We really enjoyed playing this game, and found the song super cute and catchy! We love this game but we have 1 suggestion you dont have to do it but you could make it multiplayer like when you first join you could either play solo or multiplayer. And if you read it Ty as we said you dont have to do it.
The art style is cute and the characters are cute.
We got this game thinking this will last a while but we finished it in like 3 days because it is soooo good we would recommend to ANYONE that likes playing fun simple but still complicated games like this HAVE FUN.
We love playing this game and the levels are actually pretty challenging sometimes like us Im currently stuck on level 28 so does anyone know how to pass it.

Honestly, we love this game and we really mean it. It was hard on some levels though. We love Heart and Star, theyre silly and cute. Hearts reaction to Star falling was really cute.
(a disclaimer! If you dont like ads, you might not want this game) this is one of the cutest games we got for our iphone! It has these two adorable pixel people and puzzles! Im always pleasantly surprised when a game keeps our attention because we have a short attention span, and this kept our attention for quite a bit. This game is also on the google play store (on android). Like the disclaimer says, there are ads like after 2-3 levels but they are skippable so ya. Its a really cute pixel (and retro?) kinda game. We recommend soo much.
We loooooooooovvve this game because we feel like it describes what a relationship is. You have one without the other. You have to work together. Also its so sad and cute when one of the characters die they look so worried. We enjoy seeing them and we find it funny how we fan girl Heart and Star as a couple. We think they are so cute. We love this game.

10/10 do recommend. Its a perfect single player game to pass the time. Its cute and challenging while not ever feeling impossible. Its definitely a hidden gem and is 100% worth a download.
So we found this game while looking for new games to play and as the 10 year old we are we are downloading any game we like and this was the first game to catch our eye we downloaded it and this is SOOO FUN like there's now alot of ads and we haven't tried it in the car so we don't know if it works without Internet yet but if we find out we'll make another tiny reveiw about it but yea good game thanks game devs.
THIS WAS MY CHILDHOOD GAME. We tried finding this game for months until we found it today, IT'S SO CUTE.
We occasionally play this whenever we decide to take a break from killing stuff in video games (even if its filtered in a way to still make the game child-friendly) and this is the perfect occasion for that! We honestly cant get over the cute designs of the characters and how they both need each other to progress There are a few minor glitches and the structure of the game doesnt leave a whole lot of replay value but the way we play it doesnt necessarily make either of those a problem for us so Im still on our 5-star review -Maasw.
Ive fully completed just about every single game this dev has released, and we didnt think it would be able to top SDD, but man was we wrong! The gameplay is fun, and interesting, especially in the last cluster of levels. Please keep making great games Adventure Islands <3.
For the people who think its hard thats the point its suppose to help you think which way is the right way, but its also a great reliever.

This game is really fun (would give 6 stars if we could) but we have a simple request: a level builder. We really enjoyed beating the levels and we would enjoy making levels too.
The app is very fun But it needs some fixing theres to many ads And it takes a lot of time.

Puzzles are good, its a fun twist and makes for a decent play time. Only complaint is that each puzzle is symmetrical, meaning after you figure out the answer you need to do the same puzzle again, just this time for the opposite character. Makes beating a level twice as long but doesnt actually add any additional puzzle elements or depth. You just do the same puzzle twice.
This game is amazing but there should be some stuff you should add 1. Add more characters! We love heart and star but there are some character ideas we think would be good. Like red orange yellow green Indigo purple violet and brown black white grey or even some skins would be good. 2. Enemies! We want some enemies for you to add like some spikey guys or something 3. More levels! We havent completed the game but some more levels would be nice.
Its an amazing game! Its fun to lose ourselves in the levels and things, but whenever we hit the jump button it literally does nothing Ive caught ourselves pressing it several times without anything happening and please Im on the brink of snapping our phone in half.

