We think this is a great game. We first heard about this game when we saw our friend playing idle light city on poki.com and we downloaded the app. Now we reached Block D building 5 already and have 1q+ Battery (prestige points) in happy town and have reached Block C in sea-city. Here are some things about this game. For NewPlayers: Good things 1 Completely able to play without Wi-Fi. 2 No pop up ads 3 Slow paced at first then super fast paced at last Bad Things 1 There is a limit (we already reached), so this game is not endless. We played for 3 months and almost reached it 2 thats it! For Developers: In happy town the max power is 2.7 kw and that gets annoying when you get to Block D which needs like 15+ Mw to build things U should add more Prestige items to buy ( we already bought all of them and the most expensive is only like 8 trillion battery we have 1q+) maybe in a future update. Also, the progress in sea city is EXTREMELY SLOW. THINGS ARE SOOOOOOO EXPENSIVE. Bruh. Please respond to us. P.S. We think the skin pack is a bit expensive. 30 dollars! U should make it 20 and we think Ill buy it. Cause we have all the skins already. (For developers) P.P.S Nice game. How long did it take for you to make it.
Ive redownloaded this game so many times in the last few years because its that good. Its one of the only idle games that gives us joy. We love seeing the cities grow and light up. This is one of the best games out there.
We love this game we have been playing it since we were 5 and Im 10.
This is the best game we ever played other people has to play this its so fun.
It reminds of this book we read in 6th grade City Of Ember were the whole world is black with lights.
We played it on our iPad with this we found our iPad and we charged it now we remembered this game we re-download it and it still good game that we remembered.
Maybe focus on making a game without ads, if your goal is money, dont get in gaming business.
Please add a way that we can upgrade quicker we hate waiting for us to click on a building And have it level 1000 can you have the buttons that says X2 , X5 , X10 or , X50 and , X100.
We cannot unlock b 9 in happy town no matter how much we prestige. We would rate it 5 stars but that bug prevents us to, so hopefully it can get fixed in some time and we will continue to try fixing it ourselves.
We have an iPhone. When we click to play ads for stuff the ad wont let us clock out of it at the end. It freezes up.
This game has an interesting premise, and seems very fun, BUT, it isn't accessible with screenreaders, and VoiceOver, for the blind and visually impaired. Our partner has explained that this game primarily relies on the visual aesthetics, being mostly images, and this is not impossible to "translate" to text for those that cannot see these pictures. (A good example is Idle Iktah, where most, if not all, of the clickable items on the screen, are actually images.) Again, we really like the idea, and would love to play this more, but cannot until the game fully supports VoiceOver. So far, it is possible to BUY lightbulbs, and scroll through to see money, and occasionally see what we can upgrade (even if we can't tell what that upgrade is, or does.) we hit a roadblock trying to claim the produced money from the lights we purchased.
So this game was pretty laggy but it looked fun when we looked around the area of the map. We wish our iPhone was better.
We spent $10.00 for 400 diamonds and never got we even bout the bundle when was on sale for $12.00 and still got nothing.
We started playing this in early 2020. The last time we downloaded it was in our doctors office over Wi-Fi. When we got home where didnt have Wi-Fi or data it didnt work. All we got was the title screen and music. When our data came back it worked but not for long. Please fix it so we can play it offline again. Last month we used all our data in a day or two. We cant play it like this.
Everything that we bought we never received. Restore purchase doesnt work. We even tried uninstalling and installing again but nothing worked. The game is fun though.
The game is great. Theres just clearly a lot of work that needs to be done with glitches with purchases and ads. Didnt get our purchase and the ads tend to freeze so you cant even get the reward. Otherwise, we would give this game 5 stars.
The amount of ads yall have already showed in this game since Ive been playing it shouldve been enough to pay for it, so why yall continue running hours and wanted to charge people to remove them we dont understand it. We know what the ads are for but yall have already showed so many and peoples already probably bought so much ad removals that its already paid for the game, so why are you continue charging and running ads, yall a bunch of greedy people.
