This game is Action-packed beat em up game and it is so much fun.
By far the coolest experience Ive had with the mobile game bar and none. Imagine combining three games types together, Stanley parable narrative, Nier automata style storytelling , and Metroidvaina gameplay. This a gem thats worth your money and time, and without a doubt EARNED a five star review.
We LOVEE ICEY. The imagery of religion and Judas is so beautifully written, so excited for the sequel.
Hope to see you release something like this in the future as a metroidvania on switch we bet with this formula and format you could create a phenomenal game!! Not that this wasnt, this was perfect for a iOS game. You did a great job dude.
Holy moly this game is amazing! Ive only just beat the Thor boss, but after getting the Buy another copy achievement, Ive never really saw and praised the hard work of indie developers and small/one man development teams. The mix of hack and slashing, occasional 4th wall breaks, somewhat easy mode dark souls difficulty(or Im just bad) and a decent art style make up for a really stable and excellent masterpiece of a game. Would definitely buy the sequel.
This game was amazing and it was a great experience although it crashed on us couple of times on our iphone x otherwise was amazing Also one complaint was the game is not connected to gamecenter and all of your achievements wont matter.
Im pretty early in the game where there are steel bars to dash through but the texture is missing and its just pink squares. Changed our graphic settings in game but the options are very limited and nothing fixed the texture issue.
The graphics are such a chefs kiss and we love ICEYs design. We also love how certain endings give fourth wall breaks.
The story is unique, graphics are amazing, controls are great, and the MC has depth. Now there are two different endings from what Ive read, but the true ending is achieved by collecting trophies. We finished it first time with all the trophies, so it was the perfect conclusion. There are a lot hidden areas which are really fun, and becomes more challenging. We hope there will be part two of ICEY.
Hands down recommend the game, only played five minutes and we were sucked into it. The games graphics are stunning (you can turn up the quality in settings, which is also a nice touch), and plays fun. The attack system, using a light and heavy attack system is a ton of fun. We would like to see a second game too.
We love this game so addictive we finished it two hours is so fun it was worth the three dollars <3.

Now this is the exact type of 2d side scrolling hack n slash game Ive been looking for! Where most if not all mobile action games have the tired system of just one attack button for you to mash along with a bunch of cooldown skills, this game gives you two attack buttons (light and heavy) allowing you to chain together a multitude of different combos. The dodge counter requires timing, the enemies arent hard but will dominate you if you dont know what youre doing, and the combat mechanics and controls overall feel so fluid and satisfying. This is the games absolute selling point. We also find the 4th wall breaking story hilarious and adore the different choices/paths you can take. Our biggest problem is its length. This game only has its story and lacks any form of challenge mode or replay value. Its worth the $3 but youll probably only get a week of enjoyment out of this game. If there was more content or game modes then this game would be up there with some of the greats. The lack of a free floating move button can also make dodging attacks unnecessarily difficult or feel awkward at times. Overall a recommend.
The NPC that in the game as really good, it have a person emotion and always so funny. In addition a have a really good time with NPC and the storys background.
100% satisfied with ICEY. Just got the iphone 11, our first new phone since the 6 and ICEY is a great way to hit the ground running. Awesome game.
This game was amazing even though it was short we feel like we got our moneys worth we had a blast yet we really wish there was a part 2 or a sequel or just anything to keep us involved in this cute story of ICEY.

Ive been waiting so long to get some money and buy this game we like the game play however it just crashes a lot during running or fighting and we should exit the game and start all over its really annoying please fix this problem we cant play at all :(.
We bought this on Steam, but didn't read the requirements, so it doesn't run too smoothly on our laptop. However, we did get enough of a taste of the game that we wanted more, and was VERY glad that it's been ported to the iOS. It runs incredibly smoothly on our iPhone 6S. It's a fantastic side-scrolling ARPG. The combat system is well done and the story is well written. Thank you to the developers for porting it over to mobile. It's something we need much, much more of.
We would strongly suggest buying the game, a game like this with the price is totally worth it, we havent played such a great game like this for so long.
Such a great game. We will list the requirements for achieving the true end, in case someone might need them. 1.finish the frist round. 2. Change name from icey to yocy. 3.keep jumping down at the first bridge and find the hidden room at far left end. 4. Find the room without anything in Sew. 5.destory the music control panel at the theater. 6. Enter second door at the theater on 2nd floor. Choose not to answer the phone. 7. Defeat jack at the theater. 8.knowing the name of god at second floor of clock tower. 9. Enter hastur at the main page of the ui system. Boom! You will see the true end of icey.
Amazing visuals and gameplay console quality! Its very rare to find good games on the Apple Store that rank next to Infinity Blade…Kudos to the development team.
What can we say, finish this game, we complete everything, in 8 hours in a row, just love how the game is joking, this makes it great, and maybe unique.
EDIT: we really really enjoyed it, but there are a couple things that unfortunately made us take off a star. The main thing is that the game is actually really small. We thought we had been still at the beginning but it turns out we beat it all in just a few hours, whereas Grimvalor, for example, kept us going for a much longer time. If this game had been longer, it wouldve been among our favorites ever. The only other small thing is that the move list couldve been a tad better; several of the ones at the bottom didnt show a control but instead of nothing, it showed the control of the move before it, which was confusing. The shadow cut in particular could have been much better explained in terms of how it is activated. Anyway, its still a really enjoyable game, and Id still recommend it to anyone. :) Original review: For the longest time, Ive searched for a new game to play similar to Grimvalor, that meshed the hack & slash genre with the platformer that included hidden areas and secrets to find! Ive only just started and although its past midnight, this is now the first time Ive managed to put it down after hours of non-stop playing. We cant really say this game is absolutely a 5* one since Im still in the beginning, but so far, we really love it.
So apparently the game is decently short… And it leaves something more to be desired but sometimes it left us scratching our head in confusion and trying to catch on, Not gameplay wise though, its simple. ICEY says nothing yet her character design is cool, we guess. Though you may find the narrator annoying or unnecessary at first he makes okay in the end. Plus the passive aggressiveness and finding secrets are fun. Its worth trying but kinda weird… It doesnt say anything big but.. Its strange yet we had fun. Would play more but there isnt an ICEY 2 as far as we know.

