We loved this game. After completing Hidden Folks we started searching for a similar game and found this one. The reviews kind of threw us off, but we didnt experience any of the glitches that other people complained of. Its definitely shorter than we would have liked, but that could just be because we loved it so much and really wanted more levels/maps. We even paid the extra money for the Viking maps, which we especially loved. We just found a section in the menu that lets you play user-created levels though, which is exciting because it adds some extra content! We just love the game, bottom line! Hopefully someday they add another map or two. Or three.
We wish we could play for longer then a few minutes. We love the game but it freezes and glitches too much on our iPad. Most of the time, we cant even open it on our iPad. Tried deleting app and re-download, but to no avail.
We absolutely love this game but it keeps crashing when we try to play online maps. Please fix!!!
Although a little racist in the western themes, the game was fun. But really? Thats it? We know it wasnt an expensive game, but the few levels this offered should have been a free version with ads. When paying for a game, we dont want to finish and complete all the levels within 4 total hours of game play. Now we can clear our progress and start over? Give more for paid games, this is why people always choose the free versions.

Paid, downloaded, started it up. It crashes before even reaching the title screen. Have done everything we can think of to fix (re-downloaded, re-updated our system, etc). Its a shame. Was really looking forward to playing.
Throughout the 4-5 hours it took us and our wife to play through this game together we found ourselves consistently smiling at all the subtle details of the levels, clicking various items to see what noises they would make or how they would react, and just temporarily losing ourselves in these small but lovingly crafted levels. This game could be beaten in a couple hours if you are only going from start to finish but we highly recommend savoring the small details.
Our new favorite game. Adorable, challenging, and charming. Well worth the small cost. Are there plans for an update with new areas?
Challenging without being frustrating. Was missing Hidden Folks and this is a really good/fun alternative! Well worth the small price.
The graphics are fuzzy/pixelated when you zoom in. Nice artwork, but sadly lacks some polish. The price is very reasonable, but was expecting something closer to Hidden Folks in quality. Still a great, fun game and glad we purchased it. Hopefully future updates will improve the graphics clarity for the iPad mini 5 when you zoom in.
The game is kinda racists towards Native Americans. When you tap a white person, they make human noises. When you tap a Native American, they make ooga booga noises. Theres also a white woman who needs saved from them, and its suggested that blowing up dynamite right next to the chief would make them go away. Umm… Finger placements while tapping is pretty iffy, too. There are times when our taps activate something that Im obviously not touching. The game reuses hidden objects a lot. We wish the devs wouldve put some more thought into it and created different hidden objects for every level.
We loved Hidden Folks and so we were excited to see that there was a similar hide and seek game with all of the cute quirkiness of HF. But then we got to the old west levels. Look, we get that the developer is from Belgium and likely only ever old westerns concepts of what Native Americans being murderous savages, instead of the true history that we understand here, in the United States. But cmon, its 2020 for petes sake, and with the availability of thousands of resources across the internet, we have come to know better that racist stereotypes are not funny or cute. Theyre damaging to actual people whos families suffered for generations because of them. We sincerely hope that the developer does some much needed self-educating and removes these levels under future updates.
We have to agree with others who have noted problematic aspects of the games treatment of Native Americans, e.g., the native attack and saving the white woman, as well as the sound effects when tapping on characters. For a game designed for users aged 4+, its really something the developers should consider changing in a future update.
Keeps crashing during the Market level in the middle ages.
We were having fun, until the old west scenes came up. Native Americans only said stereotypical nonsense. It made us really uncomfortable every time we clicked on a native person. And some of the items had racist hints.
UPDATE: developers responded to issue quickly. Thanks! Will update if needed after playing. Looks great so far! Kees crashing on iPad Air when selecting story mode.

