Community Insight:
So much fun and good for the brain.
We were cleaning out the attic and found the old Simon game. Not sure that it works, but it had seen better days. Out of curiosity we checked the App Store and found several apps that mimic the old game. After checking it out we decided this game was probably the best written. Trying it out, it definitely behaves like the old game and does a wonderful job. We decided to pay the programmers as we dont like ads and they should be rewarded for their work. We have a lot of fond memories of playing this game on a boat in the Bahamas. Managed to get all the way through to the top level once or twice on the old game but so far Ive only managed to get about halfway. Great game for practicing your concentration skills. Definitely worth it.
We love this Simon ripoff! By the way, what we mean Simon is well uh, Sprunk.
Five stars we love this game it has sound all of that and has a one color mode and we love it, all we want left is we get to choose our color and we want to create our own level.
This app is fun it calms us down its fun to play with family and friends with this app.
Hi we are rodrik a 7 year old iPhone user. We use our phone on a daily basis and start our morning by playing this game.
We have been playing this game on here for years. Its the perfect balance of fun and challenge! Its just like old times and brings back memories while still being up to date. We couldnt ask for anything better, it makes some things feel complete, as we have always loved this game.
Takes us back memories. No pun intended.
Our dad use to have the Simon hand held game and we miss it . Thanks for making this and it being free.
Your will love it is the best ever.
Brings back memories of a better time and world. We used to play Al the time on the original. Still love it. Thanks.
Sooooooooooooooo much good for your memory.
We like this game because it tells you to score at the end when you lose.
This game is so one of our favorite games from our childhood! Its as authentic as possible with having the actual toy. Its also helping us rebuild our working memory, so it rehabilitating for us as well.
This game is very fun to play it tests your memory. Its a mind game and we love it.
As the joggirl, we think this really just pushes us through the day.
We play this while pooping! Helps pass the time.
When we cant calm down we play with our Simon. We had all the collection of the different Simons. Never out grow Simon.
Let us get this straight: its a clone of the original Simon game from the 70s and 80s, and this app simulates it quite well, even it plays the sound of a squeaky button when you tap the colors. The gameplay is just classic, no level ups, no experience points, no .io and no microtransactions (we mean there is a no ads upgrade, but gameplay is not affected by microtransactions) just watch and repeat and we are telling you, once you make it through 50 sequences, your brain wont know what to do! 10/10 perfect for when you have nothing but your iPhone on you.
Brings back memories of school where we first learned to play Simon our teacher brought Simon for our class to play.
We have been playing this game for a while and we love it.
Ive purchased the no adds but now there back and there is no restore purchase. What do we do.
We were feeling nostalgic so we downloaded this and its a great implementation. The execution is sharp and it has never crashed on us. Its definitely a keeper.
Y love the game because is of memory.
So we remember playing Simon all the time when we were little and its nice to find an app that simulates it. Its nice that it also has the sounds of pressing the buttons to make it feel even more realistic! Our only request is that you add support for the 5.8, 6.1 and 6.5 inch iPhone displays. It feels pretty cramped playing it on the iPhone 11.
We cant believe how realistic it is! Very cool.
Simply love it. Best memory game ever. Runs smooth on iPad Pro.
We are ABSOLUTELY in love with this app. We played Simon for hours with our brother and sister. We would see who had the longest winning streak for the day/week/month, etc. We love being able to play it on our iPhone.
We played so much with our family and loved it.
Its absolutely the same one then we remember when we were growing up only this time it without having to change batteries.
Our name is Gary we are using our wifes account at the moment. Our wife downloaded this game this morning and asked us if we would like to come stroll down memory lane for a min? Well we have a seizure disorder that has frankly taken away most of our memories, past present and future, so anyways she hands us her iPhone and it says IMimic and the picture shows Simon Says and it instantly took us back to our childhood sitting in our room with our younger brother playing this game for hours an hours. It is a memory that we hope we will never forget. We hope the person or company who created this memory lane continues to create many many more for future generations to come. Thank you very much for this opportunity to take this wonderful stroll down memory lane.
Just like Simon – but more of a challenge than we remember the plastic version being, thats a good thing. Definitely a game to distract your brain from life for a few minutes. Good job thanks guys! Originalsusie.
This game is a great game for people with great memory it should be for ages 7 and up.
Definitely play this if you love Simon! Such a fun game.
We score much better with the music.
We love the game but the sound on it has stopped and our volume is all the way up and it is on for the game it is something going on with game sound it needs to be fixed.
Grew up with this game loved it then, love it now.
It looks, feels and plays just like the original 1980s Simon game that we all knew and loved, and our parents hated, 'til we caught them playing too. The only things that this Simon lover can find missing here are the dead batteries and the old hard plastic. We were pleasantly surprised to find that even the sounds of the big old plastic buttons is made available to further the enjoyment of gameplay! In summary, we LOVE it.
This game reminds us of our childhood and memory of colors great job.
Us and our daughter play this together and it never loses it's flavor. You start the game then one of the colors lights up then you tap it and then it does the same thing and adds another color then the pattern gets longer and longer and gets more and more difficult.
The best one, ever, period! The sounds, the colors… Even the mechanic plastic noises when you press the buttons, just real.
Im glad that this game is very close to the original Simon except for some small little details that detract from its originality. We noticed that it does what a lot of Simon clones do and it is pretty close to the original, but the one problem that we have with it is that you cant hold down the lens like you could on the other game and the sound isnt quite the original sound either. Also, the original Simon didnt give you multiple tries at it. We will try playing with this a little more and see what we think but its almost there, but not quite.
How can we get the noise to come on for our iPad? For some reason its completely muted even though all other apps work just fine.
This app is really good for our gamers out there we use this to test our remembering and reaction speed while having fun our only problem is u cant costonive the buttons enough and their kinda small but other than that the app is overall really good for your brain.
We were remembering the old Simon Says game and was looking for an app to duplicate it. This may not have all the bells and whistles, but for this game it isnt needed. In general, the ads seem so unobtrusive that one doesnt need the ad-free version. We might go that route anyway to thank the developers for bringing back such a cool classic.
This game is hard because it has you to remember a lot of times and we like it because it does that.
This is very similar to the original game but what we wish you could do is turn off the speed increase. Its hard enough to remember the tone/sequence but going continually faster than the single tone at the beginning does not help us remember the pattern.
The four notes and four colors of Simon are brought back to digital life in this fine little app. We dont know if it really trains your memory, but it cant hurt.
Why does it turn orange? That's weird.
This is a good and simple game! We think it would be cool if there was a multiplayer option though. Theyre are times when we want to play this game with our friends. Other than that we love this game. It is awesome how the levels get harder and how you cannot get board of the game.
