We keep experiencing a game breaking bug that forces a crash every time Im grinding after the first arena. Shortly into the second arena, between day 40 and day 62, when loading into town, our character model spawns above the platform, drops there, dies and the game promptly crashes.
We were about to beat the game but every time we go to log back in our character dies of hunger, we get revived because of our amulet and immediately crash over and over. Our only option is to either start from scratch or stop playing completely.
Very fun, you know. Watch big number go bigger. And be a gladiator.
This has been our favorite game throughout our childhood & thatll never change but id be glad to see if the devs change the glitch where it kicks us out of the game whenever we sleep on day 1 of a new game & the game restarts when we drink the power potion.
Every time we load up our save file, our level 27 mage is in the market area and he makes a hurt sound even though we easily won the prior fight. It lasts a fraction of a second and the whole app crashes. No progress can be made. We tried clicking inventory, shops anything before it crashes, but its not possible. We were really enjoying it too :( But tbh, this is one of the best apps. We love turned based rpgs and this is challenging in the best way.
All around a great game we love playing it only thing is there is a bug right now that doesnt let you battle the 4th gladiator in the 1st arena making it impossible to progress in the game.
This is an amazing game that we have no problem with in any way. You guys nailed it first try. But we cant fight the fourth guy in the first tier. We click it and nothing happens, ever.
This game is amazing we've played and beaten a countless amount of times every time we beat the final boss we restart and it never gets old Ive been playing it for years but now Im not able to do that because when we play in the first arena when we get to the 4th fighter we are unable to load in the game we keep clicking on him but nothing happens and we even went on another device and it still has the same issue so now Im barely able to play the game.
Really like this game. We played it a few years ago and we enjoyed it. We were eventually bored and redownloaded it. For some reason we cant fight gladiator 3 in arena 1. Whenever we click it nothing happens. We hope you can fix the bug or tell us what to do.
Every time we get to the 4 gladiator fight it wont let us play the fight its really annoying because this was our favorite game until it started doing this Ive tried deleting and reinstalling but nothing works we really hope this issue gets resolved so we can play it again oh and if it matters we play on an iPhone 13 Pro Max so maybe it still works for other devices idk.
There seems to be a glitch where when just starting after the third enemy in the first arena the game becomes completely unplayable to where you cannot fight anymore enemies and cannot progress. Please fix this problem as we would like to be able to actual play the game.
Every time we get to the fourth fighter (1st phase!) the game bugs and doesnt let us progress or fight gladiators. Attempting to use scroll of discovery does not fix the issue and makes any gladiator discovered also not fightable. Never happened before would be cool to play this again Ive enjoyed it for about a year now so its new issue and the pattern is consistent.
Love the game but recently it wont let us attack the 4 person we have created new characters and restarted the game still doesnt work pls fix.
We loved the game on android but we switched over to iOS and it wont let us do the fourth fight Ill just keep clicking and it doesnt do anything Ive tried making a new character and deleting and reinstalling.
Ive been playing this game for years on android and we love it. But when we downloaded it recently on iPhone Ive found that during each game we cannot proceed past the third battle in chapter one. We tap the fourth battle and nothing happens. We have had this problem happen on every single run since downloading the game so Ive never even been able to get to the first boss fight. Even after uninstalling and reinstalling the game it still persists. Why, why cannot we play this fun game.
After we complete a few levels it just doesn't allow us to battle anymore and if the developers would please fix this bug we will give five star review but until then our review is three star.
We cant seem to fight other gladiators after the third one we defeat? So we are just stunted and unable to progress.
After beating the 3rd level on the first arena it wont let us do any fights after that its a real pain and doesnt let us progress.

When we press on the 4th enemy in chapter 1 nothing happens. Cant play the game.
We'd like to write a more comprehensive review, but the game quite literally doesn't allow you to progress past the fourth fight. We assume it's some weird coding bug, where the fight is inaccessible… Even though it shows as available. Beside that, it earns 2/5 stars for everything else. When you rest you refill health/stam/mana, as well as get exp and gold and gear due to a fight with a random enemy matching your level. Three classes to choose from (fighter/rogue/maga) which all three seem fun. Couldn't play to much to get a full feel due to the game breaking bug. Hopefully it gets fixed. Reminded us of some childhood favorites from Kongregate. Rip to that website.
After fighting in the arena 3 times, it wont let us fight anymore even after we tried everything including talking to everyone and resting.
We got to the 4th guy to fight and it wouldnt even let us click on him. Anything we tried wouldnt work and we couldnt get past level 4. We even starts completely over and ran into the same problem. It would be a great game if it only worked properly. Please get that fixed, or if Im just doing something wrong, help us out.

