Use logic to clear tiles while avoiding mines. Choose from tiny one minute globes to colossal hour long marathons. With hexagonal, square and triangle game modes this unforgiving puzzle game will keep you coming back for more.
Globesweeper is a twist on the classic minesweeper game. Use the numbers to work out all the tiles that are safe to reveal but be careful one mistake revealing a mine will cause the whole globe to detonate and you will have to start again!
With hexagon, triangle and classic square game modes, 5 different globe sizes and 4 difficulty settings you can be playing on anything from tiny hexagonal globes made of 92 tiles to colossal triangle globes with 20,480 tiles.
Play in traditional or guaranteed solvable mode where you never have to guess.

Update: we used to say the game could use some more polish, but we’ve been completely happy after the past few updates. Thanks! Original review we’ve thoroughly enjoyed this so far. We agree it could use a little more polish, but its good enough that Im hoping therell be some variations on this in the future.
We highly enjoy this game. We are about 25% through a large triangle globe right now. There are some good strategies for solving them, and it takes patience. Our only complaint is when we start Globesweeper, it pauses Spotify. This didnt happen on Android, but does on iOS. Other music apps dont pause (see mubert). Stay awesome!
Play this for hours and like many of the earlier updates and features. Just replaced iPhone with one having the notch which blocks the stats. A reviewer noted this about a year ago but no update at this time. Also, in the huge setting a few times one has to guess as there is no mathematical option. Still a great game.
Honestly, the game is really good, but the fact that you cant tap next to a flagged area to uncover the 100% not bomb squares make the experience 4 times worse. Game takes too long to complete that, but an easy fix could be made to solve that.
No updates in 11 months. :/ we cant even buy the defusers anymore. Great game tho.. Until you slip and dont have a defuser.
Overall we like this game, it is fun and just slightly addictive. The problem we have with it is that if we put it to sleep the next time we start up it randomly taps a space and uncovers it. This means that more often than not it explodes. This seems like bug to us. We certainly hope it was not intentional because when you play the huge globe with triangles, you just cant run the entire globe in one sitting. We will say that we did not notice this problem in the smaller globe games.
We like this puzzle game, but now we cannot eliminate the adds. We already paid for the non-ads version, but the buttons dont workplease fix this bug.
Im a die hard minesweeper fan. We also have the PC version of globe sweeper on steam, which is fantastic in our opinion. This mobile version however, is slightly lacking. In all honesty we enjoyed our first time playing but we set our phone down to go grab a bottle of water and when we came back all of the mines on the map had spontaneously blew up without our pressing on the screen. Very irritating when youre completing colossal sized maps. We think if our bombs just didnt spontaneously blow up, itd be a higher rating.
After about 5 seconds of being in the game, it would crash. We tried multiple times and it still crashed every time.
We just finished the Colossal sphere level and we’ve covered the entire map yet the game doesnt show if we’ve finished the level or if we’ve missed a hole or ours. The ours counter says 0000. So we must be done right?? Have we made a mistake somewhere, but the colossal map is so huge there is no way to check where the mistake was made. And after spending so much money just on the upgrades so that we could diffuse a bomb. NO way. Dont spend any money on upgrades. Dont spend any money on this game period. The large levels are totally unsolvable without having to spend money on upgrades and even then, when your bomb counter is 0000, nothing happens. Dont buy.
Played a colossal classic insane-density globe. Found all mines, timer kept ticking. No win condition, feels bad after playing this map for weeks.
Overall, we very much like the game, but where is the Guaranteed Solvable mode that we’ve heard is available on the Steam version??? Update: With the addition of Guaranteed Solvable, we can now confidently update our rating to 5 stars. Thanks Incandescent Games!!!
Overall, we love the game. We like the variation on the standard game and the 3D shapes and smoothness of it all is very satisfying. However, our only complaint is that it is very easy to click on tiles when scrolling around, especially on colossal. This is pretty big on colossal since your 40 minute run could go to waste with a little misstap. Fix this and it will be 5 stars.
We agree this is a cool new take on Minesweeper. But on the Mac app, there is a mode of the game called guaranteed solvable, in which you dont have to resort to just guessing. Please do that on the iOS app version as well, and we will improve our rating here. Thanks!
Works pretty well but needs to be adjusted for the iPhone X, the speaker cutout covers up the in-game menu.
