If you’re installing the game for the first time, you should be able to see the Wallet icon pop-up after your first run. This allows you to purchase in game Credits with real money in order to bet within the game.
If you win, you get those Credits added to the Wallet. If you lose, then you lose that number of Credits for that run.

We like it but it needs to be updated to iOS 11 so we can play it again.
We wanted to like this game. We really did. We have fond memories of the Atari original and still play it on occasion. But there are fundamental problems, and at its heart this game is little more than a cash grab. The game is nearly unplayable (for more than about 2 minute per game) without "upgrades" which are ludicrously expensive in game currency. However these upgrades are one-use only (i.e. 3,000 coins buys you 3 lives, but after you die three times you are out your coin). Of course, you can buy coin for real money, but again, once it’s gone, it’s gone. Graphics are good and whimsical, but gameplay is too complex. Too many different actions (i.e. Swipe left then immediately swipe right, then tap but don’t swipe in the same two seconds) are required too close together to really be fun.
Very tough game, and not in a fun way. The game only registers your finger on the screen about 75% of the time. We’ve died countless times just because it doesn’t register that we’re tapping. Very frustrating and greatly detracts from the game. We gave three stars because it’s cute, well-animated, and allows you to play as a girl or a guy. Just wish it was more playable.
Fix ur app, seriously.. We totally love this game. It’s challenging, an we like challenging but the in-app purchase won’t load. Even ur website for Atari for support is in error.
Looks like an ok game and the graphics are ok. But we couldn’t get past the tutorial stage where they tell you about 10 different moves at once, expecting you’ll remember them all right away. Would be nice if the game introduced them to you move spread out. Master one or two moves first, then introduce more.
We want to play this but it won’t even open the app! It crashes every time.

Love the cute Halloween art, love the challenges. We wish there was an all dark mode to simulate the appearance of the classic game better. But this will do =) Highly recommended if you’re looking for a fresh new runner.
This game, as a previous reviewer mentioned, has nothing at all to do with the 2600 game, similarly to a large majority of you guy’s other remakes. The game itself is… Okay we guess. Just please stop making money off names, please!

The controls on this game made no sense. It was not fun or easy to play. Barely reached level 2. Uninstalled fast.
This is a must have classic game!! We would recommend this to anyone who loves games that are simple and fun to play, we hope Atari has more apps to come, so guys, open ur crusty eyes and download the APP, NOW! Oh and by the way, Dylan we know you have our iPod, not happy insert grumpy cat picture
This is nothing but a stupid runner based game and a horrible one at that. It has absolutely nothing to do with the old classic game. They simply used the theme in hopes that tons of people would download by simply mentioning the classic game. Don’t waste your time!
