The game was a very tender. Even if our own views dont agree with the characters, we cannot deny that the creator of the game, recognizes very well the desire to escape in a trapped and sometimes forbidden love. It was sweet, not a game for everyone though.
This game is so cool. The story the details everything. But starting yesterday, the game started kicking us out. We deleted like almost every app on our iPad and it still doesnt work. Btw our iPad is brand new…
As we started this game, it felt kind of creepy. All throughout our exploration of the house we felt on edge, but it pulled us into the game. We were glad to find out that her parents and sister hadnt actually gone missing. The love story between Sam and Lonnie was sweet and wonderful. Their storyline was a lovely surprise. This game was definitely worth the price!
So we were scared and getting weird vibes about the house and was bored until we got to the part where they think there is a ghost in the house so we grabbed Stegner and hid in the parents room closet we still dont understand the full game but its still good we like the details its just we want to know WHY the grandpa or whatever his role in the family is turned psycho.
We have 3 versions of this game first bought off steam back in 2013! We have the console edition and now the mobile app version we love speed running this game!

Wow. This game is so enjoyable. We intended to take a break & play it over a couple days but we just kept going until the end. Another top-tier storytelling game from them. Florence is a tear-jerker. This is more sentimental, even if it starts off kind of scary.
This game is absolutely amazing it was really fun a suspenseful the graphics were pretty good too. We would recommend this game if you ever bored or looking for a adventure. Dont read further If you havent finished the game the end was a little weird but good when we were in the attic we were expecting to know what happend to her family and Oscar but we were left with a hangcliffer if they made another game we would most definitely download it to see what happens and to see what Katie would do. After finishing the game we are glad to say that overall this game was amazing.
This is the best horror/love story game we have ever played. It creeped us out, but once we got to see what the real meaning of it was, it was actually kind of heart-warming. We loved this game! We hope you can create more of these games maybe later in the future! We hope you respond to this, too. We wanna see what youll say about it. Im only 10, and this was by far, one of the best games we have ever played ever since we got our phone a few years ago! We honestly think this was worth $5 dollars! At least we didnt have to pay any more money for it. Thats all we have to say for now, bye!!
We can’t believe it took us so long to find this gem of a game. It’s all our favorite aspects of play with none of the detractors. There’s a big creepy house to explore, no worries that anything is going to attack or startle you, the calming/meditative sounds of a rainstorm, and an intriguing story that unfolds along the way. Off to look for more from these developers!
The only issue we had with it is that it was so short. It was so worth it, we just wish there were MORE. Like, a second part for Kate to go find her. We loved this game so much.
Amazing make a sequel!! And just one thing tho next Time make it so it does not make our iPad fry and eat our battery. It was a little creepy when we saw the red splatter in the tub and the oijia board but overall it was good 9.5/10.
This is the type of game we never seen before. There is not also a lot of LGBTQ games out there so we enjoyed that.
This game was so fun! The only thing is when we first got into the game we were confused on what to do and what to look at because you can pick up everything so we didnt know what we should pick up and what we shouldnt, so we ended up looking up how to play it but the game overall is fun the graphics is so good and we absolutely had fun playing this game. What we will say is that we would prefer if people the age 15 and up play because you really have to use your brain!! But its worth the $5.
We bought this game not knowing anything, Ill have to say this is an amazing game and worth the money! The storyline and ending were amazing. Definitely recommend!

This game was one of the first youtube lets play videos we ever saw when we were a kid. It was one of the first video games to ever make us sob. What can we say, really? The music gives us chills, the atmosphere is heavy, and the story is beautifully melancholic. Without spoiling too much, this game was the first step of discovering myself and our sexuality. We owe so much to it. Thank you, developers. <3.

We honestly can not recommend this game enough. Its more like an interactive story. You just go through the house with no enemies, no one chasing you, and you uncover a beautiful story that years ago gave this little q*eer person (me) such warm fuzzies!!! So happy to see its in the App Store! We’ve already played it and we spent the money again just to give recognition to LGBTQIAA+ content!! Thank you!!!
We got this game because Im on a mystery/puzzle game kick; we had no idea what it was about besides that you come home to an empty house. What we found was a great mystery and a poignant story about love. To top it all off it had great 90s gurl punk music. This made us cry more than once, both times because its just so sweet. Spoilers ahead……… When Sam talks about how intimate it was to dye Lonnies hair, we were blown away. That was so soft and lovely and poetic. This game is totally worth the money.
This game is so beautiful. Even though there is nothing chasing you, no jump scares, – there is a fun little anxiety associated with searching through the enormous and intricately designed house. It was so fun and addicting, and created so realistically with a very tender message.
We thought the overall game was pretty good, but it was so short it only took us an hour to complete. We just dont think it was worth that much money. It was a total waste.
Great game, we’ve played it on both PC and console, so Im impressed they were able to get it working on mobile. However, MFi controller support is only partial. It seems that only the left analog stick is correctly mapped. Please fix this guys. Will update review if it gets patched.

