Please read this book. It is not only the best of these Hosted or Choice of games, but some of the best literature we’ve ever read. Beautiful, heartbreaking, action filled, we cant say enough about it. John Louis is a GENIOUS!!!!

Loved the game and had fun playing. We’re excited for the sequel!!!

We strongly recommend the entire Dragoon Saga, and Lords is the best game to come out of it so far. Its gameplay has just the right amount of complexity to be fun and quite replayable, its storytelling is engaging and interesting, and its worldbuilding is enjoyable to look at no matter how deep you want to dive.

As being someone who is visually impaired, we found it very fascinating and very enjoyable, and we are still playing it to complete all of the achievements, but our favorite achievement was alpha and our voice over read the whole thing.

We’ve personally been enjoying stories on all these sights and it is incredibly fun and interesting to enjoy a piece of literature that you can select the outcome. When we play these games we play on mobile. That being said we have a few issues with the UI that you use. When we put on dark mode in the app we want everything to be in dark mode including the menu and the top bar in the story. We love stories with replay abilities but there is no way to delete saves. Or depending on the story adding a save system you can use mid story so one accidental choice ruins your play through. We really enjoy these games but these things get on our nerves a bit. But out of all of those things we listed we really want to see the complete dark mode on Choice of games, Hosted games, and Hearts choice.

There have been countless times that we miss-click please in the middle of WAYHAVEN we had to restart the THIRD book because of a single miss-click of vital dialogue please.

Is the best book we ever read in this app it makes you feel like your in the story, and the story line is amazing.

Very interesting character and we love the decision-making with the battles. Didnt quite get the ruleswish we could learn them somewhere but seemed common sense is adequate to have fun with it.

We have been playing hosted Games for a while and we really love we the forgotten one so please make a second part to it in fact, make it a whole series.

Im gonna put it like this. We need another hero or villain game, simple as that.

All the games in here are so good that spent over $400 on a bunch of them our number one favorite is zombie exodus Safehaven whoever makes these games is doing a really good job.

We’ve been waiting on this for years, did not disappoint!!

Look, we really love interactive fiction and reading in general, and there are some incredibly talented writers, unique characters, & amazing story worlds in this app. However, we strongly feel that we are kept from enjoying the stories to the fullest because in almost ALL of them, there is no save feature, absolutely no way to save your game at all, and no checkpoints either. Some of these are very long and complex stories with numerous choices that have various consequences and impacts, and there is literally no way whatsoever to go back, fix an issue or mistake you made, or retry anything without starting the entire story over again? That is stressful and a little ridiculous- we mean really, how hard can it possibly be to have a save system in a text game with nothing else to worry about? We have anxiety and it honestly stops us from wanting to play or make any of the decisions that are supposed to be fun and enjoyable. The only one we’ve played so far that had any save/checkpoint system at all was Fernweh, and that was awesome because at the end of each chapter was a checkpoint. You could either continue the story or retry the chapter, and those who werent interested in that could turn it off. That made it so much more enjoyable for us, THATS the way it should be for all of the games! If all stories had something like that, this would be a 5-star app.

Every time we login and try to restore purchases, it always says we havent bought anything! We have had to purchase the same games multiple times.

Brilliant authors and a great system to support the reader. Games always have us spending hours on them. Would rate it higher if we could.

Hello! Before we begin, we are not slandering Choice Of Games or Hosted Games in any way! They are amazing and the games they help produce are fantastic! We have been using them and Hosted Games for years! Here is the only issue and it isnt a huge deal. But when you want to buy a book/game from Hosted Games or Choice of Games. We implore you to buy it from their website ChoiceOfGames. Com. If you buy it off the app it wont show up on your Profile online. But if you buy it from the online store it will show up on both! If you keep a record of what you bought they will add it to your online account but it takes a while to get a response and for them to add it. Keep it up!

The best app out there in this genre you will not be disappointed!

By Far the most interactive and best story telling of all the story games we have played!!!

This was a fun and different game! Really enjoyed it!

This series is honestly one of the best works of fiction we have read.

This game is so addicting because every character has been written with a complex inner world. So every interaction feels so loaded. Every decision has consequences, and the world building feels realistic, despite the whole super villain and hero setting. This is a story about identity, the rocky road to recovery, and learning to trust others in a world that feels as scarily hostile to our own. Im pretty burnt out of the whole superhero genre, but Ryden has shown that with a lot of complex characterization, slowly uncovering secrets (even about the character you play as), and some very grounded exploration of what its like when your body is up for control in a world that is constantly clawing to overcome others, then a fresh story can still be told in this genre. We dont want to make it seem the story is hopelessly depressing. In fact, it is also filled with characters that are kind, that are genuinely trying to break down the player characters walls, and are trying to do the right thing in a messed up world that makes this such a satisfying game to play. We sincerely hope Ryden is proud of this story, and we look forward to more!

Definitely one of the better games released on this platform. The sheer amount of variation between play throughs is staggering.