It almost reminds us of search game in two dots, but we like the scripted hints that are given. 10/10 for us, we enjoy the satisfaction of getting through a tough level and then getting a breather lol.
We saw this accused of racism so we bought it. Its a fun game and isnt harmful or offensive to anyone, unlike condescending white liberalism.
We LOVE all of these puzzles.. And we are HOPING there will be more new challenges. We’ve played each game LOTS of time. So many Im beginning to remember where things are hidden. Love all the sound effects. Appreciate the tips .. And we want MORE!!
- Kinda copied off hidden folks. You didnt even do a good job copying! 2. The in app purchases are a little much. 3. The hints are not very good. We couldnt find something in level 2. Level 2!!!!! Other than that the game is great.
We love hidden through time and was very excited to see the pirate and Aztec storyline. We were not able to purchase the pirate storyline as every time we hit purchase, nothing happened. Now we have the Aztec storyline however it seems to be frozen and will not work. We shut the app down & turned our phone off/on and it will not work. Can the developer please help?
We purchased the Aztec story, but we cant play it. The screen opens to the timeline and is just stuck. The screen will not scroll and no buttons will click. We cant purchase the Pirate story at all. It asks us if we want to purchase it, we click yes, and nothing happens. We have the newest update.
This is our favorite app! Who would have thought connecting the dots couple be so fun?? They have a search and find mini game that we are super obsessed with (Im hoping they come out with an app just for that)!!
If you are a Hidden Folks fan like us, you will enjoy this game too. We dont know if its a knockoff of HF, but it is less refined and a little more crude. Just know that it doesnt come up to the level of HF. That said, its still a lot of fun and we gave it 5 stars because we cant give it 4.5. The hidden objects are often very obscure and sometime dont make sense in context. Animation is good but sound is limited. Hints are good. Theres also too much duplication of the hidden objects – multiple exact copies. We think we have found more objects by accident than by searching, which is frustrating. Because HF is no longer making updates, this game is all there is left of this type and quality of hidden objects games. Enjoy.
We’ve only been playing for a few days, but we love this game! It is so relaxing. We hope they keep making new levels.
We played Hidden Folks then found this game. The developers are awesome and these games are fun!
Please please please please make a 1930 pack called the old time story. Needs props ( and characters) like this! : cop, : chef,: old building 1,2,3,4,5,and 6, : old studio, shop 1,2,3,4,and 5, : industrial factory 1,2,3,and 4, : hotel 1,2,3, and 4 ( also add the movies) : old cars 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8, and 9, : diner 1,2,3,4,5, and 6, : investigator, : fireman (And firewomen), : taxi driver (look at old car 4), and people, Also props. Make it and we will make a five star!
Exactly what we were looking for without a bunch of ads required to move through the levels. Super relaxing- cant wait for more levels to be added!
Love this game, really like the fact it isnt timed, that way if we get interrupted we dont lose things.
We love this game! We’ve purchased it on Steam, Xbox, and now the App Store. Artwork is great and we’ve found myself humming the music throughout the day. Relaxing and fun. Better than Hidden Folks because its in full color and we dont feel like Im going to go blind looking at it. The main game and the DLC are reasonably priced.
We absolutely LOVE this game! Our only problem is that we want MORE new challenges! Wish there were MORE of these !
Game is designed great. However when trying to create our own map, there are too many glitches that we just gave up in the end. Please make this option more user friendly.
This game is so much fun! It is challenging yet not impossible. Love the color graphics and the ability to zoom in on the landscape. However, the icons are far too small to see, and we havent found a way to see them larger.

The Native Attack level is not cool. Happy we could skip it. Not sure why anyone thought that was a good idea. Very disrespectful toward Native people.
We changed our rating from a higher one down to three stars because even though its a fun game and we really like it, the touch detection is a little off. Alot of times Ill try tapping an object only to have something thats somewhat close by react to it. Not a huge problem, as the objectives always react when you find them, but in the some areas it gets pretty frustrating – especially the denser areas.
Fun game, but the expansion packs are expensive for what you get. And yeah, the Native American/Cowboy section is offensive.
We really liked this game, had it on our phone & iPad. It was worth the money Especially when youre traveling & need to kill time & relax. Unfortunately after an update it automatically shuts down in us. Is there another update to fix this?
Id love to give this game a higher rating but it wont load on our iPad Air. Im running iOS 12.5.4 and it wont go past the developers screen. It works on our iPhone but we cant appreciate the details on a screen that small.
We expected more than an hour worth of play for a game that cost $3.
At first we loved this game, until we got through all the levels in half a day only to discover that they force you to pay more and more for each new map. Stupid and a waste of money. You should buy once and have access to all the different maps when theyre so easy and quick to get through.
We found this game by watching Youtube, and it was published on steam. This game has simple UI but not for iPhones. Just looks like we are playing remote PC game interface with this game. Too small buttons and texts to play online. Reasonable price for searching really well hided objects. Something other taste of Hidden Folks. Hope developer should be improved interface.
We will gladly pay 99 cents for hours of fun without ads. We have enjoyed this game so much, and we hope the designers will keep adding content so we can continue the fun.

We decided to purchase this game once we read that you can create your own levels. Just that fact alone makes it almost limitless with the amount of levels you can make or download from other players. Plus always loved Find Waldo when we were a kid so this brings back memories.
We love this game! It is not like other hidden object games where the items look like they are placed on top of a scene, these objects are completely integrated. The sound effects are super cute, and we like that we can see inside the buildings. We would like more levels please!
This game (and, in fairness, Hidden Folks) will Not leave you feeling like you just wasted a chunk of your time… Rather, youll play this game smiling throughout! And youll be playing with an appreciation of the creators artwork, imagination, sense of humor, and well… Creativity! The searches are challenging and fun.. And we honestly couldnt wait to start all over when we were finished, and tackle the entire search anew. Its easy to jump in and out whenever you want, to save your progress, and to play for however long you choose. In short, Get this game, and tell Em we sent you :):)
We love the map editor but the making a person follow a double point rout is broken. The copy button doesnt make things easier either because the original object needs to stay selected. This game would be a 6 out of 5 stars if those issues were fixed.
