The title says it all. After the initial intro cut scene the game goes into a load screen and just hangs there.
For in-game assistance, dont go to Setting / Support. Go straight to Discord. Fellow gamer support and Soren are a big help!
Thus game is really fun do not give up on this super fun ten out of ten.
This game has hit the perfect mark for our taste. Realistic communication chatter, great graphics, and fun fleet engagements. The only bug we have run into is that the sound cut out inexplicably today. The game is still fun without the sound, and our wife probably enjoys not hearing the explosions, but the audio is so great, we really miss it. We deleted and reloaded the game, but still have the same problem. Hoping for a fix.
This game is amazing. We’ve been playing for a few hours and we love it. The story is great. The gameplay is fun, and the options are neat. We know we can buy stuff, but we havent been prompted or ask to buy anything yet. Im so glad this game isnt chopped up by timers and nonsense micro transactions.
We are very happy with this game. The Devs are working diligently to improve this game every major patch. In our opinion, to many players look for the perfect game for themselves. The amount of time and effort to make a quality game is difficult and time consuming. We applaud the Devs that stride to do the best they can despite the annoying selfish, and ungrateful peanut gallerys whining comments. This game can be played totally free which is nice. The graphics are awesome and stunning to look at. The game is really fun to play as well. Try it out, if you dont like it, delete it and move on to another game that fits your play style and personality; no need to leave disparaging remarks.
We enjoyed enjoyed the slow-paced build up and larger maps of the original Homeworld, which are absent in this game. The maps are small and confined, and the build-up is all but absent, but when taken on it own merits, this is an enjoyable mobile game. We would love to see the pace given some breathing room, and the over-all reliance on hyperspace jumping settled down a bit, but the game continues to improve. The ship models and textures could be improved, especially compared to Infinite Lagrange or EVE Echoes, but the animation is smooth and frame rate rock solid. We hope the developers continue to build on the solid core mechanics, moving past the mistaken notion that mobile games must be digestible in small doses. That is simply no longer the case.
The here are like six currencies in the game now. We had high hopes for this and bought the big pack on launch day to support it. We are deleting it now. Gameplay and controls are finicky. No variability in missions. Not worth our time.
As a alpha/beta tester for this game we got to see it develop from a buggy cross platform game with huge potential, into a stable polished gem of our all time favorite game franchise. It does still have a few minor issues and its still being expanded and improved but overall its one of the best complex games on mobile.

Our First time playing this type of game we like it but its hard to enjoy with the constant crashing hopefully devs can fix it we will give it 5 stars.
A fan of the Homeworld series especially the original we wanted to love this game, but it just doesnt live up. There is no real exploration, no fleet construction, no strategy. You jump from point to point, ours a few asteroids, scan a few artifacts, defend against an attack. Over and over again. Every mission is paced to be done in a few minutes, and never developed the kind of personal investment that marks great RTS games. Infinite Lagrange and the upcoming EVE RTS are vastly superior.
We used to love the PC versions of Homeworld. The mobile version needs work. Ships start rotating for no reason. UI is a little wonky and not easy to figure out. When game loses connection it takes you to the start of the level all over again. We’ll revisit game after some updates.
We want to thank you for making our dream come true we really love the game when we saw it on YouTube and we always wondered if they ever going to make a phone app of the game we really loved it and we dream of a homeworld game of it and you made our dream come true we want to say is thank you for doing this and we hope you update the game more to make it more fun and awesome and a question can we switch our capital ship or no?
Our biggest complaint is the connection issues. We have to restart the game multiple times in an hour to reconnect . The retry button never works. The game is enjoyable while Im able to stay connected. We look forward to seeing this game really come together.
We started playing this game last year but we ended up finding myself in a odd stop with the game trying to figure out where to go and what to do next so we ended up quitting for a few months but Im looking to try it out again after a few months to see what the updates have changed with the game Otherwise we found the graphics style and combat engaging enough but we never made it far enough to find out how much depth it has so after we play for a few more months Ill be back to advice this rating.
There are so many bugs. We cant even get pass the tutorial because when it complete it, it restarts! And each time it gives us another broken frigate.
Loading screen is too much, please fix it.

