Find out what gamers are saying about Invisible, Inc.:

If youve played XCOM2, this game is essentially that, minus the story. It even allows you to customize specifics of your campaign, so you can decide how you want it to be difficult or easy. This is good though, especially for mobile. Its all mostly geared toward info collection and stealth. Hostile encounters are absolute: all shots hit, no one gets a health bar. This forces you carefully set the terms of each encounter ahead of it actually happening (ambushes, hacking, dones, etc.). Perhaps, our one gripe is its light on info, especially when hacking targets. Its possible to hack something that looks hostile (red), but it doesn’t appear to do anything if its not hacked, and doesnt do anything after its hacked.

If you have even a passing interest in stealth, or tactics, or turn based games, get this. One of the top, if not the top, premium games on the App Store.

Failing and starting over has been designed into this game, just like Faster Than Light. We call that limited marketing vision. Otherwise, we love this game. Its just that after about the 5th restart, its no longer fun. Just tedious. Theyre leaving money on the table with this kind of game design, in our opinion, as not everybody considers countless restarts as enjoyable, especially the paying real money for the pleasure. Plus we dont care for Desktop ports that are not really adopted for iOS. Using the mouse pointer Desktop icons, which are always too small, etc.

Great game combining shadow run and net runner, with a hint of Xcom.

A must buy if you’re into stealth (turn based) games.

We really enjoy playing this game, and Im a big fan of sneak games. Only thing that would make it better? Having more stories to play – the current (only) one is great, but you can only play it so many times before it gets boring. More quests would just be great!! Great game.

Challenging, but has good replayability.. The harder levels require considerable attention span and focus to beat.

Made by Klei. ‘Nuff said. We’ve waited for this to come out on iOS ever since it was released for PC. And it was worth the wait. Worth every penny. Our only gripe was the really long load time for levels. But they just dropped an update that improves load times drastically. If you like turn-based play and/or stealth games, this is a no-brainer. Klei hit this one out of the park.

If you are interested in this kind of games (turn based, stealth, rogue-like progression), then this is the best one you can get. We hope they’ll release the DLC as well.

This game has plenty of accolades but adding our two cents. Put the fantastic art work and design aside and youll find a perfectly balanced game. Its the simple but challenging puzzles that engage us. Invisible Inc does just that. Not a ton of character modifications but enough to engage you in thinking how to approach situations. A handful of different missions but not a massive endless world unless you designate it so. A limited set of characters but with unique characteristics. A simple but compelling story. This is mastery of the art of game creation. Well done.

We love the game, there is a learning curve, so be ready, but overall, great game, only had one bad game we couldn’t escape.

We really love the game. We just wish the game was iphone compatible. Some big strategy titles (such as Rome Total War and Civilizations) recently brought iphone support. Please consider the same. We would even pay again to have this game on our iphone.

Beautiful great game, one of the best stealth games we have ever played!

We would happily pay for more content, expansions and/or buy another game like it. Having beaten it after a month or so, we wish there were more to this amazing concept. Please make more!

Please release the Contingency Plan DLC!

Excellent Game! It takes the Xcom type experience to a refreshing new level. Keep up the good work! Please come out with expansion DLC or part 2!! If you like sneak/stealth games…. This is a must have!!1.

What a cool game and concept, was hoping for more story and a longer game we beat it so fast….. Please release more stages or story… People will pay for an expansion.

We have been interested in this title on pc for a while but had not gotten around to downloading it with all the other titles already sitting in our backlog of shame. While visiting family for the holidays we figured we would give it a try on our iPad 2017. It looks to be a direct port of the pc title and so far it has been great. We saw a few people asking for mfi controller support and while that is always welcome it is not necessary imo. This title seems to work great with touch controls and being turn based it is well suited to the iOS platform. The game is great fun and has been very well received by the press on multiple platforms. We would suggest reading some of those reviews to learn more about the specifics of the game. One huge feature that put it over the top for us was how scalable/flexible the difficulty can be. As we play more games on the iPad we have been looking for two things. Either mfi support for action based games or turn based games. We really dont enjoy touch controls for action games on iOS. The problem with most turn based games for us is we are relatively new to turn based tactical games and they usually kick our butt. Even on the easier difficulties XCOM has its way with us…. Im still learning. This game has four or five difficulty levels but within those levels it has customizable switches and parameters for various events in the game. These would include items like escalating alarm levels, how long a guard will stay down if knocked out, how many rewinds you get per level etc. The end result is you have a turn based tactical game with incredible production values and gameplay, that can be set very specifically to the level of challenge you would like. This also allows it to be almost infinite replay value based on the parameters you set and the fact that all the levels are randomly generated. For us it has been really enjoyable to get started with, and now we can go back and make it a bit harder as we learn the nuances of the game. Anyway, if you have an interest in turn based tactical games we dont think you can go wrong with Invisible Inc. On a newer iPad.