We’ve waited 5 whole years for this game and it did mot disappoint. We’ve gone through it about 6 times over the past 4 days. Thats how unbelievably amazing it is!

A god tier game, one of our all time favorites Very good replay ability with so many different paths and choices along with the randomization aspect.

Had a Great time reading was easily able to put myself in the character shoes cant wait for the sequel.

An amazing continuation from where the first story left off. Everything you could want is here! Heartbreak! Romance! Fights! Intrigue! Plans and wrenches being thrown in. Beautiful writing and an amazing world and story.

The fallen hero series is the bees knees. That is all.

This app has so many different stories and adventures. It’s amazing!

It keeps saying check our internet when we try to purchase this game fallen hero retribution.

Please write a part two story of the Tin star.

The only way to go back to a choice or page is by restarting. It would be convenient if there were save slots similar to the website.

Authors use stories to push political agendas like Presidential Disaster, no thanks!

Long time player, still feel like room for improvement. Love the story, management of base and group. We would like to see more choices for base construction. Such as for ex. Armory, living quarters, maybe a mounted 50 cal from one of those jeeps on the wall, looking forward to the distillery Seans going to build, other than that game is solid. Saw metal and metallic parts still not clear if theres a difference. Would love for there to be a way to save some the characters who die. Im looking forward to 4th installment.

This app brings us pure joy. Thank you to everyone involved in this app.

Never has an interactive fiction filled us with such emotion. The first time we finished it we cried profusely, overcome with feelings of sorrow and love. The second time, we were surprised that those emotions bubbled through us once again. The writing of the characters and plot is something akin to genius, and we await with bated breath for book 2. Heres hoping for a happy ending, one in which the protagonist can feel the warmth of the Sun.

We’ve been reading on this app for about a year now, and it was pretty good, aside from almost every story needing to be bought for 5-6 dollars. There were a few free ones that were really good, but now you have to watch an ad every 5-10 minutes to continue reading the story which is dumb. We get you need money to survive, but needing to pay 5 dollars to skip ads that pop up every 5 minutes on a free story make us not want to read that story. We’ve even started reading from choice of games, who have the same stories, except you dont have to watch a ton of ads to ready stories like this. The stories are great, but too many ads. At least make the ads like the tiny ones on the bottom of the page like you guys used to only have.

We always love finding a new story on this app whenever Im bored.

We love both choice of games as well as hosted games while in our opinion the choice of games app has better books and stories some of our favorite book series are on hosted games such as the Swords of Infinity series and the Samurai of Hyuga series. If you are looking for some more grounded or realistic books we would go for hosted games while if you are looking for more fantasy titles or new worlds in a sense go for choice of games.

Spent about 100 bucks on some great readings and Id probably do it again. Im sure 200 bucks and 1000 hours later Ill still say the same.

Just needs a one-time purchase for all the stories instead of buying each individual story. The same can be said for the advertisement portion attached to everything.

We definitely need more medieval games where we can choose to be a king or queen. But we love all of these games, we have over 45 or more games that are favorited by us.

We ABSOLUTELY loved it. We felt absorbed and addicted to this world, obsessively playing with glee. We are so grateful to the author, Mike Walter, for this experience he gave us and many others.

Of all the interactive novels in this app the Archangel Job has to be our favorite. We’ve played it about three times and it hasnt gotten old for us yet. We sincerely hope that the author writes a sequel. We need more.

What a surprising game this one has been. We dont usually read ya nothing less than 100,000 words but Im glad we did this time. Here is to hoping the next book is longer and has more choice depth.

We have to say we really love the story behind this game. The choices you make and the bonds play a huge role and we love it! Im really hoping for a dragon racer 2 lol. Id love to continue this story with how it ended! We have chills!

This app differs with Choice of Games, in our opinion, in that the stories can be much more DnD-like. For this experience, we recommend the Lost Heir trilogy and Evertree Inn saga.

Mike Walter is a genius! We just got done reading/playing Life of a Space Force Captain and it exceeded our expectations! It reminded us of Mass Effect and Interstellar. The characters all had very distinct personalities and the choices you make really change everything in the game. We’re blown away and we’re about to play through it again. Can’t wait to try out more of Mike’s work.

An amazing game! Beautifully written and detailed, in most titles we’ve played that has longer descriptions of the environment its felt tiresome and irrelevant, but in Rose the author has such talent that their writing brings you into the world of the game(as it should be considering its all written word) If you want to play a game where everyone down to the passing background characters are interesting and well written then we would definitely give this story a try, its well worth the money! The story is so, so interesting. We love how the main character even has their own background independent of your roleplay so that they feel part of the story instead of just an observer of events which can happen in some games. Its a long read with tons of places to explore and things to do so we highly recommend it. We’ve been waiting a few years since the demo released to play the full experience and we can tell you it exceeded our already high expectations. We could go on for many more paragraphs singing the authors praises, but instead Ill begin our next playthrough of The Golden Rose.
