Loved this game! Super creepy, great visuals, different types of games. Yes, there are a lot of find a piece and insert in chest type items, but arent they all? Some of the puzzles actually took thought! Hurray! We had no glitches. The game is very long, and the bonus was a nice length as well. The HOS were varied. All around great game!
We’ve been looking for a good fun hidden object game to play and this game fits the bill. We love this fun game and it really has a good storyline. Thank you for another great game.

Reinstalled and avoided using the map feature which we believe was the reason the game was freezing the first time. Finished it. Was thoroughly enjoyable with challenging mini puzzles.
Did not crash on us once, which is a big plus! We enjoyed this game immensely and plan to play it again. Didn’t quite get the story, but did get the gist of it. Highly recommended!

This game is well done, you use items in different rooms not all in the same spot. We like the puzzles instead of a ton of hidden object games.
The game is interesting and fun to work. You can progress (in playing) by being observant and following clues. Good game!
We found this game long and enjoyable. A good mix of puzzles and HOs with lots of variation. No trouble with the game running on our iPad Air 2.

Loved this game; though our personal favorite is grim tales: the wishes. Out of curiosity? When is the next grim tales app coming out? We’re seeing it all over this internet, but nowhere in the AppStore. When will it be available?

We withheld a star because of the preponderance of puzzles. Should be more balanced with hops.
We’re all for a good long game but OMG it’s going on forever. The puzzles near the end of the game seem to be designed by someone else, they’re weird, not like the other puzzles. Maybe our memory isn’t the best but we can’t keep up with who’s who and what freaking time line everyone belongs to. It’s a good game, we’re not discouraging you to play just be prepared for a long game. We’ve just about lost interest.
We like it so far. We will probably buy it. The Hos isn’t too small to see on an iPhone. And we can’t pass up rescuing children.
Enjoyable game, though we only played the free selection and it was a pretty good length. The puzzles were different, which was nice, but the directions for using the lock pick were poorly written. It took a bit of time to figure out how to do it. We wish there were more HO scenes. They were few and very far between. We would buy it, but we don’t think these games are worth the prices BF is asking. When it goes on sale, we’ll probably buy it. Map is good, with teleporting. Hint is good, too. Update. It’s now on sale and we bought it. Its another of the good old games that used to be offered by BF. Much better than the "new" games.
Love the game. Have trouble when action moves to future. Matches do not light candles. Cannot get past glitch. Wish we could do so without becoming frustrated.
Complicated but nice. We like the complexity and the new things always introduced. Not too hard and always can opt out. But have enjoyed.
This game good have been much better without the glitches. Sometimes we has to tap over and over, the directions for the games were often incoherent, and it would sometimes need restarting. Very creative, but not up to Elephant Games standard. Author released it before it was ready.
We cant play ur older games on our new devise because they need updated. We would like to play the series in order but cant till u update ur older games in the series. If u update the older games ill buy all of ur newer games too.
This is a common problem. A lot of the screens are too dark to see while playing in a room where there is outside light coming in. In the puzzle where we had to find pairs of objects, we couldnt see half the objects. We were also disappointed that skipping a puzzle meant that we could not try to solve it late. We didnt see that explained anywhere. We thought it meant to skip it now with the intent of coming back later.
Another in a long line of puzzles claiming to be hidden objects but really a LOT of annoying puzzles with vague directions. And a poor story line. Sorry, there were some good hidden object puzzles in here but mostly it was a boring game.
Game frozen when it went to the house 25 years later.
We played the trial game and enjoyed it so much that we purchased the game. We were able to play it for one day and now it will no longer load. The screen stays black. Is this common? If we cant play it, it would be nice to get our $2.99 back.
The game was fair but the ending was poorly fleshed out. Little explanation for anything. Seemed to be a very abrupt end, as if somebody decided they had to wrap it up before it was over. As for two stars: Stop nagging us for a review. Just stop. We’ll do it once we’re done and we know more about it. STOP.
What a waste of time this was. First, we get 3/4 through the game and was shut out, we tried everything to get back to the game, nothing. We deleted the game and started over, losing all our puzzle pieces and morphing objects. We’re a calm soul so we began to pick up the puzzle pieces and morphing objects, got to the same place and was shut out again. We tried one more time, ignoring puzzle pieces and morphing objects and was able to reach the end only to find out that the bonus game wouldn’t load. We were told we couldn’t play the bonus game before completing the main game. For us that was ‘game over’. Another thing, the game was full of puzzles but sadly lacking in HOs. Big disappointment from Elephant games. A word to BF how about a new game once in a while instead of constantly offering old games. Big Fish a new game every day, seriously.
The story continues but without the ghost Richard, & makes the game not worth buying.
It’s a long game so very entertaining but some puzzles don’t have instructions or instructions are vague that you have no idea how to solve it One of the puzzles instructions were "interact with the game". Well no sh**.
Can not get in the game, all we get is a black screen!? Is there any fixes or updates for this game? We have deleted the game and am trying to download it again but it seems to be taking it forever. Whats going on?
Really liked this game until it would no longer load, just black screen. This happened right after we purchased it. Downloaded it again, losing all our progress. Played a little further until game stopped working again. Frustrating waste of money.
We were really excited about this game, huge fan of Grim series. But soon after trial ended and paying in full….. We pressed the game app and instead of starting the game….. It only brought up a black screen…. After restarting IPad three times, it still doesn’t work. We then see similar reviews and don’t know if we’ll bother trying to erase and download. What a disappointment. Bummed. PLEASE FIX AND REFUND!!!
This is , by far, the absolute best game we have ever played of Big Fish Games !! We truly just love this game !!
We bought this game Sept 2016 and we love this game!!! We love all of the Grim Tales titles. When we finished the whole game and it was a long game, we played it again. Will fast forward Sept 2019, we were downloading this game and hit the already purchased and it said It could hide no record of this purchase. We went to the record of purchases and there it was. But the game wanted us to pay again. This isnt the first time this has happened to us with this company. A couple of games said we can no longer play in this country (US) but we paid for these games all the same. Im getting tired of this company taking our money and not giving us access to our software. Buyer beware. Good game, horrible service/shakedown.
Bought the stupid game and it hard crashed before we were done. We want a refund!!!!!!
The game was good until it crashed. Now, when we try to open it, all we get is a black screen. Please resolve the bug or refund our purchase.
Downloaded this because it was on sale. Got to a certain point and now it won’t load. We’re going to have to uninstall and reinstall it losing all our progress which everybody knows the such a wonderful thing. Big fish we play your games all the time and we have been a loyal fan for quite a while, many years, and this really disappoints us. Please fix this game or refund our money.
