iMimic: 80’s Vintage Electronic Memory Game Review

We score much better with the music.

We have been playing this game for a while and we love it!

Brings back memories of school where we first learned to play Simon our teacher brought Simon for our class to play!!!!

Its absolutely the same one then we remember when we were growing up only this time it without having to change batteries!!!!

Your will love it is the best ever.

Brings back memories of a better time and world. We used to play Al the time on the original. Still love it. Thanks.

As the joggirl, we think this really just pushes us through the day.

Sooooooooooooooo much good for your memory.

Let us get this straight: its a clone of the original Simon game from the 70s and 80s, and this app simulates it quite well, even it plays the sound of a squeaky button when you tap the colors. The gameplay is just classic, no level ups, no experience points, no . Io and no microtransactions (I mean there is a no ads upgrade, but gameplay is not affected by microtransactions) just watch and repeat and we are telling you, once you make it through 50 sequences, your brain wont know what to do! 10/10 perfect for when you have nothing but your iPhone on you.

We play this while pooping! Helps pass the time.

Definitely play this if you love Simon! Such a fun game!

The best one, ever, period! The sounds, the colors… Even the mechanic plastic noises when you press the buttons, just real!

Just like Simon – but more of a challenge than we remember the plastic version being, thats a good thing. Definitely a game to distract your brain from life for a few minutes. Good job thanks guys! Originalsusie.

We love the game but the sound on it has stopped and our volume is all the way up and it is on for the game it is something going on with game sound it needs to be fixed.

Grew up with this game loved it then, love it now!

It looks, feels and plays just like the original 1980s Simon game that we all knew and loved, and our parents hated, ’til we caught them playing too. The only things that this Simon lover can find missing here are the dead batteries and the old hard plastic. We were pleasantly surprised to find that even the sounds of the big old plastic buttons is made available to further the enjoyment of gameplay! In summary, we LOVE it!!

This game is a great game for people with great memory it should be for ages 7 and up.

This game is very fun to play it tests your memory. Its a mind game and we love it.

Y love the game because is of memory.

This game is so one of our favorite games from our childhood! Its as authentic as possible with having the actual toy. Its also helping us rebuild our working memory, so it rehabilitating for us as well!

Simply love it. Best memory game ever. Runs smooth on iPad Pro.

We like this game because it tells you to score at the end when you lose.

When we cant calm down we play with our Simon. We had all the collection of the different Simons. Never out grow Simon.

We’ve purchased the no adds but now there back and there is no restore purchase. What do we do ?

Us and our daughter play this together and it never loses it’s flavor. You start the game then one of the colors lights up then you tap it and then it does the same thing and adds another color then the pattern gets longer and longer and gets more and more difficult.

We played so much with our family and loved it.

We are ABSOLUTELY in love with this app. We played Simon for hours with our brother and sister. We would see who had the longest winning streak for the day/week/month, etc. We love being able to play it on our iPhone.

Our name is Gary we are using our wifes account at the moment. Our wife downloaded this game this morning and asked us if we would like to come stroll down memory lane for a min? Well we have a seizure disorder that has frankly taken away most of our memories, past present and future, so anyways she hands us her iPhone and it says IMimic and the picture shows Simon Says and it instantly took us back to our childhood sitting in our room with our younger brother playing this game for hours an hours. It is a memory that we hope we will never forget. We hope the person or company who created this memory lane continues to create many many more for future generations to come. Thank you very much for this opportunity to take this wonderful stroll down memory lane.

So we remember playing Simon all the time when we were little and its nice to find an app that simulates it. Its nice that it also has the sounds of pressing the buttons to make it feel even more realistic! Our only request is that you add support for the 5.8, 6.1 and 6.5 inch iPhone displays. It feels pretty cramped playing it on the iPhone 11.

We were feeling nostalgic so we downloaded this and its a great implementation. The execution is sharp and it has never crashed on us. Its definitely a keeper.

This game reminds us of our childhood and memory of colors great job.

We cant believe how realistic it is! Very cool.

We like to play this old school game to help improve our short-term memory skills. It loses one star because it doesn’t support older iOS versions.

We were remembering the old Simon Says game and was looking for an app to duplicate it. This may not have all the bells and whistles, but for this game it isnt needed. In general, the ads seem so unobtrusive that one doesnt need the ad-free version. We might go that route anyway to thank the developers for bringing back such a cool classic.

This is a good and simple game! We think it would be cool if there was a multiplayer option though. Theyre are times when we want to play this game with our friends. Other than that we love this game. It is awesome how the levels get harder and how you cannot get board of the game.

This is very similar to the original game but what we wish you could do is turn off the speed increase. Its hard enough to remember the tone/sequence but going continually faster than the single tone at the beginning does not help us remember the pattern.

This game is hard because it has you to remember a lot of times and we like it because it does that.

It helps us get games that our dad bus for me(0 )that is an alien (: )thats a happy person XD :)and last me.
