A Glimpse into Haunted Manor 2

It’s night. You’re driving your car down a road, dark and desolate. Behind the wheel, you’re tired and alone, consumed by the silence of the dark and desolate woods. The only source of light other than your headlights are the flashes of lightning from the storm looming above. The trees, with each flash of lightning, create ominous shadows that spill across the road ahead of you, both impressive and foreboding. Your foot suddenly slips on the brake pedal when, surprised and confused, you see the figure of a woman standing in the middle of the road facing you, illuminated by the headlights. You swerve and lose control of the car and it skids off the road. It’s dark again. You wake up dazed by the impact: you are safe, but do not know where you are or who the woman was. Was she even really there, or was she just a figment of your imagination? The rain pours even harder, creating a metallic drumming sound as it beats against your car. You lift your head and see what might be the only place for miles to seek shelter from the storm: an old solitary mansion, seemingly abandoned… or is it?

We love this game. Its challenging but doable. Hours of entertainment :)

With the dimness of the screen its hard to see sometimes. Love the game though. Better than escape rooms.

Wow. One of the few games of its kind! Challenging, intelligent, long length and immersive… We played straight through! This game is definitely not for the lazy or casual tap-tap players. 95% of games in the App Store already cater to those tap-tappers. And yet they keep complaining about games like these being too difficult. So many developers have simplified their games to appeal to them. Which is why these kinds of intelligent, challenging games are so rare to find nowadays. So if you’re not up for a challenging escape game… Move on and play angry birds. Please don’t leave a bad review just because it was too hard for you. For anyone who likes to think outside the box and be challenged… This game is well worth the $4 or $5 price tag! Thank you Redbit.

Amazingly eerie atmosphere and superb sound design. Most puzzle games are linear, so you progress from one room to another. This one is different and much more realistic: you move back and forth between the different areas as clues are revealed. At times it seemed too difficult, but whenever we returned after taking a break, we were able to solve the puzzles. You come across many games that are just not logical enough, where a lot seems random. This game is quite the opposite: a lot is logical and you find yourself not just haphazardly clicking around. Only drawback might be the drastic change in (visual) perspectives in some cases – you get disoriented. We’ve played so many free and paid puzzle games and this has to be one of our favorites!

We were very impressed with the opening scene it felt like we were playing a pc game that we had to pay for but we only got the Lite version and our experience was awesome! We love the game had lots of complex thinking, got caught on some things (and sometimes cheated) but this game was really fun!

Most mystery search games arent long enough to enjoy.

We can speed through other escape room games, but this one is actually changing and not predictable. We love it!

Great game. Eerie music. Sends chills.

We were like 5 years old Whalen we played. But When we watched the add for the stupid lame $9.99 when we saw a ghost. We were super scared that we deleted the app. Then 5 years later we found the game! We were so super happy, we would shout! And our dad loved the game too! So we told him, but to our surprise, he said he didnt remember it. We were unhappy. But the main reason we are writing this is because your able to get, GET the game for FREE, in the App Store but when you get really into the game and beat it/beat part of the game, you have to BUY THE OTHER PART!!! We mean, the game is fun but fix the game. Please, if any of the creators of the game are reading this, please, PLEASE let us play the other part. And guess what, its just making most of the people and we very, very angry. Second, im the YouTuber (Wave of Fire) that makes music and cool videos, and want to make videos of this game but dont want to until we get the other part. And we have two more words for the creators of the game, FIX IT!!!

We love games like this that makes us think and use our brain lol ! Good story line ! A little hard to follow wish there was a hint option.

The game looks fun. Its hard to work with static screen environments after coming out of the Room series games. We are unable to get past the trap door on the front even after obtaining the metal bar. This may be a bug with iPhone 7 Plus.

Very entertaining and addictive. But it has a couple glitches…

Fun game that requires a lot of thinking… Always fun when we solve a part.

We were enjoying the game to until we found out you had to pay to play. The rest of the game. 2.99 is a lot of money to complete a game. .99$ is a much better deal. You will get more people to pay and play. We hate when you have to play to finish a game.

