We have played many "find an item" games but this one is really one of our favs. It has so many extra rooms to explore and easy ways to accumulate hints.
We’ve played many other hidden object games, but few if any meet the fun of this one. The graphics are quite good. When another player plays a round , the hidden objects change. So you can play over and over. Money well spent.
Fabulous game. Love it! Very challenging and fun. Beautiful artwork. Gives us time to play game. Don’t have to feel rushed.
We’ve never given a review, just stars and not very often. This game is hands down our favorite hidden object game ever. There are so many h.o. Games that are simply objects splattered all over. Theres nothing hidden about them. This game is a great mix of kinda easy with a little hard. Not so hard its frustrating though. You collect coins and hints in a friendly, fun way and you can actually use what you collect. Our only wish is for more, more, more. If other h.o. Games took a clue from this one, theyd be more successful!
Fun as well as relaxing with no time limit on main game. No occult garbage or other inappropriate images etc that might be bad for kids if they are using your iPad and decide to try your game. Great sound track. Never get tired of it. So always keep it on our favorites game page on our iPad. Has mini games.
Got stuck in the boudoir of the saloon. Only one tool left to use, know where to use it, but it won’t interact with the object. Totally stuck! Great game until this point.
After playing three times, can’t get past "square" even with full "check marks" on other four locations! Tried different areas in other attempts. Potential is good but there is a major problem!!! Added later: we guess the problem was we did not wave the tool over the correct site. Will now rate 4 stars!
This game is a lot of fun and good story line and art work is fantastic. Our problem is after we play the game a few times it stops working. The voice doesnt work, the sound effect stop working. We have to reboot our IPad for the game to work properly again. Our IPad has been updated and we are wondering if the game is still compatible with our IPad?

This is an entertaining game. Lots to find, good graphics, no hangups. It provides several hours of entertainment without having to buy more "energy" or other gimmicks to bleed money out of you to play. For fans of Hidden Object games this is a good one.
This game keeps your attention and makes you focus. It would be great for our buddy with ADHD. He could use it to learn to focus better and in the process enjoy himself. We recommend it to everyone regardless of age.
All we can say about this outstanding game is that we sure am glad we saw it was offered for free yesterday AFTER our homework was done! Totally addicting, well-scripted, hidden objects like they should be! There is one ‘glitch’: in Episode 2, Location Basement; the barrel easy to see but every time we tapped on it, it never registered until the little dudes took a bunch of our points. This happened three separate times. Outside of this one annoying glitch, everything else went seamlessly. Lots of fun, great programming.
We play a lot of hidden object and puzzle games, and we really enjoyed this one! We felt a purpose to finding objects since it involves looking for clues. You often have to find objects in one scene to uncover a clue in another scene. Once you complete a location, you get to look at a short scene about some of the characters you’re investigation. This game kept our interest and the artwork is lovely :) Definitely worth buying!

Great hidden object game. Items are hidden well without being too "in the dark," but not so easy we’re flying through them. This is an entertaining game!

We love this game, it is definitely our favorite. The storyline is fun and the graphics are great! We like that the hidden objects change each time you play. We never get tired of playing this game, we’ve played several times and enjoy it every time we play. We even enjoy the music, which is rare for many of the games. We appreciate that it doesn’t have a dark or horror theme like other hidden object games. We long for and would love to see a sequel to this game; Golden Trails II: a new crime for Jack to solve. Thank you for all the hard work that went into making this such an enjoyable game! Great job! It is well worth the cost to purchase it.

Played 20 times already, and the second one too. Wish there were more of the same kind…. Plz plz make more.
This is our third time play…… Trying to improve each time. Didn’t know we had to listen to all of the sheriffs conversation in order to get a badge so we’re trying to do that now. Almost found all of the stolen items so we’re also trying to find all of those, we’ll keep trying until we find all of them.
We were lucky enough to get for free. Its not too easy, but not so hard that you want to just quit. We like that it has a story line, helps make it more interestkng. We like that you can play unlimited. We also like the little extras, like finding sheriff badges in each scene.
We play object search games all the time and we love these games! You gather objects from one setting to use in others, there are secret objects hidden in boxes, drawers, great graphics, fun story lines and characters. It is a wonderful way to spend your downtime!

This is a great game. Like the fact that each game is different when looking for hidden objects. Like games that tell a story and this is a good one. The scenes are well colored and very clear. There is just one scene where we can’t find all of the sheriff’s badge, but we keep playing and keep looking.
We really this hidden object game, because of the unlimited mode. The game itself is fun and keeps you guessing who dunit.

This game was so much fun! We wish it would have been longer. We will now download Golden Trails 2. We loved the interaction with the game. Fun to find objects,find stars and shoot the bad guys who keep popping into the scene. Way to go Awem studios. We still love your "letters from nowhere" series. We have replayed them several times. Nothing so frustrating as completing a game and not being able to get to the bonus content, grrrr. Aside from that, well done graphics and fun story line. Zoom would be nice for us older eyes. Would be nice to know just how many badges are hidden in each scene and be able to have one last chance to look for them before the scene "closes" after all objects are found. Nicely lit scenes, very little repetition of objects. InitialIy we looked at the instructions but didn’t have any idea to search for stolen objects, that would have been nice to know before we played the game. The last thing is that the extra hidden, hidden items need a little more time before the highlighting of the object starts flashing. We would rather figure out on our own to use the knife to slice open a pillow before the pillow starts flashing at us. All said, good game, fun to play and value in terms of length of play. Definitely worth the money, give it a shot.

Our third time deleting and reloading this game, as it froze at the Austin level. There is no back button. Other than that, it’s fun even if the hints are far between. We can’t see the hints that only flicker. It has previously frozen at other levels and there’s no way to continue on playing it. If not for that and the scarcity of hints we would have rated it 5 stars.
We were just about to finish the game, we were on the last town and we decided to go to the main menu and sound options but just because we went to the main menu, it completely erased our entire game progress even when our profile name was STILL there. Now when we try to continue the game it wants to start from 0 ALL BECAUSE we went to the main menu? That is definitely a really bad glitch. We’re not happy that our entire game got erased JUST BECAUSE we went to the main menu. It was all gone in less than a second without us doing anything. The only thing we did was go to the main menu & click on the sound option and when we came back, MY ENTIRE PROGRESS was gone. Other than that really bad glitch, the game is well made and we liked the music and graphics and voice narration. It’s frustrating that our entire game progress got deleted in the blink of an eye without us doing anything besides going to the sound option in the main menu, our profile was still there even! It’s very frustrating but the game itself is good.
Good game, would give it more stars if were possible to get to secret mission. Make sure you find all stars before moving on to next destination.
We will never rate a game without the ability to enlarge the HO scene. Just too hard for our old eyes to see.
