Enemies are made to be as annoying as possible, so you are forced to play in a specific manner with specific units that counter the enemy units. As a result, certain levels are extremely awful to play. However, there is a ton of fun to be had so we recommend everyone at least try it.
Its hard to find good mobile games to play offline and by far this game and the 1st one are great games by far offline and online! We appreciate you guys for making the games and all the hard work put into it! We played the first game like 6 years ago and we still play it until this day. Wished this game could have got the love and money it deserved because it was a masterpiece.
Heroes and Castles 2 is a fantastic game to play. You have a main castle to defend while also having to conquer outposts to eventually take down the enemies main castle. You get so much customization options in your heroes, and can develop many strategies with certain heroes/units against certain enemies. You can also choose what research you want to use that you would benefit the most in what you are facing off against. We’ve had many accounts on this game and never got bored. This game is truly amazing. The issue is: lack of gameplay updates. We believe that once you enter New Game + that you should be able to see some brand new enemies. As for the heroes, it would be nice to see a new race and/or skill tree for each hero. Maybe have them utilize some weapons in the game that are not currently used by any hero. For example: the Scythe. Maybe have a new dwarf skill tree that is a miner who would utilize the pick-axe. This is an amazing game. Would recommend people to give it a try to tell friends about it. As for the devs, many people would like to see a new update. 5 STARS.
We’ve put in some hours on this one! Havent been able to play the online features but have had a good amount time in with the single player campaign. We absolutely LOVE that you can create different characters (races and classes) and have them all fight in the battle with the character you choose to play as out of the lot of them. Cheers to the devs and keep it coming!
The game looks better than ever! Glad to see one of our favorite games get some love. Hope to see a third game one day!
We’ve been playing this games for years and if theres one thing that we dont like is that you cant customize your armor or clothes. Your stuck with the randomized armor set/ weapons they give you and Id wish they changed that. Id like to make our heroes be in uniform, it looks cool when they are.
If you have another hero like it here with a shield you can use heroes to do many things like siege towers and have them help you in battle but out of everything even the units dont have this ability everybody on your side will have a shield well most of them they cant even use them. Shoes are useless at that point the enemy team knows how to use one handed sword to block shields to block for some reason our team does not possess the knowledge to even lift up the shield to block a singular arrow it ruins strategic planning sometimes even great losses.
Game is actually kinda fun. Airplane mode helps avoid ads while flying, but as soon as we landed, the ads got crazy. The second you open the app, you are hit with ads. Immediately deleted the app. Would probably have paid a couple bucks to keep playing every once and a while, but have to watch ads to even look for the option (if there is one).
Ads are long and unskipable. Please add a feature to disable them. We would rather the app have a price than be littered with ads. Maybe just add a purchase option in the currency store that disables them to keep the app accessible to those who wouldnt pay.
We’ve only played this game for two days and its bad we give them credit for trying but would not recommend within wave five the enemy is overpowering and you cant win battles Im not hard is a problem but this is stupid hard and its a game where you have to spend money to be good at it Its not a good game.
We loved this game, and we’ve always thought it needed an update. Some quality of life updates is nice too. Well, you delivered.. And you clearly broke something! *********************************** First- the "movement" area sometimes glitches out and rather than move our character it moves the camera. ************************************ Second- the camera clips into your walls more often making it hard to see. ************************** Third and more importantly- RANDOM PARRIES OUT OF NOWHERE. Doesn’t matter what enemy you’re attacking, there’s now a bug where you’ll get blocked/parried even if the enemy is normally incapable of doing so or doesnt have armor. Happens with almost all enemies. ************* Fourth- knockback has been dialed up to 200x. If we block a giant with a shield, it will FLING us across the field. Sure, we don’t take damage cause we blocked it, but now we have to spend 30-40 seconds running all the way back to our walls. ******************* Fifth- the AI seem way more stupid than usual. Like the AI has always been dumb, like attacking the wrong enemies (like fire wizards not attacking the high health enemies and oddly choosing some middle tier enemy. Or they won’t coordinate and attack the same enemy as a pathfinder, meaning wasted damage potential) or being unable to hit a target they’re SUPPOSED to be able to hit (ahem, siege archers vs wall units), but it was always somewhat manageable and you could always work around it. Now it’s just worse. And before if an enemy got hit, they usually stop and attack whatever hit them. Well now sometimes they ignore hits and keep killing your precious bannermen at all costs. What’s he point of footsoldiers then if they get ignored? Another thing, what’s up with Dwarven miners adamantly REFUSING to kill ranged units unless it’s the LAST thing in the field. Like mission 19, they’re really great against the Rocketeers, but then they’ll ignore the musketeers because a "siege" unit is present. Ranged units should be priority number two after rocketeers. They should go Rocketeers-> Catapults-> ranged units-> THEN armored melee siege units. Cause what happens is they’ll slowly walk BEHIND the enemy siege units wasting time and damage potential, meanwhile we’re getting pelted by musketeers that we DESPERATELY need them to target. Like obviously you can use shield knights to get around this but it’s just super frustrating to see units do braindead things and waste valuable time when they’re needed elsewhere. Also, why does MY ground ranged units move TOWARDS an enemy that they can’t hit rather than move left or right to get a clear shot, while enemy ranged units DO THAT WITH NO ISSUE. Sometimes our elven hunters will shoot at a hill and not realize that they actually can’t hit the enemy. Makes 0 sense, all of it.************************* The game is just so incredibly frustrating, we honestly preferred it before the update. Maybe you didn’t intend to do anything to the game mechanics but something has definitely broke and we’re considering deleting the game. It’s not worth our sanity (I also have like 5 high level characters with all godly equipment. We’ve played the game for a long time and know how to play. We’re positive you guys broke something). ******************************** UPDATE: The more we play the more we realize that the armor system is just broken. Enemies with 0 armor like goblin warriors are somehow blocking attacks. Even having higher armor piercing than an enemies’ armor does no good, as the enemy will still have an absurd number of blocks (like 15 AP bow vs 5 ARM Orc Archer). You guys really need to release an update fixing this. It’s annoying to shoot/attack the same enemy 15 times knowing very well that he should not be blocking this frequently (or at all if our AP is higher). Another thing, the beastiary info is SO inaccurate, with enemies having 2-3x the health or damage than it says it does. Please update that as well.
We would love to see a new race or two. Orc or an undead that defected to the hero side. Orc can be a shaman, brutal fighter, and an undead can be a necromancer, death knight, and so on. We already those are in the game but as a playable race with three different types of classes to play them as would be amazing. The game is truly underrated and needs to be shown more to people, its awesome. Granted though, multiplayer is basically impossible with the few to no players playing it nowadays, and trying to get the extra equipment at the end of a battle is also impossible. Other than those two kinks, the game is truly one of a kind, and we would really love to see a few more races added, please.
The people writing bad reviews expect an extremely easy game with no challange whatsoever. This game gives you a pretty good amount of crystals for defendings and capturing outposts and whatnot. There are toms of ways to get them. And as for the armored skeleton knights, a footmen/pikeman/wood elves is a great combo to use. Im only mentioning that unit specifically because somene else had trouble with it. This game is amazing and is sure to bring you hours upon hours of fun. You will die a fair amount of times but thats just the nature of the game. It doesnt exactly punish you for dying so if you do, just go capture and defend some out posts for some crystals.
We like the game its fun and is easy to kill time but we ran in a issue that if we say yes for a free item the game crashes but after the add can you please fix this.
Becuse we deleted it we feel dumb nor stupid every feels stupid once a while and we feel stupidity right now becuse we deleted it our mistake its not the creators fault its our fault.