We liked this game a lot. There was an interesting story, decent graphics and some nice puzzles. Unless you are an expert at puzzle games, play on easy. Brighten your screen and tap items you think may be useful more than once, as the game is too dark and a little finicky on the touch. Its a nice long game and well worth 3 bucks. We didnt care for some of the minute items in incredibly dark spaces, forcing you to tap insanely around every room to make sure you didnt miss anything. All in all a good game.

It is a good game with a decent mystery to it and the puzzles are fun and interactive.

The game was interesting graphics were nice, but Im not a big gamer and having to go back-and-forth to Facebook for hints became time consuming and aggravating after the first hour of gameplay. Its the first game we’ve ever played a hidden object game that used Facebook for their hints. All the other games included hint on the game page. Just a word of advice you might want to think about changing it.

Make sure your screen brightness is all the way up! Fun ending. Maybe multiple endings? We didnt feel like playing all the way through again to find out.

We give it only four stars due to the fact that you can barely see the items even with our brightness turned up all the way other than that its a simple and common sense type of game Im enjoying it immensely!

It has its moments of fun, but can be frustrating a little bit as well.

We were loving haunted Manor…. It kept us interested and was a very good challenge! That’s when we realized that it was not a complete game and we would have to purchase to play the full version. We’re not going to do that….. However we believe that there is still parts undiscovered by us but we’re not sure! Where does this version stop?? We’ve finished the clock (7) and entered the manor, now we don’t know if there’s more to do or if we’re done…. Help it’s still a great game but we would never have started playing if I’d known a purchase was required to complete! Might include that in the synopsis to help out cheapskates like us. Thanks.

Super fun escape game. So glad they expanded on the first one which was super short.

After figuring out the Trap Door… The reason so many people have issues with the Trap Door and Metal Bar – assuming its a Glitch – (as we initially did, reloading the App several times) is because when you open the tools, the boxes cover the area where the bar/lever is supposed to fit … …. UNTIL more than 20+ tries…. … Rapidly touching the same areas repeatedly… That it FINALLY opened! We’ve never been so grateful to fall! Lol. So after that, and although there were still some glitchy tools… Taking many times until it caught on and worked, the story literally took off, and now – after playing almost half way through- Im glad we made the extra effort. Its a SUPER creepy storyline with realistic detailed graphics we appreciate, where you can almost feel the cool marble, linoleum, steel and metals, all the different fabrics and woods, variety of plants… As well as Smell the dampness throughout- whether its the earth, the musky house, the rotted items, rusted fixtures…. Its just great. Plus its long, has scene after scene, so many unique rooms- each with their own creative features…. So the story line may be a bit muddled…. But youre so caught up in discovering whats around the corner, and the steady pace of puzzles and mini games, that you dont seem to notice. Not many games truly pull us in – and Im IN. Ha. Love it. Hope number 3 is forthcoming, especially from a fellow Italian – A Rome Based Developer (Im from Genova) whos site invites you to Stop by anytime! Youre always Welcome! Grazie!! Lia C. From Ital-y Suggestions: Of course-lol…. We could do without the constant Baby Crying in the background…. Thats not creepy… Its annoying Even the Brainy Level wasnt too difficult- please ramp it up- and include an Extreme option if possible- for future games.

We are unable to get past the dials even when they are all equal to 7.

Loved the atmosphere. Always happy in a rainstorm! Graphics are way too dark even with the brightness all the way up. Just could not find things without the walkthrough.

Decent graphics and we really loved the design of the manor, but its quite long with convoluted puzzles that make no logical sense. You hold onto some pieces for an extremely long time to the point you want to throw some of it away. Contrast makes it hard to see things that we end up just tapping everywhere. Some puzzles the controls wouldnt act as well as it should. Not even sure how it ties with the first game, even though a particular room reappears with no context. Preferred the first one.

We completed all the puzzles but when we went to check on our points it did not give us credit. For example entering the mansion and Chandeliers. It was also missing a clue for our book and would not let us proceed through the closet… We went on you tube to make sure we had done everything right… We did and …. What a waste of time.

Great graphics. Great story. Great point and click adventure game. Its a little dark at times and hard to see. And just when youre getting somewhere as youre really into the game … There it is…. Buy for $2.99 to unveil the mystery behind the manor with 70 new locations etc!!!! Sorry but not everyone has iTunes or money to Toss away on a puzzle game especially during this quarantined times when people are arent working bc they cant! Good game but ….. Maybe Ill come back to it eventually.

