We rhin this game is really fun and addictive.
Ive played this game MANY times; its one of our favorites of all time. Yet just now when we re-downloaded it and tried to play it, there were those glitchy weird square graphics! This happened on some of our other favorite games that are a few years older. We dont understand why its doing this, and we know its been awhile since this game has been updated. But whoever is in charge of the updated? Please please PLEASE update this game These games are supposed to be playable for life after we purchase them; this situation is very unfair to the customers. It almost feels like were being ripped off now. Please please please fix the graphics. Thank you for your time.
This was a game that was fun to play. Not to hard but not easy either.
We have played so many games from the Big Fish app, and we always come back to play this game. We probably played it 6 or 7 times and it really held our interest. The graphics are beautiful and storyline is entertaining. Thanks Puzzles are interesting and challenging however there are solutions, so you dont have to drive yourself crazy and get stuck for a week in one spot of the game. The audio and sound effects add a nice accent. So glad we purchased the game, its worth every cent. Enjoy it.

Haven't played HO games for awhile. It didn't take us long to remember who the good creators are. We're usually never disappointed with White Elephant and still not. Really fun game, plot is interesting, graphics great, map easy and fast to use. HO games and puzzles are fun, there's been a couple we just couldn't figure out. It's worth the $6.99 for sure.
This is definitely one of our favorites in the Haunted Hotel series!!! Theres everything you could want in a great HOAG & more! Great storyline, graphics, voiceovers & we experienced zero glitches. Plenty of extra items to find including morphing objects, map for fast travel and although it has a guide theres one available in Big Fishs Walkthrough Guide which we prefer to access them there if needed so we can use our iPhone to look at it while playing the game! Theres a good variety of HOP & mini-games and both the main game & bonus chapter were nice and long! We highly recommend this game.
This is in our top 2 Big Fish > Elephant hob games. Entertaining plot with good characters and acting, a few more video scenes, interesting scenes and totally smooth play; no stuttering inventory, everything works on first try. We liked all the puzzles, Hobbs and mini-games as well. Cool twist and The bonus game was fun as well.
Not all the way through, maybe 3/4 so we reserve the right to change if need be. So far excellent game. Good story line that has kept on track and not rushed. Seamless, no glitches. Some games too easy but with newer games, a variety we can live with the ease of some. Not too short.
Fun to play, good Puzzles & HOPs. Spooky with good storyline, really enjoyable. No crash problems, good transitions. We love this series (if you cant tell by now). Elephant Games is a great developer, need more of same.
No glitches, smooth playing. Many types of puzzles and HOGs, long-playing, engrossing – we played for hours! Ambient sound fitted into the story line, creepy graphics. Fun.
Absolutely loved this game, very challenging can't put it down, have to see what awaits next. We highly recommend it, excellent no crashing, good storyline, mysterious characters, wonderful graphics, no music. Only Big Fish, has the best games.

You play a few scenes then it stops loading we've had to replay game over 3 times. Iam done going to delete and never det to finish.
This superior game by Elephant had us jumping out of our skin. Graphic surprises! Well done.
Overall, worth the price. Search and finds are not overused and are well done. The game gets glitchy sometimes and near the end the developers just did not want to try as hard as games became ridiculously easy.
We really enjoy the game, but it's crashed and this is now 2 days that we can't play. Just a black screen. Please fix this, we've already paid for the game and we don't want to uninstall and have to pay again.

Sadly. We have a feeling we wouldve really enjoyed this game, but there are white patches on our screen that make it so we cant fully see the scenes. We deleted and downloaded the app again but didnt help.
It was not worth the 6 dollars we paid for it, we finished it really early and was left unsatisfied with the ending. Maybe if this game was cheaper, Id be leaving a different review, but when we saw it was 6 dollars we had higher expectations.
All we're getting is a black screen now.
Really enjoyed the game! However, it crashed halfway thru the bonus chapter. Just a black screen when we try to open the game. We've tried closing all apps, rebooting our phone. Nothing. Not sure we want to delete and reload. What if it crashed again and we lose our progress? Very frustrating.
The game was great until one day we went back to play it and all we got was a black screen!! We were too far in to want to try to delete and re download. We hope it gets fixed or we want our money back for sure.
This game is fun, but there is WAY too much jumping around, even using the map, the constant jumping is annoying to us. We must have gone from Room 201 a dozen times to get items we needed from elsewhere. The game needs better organization. Without the map to guide us, we'd never know where we were supposed to go next. We like to use logic to move from step to step in these games, but the developers seem to want to add time by making the players jump all over the place. We find that annoying. And, we didn't find ANY HO scenes! We thought this was supposed to be a hidden object game! And, those puzzles are poorly designed. We tried to piece them together and the pieces kept jumping. We finally just flipped them into the area they belonged to, and they went to their exact spots and stayed there! Annoying, and dumb. We're not a kid. We don't need to put together puzzles with four to six pieces! Duh! We might have bought this IF it was better organized. Too bad.
When we downloaded the new upgrade of this game that we paid for, we can no longer get the game our screen is just black we really enjoyed this game . Man what a bummer hope we can still play or get our money back.
White flashy squares cover everything.
This game would be good if the recent apple iOS (14) hadnt screwed with the graphics. This is not the only game to suffer in this way (squares all over the screen, puzzles unable to be seen due to white squares over them, screen flickering, etc). We have been playing despite these issues but its less enjoyable to say the least. We dont know whos issue this is but Im sure the game developers will end up having to fix it. We hope you will soon and find the cause before releasing any new games with the same issue.

Game is currently unplayable due to graphics glitches, in both iPad and iPhone. Please just remove this game from the App Store if you're not going to fix it.
Started playing the game but could not go through with it due to weird white squares covering the graphics. Deleted the app and re-downloaded it thinking it will solve the issue, but it did not. Saw that others had the same problem so not sure why this hasnt been fixed as a lot of reviews show this is an awesome game.
Really love this series and so far we cant play it because it is a mess visually. Have the newest version according to the App Store. Very disappointed. Good luck.
This use to be one of our favorites but like most of our purchases the graphics changed making the games impossible to play. Please restore games to their original graphics especially the ones Ive already purchased.

This game is having weird glitches on every page- strange glowing squares blur out over 50% of every page. Very disappointing.

Why havent the issues with those awful graphics throughout the game been resolved? We would really like to play the game, but this issue makes it impossible.
White boxes cover the screen in random places.
The game seems interesting but from the moment it hits the title screen, it starts glitching and half of the screen just flashes white squares. We cant even see whats going on to even be able to enjoy whats going on in the game.
Dont waste your time or money! The graphics are horribly glitchy. You cant see what you need to do. How can we play a game when you cant see what youre doing?! Ridiculous.

Graphics is funky on iPadOS 14.5.1.
Every particle and icon image and other textures has a white squary backround making it near unplayable because you cannot see. Please fix.
Unplayable on our iPad due to white squares and other things blocking the screen. This occurred even though as noted below the description that the game is playable on your iPad.
Im really angry that this game isnt playable because the graphics are messed up. Im trying to get our money refunded. Im disappointed in Big Fish even selling this game and ripping off customers.
This game wasnt on sale last New Years and it worked GREAT then. It was finally on sale this year, so we bought it. Come to find out, the graphics are a mess. All blocky and small little digital looking squares everywhere, making the game unusable. Waste of money. We dont see the dev updating such an old game, either.
Ever since we updated to iOS 14, there are annoyingly bright squares over all of the objects in the game. It makes the game unplayable. There hasnt been an update to the game on over 3 years so we doubt theyll fix it.