This game looks great, but its VERY glitchy. After todays update it wont even launch. Completing missions is confusing, and the UI is not that intuitive. Have fun, and good luck.
At first we were just excited to have what we thought was Homeworld on mobile but after few gameplays we realized this was not the Homeworld of old, but rather a ftp game that was designed to bore you into spending real world cash to progress at a reasonable rate. We would have gladly just paid $20 for a True Homeworld on mobile experience. So disappointing.
It has potential as others have said. You get to form your own kiith, carve your own niche so to speak. And you get to roam the galaxy. For Higaara!
This is, hands down, one of the best mobile games we’ve ever played. It is, at its core, the same Homeworld gameplay we’ve known and loved since the original came out decades ago. The music, the sound, the visuals – all carry over extremely well. Add to this that its free to play, no annoying advertisements, no aggressive monetization, great dev support, and a vibrant community, and youve got a real gem. As of the last patch, its gotten significantly better as well, and the devs add content at a rapid pace. If youve ever been interested in strategy games, or a fan of the Homeworld series, this is for you.
The game looks very nice and its fun. Some bugs still present but the dev team is transparent and quick to respond to issues. If you enjoy space games or strategy homeworld mobile worth checking out.
When it works it is a fun game but there are too many bugs for this to be playable, we have to restart the app fairly often for it to perform what should be very simple actions, like allowing us to push the collect button on something we have just built. This app also requires a very fast internet connection, the loading screens (of which there are many) last even longer when your internet is slow.
Crashes, disconnects, and you get annihilated and unable to progress before you even unlock research abilities. The game was not designed well at all. UI is horrible as well.
We love all of the Homeworld games but we are disappointed with this. This game has so many bugs, its crazy its allowed to allow IAP.. Map will often go screwy, causing issues when you are trying to move between locations, your ships (that can require long period of time to build) will just completely disappear (not destroyed, but be removed from your squadron, which then means you have lost them forever). We really wanted this game to be fun, but we dont see myself putting any additional time grinding when bugs make you lose all of your hard work.
Just finished started missions and then hits t1 missions that we cant pass we tried everything only we need to buy t1 ships and there is no way to get it we only see troughs in game market $$$
For no apparent reasons, no updates, nothing, our game profile was reset… How frustrating to play for few months then back to zero…

This is what beyond what we expected from Homeworld moblie most download really good only thing is to make missions more easy but really good game.
This is a really good game, but a bug we noticed is that we cant collect the rewards for the Signals quest, as in one of the first quests of the game. Please fix?
The game was released about 6 months too early, so lots of crashes currently, spinning wheel forcing a restart when trying to communicate with server, and very limited activity list (very repetitive grind with few upgrade options). Seems to be a dedicated dev team though, so we have high expectations for the future. The nice thing about this game is that it gives players a chance to get away from the toxicity found in nearly 100% of mobile games. Its PVE and co-op with no base defense. Players are helpful and will frequently announce mining ops in systems, which make it easier to defend your weak mining ships through combined firepower. Fantastic concept for a game, and very little pay to win. We spent about $60 on the game so far and we dont regret it at all. Purchases are generous and small in nature ($1.99 / $2.99), and they are restricted by either day (daily) or weekly limits. That is a solid mechanic that helps force players to engage in the game and not simply buy their way ahead. We see good things coming to this game in the substantial, nearly monthly updates as long as the devs continue on the same path.
Game is fun to play and challenging at times. Our biggest gripe is that it constantly has no sound. Sometimes uninstalling and then reinstalling fixes it but not always. A reboot of the phone does not help, nor does killing the program. We dont know if this is just happening to us or if its a common problem. Is there a fix to it that we are not aware of?

Looks good, but Early game starts off a bit grinding. The touch controls make managing your ships difficult (like trying to tell your escorts to get away from an overpowered enemy). The rarities for building, the random loot boxes, low mining returns, and slim research benefits are bad enough. Then there are the progression missions that are required, and spike the difficulty beyond what can be addressed without months of grind or buying your way to victory. In short, this could have been a great Homeworld game, but the devs made it into a mobile cesspool.
Update: even after the latest software update, it still crashes all the time. Fun games but very frustrating! Wait till they are able to come up with a version that doesnt crash. To the DEVS, try investing in some code review/testing before release. We wouldnt pay for this game until they fix the bugs causing the game to crash all the time. Otherwise its a fun game with lots of potential. We hope the DEVS read this!
IPhone 13 mini performance is something like 15 fps. Devs, you cannot compromise performance on a direct-touch UI. Responsiveness is everything.
When playing it will kick us out of game or when it starts it will kick us out??? Asking will there be a thing were u can do a full download to help with the game???
We wish we could give this 5 stars, but it keeps crashing. We love homeworld stuff, and we love that the ships and voice lines are similar to the pc games, but it keeps crashing and we currently cant play Update: Thanks so much for the devs responding to our review and for continuing to work on the game. A lot of the bugs are getting addressed and chat now works which is great. We still experience crashes often, but they are less frequent. Some things we think are vital to fix are unit responses. Resource controllers seem to work well. But the targeting of other units is very odd. We often cant focus fire on a target like Im wanting to as our ships quickly overwrite that command and started attacking whatever seems to be closest. Also while in a fight moving your ship can be buggy as it seems to overwrite the move command and again just attack a random target nearby. But we can tell yall are working on the game so we raised the review to 4 stars. This mobile game is getting us more excited for the next console homeworld release!

We are so excited that Homeworld is now available in mobile. We have missed playing the game since our laptop died. This version is exactly as we remember the game being, even the music and sound effects. Well done on that! However.. There is one thing that is really starting to ruin our enjoyment of this masterpiece. IT KEEPS CRASHING. Please, fix the issue, and Im sure youll get a higher overall rating.
Really enjoying the game so far and how commanding ships work but the game tends to crash a bit here and there which is quite annoying.
Need we say more? Other than weapons and ui, everything feels like eve echos had a baby with infinite Lagrange. Plus this game has so many bugs and crashes a lot. If you want a good game that has way better graphics and gameplay than this l, just play eve echos or infinite Lagrange.
We have not gotten the chance to enjoy the game because we cant play for more than five minutes at a time because of the game crashes. Didnt give it a one star because the game looks good.