Still working on fixing the issue where we made a purchase for the starter pack and never received it and restore purchases does not work. None of the 2 to 3 buttons we found. Feel like Ive been having financial issues with everyone for the last 2 years but what can we do but sit and wait for them to fix it, Im just the guy who made the purchase. Overall we absolutely love this game. Ive progressed far enough to a point the game pretty much plays itself with all the prestiging its incredibly well laid out. Slow and then speeds up as you progress. Wonderful graphics and cute characters. A very well made game with a bug providing us a slightly irritating playthrough, due to what you read above. Great job creators and developers for your time and efforts. Keep making those incremental games they truly are the best game to play when relaxing or in a meeting or just to pass the time. Well done.
We keep watching ads and itll stop at 1 second and wont let us claim our prize. Stop having these ads. It keeps happening and no one is fixing it. Im okay with watching ads for rewards, but dont make us watch an ad and nothing and expect us to continue to want to play your game. We feel like your game is either scamming us or not testing the ads you include in your game.
Its a fun game to kill time with. Ive bought the no ads pack bc Im tired of watching ads that freeze up on us and the no ads pack didnt work.
We purchased the starter pack and the flower pack and still have not been able to get it. We even clicked restore purchase and still nothing.
We do love this game. Its fun with no ad interruptions without choice. However, do not attempt to purchase anything with money. Ive spent about $10 trying to get gems from a limited deal yesterday trying get it (at $1.99 each time) to no avail. Just stolen money Ive had to dispute with our bank. Id like this to be corrected to we can have the close to 400 gems we purchased.
As long as you dont try to buy anything like add free its a cute game if a bit grindy. If you do try to buy anything well, it said purchase successful and then did *nothing. (we can buy things in other apps & this has happened on two separate devices. So far no response from the company despite two attempts).
We love the game and would love to give it 5 stars but have an issue where we purchased the starter pack (because we didnt want to deal with ads anymore) and the pack was not redeemed. We have tried restoring the purchase but it has not given it to us. If that is ever fixed Ill happily rate 5 stars.
Fun concept, impossible to play without exiting or waiting for the ad to end with only a 1/4 chance the ad wont freeze and you have to restart anyway.
First off, we love the vibe of this game. It has the potential to be a great game but we have two big issues: 1.) a lack of content, and 2.) in-app purchases not being applied to the game. We purchased the No Ads offer when it was on sale for $14.99. Our account was charged but Ive seen no difference in gameplay. We cant skip anything! Sent a report to their support. Im going to wait a couple more days following the posting of this review and if it hasnt been applied to our game Im going to ask for a refund before we forget. We also saw in other reviews that we are not the only person with this issue. In addition to the above, we are concerned about the lack of content, especially in the later part of the game. Could use more locations to add to the longevity of the game.
We enjoy the game but we purchased the remove ads special offer and the game still presents us with ads Ive requested a refund and re-purchased several times but still theres always ads. Ive submitted a support ticket multiple times and no one has reached out to us. Can one of the devs reach out? Its a fun game but we cant sit through ads so Im happy to pay for it. But if Im still getting ads thats a deal breaker for us.
We accidentally purchased ad free twice. Once at full price and once at a discounted price. Yet, all of the things listed as being ad free still require ads. Absolute waste.
The game is so amazing,fun and awesome.
The game is great! We love the concept of the lights and the village! The only thing that Im not a fan of is that you have to keep the app open until the lights finish lighting up the buildings! You can leave for hours and come back and the lights havent finished yet! This is really frustrating especially on buildings that take tons of bulbs! The video wheel could use some more prizes as well! Other than that its a great game.

This game is very addictive. We want more. Will you be making anymore cities for the game? Also the light bulb power on ours never goes up its always the same power. It should increase with the money when you prestige.
Gameplay is great and makes you work but you get so many opportunities for ads, even free spins are ads. Good game though.

Theres a big issue that is marking us want to stop playing when we get to b block the last 2 buildings are Q instead of q witch is a huge problem we keep prestige but nothing idk what to do it is going to take a very long time till we get Q pls fix.

