replay ability. Do NOT waste $5 on this game, you’re better off buying a footlong at subway..
The game doesnt even fit the iPhone 11 screen. It was very buggy and would crash sometimes.

Hello Developer, we have been struggling on the first time we played. We got bankrupt about 20min. We tried loans and about everything. Can you make this a little more easier plz?
It’s an amazing game but we think whenever everyone plays they get in the negatives and we once made 3.3 mil off of one of our games and we never got the money pls patch this and we will randomly lose 200k please either change or patch this.
We really love this game. We tried out the free version first and loved it so we bought the full version. Although we like it, the price is kind of big for this game.

Alright so the name of the game is to make a game for the least amount of money you can and make the biggest profit. We’re about to hit 20,000,000,000 we’re squandering the competition. Also this game has an auto-save so when our phone died when we were playing it we were literally terrified because we didn’t hit save but it put us almost exactly where we were. Very Cool and Very fun game. Our one thing: Why is there a cap on the amount of Units? GREAT GAME!
This game is great we wish there was more for you to do. Hopefully there will be a new game with more options and choices.
We love this game and the games before this. There is, however, one small tweak we wish could happen. We wish there was a sandbox mode that could let people have fun making games without consequences. That is all. Until this happens, we stand by our 4 stars.
So it’s a neat game and we’re hailing some fun with it but for some reason the sliders to make a game engine just refuse to move so we’re stuck with making a crappy engine every time. We’re still kinda early on so unless there’s an upgrade idk about that we need to get, it’s kinda broke.
It took our money without us knowing it.
Since this one doesn’t have game breaking bugs like the last two we’ll give it 2 stars. However, the only reason it doesn’t have these problems is because they simplified the game so this wouldn’t happen. Here is our ultimate game guide. For every 5 years up your advertisement, tech level, and number of employees by 1/10th of the total. So 5 employees, $33k of advertising and level 2 tech by year 5. 10 employees, $66k of advertising and level 3 tech by year 10. Game has no depth and no real strategy. Just bland and easy.
We love these types of games, they rarely come out by other devs especially on mobile, this dev know what they are doing and we are looking towards a new game like Food Tyccon 2! Great job!
This is one of the best games we’ve ever played.
In the pause menu there is a tip that essentially wins the game. Not hard to figure out but we won’t divulge the trick on here.
Not sure why other reviews complain. The game is not unfairly hard. You just have to think. Only issue is that the UI is a bit janky. Certifying your entire staff gets very tedious. Only feature request is to show announcements on new systems coming out and being announced.
It’s fun and all but, the game is hard. Making money is hard. Every time we play we get in the negatives. Other than that the game is super fun.
Not as in depth as we wanted it to be, we’ve played countless hours of Game Dev Tycoon on PC and this holds us over when we’re not playing that.
Fun and challenging game. Takes a little bit to get used to it but fun otherwise. Needs some work on overall UI.
This was pretty cool for us because game development is our dream job however the game is way to hard when you first start even on the eases difficulty but other then that we highly recamend this game if your like us and plan on doing this in the future.
Every time we play we go in the negatives and it’s super hard to make money but otherwise a fun game also wen the judges rate ur game it’s super hard to get something they like which leads to less profit from ur games which again makes the game even harder.
This game has tons of content and actually takes a good amount of skill to get good at and teaches you about some difficult financial decisions for any future and current entrepreneurs.

There are things that can be improved in this game and we think it is not worth 5$, it should be about 3$
Fun game but a few irritating bugs killed it for us just as we were really getting into it. One bug doesn’t save the name of your new game you create so your games end up being called Game 1611 or Game 2521. Another bug we encountered doesn’t allow us to load our game and the game freezes when we hit "load game." A few updates and we might give this one another try.
This game is definitely a step up from the original in terms of graphics and gameplay but it lacks genres and none of the games you make sell more then they cost even on easy mode the developers need to fix this because we’re sure our company will go bankrupt on 5th year.
Overall, it’s a fun and great game, the only downside we see is that they need a tutorial on how to be successful and how to make a lot of $, maybe a YouTube video to show you… Other than that it’s awesome.

We love tycoon game and gst is decent. We like the flexibility on game combinations. Console, handheld and mobile types are not selectable though. There aren’t any special event or goal besides making games. It is very easy to get boring. There are a few bugs. 1. After finishing the first50yrs, we were told to own those console and engine but we don’t see anything when we create a new game 2. Our game crashes every time we try to load a save after finishing the first 50yrs of game 3. Certification is insanely hard to get, we are wondering if there are function if we got those certification.
