Loved this game. Just wish there was more of it. It took some time to get used to the controls, but thats part of what makes it more difficult and make the game last longer. Would love to see more games like this one!
The perfect balance of challenging and fun. Love that we could purchase this game rather than deal with annoying in-app purchasing throughout. We’ve played and replayed it a couple times. Hoping for a part 2, or another by these guys.
Beautiful soundtrack, beautiful story and the way its told, we love this game.
First of all we love the story and the art style and it was worth the money in our opinion. We just have a few things that we dont like 1. The controls are not the best and could be worked on a bit we think. 2. We dont like how the demo part was very easy and Didnt really give you any actual guidance in the game. This game is super hard we broke our screen on a old phone playing it. 9/10 would recommend.
We are happy that we were able to play the demo before purchasing game. We did not find the character controls friendly, but others may be OK with them. We will NOT purchase the game on our iPad but the concept is nice and may be better on a different platform.
We love almost everything about this game: The colors, the story, etc. Except for how challenging some of the puzzles are. A lot of the times when we die midway through a level, we have to completely restart. A checkpoint system would be awesome honestly, but we can see why that would be hard to implement.
We will start by saying we enjoy this game. The graphics are well down for this type of game with the colors being vibrant and very well defined while also having a softness to them that doesnt hurt the eyes if youre playing in a dim or dark room (which we suggest since it contrast with the black landscape). The puzzles so far arent complicated enough to need any assistance outside of finding collectibles. However, Im not sure if its our phone or the game, but the sensitivity between jumping and color swapping is at times game ending. There are some relatively easy jumping puzzles that completely waste up our time because mid jump the color wheel has popped up and either changed the color quickly or so slowly that Im forced to watch the little dude jump right into the spike pit in a morbid slow motion kill cam shot. We’ve gotten so frustrated that Im taking a break. We dont remember if we paid for the game or not. If we did it was worth the few bucks we paid for as the game is largely a good game. We can get past the sensitivity every now and again but not when we want to drown out our day and binge play before bed.
This is a wholly entertaining, creative, unique, lovable game. Absolutely worth paying full price for (especially if that means it helps go to funding a sequel?) we love that you must play through it a second time to continue searching for the bubbling beakers. Great built-in replayability cheat. Our only issue is with the controls on the iPad. IPhone controls are fluid and smooth, but on the iPad the D-pad cancels out the color wheel choice, causing far too many falls and mis-steps due to incomplete color changes. Aside of the need for that minor tweak, the game is a joy to play.
Hue is an excellent platformer with a fun and unique mechanic. Our one complaint is that it lacks controller support in iPhone. Playing on the screen is not ideal here.
This game has huge potential, but the controls are frustrating to say the least. We thought about buying the game, but the way the controls are set just makes us want to quit playing!
This game was so close to being awesome. Sans the hyper sensitive joystick that starts you running the wrong direction 70% of the time. The entirely too small jump button you constantly miss and its relative proximity to the even smaller grab button and color wheel.
The game and concept is very unique and entertaining, but the controls are less than cumbersome. We dont know how such great game can get the most simple things wrong.
Should put the price in the store. Not download first.

Dude !!!! We discovered that the demo version is a WHOLE WORLD !!! Its WAY bigger than everyone thinks !!!! See, if u come BACK to the very FIRST level , go to the locked gates and OPEN the with ur newly acquired colors, u can go through a WHOLE NEW ADVENTURE. We played the demo like five times till this idea popped into our head cuz we were like this is the type of game where u gotta use ur head and so, we STILL havent finished the DEMO after like, A WEEK. Idk if this is the full experience but, good enough for us we read the reviews and most people thought the demo was short and the full version was expensive, so there ya go ! (Btw we accpet cash or credit card for that tip) Kidding (Seriously though )

Im always looking for new, unique, challenging game/puzzle experiences. This one really did it for us! Well worth the price, as we are now willing to go back and play it through again! Unique storyline? Check! Beautiful art direction? Check! Challenging puzzles? Check! Combination of logic and skill? Check! Non-annoying music? Check! (Its quite soothing) Takes a long time to play all the way through? Check! This has to be one of the most beautifully conceived games out there. Well done!
Once you get the orange color you cant go any further without buying. But if you pause and the go to the map option you can back track and finish the game without buying it. Im only saying this so you dont lose profits.
It’s so perfect for killing time. Especially since all our other games requires waiting for upgrades or something, we play this so we won’t get bored.
Absolutely beautiful game. Really makes us appreciate colors more. Not too easy nor difficult to advance in level, and ads are infrequent/no pay to play which we love.
