We love this game. It is easy and relaxing to play. Build your inn with rooms, amenities. And scenery. No extra dollars to spend. We love it. Classic building game at its finest.

Reviewed 1/7/19 on an iPhone 7 The flaws are too insignificant to warrant taking off one star. This is our first Kairosoft game. It can be played in both portrait and landscape mode, with automatic rotation (a setting can lock rotation). There is an option for a game pad, but its probably unneeded for modern phones. Controls are still smooth, despite the age. The mouse cursor is irritating and can not be removed, but its a small flaw and can be useful for selecting facilities that are hidden by other facilities. This game has aged well. Its flawed and hasnt been updated in two years, but it still runs smoothly (and a little warm, which is strange considering its 7 or 8 years old). The menus dont feel cramped either. The gameplay is fun and relaxing. One of our favorite aspects of the game is that you can play as casually as you want. You dont have to maximize profits or configure rooms using expo sheets, but you still can (and that would be a hefty amount of work, too). There is still no 360 rotation. There are only some facilities that can rotate at all, and even then, there are only two directions to rotate. Regardless, people can walk through some walls (but not others). So it becomes a matter of figuring out which rooms open where. Be careful when considering this, as some facilities have doorways that seem like walls. This game is complex but slow. We find that relaxing, as watching people happily filter in and out is interesting to us. However, while it can be a micromanagement game, the micromanagement isnt constant. You will have to wait for money to fill from time to time. If you need a continuous experience, consider getting another Kairosoft game. People undergo a variety of activities based on how many facilities you put down, so the animations are not uninteresting. You can tell theyre old, however, as they arent as fluid as modern pixel game animations, including the studios newer games. We have yet to find a bug in the game. It hasnt crashed yet either. Im assuming the glitches people are complaining about are how customers can walk through walls. Its not a bad bug, if its even a bug. Better that than have you constricted by one or two entrances when placing facilities. At least this bug somewhat makes up for the lack of rotation. The music is repetitive, but the sound effects arent annoying. You can lower the volume or mute both of them, if you want to listen to your own music. For an old title, the menu system is surprisingly user friendly. We find the double tap to confirm feature is a good feature and a necessary one, as placement can be inaccurate. The movement of new facilities is pretty simple and easy. People complain about the fact that you must destroy a facility (you cant simply move it). We dont find it annoying at all, as its still relatively quick to get rid of something. We guess redesigning can become a chore, in which case its easier to start over. Thats what some reviewers mean by replay value. If you find yourself uncomfortable with a design and you dont want to bother redesigning, its much easier to start over. We havent done this yet, but supposedly some stats and unlocks carry over into new game plus. A solid experience with minimal flaws, all considering. We were surprised and pleased that this game went beyond our expectations. Please dont be deterred by the age, lack of updates, or reviews; as the flaws may not be nearly as bad as they seem and the game still plays very smoothly. If we continue to be impressed, we will buy another Kairosoft game. (Its not optimized for iPhone X though. We know because the last update was from before the iPhone X came out.).

It's a super cute game honestly and it's supplied us with plenty of entertainment. The graphics are adorable and it's so fun to build a hot springs from the ground up, it definitely keeps you entertained for five hours or so. We highly recommend if you like games where you build your own business.
We give four stars because we have yet to try everything it has to offer in game. Really fun and starting to be worth the buy its getting more challenging with the new features in a good way. Now unfortunately we want to buy another pocket app. Fun addicting nice app.
For some reason our game won't work! We try to open the app and it shows us this long message in another language and then the screen goes black! We were really far in the game too! We don't understand what happened we love this game.
Not worth $2 or your time. Ignore this shoddy game.

Nice to see Kairosoft updating their apps to work with newer models! You wouldn't know it based off their app updates which usually only say bug fixes, but they have been going back and updating older games.

We love this game and we played it about a year ago on our old iPod and now we got it on the iPod 5 and the screen is small. And it would be nice to add more stuff in the game. We did the last expansion land deed and it feels like it's still too small. More items would be great like more room types and more stores. More trees would be good too.

Very fun strategy,but we found a glitch.Late at night,if a young family is using the ping pong table,the father left to go to the roof and we made no money while the wife and daughter played ping pong all night.

We have bought other "stories" in the past, and saw this on sale; it was a must buy. Kairosoft delivers a charming throw back to the retro ages. With it's unique design, traits, bonus items, it's well worth it. Great Game, A must have for iPhone.
We really wanted this game but it was $4.99! We'll probably pay $1.99 at the most. But when the sale came out. BOOM. We bought it as quickly as we can. And if course we love it! All the graphics and stuff are great! But we wish the days were longer. But other than that it was over whelming. Get this game before the sale is gone. Trust us, you won't regret it. You should also get Dungeon Village if you like RPG.

Absolutely love this game, very addicting but we wish there were more stuff to buy and add we bought everything so quick :/ . Would be cool if there were rooms for special vip or you could adjust the price to your liking and more people to reserve. Game was fun while it lasted worth the money.

We absolutely love this game (and have been getting other kairosoft games too!) our girlfriend and we bought this and we're addicted to it! It's not one of those silly mindless games like tiny tower or those repetitious games where you keep playing the same thing just to hit different achievements. This is game is a LEGIT GAME. The developers put a lot of thought in it and it is at once simple and difficult! By that we mean this: you are introduced to the basics of managing a spa but there are a lot of things such as building combinations, item and building combinations, etc. That you have to figure out yourself in order to make your spa better (and get higher score). And it's really satisfying when you unlock something after various trials and error — which also gives this game a GREAT REPLAY VALUE! DO NOT BE FOOLED BY THE LACK OF REVIEWS: we suspect there isn't as much reviews because not once while playing this game was we bombarded with notifications asking us to rate the game. (But hey, look at the ratio between 5 and 1 stars for those who bothered to review!) It is a little bit pricey, but we've bought hundreds of apps and none beats the price/value of this game! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
We like this one the best and we bought two other games we need the other two!!!! We think you guys are the best and maybe can make a game like running a movie theater or something close. :).
Every game that this company releases is awesome! Stoked that we waited on this ge because now it is a dollar! Worth five though for sure, but we're broke so a dollar is perfect.
