30 seconds of ads for every 10 seconds of game play. Spoof ads as soon as you start the game.
We breezed through all the main levels and all the mini games in a matter of days. While we’ve been replaying some levels here and there just to kill time, it would be nice if newer and harder levels could be added soon. Overall, though, Im really glad to finally find a mobile game that works as advertised, with no extraneous things forced in our face. Would recommend to people whove been burned out by all the games with false advertising.
After seeing what probably feels like hours of Evony ads showing a game that is nonexistent, we found this. It scratches that itch we need, its smooth, the puzzles are relatively easy while still making us feel like the cogs in our brain are turning. This is literally perfect. As long as you keep making new levels, Im perfectly satisfied. You did what these other games with misleading ads couldnt; actually make us want to play their game. We were so satisfied within 5 levels, we immediately bought the no-ads feature. Thats how much we like it, it was worth it.
On level 118 you can go through one of the walls at the bottom.

Its actually a puzzle game about a hero with pins, lava, water, and gold.
Lots of fun. Not too many ads. Especially enjoy the tower block mode. Wish it was available in other hero rescue games.

After so many ads, we finally have an actual key-pull game! Im so glad Game Theory mentioned this game, we’ve wanted a key-pull game for a long time! Thank you so much for making this! Maybe its just the times getting to us, but its so gratifying to make our little warrior avatar so happy with easy puzzles. <3.
This is actually a great game. The main game is pin-pull type puzzles, and then there are about 4 other series of alternate puzzle games. It is very much like 5 games in one app. And theyre all similar types of puzzles that probably appeal to you if youre into pin pull puzzles. Right now there are 420 levels to the main pin pull series of puzzles. We just beat all of them in the week that we’ve had the app so Im not sure how often new levels are added. Im going through all the other puzzles now.
We found out about this game when researching those duplicitous mobile games that use nonexistent gameplay to lure in buyers. So why not just make that game? There’s clearly demand. This guy did and it definitely delivers. The only problem is the ads in the free release is way too invasive. Banner ads are fine but forcing people to ingest a video to continue playing (which advertised a game of questionable repute, no less) is a bridge too far and crosses over from pay-to-win to "pay-for-fun". We were probably going to pay anyway and $3 is fair for a game like this but we don’t like the method by which it twists your arm.
Amazing, so much fun, but we’ve maxed out on all the levels. Saw there is a version 2 with more puzzles, but its only available on android! Please release version 2 on iOS!
This game delivers the puzzles that the other games advertise with and you find out later there are only a few of them with a bunch of stuff in between. Speaking of advertising we really recommend paying the $3 to remove the adds, it is a very reasonable price and improves the game experience dramatically. Im going with 4 stars because its not perfect and 4.5 stars is not an option. But we will say we didnt hesitate to pay for this game its totally worth the price. We also bought unlimited lives so our kids could play it. At this time this game has over 400+ puzzles of the main style and another 300+ in a couple of other styles. Each puzzle is only a minute or two, so you can finish them quickly if you sit down and play them, maybe 4-6 hours. Take your time and enjoy them. There are so many puzzles, you arent going to memorize the solutions so the replay value is very high. The animations are simple and smooth. The rules are very consistent, each new feature is first shown in its simplest form then combined with everything else you already know. Enhancement requests: *Maybe different scoring on levels based on remaining pins or other skill/efficient solution factors. *Many levels have a little slop in when the win is detected so we’ve had the spider bite the king after he opened the treasure. These levels could probably be reused with tighter constraints as higher difficulty levels. *How about a reset that makes it easier to replay the levels and you dont have to remember the last level you played for the second or third time. * Id like to know that we will get an alert or other indicator on the game when more levels are released. Great game, thanks for making it!
Finally this is the actual pull-pin puzzle game and not one of those fake ones that if you found this game, youve probably already tried those and know what Im talking about. Its not perfect though so Ill go into some pros and cons. Pros: Plays as advertised. Pretty fun. Cons: Not very challenging. (at least not yet) Needs more levels. Note: we havent beat it yet but we’ve played it enough to write a confident review. We usually review after we beat the game but we always end up forgetting. Note 2: Ill change rating to 5-Stars when more challenging levels are added.
Coming off of Countmaster, Pull Him Out, and Evony; Hero Rescue is the lesser of all evils. Instead of there being an ad every level; it’s 1 in 3. They’re generally not longer than 5-10 seconds either. Furthermore; the puzzles aren’t terribly taxing yet; but we can appreciate a game that does what it says on the tin without wasting TOO much of our time with ads.
This game is great for all the good reasons. Its kind of a hero in its own right. But the developer appears to have abandoned the app. No notch support for the iPhone 12 Pro Max at least. No new content. Its a shame too.

