Heroes crack. Too addicting. Update: If you dont pay to play, you will not be any good. We understand its a business for Ucool, but the game has removed some good features just to make money.
After installing the latest update from ucool for Heroes Charge, the game would not recognize the update. It continually told us when opening the game that a new version is available in the App Store. When it redirected us to the update, it did not give an option to download because it had already been done. Our only option was to select open; which when pressed redirects you back to the game. At that point there is nothing to do and Heroes Charge freezes of the loading screen. Very disappointed. You would think they would trouble shoot these updates before rolling them out & licking out their customers.
We have a question, why our cash data (214mb) downloaded again and again every time when Im open the game?
Developers have become extremely greedy in the past few months with price for new skins ranging from $200 – $400. If you have plenty of cash burning a hole in your jeans, this is the game for you. If you are just looking for a fun game where you dont have to be a big spender, look elsewhere.
We have to wait 5-10 minutes waiting for the download for like the last 4 weeks. Stop with all the updates if it make consumers unlikely to download it.
As this title implies this is a pay to win, RNG based game which takes very little skill. Very slow game at the start. Paying for coins to buy characters is all RNG based and some one star characters are overpowered compared to even three to five star characters.
And the rating would be higher.
This used to be a really good game, but with the last updates it has become a pay-to-win or pay to keep up. This is no longer fun.
The game says there is an update in the App Store, but then the App Store does not have the update available. This happens way too often.
This game requires you to spend money! We think around vip 11 is minimum if you want to just ok player. VIP 11 is around 2000.00 dollars. VIP 15 is 5000.00 dollars and thatll make you a decent to good player. It really is all about the money in this game. Some strategies and tactics but mostly money. If you have deep pockets play this game. If you are on a tight budget stay away. Good luck.
Would give it 0 stars if possible, expect to get kicked off every 5 minutes if not sooner. These developers are terrible. Maybe one of these years they will come close to mediocre.
Dont bother unless youre willing to dump literally hundreds of dollars into this thing to buy the best heroes, open chests, etc. Players who dont spend, spend, spend are at a massive disadvantage.
Love the game play and strategy but this is a pay to win game. Its a game that you will need to afk a lot and be patience with otherwise you will need to spend money. Most strong players been playing for 2-3 years now or theyre spending $100 every couple of days.
We continue playing this game and really enjoy it. We wish we could give it more stars. Unfortunately, the game crashes constantly. Today’s update is making it crash each time we try a grand challenge. There are only so many times we are willing to restart the game! Also, why is it that we were on version 83 and suddenly it jumped to 85. From past experience we . Know that there is no customer support at all.
We guess the game was updated again, but it wont let us download the game, keeps giving an error failure to update.