We love this game and we still play it to this very day but you know how u could be evil in heroes and castles 1? If yes can you put that in heroes and castles 2? It would really be fun.
The first H&C was decent. But this one is amazing. Smooth easy to use controls and game play. The graphics are easy on the eyes and look really good and the overall set up of th enamel is amazing. How ever maybe add a few more choices for your hero other than dwarf, elf, and human. And maybe add more skills to. Other than that its amazing.
Its a great game we’ve put hours and hours into this little game but it gets to the point where you just cant get through unless you buy crystals to upgrade everyone. Like the siege Im on is of the city so we can just go around it and its orc after orc after orc and we just cant do anything about it we try we try try different tactics but nothing and we’ve even bought crystals to try to get past it. No. It doesent work.
This game is (in our opinion) better than the first one. For us this game is quite a challenge but still fun.

Its old and needs some updates but its by far one of the best games we’ve played.
Fantastical game. Both 1 and 2 were really entertaining games. This one at first, is really challenging, but once you learn that this game focuses more on defending with ur troops versus ur hero, thats how it differs from number one, then youll start to get the hang of it. The elves and horse riders in our opinion are absolutely sick. The graphics are lot better too. Now Im just waiting for a third game cmon developers, we WANT A THIRD.
Our game has crashed multiple times due to the amount of units the enemy has recently our game crashed because there was 90 or more orc archers raining hell on us and every unit we spawned in also the amount of health the orcs have is a little absurd.
Fun game not seening notifications for this game would like to on our lock screen and need update to save data pls we have alot unlocked.

Nothing new to be said, we’ve been playing with friends for years. Would love for new weapons, classes or even buildings to be added.
Please put in bosses or huge monsters because we enjoy boss fights after battle the thrill of dodging huge attack is amazing This game is cool already but putting a dragon or giant would be amazing. Plz.
We love this game. It is well made, and it doesnt shove ads in your face constantly. We’ve had it for a few years and its still entertaining.

This game has good progression, without being super demanding. Some games require you to constantly be playing in order to be any good, but you can just hop on whenever and improve you character.
So, when we started playing this game, we were so hyped, but why the difficulty is increased by one. Im on wave 6 and the difficulty is 6 and how YouTubers get golden or cool weapons? The graphics is better than H&C and we havent played it yet, we looked at the pics, H&C has Gameloft graphics.

This is the best game in the world but can it have Knights too,goblins and skeletons but it is the best game in the world! We love the challenges! This Game is Extremely Fun, we totally recommend this game to other players just now starting to learn about Foursaken Media. However we would change a few things about this game, So Ill list the things we like and things we would like to add to this game or Heroes and Castles 3. What we like: The Fact that you can mix and match your character to be a half paladin half warrior or a half warrior half mage or half berserker half engineer. You can actually give your character your own weapons, So you can change the armor and give your character a spear or daggers or a shield, and the runes are there too! We like the fact that you can raid the undead castle/Scarwood Keep, and raid outposts. Its one of the things keeping us in the game. What we would add: we wish you could choose to be the enemy side, and have a skill tree and all of that. We wish there was more units, and a Corte Version like in the first one, Like for hardcore Players. We wish there were Buildings like in the First edition, Like to upgrade the footmen, But then again we have indestructible Cannons and Ballistas, And Research replaces the buildings. Overall, This is a very fun game, Would Show to our friends. We wish it would be updated more though, Still a Great Game.