Its an interesting game simple and fun but there are ads like every two seconds.
The game says its 4+, so Im cool with our kids playing it. However, there are ads for lots of violent and sensual games that are just not okay! Even straight up Playboy ads! We’ve reported and tried to block as much as possible, but it does nothing. This is ridiculous and therefore why we are having to delete an otherwise good game.
It just ok really ez buts its ok. Not a 5 star.
It seems right after we paid for the game and we hit level 400 the game ended yet is says more levels are coming. Months have passed, still no new levels. Thats very disappointing.
It is pull the pin as advertised. The downside is that the levels are solved in 5 seconds and then the ads are a minute long between levels. Ads are overkill.
The puzzles in this game are absurdly easy. We kept playing expecting it to get easier, but after 10-15 minutes and 75+ levels, they just kept staying boring. We think maybe 2-3 of them made us stop and think for a second, only to find a solution right after. Also there are too many ads and no real progression. We only made it that far into the game by going in data and disabling the apps data access.

The game is what it says, but the ads are excessive. More than half your time is spent on ads. Im willing to watch an ad for help or power ups, but ads that arent at all voluntary are just annoying. Yet another app deleted.
Like every game in the App Store anymore this is simply a pretty fun game you play 3 levels at a time while ads run constantly. Doubt Ill play much longer. Just too many ads.
The small texts. Too hard to read. Eye strain. Too simple! L have to play many levels for IQ way below 100. Too boring after 25 levels. More ads than play.
Fun game but you get more ad time than playtime. Feels as though its meant to harass you into a purchase to stop them.

The levels are that challenging, this game will give you something to do if you are sitting in a waiting room, or if you need to look busy. The ads are out of control, (but thats the point to get you purchase the no ads sale) if they stepped the challenges this game would be a blast!

Im convinced the developer has scrapped this project. No new levels in over a year. We paid for ads to be removed as well which stings more. The game is too easy, but it was a fun tool to take our mind off of things when we needed a break. Its unfortunate that the developer sold a lot of people on this game by promising new levels weekly and then just bails. If you download this game dont waste your money clearing the ads since there doesnt appear to be any future for this app.

This game is nothing but ads. You hit one almost every other puzzle. The puzzles themselves are are so stupidly easy that you wind up spending more time watching ads than you do in game. Im 100ish puzzles into the 400 some as of this review and have yet to spend more than 10 seconds per puzzle. We certainly wouldnt pay real money for this snooze fest.
The game is a fine puzzle game for kids. It has gentle challenges for beginners. The ads shown do not match the games age rating. The game would be good for kids but the ads are for adults only.
Newest update doesnt have any new levels. Says they update daily but its more like every 4-5 months.
Obnoxious ads. Long ads constant ads that direct you to the App Store and play long videos with a skip button that doesnt work deleted in less than three minutes. Dont waste time. Too bad always wanted the puzzle game but not like this. Dont waste your time.
Finally the game thats like all those clickbait advertisements! Its entertaining, the ads arent too bad and it holds our attention. Looking forward to more variations of the same games. Like a tropical version, city version, etc. Oh when you watch an ad for double coins, you still get the normal amount. Fix that & youre welcome.
We like the concept and execution of this game. We have enjoyed each of the game modes. Even the IQ test is zany and hilarious. The ads, though showing up after every other completion, are quick to skip through. Would love to see new levels, and increased difficulty!
This is actually the game from all those other ads that are fake. This one is the real deal. Actual pin pulling puzzles straight up. No BS.

We like the game but, there hasnt been an update for quite some time. No new levels when promised every week is highly disappointing.
We were so happy someone finally made one of these pull the pin games. But this was clearly someone wanting to make a quick buck capitalizing on those other games falsely advertising them. No real challenge. Some of them you’d have to try to fail at. Hoping a better one comes along.
So somebody finally put together a game based on the misleading ads of other games, then STUFFED IT FULL OF ADS!!! This is exactly the time of amateur garbage tactic Id expect from a No star game. You get two because the game is slightly above meh. GET RID OF SO MANY ADS!! We watch more than we play.
