While this game may be on the shorter side, its amazingly good. So often the voice acting in HO games are pure cringe but not this time and the artwork was wonderfully creepy and detailed. Whoever did the artwork for Lilith created one of the best and truly scariest looking characters Ive ever seen in a Big Fish game thus far. She always made our stomach drop when shed come on screen. Other than that, it was the perfect mix between HO puzzles and non-HO, which is the most important aspect we always judge an HO game by. Some of them get really heavy handed with the non-HO puzzles and those puzzles are definitely not why we buy HO games.
We wish the bonus game was longer but overall very enjoyable.

Not sure if we got the title right. This game has a great story. The journal helps you stay with the story. Good graphics too. We recommend purchasing it. We did, and now we're going to play it again.
Another great game in the Haunted Hotel series. HOPs and puzzles are challenging but not too difficult, and the graphics are what youve come to expect from the developer. In short, its a fun game and worth the cost.
A lot of these big fish games use hidden objects to get more clues but sometimes they overuse it. In this game, they used a lot of clever mini-puzzles that were actually challenging and required logic and ingenuity to figure out. The graphics were outstanding and the hints were just enough to get you looking in the right place without giving too much away. The objects in the inventory were detailed enough to know what they were and all of the puzzles made sense, which is not always the case. Best game we've played in a long time.

This game is fun and has it all! From amazing graphics to animated objects with perfect sound effects, fun hidden objects games that have little puzzles to them, challenging mini games, and a fun storyline… We look for Elephant games because they only get better and they are pretty amazing. Once you find a good Game like this one that has it all its you won't want to go back to any others.
This game played great on our iPad mini 2 and we loved how creepy it was. We love creepy and this game delivered. The environment was creepy, the music was creepy, and there were whispers all about that were super creepy. The animations were great as well as the map and hint system. Such a great game.
The best Hi t button ever – transports you to the next location! Fast refresh rate for both the Hint and Skip buttons! Loved the plot – not overly complicated! Good graphics, many HOGs and puzzles. Can't wait for the sequel.
We've played a lot of hidden object games, and this is one of the better ones. We would recommend this game to anyone.
We loved this game. We are a senior and like playing hidden object games, however a lot of them are fake above our skill set. This game was relaxing and enjoyable for us. We wish more like this were produced for those of us that are not super players on a grand level.

BF has been pretty boring for MANY months but finally a game that is more adult content that is actually engaging and slightly creepy!! (good bye little princesses, fairies and all the childish themes.YEAH!). The puzzles are challenging but not overwhelming. Some scenes are a bit glitchy as far as multiple taps to get objects but not nearly as bad as many BF games. Over all, the trial does make you want to buy.
Game moves along seamlessly between scenes. It actually makes sense in evolution the story. Good job big fish.

Keeps crashing before we even got a chance to play!!! Had to delete, please fix!!! The game was fixed and we were able to play all of it and really enjoyed it. Has everything we look for in a HOAG.

Deleted last downloaded Haunted Hotel because it just seemed so monotonous. Liked this new one very much-loved the plot. Imagined ghosts, real villains-like the human aspect of it. A bit tired of spirits and creatures. Wonderful artwork as always, Elephant! Your artists are second to none. Thanks for having the storyline up to the same level this time. Collectibles, good HOS, but we thought a few of the games were too difficult. Best part was the low price. Excellent game play for the cost. Thank you.
The Haunted Hotel games are a sublime combination of pathos and creepiness. The pathos keeps you emotionally involved with the characters, and the mysterious atmosphere and slowly revealed plot keep you searching. We are looking forward to the next game.

This is really a cool and scary game to play, we just love the suspicious way to solve the crimes and found out who done it……..gotta go, must find out who is behind this.
This one wasn't a long game but it was well worth the price. The story was well put together, the soundtrack was creepy good, the achievements were actually not impossible to get. We don't write many reviews but we think this game deserves a shot. Get it while it is on sale and you won't be so disappointed with it's length.

We found this game shorter than other Elephant Games, which was a bit of a disappointment. However, we did really like it. The graphics were superb, as they are in all games done by Elephant. The HOS were really good and there was a wonderful variety of puzzles. The storyline was a good one as well.
Although we didn't buy the full version yet, we really enjoyed the preview a lot. As someone who's played a ton of these type of games, this one is very well crafted.

Never a dull moment with this game. All the bells and whistles with collectibles. Even when you're not sure what to do, something happens. Also much more creepy than the other Haunted Hotels. Five stars for sure.
We've been waiting for this game ever since Ancient Bane was released!! The story and graphics were both good and we really enjoyed it! We can't wait until the next one.

Haunted Hotel: Death Sentence seems like another superior game by Elephant Games. We jumped at the chance to purchase it at such a low price! You are a detective searching to see if your other detective buddy, James, is still alive after searching the Haunted Hotel. The mood is suitably creepy, with mood music and dark, eerie rooms to explore. As in most Elephant Games, you are given a good Hint and Skip button, and a super Teleporting Map function. The puzzles have so far been mainly mechanical in nature, such as build the movie projector from the diagram. We are glad that there are Collectibles to gather in each scene, such as decorative glassware. You also are collecting Miniature Characters of each person in the game. Love that aspect, which adds some interest to the game. The Hidden Object puzzles so far have mostly been routine, including one where you use shadow shapes to open doors with other objects. It has been so much fun thus far that it is 2 a.m., and we cannot stop playing! Buy this while you have a chance, and enjoy yourself.
Great game for the price. Love the story line and how easy it is to go to each scene. The puzzles are real good and that makes for a interesting game. Scary! Lol.
