The game is excellent but we dont understand the scoring system. Would you please pot that information in the game? Thanks.
We don't like that you can't get a new partner. You can rename them but that doesn't change the algorithm they play under and the one we have SUCKS. Constantly misbidding, cuts us when they could throw off costing us books. Its annoying enough we'll look for another app.
We really enjoyed this game until just recently it has been filled with pop-up ads after each hand. Why.
If you have ever wondered what it is like to play with a partner who has a traumatic brain injury, you might wanna play this. We just got done with a 30 minute game where our AI partner overbid so many times that we exceeded the bag limit twice. When hes not doing that, he is significantly under bidding. He gets his bid, and then later on plays the king and ace of spades. So stupid. Ive never met a person who played spades who is as stupid as this, so Im not exactly sure what they mean to be simulating here. On a couple of occasions, he has trumped us and then we ended up missing our bid by one. Ive also seen him sluff cards that he couldve taken and then later on we miss our bid. Meanwhile, the other two AI partners seem to be lockstep in their strategies. Give this one to skip. Unless youre the kind of person who likes to bang his nuts in the door just for the hell of it.
It is like playing with the least intelligent person imaginable. Will bid 1 with a nil hand, and get 0, or collect bags at an alarming rate.
This spade game is addictive. We play it all day. Enjoy playing it.

We love this game its relaxing but still takes you use some strategy.
We had forgot how to play spades but this game has us back in the game. Im not a pro but Im learning. We really enjoy this game.
This app has gotten bad, Ill get ads in the middle of a hand that wont go away. And ads between each hand.
We realize these are computer players but something needs to be done to improve their play. We had a nil player totally trapped and our partner trumps the trick. They had cards to slough off but they trumped it. Very frustrating.
App very good with one exception- you partner every time misses the chance to let your opponent win a trick when they had bid nil.
We deleted this app because it doesnt accurately keep up with the books. It literally gives books youve earned to the other team.
Computer partner makes terrible decisions.
The advertising on really all these games, but this one was a game we used to love to play regularly. We clicked on one type of one time and from then on Ive seen nothing but ads for that particular subject. Yes, it had to do with AI girls we were curious and then we were disgusted, but whats disgusted us more was the barrage of advertising absolutely lost us. We have to deleted this app and we recommend you never download it.
Repeating what others have said: The scoring is inconsistent/inaccurate often. The partner isnt programmed well and makes nonsensical plays. Also this app causes our phone to overheat quickly.
The computer will cheat. Most time if you make all your books it will deduct points. Our son and we were playing and the computer had 430, we played and it deducted like 120 from both teams and they still had 460. How if you win at 500? Deleted.
Istg your computer partner will THROW the round Its so infuriating. The amount of ads is actually crazy Why are there ads DURING the round? Right in the middle of the table. That is just greedy. Im getting a different app. We just cant.

We really enjoy playing this spades game. We tried a bunch before landing on this one. The bots handle nil hands very well and they know to give their partners the tricks when theyre out of that suit. They also sluff off really well when the bid is met. Im thoroughly impressed! And highly recommend.

The card game is nice but it need some jokers in the game.
If the cpu opps bids nil and still takes books, no sandbags are added to the score card. But when we (the human player) bid nil, we AM penalized with sandbags. Please make the bag penalty apply to everyone or nobody. Thank you.
We love the game. We just dont like how the score does not add the right way. The scoring system should be if you sandbag you get penalized every time. But they deduct whenever they feel like it. Even if you get 1 over sometimes out the clear they will penalize you.
Partners are not very good, especially covering Nil bid.
The reason we gave it three stars only is because lately when we start a game,ads pop up and no matter how hard we try ,we can not get past the ads to finish our game and it is very irritating.
We have downloaded this game about an year ago. It gives us some easy pass time. The game play is nice and smooth. But the logic used in the game is HORRIBLE. It will make your blood boil. One easy solution: avoid partnership play. The computer is a loser. A possible good game wasted for rubbish logic.
The game is fun, but the scorekeeping needs a lot of improvements. Many times the bag penalty is applied to the wrong team, or skipped all together. Additionally, a null game is sometimes awarded to the wrong team.
Many ads wont leave after interval. And software issues -100 scoring penalties beyond rules.
If you like a partner that constantly underbids bags and then bids nil that they cant make this is the game for you.
Decent Game, not the occasional ad, but an ad after every hand – look at the price and see if its worth it.
You cant fully enjoy the game because after every hand theres three repetitive ads. Annoying.
We love the game but the ai makes the contract 7-9 we usually put our bid 3-5 and the bot puts 6 making the contract 9-11 which makes us lose so much points.
When we download the game it stated no ads . Thats not true.
Computer plays poorly. Under/over bids. Butts heads with you and does not know how to throw off.
This is the most challenging spades app there is, and we love it as a competitive person.
Good just need less adds and needs jokes.
We thank spades is as good as bridge we play them both, We should teach our children both games, they both teach partnership and working together in card games.
Simple layout, not a bunch of fancy junk, just play a game.
Very bad you play an entire game and it hold the game up for an hour.
Make it cheaper to be rid of them.
We tried many other games of spades because we were very unhappy with this one. We gave to say there are issues Im not thrilled about here because our partner underbids then throws spades even he didnt need to am the hand and consequently causes sandbags. We dont like that we have to second guess their hand to bid on ours so we dont go over. So if that could be addressed and some how adjusted to have our team mate more of a team player, that would be great. Otherwise this is, in our opinion the best spades game available right now.
Like this format of spades the best. Even though we just lost 100 points, we really like the feature that deducts for too many trumps over the bid.
Fun game we like it. Every single round are several ADs which was annoying. We end up paying the $49.99 for a year of NO ads. Im pretty sure we click the $29.99 for 6 months but after checking it had us at the 49.99 yearly. We just left it there. But we do enjoy playing Spades. We are a beginner and this gives us good practice along with relaxing and preparing ourselves playing with other friends who plays. We put the app on our husband iPad as well. Unfortunately, he also had to pay for no ads for $29.99 for 6 months. To bad its no such thing as the app being in one name so 2 senior citizens do not have to pay twice in the same household. We noticed or could not find any instructions or rules in this app. Maybe owner/seller can help us? Questions such as Bag Penalty- What does it mean when 100 points are always taken away? What am we doing wrong? Nil score – What does this mean? And the Hand Score- shows 49 or 50 points taken away along with the points taken from bag penalty. Example – if you bid only 1 point over, you are penalized for 100 points thats taken away. Is there a section within the app where rules are stated for beginners like us. Miner things are noticeable like you are penalized for certain moves, but the partner side is not penalized for the same move. Also we would like to see options of Levels of game. Again like the game with some upgrade improvements without payments. Thank you.