Has a decent amount of ads but nothing that is excessive in our opinion. Was fun and we were hoping they would update with a new island or more buildings, but now its buggy and wont even play the ads (for rewards). It either ends up with a black screen or only the last few seconds of the ad plays & no credit is given for watching it. This causes you to miss out on numerous limited time rewards. Messaged the in game support and has not been fixed nor have we received a message back. Also if you try to uninstall & reinstall app, you have to start all over – lost a lot of progress trying to fix the ad issue. If problems are fixed we will update.
Apparently the ad button plastered to everything wasn't enough; there are also ads that play because you clicked to decline an ad. Gross. The developer has responded that we could purchase an ad-free version. We likely would have if the app didn't have forced ads. Can we revisit the fact that ADS PLAY WHEN YOU CLICK TO DECLINE AN AD.
Worst game ever dont play because it gets boring after playing a lot and just something we dont recommend wasting Time downloading.
Every time prestige takes so long to upgrade all the buildings. Please add a buy max level toggle or something. Most idle games have a selectable and max amounts of purchase. Updated to 1* they added forced ads, ad just starts while upgrading or collecting. Destroyed a otherwise great game.
So much potential wasted by covering the screen with Ads. Its gross. What a shame. Ads all around the screen, constantly floating orb ads, fast-forward ads, etc. If we were a developer at the company Id be devastated and embarrassed with what they did to the aesthetics. Heres an idea, need that many Ads? Make a skyscraper/builder game where the in-game billboards are paid-advertising. Im all for companies being rewarded for bringing in eyeballs but this is a disgrace.
Love the game. Wish the second town was easier to earn money in.
So, the first area we can get through quickly after a pristage, but the second area need WAY TOO MUCH MONEY to build more buildings. We can do like 5 then we might wait a week or longer to get enough to add another. Please make the second area less money. The upgrades NEED to go down like HALF, so we are not waiting a year for one upgrade. Other than that, it is a great game.
We really want to give this 5 stars bc we love the aesthetic and play of it for an idle game, but there are just so many ads its very disruptive to the gameplay. And like, while we understand that devs got to make money, it almost feels like the ads were implemented in such a way that was supposed to frustrate the player into buying the ad free pass But gameplay wise? We have absolutely zero complaints. Its well paced out, there isnt a sharp plateau that heavily encourages the purchase of time warps/premium currency (at least if there is we havent gotten there yet). The visuals are cute and the game benefits from being 3D rendered.
Can you add a buy max or x100 or buy to next level button! It would make prestiges easier. Otherwise, great game! Keep the updates coming.
We love the game and we want to keep playing but the last building in Block D wont unlock. It says it costs 141.80u but we have surpassed 141.80u and it does not unlock for us to buy… We want to unlock it and move to block E but it just never unlocks.
Love this game. We wouldnt mind a Max level up for buildings, instead of having to constantly hold our finger on the button.
We would love to give it 5 stars however we purchased the $4.99 gems package for the no ads (it said no ads included) but we still get ads.
We dont understand the concept of this game. Why are lightbulbs walking into houses to light them up? It doesnt make sense. Why do we make money from lit houses? (Am we the electric company?) And wheres the NO MORE ADS option? Because doing almost ANYTHING in this game requires that you watch at least one ad and there are things that require you to watch FORTY ads (and, we assume, once youve watched the thing that takes 40 ads to accomplish, you probably then have to watch something else that takes 80 ads to accomplish, and so on, ad infinitum (heh…see that? Ad infinitum. Heh.)). Not only does almost everything you can tap on the screen have a watch an ad triangle on it, but now, a panel has appeared that blocks our view of the amount of money we have at the top of the screen and expects us to watch five ads in order to do something (and, we assume, restore our ability to see how much money ive amassed by dispelling that content-blocking panel). Sorry, developers, but nothing is free that consumes 30 seconds or more of our time it costs us time, therefore it is not free, therefore youre lying about all the stuff you say is free in exchange for us watching ads. And while elective ads are better than forced ads in theory, our doing almost anything in the game requiring that we watch at least one ad essentially amounts to the ads being forced upon us. Theres one way we know of for sure to not be forced or even coerced by this app into watching ads: delete the app. Which is what Ima do. Buh-bye.