This is the second platform we have purchased this game on (first was PS4) so let us just say how exciting it is to have a portable version of Invisible Inc. While the learning curve is a little steep (your choices in those first two days DO matter and if you don’t plan accordingly you will have a very difficult time on the latter missions) we find the challenge doesn’t put us off to playing it, instead, we want to get better at playing it. If we could make two suggestions that we’re sure many people would appreciate: the expansion and mfi controller support (I got used to playing the game with a PS4 controller and just find it easier to use without worry I’d accidentally select the wrong action). I’d be happy to pay for both as they would both make playing this game on our iPad even more enjoyable. Excellent job Klei!

We should have noticed this hasnt gotten an update in 6 years! Please update the gameplay area at least to go to the edges for all iPads. The gaps on the sides are massive. Please!

We have been trying to FIGURE out how to enjoy this game! It’s not at all intuitive and the tutorial is lackluster. We have been googling how to play the darn game! It’s a bit overwhelming, we’re not a teen with hours of time to waste learning how to play an iOS game. Oh well… We’re sure those who can understand the gameplay, love it.

One of those sadistic games that makes you replay levels over and over, but are impossible to win. Total waste of money.

In our experience this is a great game but due to the corporates increasing their security all the teleporters out a guarded by vault doors that you can only access with a vault key even the executive levels where you get the Volvo key are guarded by those vault doors in the game so it becomes impossible we would love to continue endless forever (possible fixes for the situation) . Never include vault doors that guard the teleporter . Make levels a tiny bit easier like maybe get rid of the recapturing feature . Let us shut down those dang robots Overall the game is a great game but need some fixes.

Unfun game, story is very short and no updates are given with real value.

Good Job! Love the cyberpunk and stealth genres and this game covers the bases with polish and finesse. Now you just need depth. You’ve created some interesting characters that we would like to know more about. Go in a few levels deeper with this wonderful engine you’ve created. Eg. A relationship system between partners that carries forward between playthrus that unlocks story quests? Give us a a pot at the end of the rainbow besides a high score. Even something like banter between different characters in-mission or between missions would be welcome. Like an npc lobby mode. Immerse us moar in this world you created.

We were very excited to hear that Klei finished porting this game from PC. One of our favorites, and it works well on iPad. Loading screens require some patience (on our older iPad) but once you are in the game runs smoothly. If you are looking for a challenging single player strategy/tactics type game with no time pressure, this is an excellent choice.

Have played this extensively on PC. This is a wonderful port to iOS. Took us totally by surprise, but am stoked to have this on our iPad. You can’t go wrong with this game if you are into deep, stylish thinky strategy games. A+

Easily a favorite. Good controls, great play, challenging without frustration. Nice balance.

It was great on desktops and it has been translated really well to iPads. Really good stuff.

GET IT AHHH IT IS SURPRISINGLY HARD AND we AM ONLY ON BEGINNER MODE we AM FREAKING OUT we FEEL LIKE A FREAKING NINJA SPY excuse the all caps BUT GET THE HINT.

We love this game, and am so happy to have it on mobile. We do miss the DLC characters, though… Draco in particular. Help us help you!

They took the best parts of XCOM, The Matrix, and Tron and made this fun game. Great graphics, gameplay, music, and voice acting. They don’t pull that pay to win BS either. We paid 1 time for the game and that was it. In a sea of garbage freemium mobile games this game shines.

High leverage decisions on every turn. You must adapt your strategy based on what options your team is given, a bit like FTL.

Hoped and pleaded to have this game on mobile loved it on PC It is only better now that we can take it with us.

Turn based like xcom, futuristic corporation vs thief and you are thief. Somewhat silly storyline, but awesome gameplay. Great mechanics, easy to learn. VERY customizable. If you want impossible, ok, if you want easy peasy, ok. Play how you like… Thank You!!!!1.