Overall very happy with layout and play of the game. Every so often they will release an update that makes the game not able to load, but that hasn’t happened in many, many months.
The support for this game doesn’t exists! If you get a response it is in broken English that makes no sense and has nothing to do with the request you just submitted.
These people will take your money for the purchase of cards but will not activate the cards nor will you receive your gems… They will not respond to help you… They are low life thieves…. Plain and simple…. Thieves.
We’ve been playing the game over a year and spent hundreds of dollars- VIP 12. When we got a new phone and sent a message to support about getting our account on our new phone, they wiped the whole thing even from the original device. 2 weeks later and theyve given our account to an imposter because of our mistake and now hes playing it and ucool is showing no urgency at all to resolve the issue. They are so incompetent they asked Whats wrong with it when we sent screenshots proving the person playing our account is an imposter. As of writing this review, the issue is still unresolved. Dont ever reach out to support. They will make sure you regret it.
A great game at first, but the enjoyment has been slowly killed off by the developer. We are levels 107 and 106 on two servers, but have decided to quit after 3 years due to the decline of game quality. Good luck if you try this one, folks!
Loading the app sends us to App Store for latest update, but the update was already loaded and after pressing open again it hangs on the load screen.
Seems that latest update is locked. Can you resolve this issue?
Every time there is an upgrade we cant open the game for a few days. We go to the application center and the icon says open. So we click on it and it sends us back to the game. The game just stalls. What the hell!!!!!! Its happened to us three or four times.
Been playing a game we hate to love since day one. What it all comes down to is the insane amount of money you must spend to even kinda compete in this game. If you have $250-$450to blow a month and have been doing that for the last year you may be a TOP 150 contender. We know a Top 50 spends 2K a month so come on. The monotonous farming to get gear is boring AF. Sit at Level Caps for over a year at time. Since only investing about $50 bucks a week for the last few months… Lets say our name no longer exists on any Leader Boards!
We really like this game because you have the opportunity to create heroes and fight with them. Also game keeps improving and updates make it more fun.
Game is fun. Daily task level progression is entertaining not totally time consuming. The current addition of it war of gods leaves people quite aggravated. Quite apparent developers have failed. Are are trying to slow or keep people from rewards at end of it. Matches are set to fail from start. Game decides whether it wants you to win. Nothing you can do to change it. As in all competition based apps it comes down to who spends the most. Or how much the developers can weasel out of you. Be advised you can play. But same as all others if you don’t spend your just meat.
We havent spent a dime on this game, and have managed to still do pretty well. However, a few characters completely ruin the game, as all the stuff that costs money is way better than the stuff you can get for free. Obviously no one is going to put this much effort into a game to just provide everything for free, but the amount of money it takes just to play a game on your phone is pretty ridiculous once you get to higher levels and want to continue to play. Im not interested in dumping a couple hundred bucks a month just to be competitive in a phone game, and thats what it boils down to. Its a great game though, just dont get too attached.
We honestly hate that we cant get our old account because we got a new phone and we didnt link the device which is stupid if you connected game center to it but not facebook. Honestly so dumb. Other than that the game is fun and enjoyable.
Every time we try to play for the last 2 Days the game tells us to go to the App Store to update, but when we do, update is not available, only open and when we open the game from the App Store it loads the slash screen but will not go further so we can play the game. We have missed 2 days of signing in and its frustrating, fix it!
We were looking for an alternative to CoC before it went downhill to diversify our game time. It took us a while to start enjoying the game. Despite the drama about the developers, we enjoy it very much. We also enjoy the events that open as you gain exp levels. We have spent some money on the game and thought it was worthwhile. Overall it is a good game you can plan solitary although we recommend you join a guild to help with experience points and other loot. More than 2 years later, we still enjoy this game. New content and new hero’s help keep the excitement going. Join a guild to experience everything. On year 3 of playing, still our go-to game for events and activity, we enjoy it and we play with a great group of adults from around the world.
We remember playing this game when it first came out with lightning master and admiral. Wind master was thousands of times better and so was succbuius. Sniper was crap but still was cooler. Deleted it after 10 seconds. Dont download this game.
We’ve been playing this game since pretty much to beginning and we have taken time to train an upgrade our characters, spent a bunch of money on monthly and weekly and even annually diamonds, they started adding new characters which is great, but if you don’t spend even more money to buy them, then the 1 new character can beat our whole team of 5, we’re done with this game and we wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.
Good distraction but like all F2P games; no gem buying equals hard to be top player.
This is one of the more addictive games we have played. Plan on spending $100US per month if you really want to be competitive. It is frustrating to spend so much on the game and still have lower rated players defeat you (e.g. Level 83 player can sometimes defeat a Level 105 player). Simply said: this game is nothing more than a money pit. Buyer beware :-)
The game starts out has fun. They have entirely too many heroes. What the devs should of done is build upon a select few heroes to make the new content fun.
Updates lock you out for days… Then team you were with throw you out after 3 years of paying for a monthly fee we give up on u cool.
Bunch of 30 year olds cursing out 12 year olds. Boring and repetitive.

EDIT: Over two years and still a fan. They are surpassing themselves monthly. We’ve even gotten our Husband addicted. We have been playing for several months and find this RPG holds our attention. They continue to improve and add new features on a consistent basis. This turn based game has set the bar for other games as far as we’re concerned. So pleased we found it.
Good game not really required to pay any money but dam its a grind halberd master too strong.

Heroes charge is a super fun, and we love the design and attributes of each hero. We play on the iPhone, so it’s different than on the iPad. On the iPad there are 8-10 different soul stones you can buy in the crusade, guild, arena, and probably grand arena, we don’t know yet. We’re two levels away from unlocking it. On the iPhone there’s only 3 or 4 hero’s soul stones you can buy at each of those places. Can you please change it to where iPhone has the same soul stones available as the iPad. Great game! :)
You need to spend real money to be relevant. Otherwise, you will never be able to compete. You will need to spend a minimum of $500 to even be an average player. Trust us… We’ve spend over $1000 of our real money and we can’t even crack the top 200 players or even show up on any charts. Wasted time and real money.