This game is very challenging, even on easy. Could benefit from hints and clues when u get stuck. You dont want a game thats too easy, but you also dont want to have to rack your brain too much or look up solutions on the net.

In typical Forever Lost stylization, this game is void of any sophistication. Interface is inordinately clunky and the puzzles are so ridiculous and nonsensically frustrating that theyre the antithesis of intelligent. No one would figure out the preposterousness without some sort of walkthrough- incidentally the game is completely void of any hints or clues. Graphics are sloppy and the game is hyper-high contrast dark; objects and doorways lack definition and its difficult to see where or what exactly to click. We find myself just arbitrarily clicking the screen over and over just to find something. Score is pretty stellar though; love the fading music effect from the vinyl playing. Its a shame really, we would LOVE to see the developers stretch some extra miles and create something similar yet with finesse and a keen, refined eye.

We were excited to start this game! The beginning seemed a little long but we figured out if you touch it you can go straight to the house. We went to all four places with no clues or hints. We couldnt figure out where a metal bar was for the trap door. So we went to the gate and thought maybe we needed to pick lock the gate. But then when we watch some walk-throughs on YouTube it showed the mosaic tiles but our tiles cut look completely different than the ones that are on the walk-through. And theyre already put together so we cant move them. Any ideas?

Our god this game is glitchy. Twice now we’ve picked up items and have them disappear in our inventory immediately. We had to start over twice in a 15 minute period.

We really like the story, but some of the scenes were so dark we could not see anything at all and had to go to a walk-thru to see what we had to do. Even doors were completely lost to the poor lighting. If you could see everything this would be a 4 or 5 star game.

Had to play it in the dark to see the images. Also, we tapped certain things (eg broken bottle glass, etc.) without it picking up. But kept doing it a couple dozen times and it finally grabbed it. Game could be fun, but not this iteration.

The game is very well structured. Puzzles take good though to figure out and the sounds and graphics are awesome BUT if you want to finish the game, you have to purchase the rest of it and THAT our friends, is the reason we deleted the game!

This game looked phenomenal but it was so complicated we couldnt even figure out how to start playing it. Next time make it easier at the beginning and progress to harder levels. We deleted it Bc we hit every way into the house and kept gtn excuses on why we couldnt get in… EPIC FAIL designers!!!!!

We have an iPhone 8s+ so we dont see why it wouldn’t work. Couldn’t get past even the trap door because the metal bar wouldn’t work.

We have no idea what Im doing in this game. It has no instructions.

We cannot get past the trap door. We found the metal bar, but if will not let us in. We don’t know if this is a glitch, or maybe our iPad is too old.

This was a good game until we had to pay for the complete thing. We don’t HAVE ITUNES MONEY! If you want people to actually play then maybe make it free all the way through.

We just purchased and the game keeps locking up. Not worth the time.

DONT GET THIS GAME. Its only free for half the game. Then you need to pay three dollars to finish it. Thats garbage.

We were enjoying the game until it prompted us to pay $2.99 to continue. No where did it say this wasnt a complete game when we downloaded it. Beyond that frustration, it isnt always responsive. We were trying to solve puzzles and looked for help when it wasnt working, only to find that we were right but the game wasnt responding. It really wasnt worth the time we spent playing it and we wont be paying for the actual full version.

We just started playing today can somebody tell us how do we get inside the house ? We’ve been on that part for the pass 30 mins.

This seems like it would be a fun game but we cant get thru the beginning to find out. Despite turning the brightness all the way up on our phone, the game is still too dark to play. We did find the light switch and turned it on but even going forward from that point theres just too much that we cant see which leaves us mindlessly and aimlessly tapping on our screen hoping to tap something relevant to the puzzle. Unfortunately, there are no app/game settings that allows you to adjust in game brightness.

We couldn’t get past the stupid trapdoor because "I need a lever, a metal bar would work." So we go and get the metal bar and use it and it says "It’s not working" and "Nothing happens." Don’t try to sell us an app that doesn’t work.
