Get ready for some Ice Cream Headaches! The second Adventure Pack is now available!

Become the ultimate Dungeon Master as you bribe, entice and coax your heroes through their adventures on a quest to restore your guild to its ultimate glory! Guild of Dungeoneering is a unique turn-based RPG with a twist: instead of controlling the hero, you build the dungeon around him. Using cards drawn from your Guild decks, you lay down rooms, monsters, traps and of course loot! Meanwhile your hero is making his own decisions on where to go and what to fight. But will he be strong enough to take on the dungeon’s overlord? In between dungeon runs and card based battles, manage your Guild building new rooms to attract new classes of adventurer and to expand your decks of cards with more powerful items and events.

Build up your Guild with new rooms to attract new classes of adventurer and collect powerful items and abilities. From lowly Chumps to renowned Cartomancers, you’ll need all the recruits you can get in this challenging rogue-like RPG where no two dungeons are ever the same. Lead your hero to battle with the dangerous dungeon overlord, where his skill will be put to the ultimate test – for the glory of your Guild!

Guild of Dungeoneering will reward you for purchasing now by giving you all future content updates for FREE! As each content update is made, we may be charging a little bit more for the game.

Our second expansion pack, Ice Cream Headaches, is now available! Quest through the snowy mountains, visit the ice cream monks and battle all new monsters like the Slushie Elemental and the Pygmy Mammoth. With 21 new quests, 30 new monsters and 3 new classes, it’s our biggest expansion yet!

Ice Cream Headaches also introduces Favour, an all new gameplay mechanic which can aid in your quest’s success… or failure. Earn Favour by defeating monsters in rooms with a Rune of Fate, and spend your Favour to earn powerful card-manipulation effects. Use your Favour to draw extra cards in battle, or even remove weaker cards from your deck for the rest of the quest.

All this plus our first expansion pack, Pirates Cove, is available now!

Does not require an online connection to play.

NOTE: Guild of Dungeoneering does NOT run on the iPad mini 1, iPad2, iPhone 4 or similar hardware.

Features:

  • A turn-based RPG card game with a truck ton of personality, unique pen and paper visuals, catchy music and hilarious writing!
  • Take control of your fledgling group of heroes and lead them to victory! (after admitting to a few defeats of course)
  • Entice, coax and bribe your heroes to clear the dungeons you build by strategically placing rooms, monsters and loot from the cards you are dealt
  • Get to know each of your hero’s personality and traits, upgrade your existing heroes, and add new heroes while you try out new strategies to keep from sending them to their doom!
  • Manage your guild carefully and spend your hard earned ‘glory’ wisely to level up and unlock more rooms and equipment. Improving your guild means you’ll have a better chance at beating the harder dungeons as you progress and take down the ultimate dungeon overlord.

Guild of Dungeoneering Reviews

100% worth the price. We would pay it again in a heartbeat. What a fun twist on a card game! Every system and piece of content in the game is fun and accessible. We often find myself laughing out loud at the humor. Even though the random chance aspects of combat mean there are lots of deaths, consequences for failure are minimal, and it never feels like you are losing progress. What a well designed and finely crafted experience. We’ve told all of our friends to check it out.

Great game, love the lack of in app purchases. Very fun to play. Needs a new expansion very badly. PLEASE give us new content.

Finally something without ads and add ons that can be played just as is. Great game for kicking back for a few minutes and killing time between projects.

We love this game. Its easy to pick up, fun to play, and full of charm. Its a great feeling to unlock a new class, but it leads to one thing that needs changing: the new classes make the older classes obsolete. Once you get into the third (or even second, really) tier classes, you dont need to use anyone else. It might be fun to have certain dungeons that require a specific class or genre to keep the player on their toes. Chumps and Mimes need quests too!

It’s not for everyone but it fills its niche very well.

With the latest patch they seem to have fixed the crash issues on older platforms. Which is a huge relief for those of us that got hooked on this delightfully fun game! Thank you and keep up the good work!

Makes us reminisce about all the D&D maps we made as a kid.

Its easy to play, with challenge.

This is one of those rare games where the experience of playing it is more fun than the game itself. Designed by another team, it would not have nearly the character and memorability that it has. As is, it made us grin foolishly before we even began playing. Definitely worth looking at, and remembering next to other timeless classics.

Love the graphics, the funny quips on each card, the bard telling stories, the battle mechanics, the card-based dungeon building, and we could go on and on with all the little details.. Great job, developers.

Fun play for anyone who has played rpg’s.

Great fun and quirky game. We don’t say this often but absolutely worth the small price. Our go to game for killing time on the bus or at the doctors office or even just at home.

