We love how this game challenges you. Each room is something different! Us & our husband played it like 8-9 years ago & loved it then! Still love it now.
Ive had this game for years and every so often we replay it to see how much Im able to do without having to use the walkthrough (YouTube). We still have to use it from time to time no matter how many times we play it. This is a very challenging game especially because it has no hints or other assistance. This is definitely not a game for the faint of heart. Although it can be extremely frustrating at times we would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a challenge.

Fun escape game but way too short for a paid app. Was shocked when we solved it so quickly.
This was pretty good the graphics vary from middling to some very clever extras that just help the atmosphere a bunch! The story really could use some polish and some of the puzzles were hard to figure out but it was overall enjoyable.
It's a good game, the puzzles are alright and the visuals are pretty good. But it was so quick. There really wasn't much to it. It was about the length and quality of most free room escape games, but it charges money. Save your two bucks.
Ill give this game two stars considering its quite a few years old, but thats still no excuse for the $1.99 atrocity that awaits you. Amidst the plethora of games in this style Ill never understand why the same flaws are never rectified, or at least improved upon. The only redeeming quality this game offers is its short length; lets thank the developers for cutting the time play for this mess. Absolutely dreadful graphics, we mean, horrible. Muddled designs and catastrophically poor color schemes with a complete void of artistic flair. Its difficult even knowing where to click in this high-contrast swamp of crap. The puzzles are mindless and nonsensically irritating. Why the hell would we use a coin for half of those things?? Its a shame really, the developers having a decent level of programming knowledge and awareness of interface but to slap sloppy artwork and crap puzzles and call it complete. We honestly dont mean to be rude; its constructive criticism for we have faith you can turn out way better games than this.
We only got the front door open by pausing the video playing in the description of the game and looked at the symbols highlighted and now we got to the inner room picked up the bear and now im stuck on one puzzle where you shuffle the pieces around and the only way you can get any help is by going on facebook ( failbook to us ) am dissapointed their is no strategy guide in the game ( deleting never to redownload again ) (btw wasn't scared with flashing lightening and two shadows illuminated by said lightening ).

These games are our favorite playing at night , creepy horror but also very trilling and engaging. The instant gratification you get from hard puzzles are addicting. Will be buying the new ones they will be making.

Yes, it is unrealistic that these disjointed puzzles would be all over a mansion for you to solve. It's a game though, and isn't that what games are supposed to do? Make us imagine that we've encountered car problems during the middle of a torrential downpour, to discover a peculiar mansion. Instead of helping ourselves, we take on the task of finding out why this mansion seems to be stuck in time. Discovering the odd and sad story of it's last occupants, and hopefully trying to save them. The game offers many challenges. If you play the brainy version, be prepared for no clues and touching your screen like mad. If you play the easy version, when clicking on a clue a few times you get a good hint or a vague hint as to what you need to find. Overall, one of the best room escape games we've ever played.
This is a fun, legitimately challenging game! You actually have think with some of the puzzles and not just be a good "finder". Wish it was longer.
Awesome with a good story. It was a bit short for us but we still thoroughly enjoyed it. Was not expecting the twist.
Great graphics and well fitting spooky music too! Devs gave much attention to detail and the puzzles and clues are a challenge. Not to the point of pulling your hair out, but not easy either. Some of the one-time triggered messages when entering a new room or completing a step/puzzle seemed to disappear too quickly. A very minor flaw. Thank you for the Halloween treat and offering this for free! Wishing you success with the sequel.
We have really enjoyed the puzzles in this game. So far so good, but we can see that things are getting harder.
We didn't need to pay because we had the app one daily deal it makes the app free download it so you don't have to pay anything at all but it's a great gameby the way we're 8 so our name is grace so don't judge on our words so don't think we're a teenager and think we're so dumb.

This game is a true masterpiece. The graphics are amazing, the sound and music is touching, and it has the true spooky feelings to give nightmares, just perfect for a Halloween game. The game didn't take much memory to download, as we have gotten the entire series. As for the mazes and puzzles, we love it. We won't lie, we had to go on the internet and look up how to get past a small part, mainly when we were captured. Overall, this game is 5/5. -evanax01.
Challenging, beautiful and intelligent.
Only crashed once, but at the most exciting part! It was when we finished the game :D but we launched the app and it worked again flawless . If you don't get the story , Katie came exploring this mansion but then got kidnapped in it ( we think ) and then she got killed and ether thrown next , to, or in some river and the police find her. Then when the game is over , you free her sole from the evil teddy bear spirit that was imrisoning it , but then your sole gets captured…we THINK . Guys this is a great game , and if we made it sound funny or raduclis it's not ! It's a great game you should get it.

Worth the wait…we're a little embarrassed to say that we're stuck on the clock puzzle, can't find the missing piano key, and the candelabra is frustrating us lol.

We like the challenge the game offers. But we've been having a little trouble with the mechanics of maneuvering through the scenes. Not sure if it is on our end or if it may be the software, etc. We've played other Redbit games which we are a fan of this company's games. Would like to see more development and more games. Awesome game! Only wish it was longer.
Stuck in the kitchen trying to open the closet, but the graphics are very well done and the puzzles are not too easy, but fun.
We were able to play this game on both iPhone and IPad. The graphics are great, music is stimulating, puzzles are challenging and the storyline keeps you intrigued. We can't wait for part 2. C'mon DEV TEAM, let's go! :).
This game has a great balance of mystery and excitement along with impending danger as you solve puzzles and find your way around. You keep finding yourself thinking, "Oh no… Where will this take us. On the other hand, we can't wait to see where this takes us!" The game is fun with a perfect amount of creep factor.
