Its so easy to accidentally move a piece sideways while moving it down, and we often accidentally hold pieces when moving pieces sideways because it wasnt a perfectly horizontal swipe.
Literally the only block arcade game with smooth mechanics and different play styles. Mixing old school with modern app design.
The swipe controls are very hard to use, as precision is harder to get when swiping. And Tetris and other variants need precision to play well. Additionally, you cant wedge, or move, pieces when they make contact; they immediately stick. This prevents you from making ANY moves to fix gaps. This is very disappointing to see, as it makes whats otherwise an easy game to program a bothersome experience. Please fix this, Id love to play this if it had such fixes.
Very simple but addictive, too many ads!!! But the game makes up for it.
We are a Pentix whale. We play this game nonstop, morning, noon, and night. We absolutely LOVE this game! Its hard at first, and youre going to want to quit for 2 months straight, but once you finally figure it out, its SO FUN! We have dreams about this game. We love the app developers, thank you so much for making the best game in the world, and we plan on making an in-depth Youtube video sometime soon to raise awareness on this awesome game and also teach people how to play. Also, we are number 350 in the world right now. Mic drop. Anyways, hopefully we will make top 100 soon. Thanks once again to the app developers! This is the ONLY game we play on our phone, and have been playing it for over 2 years now.
There should be millions playing, no other Tetris game offers multiplayer.
Screen went black for some reason.
This app use to be fun but now its just ads that you cant get rid off.
Only nearby multiplayer works, and its buggywe have to host/join/restart app multiple times to get it to work. Online multiplayer over Game Center or by invite simply doesnt work at all. Have tried over and over various types of ways to get it to work and it bugs out every single time.
We bought this app. The only thing we wish it could do was allow us too have different skins for the blocks and the background. It would also be nice if we could pick which blocks we would like to show up in a custom game. We are happy with the purchase.

Not liking the new update ! This is not working now.
This is the best Tetris that we ever played. And it has no ads.
We have Pentix on 4 devices, all different. However theres a stutter on tge 3 right most columns where pieces will stick for a moment. Almost as if theyre being grabbed and held for a moment, and then are suddenly released. Often somewhere not intended. Beyond that, it pretty fun.
March 2023 update: game center is no longer supported. Link to leaderboard and standings no longer works. Not sure if scoring is updating. APP SUPPORT link opens a static advertisement! A great practice app but not a game. The app doesn't track the game until quit. So you'd have to play in one session. Pausing for an extended period resets the app. Piece probabilities for Game and Campaign are different; e.g., in pentix you get one cross for every ten lines in Campaign, and reverse of that trend in Game.
The game was one of our favorite to play. They have continued to alter the game time and again and now its just not as enjoyable. We have just about given up on it.
We loved this until they changed the format. Now we rarely play it.
We were playing a game for TWO hours on Pentix Level 7 in Campaign mode with 65k points and one or two rows to the line. We paused it and tried going back to it 15 mins later and it was GONE. This has happened a dozen times but this time was the last straw! How can the developer think anyone gamer could even take this game seriously? Such a shame because we used to love it.
This game used to be fun but the new updates staring in 2021 have made it unplayable. Multi player now gives you half a screen of blocks right away (instead of starting with a blank screen) making the game very difficult and end too quick. The sensitivity is changed which makes moving pieces around frustrating. Now they removed the drop buttons! Ads are way too disruptive. Id consider paying to remove the ads only if the other issues are fixed. The only cool thing the update brought was a nice animation when you clear a line. Everything else is bad and has made it unplayable. PLEASE REVERT IT BACK! Ps: why are there like four other versions of this same game from other developers but with less features. Hard to tell who is ripping who off.
This was a great game until it was swapped with this garbage. Where do we go to download the game we downloaded? The one that was automatically deleted by apple in favor of this horror show? We want the old version that was fun to play. This is just frustrating. The old game you could turn off the preview. The old game had better rules. The old game had a way better mix of falling pieces. This game is terrible and is not recommended AT ALL.
The updated the color scheme. The color scheme is awful and also it is a lot smaller and gives you too many hints it is no longer competitive.
The new update greatly reduced the playability of the game. It has a smaller play area and the pieces lock regardless of settings. If you pay to have ads removed you need to go through menu Each time you load game to restore purchases. If you click wrong you pay to remove ads again. The previous revision was much better. Im going to delete this app.
Why would you change every part of the app? Nothing was broken! Very irritated that we cant even play the version we like.
This was fun despite multiplayer issues we hope it becomes online again soon.
Since up date tiles seem to jump for no reason and we also lost all levels we had completed.
Loved this game pre update. Now blocks seem to drop to landing when we have not initiated them to yet. Ive tried figuring out if there is a specific movement that causes it and cant pin point it. Also tried re calibrating our screen and no luck. Very frustrating when you cant accurately place the blocks.
Help! We would give last years Pentix five stars. This new version is so much worse. Controls are placed inconveniently and screen is overly sensitive to touch. Game does not fill screen and new graphics are cheap and cheesy. Big fan of old versionbegging you to still offer old version.
It turns off our music when Im playing but other than that its a great game.

