Hear from the Players – Hexcells Infinite Reviews

Find out what gamers are saying about Hexcells Infinite:

The music and clean presentation make this game tremendous fun to play. We played dozens of puzzles just to hear the differences in music themes.

This is a great game. Our son and we play this game all the time. Sometimes one of us hits a puzzle that was much more difficult than the others and we would like to share it to see how quickly the other could have solved it. Unfortunately, it doesnt provide that option.

Basically minesweeper plus sudoku. Pretty great!

We play this all the time. Problem: when using the random board option, the board # is shown then, and once the board is COMPLETE, but not DURING the game. So if you get stuck, you cant write down the board # and come back to it later. Even giving up doesnt help: Exit doesnt show the board # either. Note that OTHER versions on other platforms do not have this issue. Just add a display, either on the main playing screens or on the MENU display.

We love this game, but part of the draw is the user levels and the option of easy/hard for the random puzzles. This loses a lot of replayability due to the loss of those features.

Beautiful game. This is the only puzzle game we never get tired of. Though there seems to be a small bug while you are in the clear tiles mode. When you tap a row guideline or a selectable blue tile, the number is selected but the guideline or area marker doesnt appear. However it works perfectly while in the mark tiles mode. Also you can only deselect a guideline in the mode you originally selected it in. Otherwise it is perfect. Wish there was a way to play on the iPhone. Love supporting this developer, everything he makes is pure joy.

On the PC version you can left or right click to mark a cell. On mobile you must toggle back and forth. PLEASE include a feature to press and hold to mark a cell (like in minesweeper) so that you dont have to toggle every time you want to switch. It interrupts the gameplay. Also please make the random level generator have an easy and difficult setting like on the PC.

A timeless puzzle game that we’ll enjoy for years to come. Can’t recommend it enough.
