STORY
First there was iPhone in all its glory with its magnificent capacitive touch screen which enabled typing at rapid speeds, comparable to computer physical keyboards.
This gave birth to a new wave of innovation, including iTextSpeed.
iTextSpeed allowed you to discover just how quickly you could type on a 3.5inch display, the results were astonishing.
It shot up the charts, amazed at the ability of iPhone to keep up with lightening fast fingers, & for fingers to so quickly tap away as the words appeared on screen, incredible speeds of 89 Words Per Minute were achieved & iTextSpeed was downloaded over 500,000 times.
This lead iTextSpeed to become the metric for the world's fastest typists on iPhone.
DESCRIPTION:
Type the words as quickly as possible don't worry about hitting every letter perfectly and watch your speeds take off to the skies!
To begin type the word at the top of the screen, or in the textfield and and tap space to advance.
Type as many words as you can before the timer runs out.
You can set the timer to 15, 30, 60, and 120 seconds for random and slang word bundles.
Word Bundles let you choose between various texts to type including:
- Biblical truths
- Historical speeches
- US Government Documents
- Vocabulary Sight words
- Custom content – Allows you to set the text to something of your choosing

Recent improvements include:
Dark mode!
Bug fixes and and tweaks to keep iTextSpeed working well with new devices and iOS versions.
Fixed a bug that caused achievement unlock banners to display too frequently.
Updated the criteria used to post scores to the leaderboard, which should resolve scores.
Lots of new things in the works, including a new monetization plan that will keep iTextSpeed fresh, and launch into more fun in the future.
Implemented ads which will hopefully generate enough increase in revenue to free up my time so I can hopefully get around to adding some of the awesome features planned for updates in the near future!

There is not much to do. It's an okay app, but there's isn't a lot to do. We thought there would be like different levels, different words, sentences, but every time you restart it's pretty much the same. Overall, 2/5.
Well we played today and got 76 words per minute as our best on our history for the app. But the leaderboard says our best is 7.5 WPM. Please Fix.
We love that iTextSpeed is connected to Game Center. Our fianc likes to send us challenges…although he's at 60 WPM and we'd be lucky to make it pass 48 WPM! Practice practice practice. >.< WARNING: This game may make you slightly more competitive lol.
This is the best typing game ever we've had and we've been looking for one for ever! Also all the other ones are bad but this one is great even though they give 15 seconds per try but makes it more challenging but very very fun.
Its fun but u only get 15seconds.
We just got this today and we have a record of 63WPM. Oh, and our record for number of words is 15. This is fun and a great way to improve typing skills. We recommend this to new typers and previously skilled typers. All in all, fun for anyone.
It improves our texting. It's addicting. There isn't enough time. U should be able to change the time setting. But u have to buy it to do that.
It is hard to type on an iPhone 4S keyboard on an iPhone 5 screen. We are not used to a keyboard that size. The app needs to take up the whole screen on the iPhone 5.
We think its a very good idea… But we think that you should not get it because its not worth 99 cents and with the free version, you only get a small amount of game time which gets kind of annoying. Hope this helped.

It's fun and good practice but it's a big challenge and u only get 15 seconds.
Great app! But the real version should be free.
No update for iOS 6 or 7, you have the only app like this so you may as well take advantage of your current monopoly on this app.
You can only text landscape. Which we never see anyone do on iPhones/iPods.
You can only text long ways not like this Qwertyuiop Asdfghjkl Zxcvbnm if you want a app to to with a iPod touch you should get text free with voice.
A lot better than text race. So FUN.

THIS IS THE RADDEST GAME EVER!! But it looks like they only spent like 50 cents on making it. CHEEPO.
..a little more to the free version would be nice. We think it has potentional but we lost interest quickly.
It's ok..but just kuz it's the lite version y can't it have a bit more.