Was a fun game but cant play past the 3rd fight because of bugs and theres no way around it.
Found some other people who can not proceed past 4th opponent. We even purchased the remove ads. Complete waste of time and money.
Very enjoyable concept, but you could hardly call this a game. You CANNOT pass the 3rd stage. Not because of difficulty, but due too a neglectful development team that has ignored their community for months. After the most recent update (4 months ago for bug fixes and iOS 14,) a bug appeared that prevents you from accessing the 4th opponent and makes this game completely unplayable. Gladiator Rising Demo is what this should be called. Many people have voiced their concerns, and no action has been taken. We strongly discourage anyone from downloading and wasting their time. We would say try out the 2nd Gladiator Rising, but it is just as buggy and neglected. We DO NOT RECOMMEND UNTILL FIXED.
Seriously? What sad excuse of a game is this? Its impossible to enter a battle with the 4th opponent in the 1st arena, thereby preventing you from ever progressing. We never make reviews, but we feel like this is needed to bring attention to the developers of what they need to fix.
Cannot progress passed 3rd enemy.
We started playing but after the first 3 gladiators it wouldnt allow us to select the 4th. We just kept sleeping and tapping on everything trying to figure out what we were supposed to do until we starved to death. We dont know what we were missing the game just stopped allowing us to fight new gladiators. We are on an iPhone 13 and just downloaded this game. What a disappointment, we were having fun.
We can fight three people then the game soft locks and we can only sleep. Then it hits us with ads.
We first found this game in 2018 and it was fantastic. Ive been playing for the last few years and theres a specific bug on the 3 or 4th boss that literally wont let you move forward because you cant even choose them. Devs please try and fix the bugs. That being said we dont think they will anytime soon since the last patch was almost a year ago.

Theres a bug that prevents you from selecting a opponent after a certain number of fights. Until fixed we wouldnt waste your time as theres no way to progress once it happens.
Cant continue the game after beating the third guy in chapter one. When you click the fourth guy nothing happens, no matter how many times you click.
For some reason we cant fight the fourth one in the first roster please try to fix this.
Awesome game if you like gladiators.
Game looked underwhelming initially, due to graphics, but after playing a few battles you really start to like the game. It has great value overall.
At first glance we were underwhelmed, but currently ive beaten this game at least 5 times and it has completely grown on us. Its clich to say, but honestly this game has so much charm.. And even though we couldnt recommend it to most people, we absolutely love it.. We dunno if its just all the cartoon references, casual sense of humor, or the simple yet slightly cryptic mechanics.. But at this point, we dont think Ill ever delete this app from our phone. Thanks so much for creating this :) | | | | \/ p.s. After you beat this game, you can keep going but eventually you will slowly die from running out of food, or armor&weapon repair… If only we could continue buying these items from the shop, the endgame could go on until you lose a battle.. Instead of starving to death with a thousand dollars in the bank :p not complaining.. Just pointing it out, anyways thanks again for the great game !! Ill be playing part 2.
We were thinking that you should be able to play as one of bosses.If you beat crixus 10 times then you should be able to play as him.
The gameplay seems very good and the script makes us chuckle from time to time and the gameplay is very balanced. We love it.
It is actually a really good game.
Great game, only issue Ive encountered is the ad chests are buggy, itll either crash out of the game and mess with our health or wont give us the reward.
To tell you the truth. This was one of the most basic concepts they just did it so well. Reminds us of another pixel game we play but this is a bit more intriguing.
One of the guy on the stands said hear wrong. Game is unplayable.
We really enjoyed playing. We are glad that you have done your best, and made the game really a challenge and we do have to say we LOVE THE CHALLENGE. Now we dont say that much because there are so little games that are frustrating and fun at the same time. Look there are so many words that could explain this game. But you will have to play the game to experience the real challenge.
