About the Developer
Hapatus is the creative outlet for solo projects of Antti Tiihonen. He is one of the masterminds behind Legend of Grimrock -series of dungeon crawling RPGs where he created tons of puzzles, levels, game design, audio and graphics as a warmup excercise for Stuffo ;). He has also worked on titles such as Noita, Control, Alan Wake and Druidstone.

Recent improvements include:
- Prevented unwanted solutions in Dissipation and Hoist.
- Tweaked some level decorations.
- Added missing level thumbnail.
- Bug fix: Cloned blocks were not updated if player picks up the source block and the duplicator is immediately occupied by another block.
- Bug fix: Background panels did not flash when misplacing a block if the level had been restarted.
- Bug fix: Player could end up inside a closed gate if its state was toggled while carrying it
- Bug fix: Player was able to fall through some piston blocks when undoing

One of the best puzzle games Ive ever played. So so many times, Id say to ourselves, there is no way this works, this is not possible. Then, sometime later, Id find a way. This is a very challenging and rewarding game.
If you are a puzzler play this game. Tip of the hat on puzzle design. We felt like we were back in the 90s. And the pixel art is stunning. Where can we get more of your games.
Don't let the graphics be the determining factor. This game is all about the puzzles. You move the robot around, picking up and placing items, in order to reach destinations (atoms, and/or the exit). It seems simple when described… But it's not. These are very well thought out puzzles. There is no timer, no penalties, no coins to buy, no ads, and no rush. Just the puzzles. We like that. We also like that this game has a 'back one step' feature. If you get yourself stuck, you do not have to start over on that level. This game also has gamepad support. The screen controls are fine. We just prefer a gamepad. Some of these puzzles, when first viewed, can look simplistic or impossible. When you finally solve a particularly challenging one, you find yourself thinking how clever this really is. You have to try it. Don't look at videos with solutions to see what this is about. It will ruin it for you. If you like a great puzzler, get this. One suggestion for the developer: Offer a free 'demo' version with a few levels so more people will try this.
We love the gameplay. It is simple and straightforward in terms of mechanics, but challenging in just the right ways to make the puzzles very fun. We love the retro style graphics and sound, while still retaining a somewhat modern feel with the effects. We really appreciate that they let you purchase the game instead of drowning you with in app purchases.. Im also thankful for the clean, minimal menus in the game. So many games have waaay too many menus.. We end up deleting apps that have us spending more times in menus than in actual gameplay. We really am grateful for this game. We will be looking out for any others by this developer. They have restored our trust that fun games are still out there.
There is no instruction or help. Game play is awkward. Waste of money.
If youre unsure of whether or not to buy this game because of the outright cost, let us be clear, this is a very fun puzzle game. None of the puzzles require being fast, so they are extremely welcoming to people with different mobility or needs. We will say our only gripe is some of the puzzles seemed to exploit physics of some of the objects. Other than that 10/10. Frankly, any game that doesnt spam you with ads, that isnt clogged with scummy micro transactions, and is a fun game deserves 5 stars. Within the time we started playing the game, 3 free levels were added. The developer(s) of this game are passionate and sincere, and absolutely deserve your patronage.
Their dedication to the user community and prompt replying to customer feedback is what drove us to purchase this. A great game cant stand on its own without the developers commitment. We have bought too make games that never went beyond v1.0. You want to know if your app will have any shelf life? Look at the Revision History. See how its supported by the developer. Then you will see if it has a chance with the next OS, device or hardware change that will eventually occur at some point. The developer looks committed to this one. A very good sign.

Great little gem of a game! Lovely pixel art style (tiny pixels, not 8-bit), pleasing music, fantastic puzzles that are just the right difficulty.
Its been a while since Ive played a puzzle game that balances difficulty with satisfaction this well. The mechanics are simple at first glance but the way the game introduces the more complex ways those mechanics interact with each other is incredible. They say they are going to add more levels, which is great, but even as it stands its definitely worth the price for someone who is into puzzle games that are on the harder side but not overwhelming tiring like a lot of the more difficult puzzle games are.
We have written maybe a handful of reviews and only on games that really stand out to us. This is one of the most fun puzzle games we have played in a long time. Very satisfying puzzles that are tricky but not too tricky. Plays in portrait which is a huge plus in our book. We also am a sucker for the awesome pixel art. The controls are very simple and easy to pick up and play. This and is perfect to be able to jump in and out with ease. Just an awesome mobile title all around. We cant wait to see what all the dev adds in the future.
Just wonderful, perfect touch controls with (so far) no timing/dexterity based puzzles, which was our main concern. Excellent puzzles, focused on what makes puzzle games satisfying with little busywork cluttering each concept.
This is a real challenge. Simple gameplay and addictive. Love it.
Back when GameTap was a thing, we discovered a fantastic Japanese Sega Mega Drive (Genesis) puzzler series called Pyramid Magic. This game brings that same gameplay back and takes it even further. New game mechanics, a friendlier control scheme, and one-handed portrait play all without us having to bust out an emulator. Thank you.
Stuffo does a great job of making the puzzles challenging without being so frustrating youll want to go find a walkthrough. (Especially when youre getting the atoms as well.). Excited to see the future levels, too.
Really enjoyed the pixel art – it absolutely did not have to go as hard as it did. Puzzles are fun and build in a satisfying way. Big highlight for us is the really excellent control scheme which makes it super easy to play one handed, which we think is great for a quick pick up and play, portrait mode game.