This game has a good amount of unique strategy and it’s great (sadly refreshing) buying a game without having to worry about acquiring gems/coins/shards in order to continue playing. Our only critique is that we wish there were less choices where the best option is to play it safe. There’s a lot of rng but most of the time it pays off to not take a risk and that means you end up with some of the same items on every dungeon run. But that’s a minor complaint that we only really noticed after dozen hours or so of playing. Looking forward to future games from this developer!

Where…. Is…. An… UPDATE????? Or at least a sequel. Give us MOOORRREEE!!!!

Love this game, there is a lot more to it than you see at first glance. Give it a try and you won’t be sorry.

Its great 15 min sesh maybe make it 10 in fast its good tho!

We love this game. Great to pass the time and we love the sound track. We wouldn’t change a thing.

This game was worth every penny and then some! A one of a kind turn based strategy game that offers many hours of gameplay!

Really good strategy card based game.

With a creative and intuitive game system and cheeky fun flavor, this game is a real gem. Our only complaint is that there aren’t more games that follow this same system – I’d love a serious fantasy setting, a sci-if version, etc.

Great personality. We die a lot but still make progress. Something different.

Amazing simple game play but yet with growing complexity Well done.

We really don’t know what more to say. It was a bit odd to start but once you get used to it. Well, it’s funny and fun at the same time.

This is a great game. Buy it. Oh, you want reasons? Ok, well, it’s fun. It’s polished. It’s got action, adventure, humor, and singing. You’ll get more far more enjoyment out of this for a longer period of time than you will from that overpriced coffee you’re drinking as you read this so stop screwing around and buy this already, sheesh!

The game is super fun, and with the latest update it no longer crashes even on our decrepit old third-generation iPad. In fact, it’s not only stable, it’s quite snappy now as well. We kept coming back before, even when it was crashing all the time; now it’s stable it’s like a dream. Well worth the price.

This is a fun game that is easy to pick up and put down. Because its turn based there is no stress to monitor it constantly. Perfect for when theres a few minute to fill. Careful though! It can be addicting! One note, its starting to menu a little slow, may need an update for the newer OS.

3 weeks into an eight week foot-surgery recovery and decided to give this game a try. Glad we did… Awesome time-killer and genuine fun! Simple to learn but enough complexity to keep us interested for hours on end. Especially cute if you ever played D&D…. Had to chuckle at the Ranger character wondering aloud if he gets a "dual-wielding bonus" or complaining about not having a "pet" to take "hits" for him. But, even without getting the insider-jokes anyone will enjoy this. Great game!

Fun game, easy to learn, plenty challenging. New levels added as we finish the old ones.

Wasn’t how we thought it would play, but it turns out we love it.

Very entertaining for a rather long period of time.

We can’t put this down. Love the card battles, and the thrill of figuring out how best to use each character. If we could change one thing: I’d like to be able to write our own epitaphs. Our dungeoneers deserve better than simply "he didn’t get out much"

Really good game play with the perfect amount of grinding/advancing in difficulty. Awesome strategy too.

This game keeps killing our Dungeoneers. It’s driving us so crazy we just can’t put it down. Oh, and our wife can’t stop playing it, either. It’s using up all of her free free time, too. What a dumb game!! We can’t stand how much fun it is.

This is an awesome and fun game. We like to play D&D, it would be nice to have some of these maps for export to play paper and pen games for people like us who cant draw. We strongly suggest download this game and indulge into creating the dungeons. Love the pirates!

Exactly what we want on our phone.

This is a really fun game with a great sense of humor and some interesting mechanics.

What a wonderful experience! We’ve put maybe 8 hours on and off and we cant seem to not want to play it. Truthfully Im still at the 2nd part of the game and have gone through 4-5 Dungeoneers but heck just the journey and the joy of learning this game is great. If your looking for a card/board game. This is by far one of the best. The only we would really hope for would be some sort of multiplayer. We could for sure see it doable, by coop or vs. Either way great job devs. Seems you all sport beards and drink the finest of brews! Ciao.

We’ve had the game for five days and we’ve probably racked up about 20 hours of game time. We find it really fun! Sometimes the cards dont go your way, but accepting that Dungeoneers die is just part of the learning experience. Use your Chumps to scout out dungeons and see what kind of monsters youll face before committing your better people, and you can save a lot of (non-Chump) lives. Love the game, worth the money!

Such funny. Much Rogue. Do you want some kind of coffee, Mr. Key Master (of Gozer)? Do I? Yes, have some. Yes, have some…

Great pick up and put down dog!

Whimsical. Crazy narration. We’re new to RPG gaming, and found this deck-building game great fun. Takes a dozen or so deaths to kind of figure out what’s what… But a wonderful way to pass the time! Kudos!!

This is one of our favorite mobile games. It doesn’t make you pay to win. It isn’t time based so you can only do so much before you are done. The game play with cards and different characters is fun as well.

It’s fun that the different classes excel at different dungeons.

There is no better game than this!!!!!