This game is truly a hidden gem. We honestly never heard of this game till we stumbled upon it coincidently in the App Store similar games search results. We felt this game was short, like it can be finished in a day, but we purposely took the time on the game because we were hooked on the graphics and storyline and we were afraid to finish it. Another thing is that we felt it was anticlimactic, and the controls can get a little used to. Other than that, this game is beautiful, we love the character (Icey) and we felt we were her while playing. We swear, we wish we can find a cosplay costume similar to Iceys, but no such luck. Sigh her in-game uniform is electrifying!! Hopefully there would be a sequel, and we would recommend this game to anyone who likes a good hack n slash.
This game has so much to offer and has so much soul to it. We love all the animations and how fluid it all looks. Devs, if you read this, please make more games.

Great game fun gameplay and mechanics but short even the extra and secret stuff.
The combat is fluid & the visuals are stunning. Your attacks feel powerful, especially as you level up. We wish iCloud SUPPORT would be added so that we could sync the game between devices. Developer: would you please do this? The game is a real joy & well-worth its price.

The combat system reminds us of Devil May Cry a bit. Anyway the storyline is engaging and the option to go a rebellious path is even better. You have to go the rebellious path to know everything. Going the rebellious path is also quite funny. All we can say is that the time taken to put into this game was well worth the money. We only wish there was another path. ICEY has become one of our favorite characters lol.
This is a great side scroll adventure game on ios!!! From the graphics, gameplay, controls, & the content that is in here makes this game top notch in every way!! It reminds us of nier automata & bayonetta hack $ slash. 5 stars.
The game's main plot acts as a satire on modern hack and slash games and pulp science fiction, but the meta game really starts when you trophy hunt. What a phenomenal game. The voiceover quality was a bit lacking at times, but overall the game provides you with incredibly entertaining hack and slash mechanics on top of some really interesting, philosophically tied plot points that deal with the concept of choice in video games in a way that reminded us of Bioshock. Truly great iOS game, definitely in our top 5.
We really liked this game, having finished it not more than 5 minutes ago. It has a lot of fun moments, and secrets galore, both big and small and that simply contain currency. We have a few nitpicks, mostly with the controls. Its port, so its never going to be perfect but we would still like a better dash button, we found ourselves trying to parry with it constantly but finding ourselves attacking or facing the wrong digestion. A floating left stick would be great as well. One last thing, we wont spoil it but theres a trophy called a modern day Pandoras box which is a secret and the reward for achieving it is a little lax. We would have loved a reward like an all around boost to damage or something more solid that what we get. Or potentially a counter wherein we kill a certain number of enemies and get an instant kill on the rest or something. Anyway, it is a fun little bit of game and we really like the interactivity with the devs as you play.
The game flows smoothly great controls and action packed lots to discover lots to do incredible boss fights its a game! However the game is very short… Or am we missing something.
Honestly we were skeptical at first because most mobile games are awful. This game is spectacular and has so much to offer! We recommend it for anyone who enjoys action and humor with a fast paced fighting style.
Well our review was not even submitted probably because of our next sentence. We mentioned that ios 11 basically got rid of great 32 bit games like arcane soul and metal slug( 1-3), MVC2. We are happy that a game like ICEY is able to keep the action rpg genre alive with its smooth controls and fun combos. We wish the dev didnt have to cut a lot of the amazing game features he himself shows as an Easter egg ,but its understandable his budget wasnt high(by supporting the dev we hope he can create more games with those missing combat features like the long range weapon and such.) If you want a break from the common idle/clicker game and want to support variety in game genres that actually care for gameplay, we highly recommend this game.

Good game, but very short story. Graphics,fighting styles are very nice.
We tried playing this with an MFI Controller, and we only few controls work. Cant attack at all, and the functions arent even mapped on any buttons. Just the left stick and d-pad.
When we saw the game on PC, totally love it. However, we hate the control binding( jump, dodge, attack, and heavy attack) because we use to play the dynasty worriers (), which the control is (left-attack, right-heavy attack, down- jump) or something like it. Once we can change the key binding, we will change our review to 5 star.
Gameplay style deserves proper game pad support. Option to turn of onscreen buttons + proper button mapping.