TL;DR- B U Y T H we S ! Let us start by saying that we played the game and wrote this review on an iPad Air 2, and we’ve already bought this and all of the DLC of this game on PC and loved the game to death. The port is the full base game that we loved, but with no option for the DLC (to be added later we assume; after all, it has only been available for about a day now). The base game itself however is well worth the price. We’ve already reviewed the game on steam, and if you want to see a bunch of reviews for this game that already exist, look for the reviews on the bottom of its Steam Store page. We’ve done two full playthroughs on this device on normal and hard and haven’t run into any game-breaking bugs, but did manage to find some small ones. -Dragging certain OMNI-corp guards causes them to become invisible -When staying in the "tactical view", danger zones don’t refresh when a turn passes ~ But other than these, the game runs consistently and smoothly considering the hardware. We didn’t have any noticeable frame drops except for once when we sprinted behind a crowd of 6-7 guards on turn 28 of the final mission. The game lagged a little as all of them played the "alerted" sound and visual effects, but we suppose it can’t be helped with the hardware being as it is and this being a port from PC. So yea, in short, BUY THIS GAME!

It is a niche game but a great one nonetheless.

Fantastic strategic gameplay with well thought out mechanics, beautiful art/style, and a solid story. We’re giving it a five regardless of the one area we think it could have explored that would have made it a masterpiece. We feel like there is a huge missed opportunity in the story. It’s clear the developers have put thought into the backstory of the characters and corporations. Like a strategy game like Starcraft, this could have been built with a progressive story that explored the world of invisible inc, and all of the various corporations it attacks. It could have done the same with backstory of the characters. Instead of unlocking them maybe you get them to join over time with all of that leading up to the story we get. Great gameplay – but having to replay the same story over and over gets tedious. It seems like the engine is so strong that some preconfigured scenarios that build up the players experience, flesh out the world, and grow an attachment to the characters, would have been an even more impressive approach.

Great port of a wonderful PC game. We’ve no complaints, except we wish it supported plus sized iPhones!

It’s a perfect cyberpunk spy experience. Easy to learn but hard to master. We would gladly pay more for this game, it has incredible value unlike most other App Store games. We only wish we get the extra character DLC just like in the pc version. Let’s hope we get it sooner then later.

Really sings on the iPad Pro. Top notch art, voice acting, and gameplay. People talk a lot about this being when of the best tactical games ever made for a reason. I’d never played it before, but love Don’t Starve by this same developer, so we gave it a try. Hooked. For $5 or $20, this game is amazing if you’re a fan of the genre. If you’re not, you still might like it as it’s very accessible despite having immense depth.

This is just the best strategy game there is. The gameplay is smooth and challenging. It can be short or long depending on how you customize your gameplay and is randomized so every run through is surprising and fun. Definitely worth the money.

Great game. Fantastic turn-based implementation. The story is interesting (the first time through – the ending is always the same so subsequent plays render the story itself kinda moot). The random level generator keeps things interesting too. Sometimes your exit will be incredibly conveniently located. Sometimes, you’re going to have wind your way back to where you started to get out. Keeps it fun.

Tense turn-based fun. You infiltrate high tech locations. Sneak past or take out a variety of guards and security systems. Grab the data or goods or money or imprisoned operative you’re looking for. Then you have to get out alive. Plus, it has a story with high quality narration in between gameplay missions. The descriptions of the various agents at your disposal are especially fun.

We’ve played hours of this game on the PS4 and the IPad is an even better fit. If you like Xcom or turn based games then immediately download this awesome game. Bravo developers!

We are really enjoying playing the game, but we primarily downloaded it because we thought the lovely icon would look nice next to our Battleplans and DuoLingo app icons. Unfortunately, as soon as we downloaded the game the icon turned into an ugly question mark. We hope this is fixed in the next update.

This is a neat game, but there are a couple things to know: (1) it’s not really a casual gamelevels take a while to play through and overall the game requires a significant time investment; (2) the UI has lots of tiny buttons and while the orthogonal display looks good, it’s fussy to work with and figure out where things are; a top-down view wouldn’t look as cool, but we would be much more effective.

The game is nice in concept but lacks intuitive controls. This limitation leaves the user focusing on game mechanics vs. The missions. Once you become used to how the game works, it’s fun. But, it takes a while to get there.

If the game is not what you expected, and you uninstalled it, the company does not refund your money, and apple will not help.