This used to be One of our favorite games and is now one of the most irritating apps on our phone!!! We paid to have the ads removed and now we have to re-store our purchases every time we play. Sometimes ads pop up in the middle of a game and we have to quit to re-store purchases. Such a scam!!! Ill be looking for a new version of Tetris to play.
Ever since latest IOS update Pentix wont work correctly. Crashes every time randomly in middle of game. So irritating.
We were going to buy Tetris for ea, and we dont have good experiences with ea. Really cool game.
We love this game, but it freezes all the time! Its very buggy. It often doesnt save your progress, so you have to start a level over. And if it freezes, you have to start over. Its very frustrating.
Great game, lots of functions. We can only give it three stars though. Despite paying to remove the ads, they reappear every time we close and reopen the ap. The user has to go to settings every time to restore purchases. Very annoying, especially since we purchased this for our son to play.
Beat all levels up to 27, one level previously did take a while but eventually beat it. Thanks to CAROLE BASKIN Ive been stuck on level 27 for months Game is now freezing randomly…pieces will drop instantly at times and then other times will not stay where you put them. Want it to be good. Very annoying when its not.
Loved this game. Particularly the campaign challenges. Required more strategy than your typical Tetris, but then around level 20 it started crashing in the middle of a game. Also we purchased it to get rid of ads but every time we open the game we have to restore our purchase or the ads show up.
It was super fun at first but then spent a whole week on round 22 and now we are super irritated and deleted the game. We like a challenge but it shouldnt be unbeatable…It would be nice if they incorporated cheats or boosts for if you are really struggling. Like them if you fail 100 times, maybe it could give you a break.
Cant stand it when we cant listen to our own music or podcasts while playing a game. Sigh.
So many bugs need to be fix. You can be close to completing a level and it will place blocks where it wants. You pause the game, return and you have to start all over! Sometimes it freezes too. Love the game but its annoying at many times.
Currently on lever 27 of this game. Ive been stuck here for over a month. It freezes every time we get close to beating it! Sooooo frustrating.
The ads cover the game and you can not see the bottom two rows. Impossible to play if the tiles cant be seen.
This game is juuuuust good enough that its insulting. Its a semi-functioning game but there are so many game breaking bugs its infuriating. They dont test the levels so some of them are only possible through luck. Sometimes you can be pushing a block down forever and it never sticks, but other youre trying to move a block horizontally and it just sticks, ruining an entire level. There are certain blocks as well that have no right to be in this game, and are game breaking every single time they show up. This game is so bad. So so so bad. Please never download this.
Love the game but how do you get passed Level 27.
There are now ads at the bottom of the screen while playing. You cant see the bottom 2 rows of blocks once you drop them. Now impossible to play. Bummer because this was such a great app.
We were looking for Tetris, till we came across this game! We think id rather play this over Tetris as well. We love the campaign games, super challenging and we can't even get past stage 8, and still have a long way to go! But that's the beauty of it. Loving the challenge.
Love Pentix super fun no nonsense like the Tetris games have now. We play this game endlessly and we even played through all the campaign level things too those were cool and some of them make cute pictures that made us laugh. Thanks for this game :).

We have been trying for over 4 months to pass level 32 theres a problem Im too good not to be able to do this level.
We LOVED PENTIX. But the games window shrunk after iOS 13 update. Hard to play.