Im was disappointed overall. Very little adventure or problem solving. The game is an elaborate effort at storytelling, which is fine, but it is basically a walkthrough with a few half-hearted puzzles to solve. Not worth the $ imo.
Navigating through the house is hell. There were instructions in the beginning we think but we cant tell because you cant expand for them and the same is true for some text clues in the game. But worst, Im stuck on top of a dryer in the game for some reason and cant move. We cant continue game play and theres no way/or impossible to find way to access help in the app or on the developer website. We need a fix or our money back if we cant actually continue the game.
This is an amazing game, and we would have given it 5 stars if only it had proper controller support. Touchscreen controls are clunky, so we reached for our controller. The right joystick doesnt work to look around, and the various joystick buttons dont work. At the end of the day, this game has amazing charm, good sound and a compelling story. Controls are the only thing holding it back.
We just purchased this game for our iphone 6… Cannot even open the drawer to get the key under the duck. Have watched youtube instructions, searched everywhere online, the App store, etcetera, to no avail, cannot find a how to anywhere. Very frustrating, just want to play the game and we are stuck at the front door…
The controller mapping is severely incorrect. Im assuming it worked fine before the MFI update in iOS 13. Devs, please address this issue. Used DS4 and XBOXONE controllers. EDIT: still no word from the devs on this problem. Very unprofessional to not address this. Unbelievable!!
If we could only give it half a star instead of a whole on a would! Theres not much to do. Saw needs to be a tad more creepy and scary but not to much. We finished it in like 30 mins there needs to be more to do and more secrets to uncover. We’ve played games like this and this is the new low of disappointment like there is so much tht needes to be added to make it better. We are disappointed because again not much to do and we payed 5 dallors to play this we were expecting more stuff to do and see and uncover……. Boring, lame and disappointing.
We bought this as an iPad ganme but it is very difficult to move the character around. Clearly this works on a computer, without a keyboard we cant get it to work.
Good graphic and gameplay but story is weird to say the least. Boring and dumb. Then it just ends. Not a game a STORY. DONT BE FOOLED.
This isnt a game… Just a point and click story… Definitely not worth $5… Full of useless tasks that are not required to get completion… There are only maybe 10 to 15 steps of click to open or examine to finish the game.
We were so excited about this game! We payed five dollars for it- and we try our best to get only free apps. We thought this would be a long, immersive, complicated game. We finished it in less than an hour. The story was excellent, but it completely went off the rails. The sister ran away and the parents were on a trip to save their marriage. We were expecting there to be a ghostly subplot, as their were frequent references to a dead relative, summoning/ritualistic crap in a secret room, and all these secret passages. We thought it would turn into a murder mystery. It didnt. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. For a five dollar app, it should have been much longer and much more complicated.
Shortest game ever. 5 dollars? Really? The description makes it out like this games fantastic but the renders/graphics are mediocre at best and so is the storyline. Depressing all 2 hours. And man it was beyond short that was just the cherry on top for sure. Thanks for ripping us off. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY.
We got the game and was excited to play it but every time we go to play it, it shows the credits but after three seconds the screen goes black and it gets us out of the game. We tried multiple times and cant play. We dont know how to get our money back either!
We love these kind of games, but had to give up on this one. Playing on our ipad was almost impossible due to the wonky controls. So hard to maneuver. Waste of money.
We seen this game and expected to go on an adventure and possibly be creeped out but no this game is just a boring endless maze of walking. Programmers shouldve thought twice before making this.

Ur one of those people who like stories and walking simulators, this had no action and is really confusing if your not passionate about getting to the end. DONT WASTER UR MONEY unless u like that kinda stuff then go ahead but this game was def not for us but the graphics were very good. No shade just honesty. :)
The haptics for moving around the game were completely non-intuitive. After being unable to look under the potted plant for the key, just gave up and deleted it. Aggrevating.
This isnt a game at all. Theres very little story. You walk around and pick things up. Period. TOTAL waste of money and time.
Wandering around the house was interesting but the story was lacking. Where did everyone go? Killed by Sam? Time machine? On a really long walk to Siberia? Something satanic (pentagram in secret room)? We feel really hung out to dry. What a waste of money.
Knew nothing about the controversy about this game until after we finished it. Remarked to myself multiple times just how unfulfilling the gameplay was. Watching reviews has been more entertaining than playing it was. Boring. Do not waste your money.