This game uses a pixel art style to draw in players with a promise of cute, simple indie game. It cant hide how poorly conceived this game is. The mechanics are boring and lack luster for puzzles. The levels ill designed, lacking any signs of even picking up more complexity for later levels. If you are looking for a platformer game, DO NOT GET THIS! It is essentially a copy and paste of most basic pixel art platformers with no offering of unique mechanics or complex levels.
We absolutely love the game but it will be nice if you can unlock new characters that would be really cool and if you make other games like this because its so CUTE we love it but we think we have an idea on what them the other character could be it could be a planet or a cat or dog or a Alien. But if you do what we said that will be really nice and cool thats it.
We found this game by searching cute games in the App Store and we didnt expect a game to be this good and theres not as many ads as we expected which is perfect some games are just 99% ads but this game is a perfect in between and its a good offline game to play on the bus,road-trips,or even in bed relaxing! Its a cute game with such adorable characters and background! Please if your thinking about downloading it dont waste another second and do it.

This game is really good and cute. This game is also pretty hard and frustrating but it also addicting. Sometimes when we try to jump it dosent let us and we end up dying then having to try again.
We like the game and all, but there is something you could add. A mini smash game. To make the smash game interesting, you could add characters to the game. Heart and Star will already be in the brawl game. The moon symbols inside the game could represent a new character, who has moon powers. This character could be named Luna. She will be unlocked, when the player completes levels 1-10. Luna will then be added to the mini-smash game. The second character will be based on the sun, or light powers, called Solar. He will be unlocked, when the player completes levels 11-20. The third character will be based on the forest, and have plant powers. This character will be called Leaf. He will be unlocked, when the player completes levels 21-30. Now, 2 characters will be watching over Heart and Star, who are villains. They are named Kunai and Shuriken, or Shuri, who will be added at the end of the game. The sixth character, or fourth hero, is a fire princess, named Fiore. She will be unlocked after the player completes levels 31-40. The seventh character, or fifth hero, is a water based character, called Wave. He will be unlocked after levels 41-50 are completed. The eighth and final character, has psionic powers. The girl, who is Penny, basically can make forcefields and become invisible. She will be unlocked after levels 51-60 are completed. Kunai and Shuriken will also be unlocked at this point. You will now be able to play with all eight characters, and do survival mode, and team mode too! Thats all, but besides all of that lore lol, the game is great, and its fun but please make sure to add this, it will make the game a lot more interesting and fun. Thats all, thank you.
We wish there were more levels we just started and Im almost at level 60.
We have to say we really love this game and its a great way to pass time, but it seems that the recent update has reset us back to level 1 when we were on level 31. Our achievement is still there from the game Center but we cant access the levels we have previously completed. Please fix this we would appreciate it.
We absolutely love this game we had it on our old phone and again on our new phone. We absolutely love the style and art and how cute and simple it is yet frustrating at the same time. We were roughly on stage 54 and when we go to play it RESTARTS us back to level one. No we didnt get rid of it and we still have the achichments too so we were extremely confused as to why it wouldnt let us go back to our level. Im so mad because we lost so much progress and it took us a while to get back to level 50+ again because we had gotten a new phone and have had the new phone (current) phone for a while and had the game for a while as well so Im so upset with losing progress for a second time. Just came on to vent ngl but still.

This game is really adorable! Everything from the characters to even the music. Levels are nice and short, making them perfect for a couple of quick games. The menus are very easy to navigate (unlike some other mobile games). However, there is one minor issue. When you try to turn off music and sound effects in the options menu, the buttons don't do anything at all. Other than that, this is a must have if you want a game that doesn't take up much space and isn't resource intensive (which is perfect if you have an older device such as an iPhone 7 and don't want it to get too hot).
The song is so cute and the girl and the boy are so cute together we hope this game gets famous one day! ^^.

This game is so simple, yet so much fun! The levels are always so cute and intuitive. We really enjoy the color and idea of this! The game also takes up a tiny amount of space.
We like this game a lot! We think it would be really cool if the second player could be controlled by a friend on their own phone. This form of multiplayer would be quite entertaining and enjoyable, as well as expanding the interactive aspects of the game. It would require additional communication and team work to achieve the goal, and would also add more of a social aspect to the game. This type of multiplayer can be seen in games like dual. Heart-Star is a very pleasing and hard gameIt makes us mad sometimes because it's too hard to pass but we finished the game!we think Heart-Star should add more levels and characters.Maybe add hints to the game for the player playing can have some help but when you reach a certain level no more hints!we also like the fact that this game doesn't have much ads.If you want to pass time we really recommend this game.
