We love this game and play it regularly. We have not gotten tired of it and it remains challenging as you can tweak past performances. Yes it is an old game, but, compared to many new ones, this is a standout!! We love how you have to use your brain and that there are no in app purchases. When discussing games we always encourage people to check it out. We just wish they would either make a Jelly Defense II or upgrade with more levels. We wholeheartedly recommend this game. Trust us…..
This app is awesome and we completely disagree with the people that think this game isnt that good.
We purchased this app more than 10 years ago when it first came out. We love the different towers and personalities of the jellies. L have played the levels over and over trying to completely master each level and not lose any gems, continually trying to beat our highest scores. We wish there were more levels, we would pay again just to get those. 100% recommend if you like strategy, tower defense, puzzle games.
Our son got this years ago, and the catchy little tunes and beautiful, quirky graphics caught our attention. We got it myself, and years later, it is still our favorite tower defense game. We love the fact that we’re not spammed by in-app purchases. Jelly Defense, Plants vs Zombies, Catan, and Carcassonne seem to be the only games that survive our frequent game purges.
Ingenious puzzles to solve. Complex layouts keep you thinking. Not easy but worth the effort. Wonderful.!
Big fan of the TD genre, picked this up on a whim and was blown away! Cute music, gorgeous graphics and very quirky atmosphere add up to a wonderful game to show off your iPad 2’s graphic capabilities. Dialogue hints at eastern European origins but we think it adds to the uniqueness of the game. Plus the home planet is a cool, one-eyed turtle/dinosaur jamming out to tunes! Who thinks of that! You’ll want to get this one… Trust us! Paaa pare paaa pare… 2/2019 – Any news on a sequel? Kickstarter can help with money!
This game makes us hungry for jelly and no game makes us feel like that Maybe you to.
Challenging-great music-gorgeous graphics-what more could you want besides a sequel! If ever a game was worthy of a sequel it is this one. They could even keep the graphics from the original and even the music and itd be we worthy of a game. Not sure why that never happened. Thats the only gripe for an otherwise job very well done.
Where is 2.0? Or at least an update… Some new zones, etc. We love this game!

This is a great game but its still very hard but good.
This game is a challenge and we love that. It started out to be really easy, but it got harder pretty fast. An excellent game for people who love tower defense games and is also a challenge for everyone.
Insanely addicting. We love this game so much, we’ve finished every level multiple times. It can be challenging, but that’s because its complex. Once you come to understand every aspect of the game, you can really do well. And it is so much more absorbing and intricate than most games. Make sure you put your towers in spots where they are most effective—you can tell if it’s a good spot by how quickly it is leveling up. PLAY THIS GAME, IT IS WORTH IT! PLEASE make a Jelly Defense 2!!!!
This is a really hard tower defense game! It doesnt baby you at all. If you are new to TD games, you might want to start with one that ramps up the difficulty slowly, like the Kingdom Rush games. But if you want to jump right in and really work for your win, this is great. Its also good looking, a nice bonus. Highly recommended TD game for aficionados!
We love this game – the artistic elements, the challenge, the whole thing. Tip! When you beat the game, meaning getting a perfect score on every section (and you can) and reaching 100% completion on the globe, there is a little secret you can find where you can play the whole globe again on a new level (at a little harder difficulty). This game is our daily brain break and Im now at 1000% level…!
Im at the point where we keep an old non-updated iPhone just so we can play this game. Please update it so that it can work with the the latest iOS. Its basically a tower game but we love how it becomes challenging as you progress and its not as violent as most tower games, so you can focus on the strategy aspect of the gam and not the blood. The sound effects and soundtrack are are enjoyable and really add to the great quality of the game. If you get stuck on a particular level, there are walkthroughs on YouTube.
How do we clear the data so we can have a fresh restart?
This was one of our fav games as a kid, really fun for young ages.
Infinite dreams, it seems like you guys are back in buisiness. This is a hugely successful app, its so much fun, and we feel like you guys could make loads of dough (and make lots of people happy) with a sequel.
Hands down one of the best tower defense games on iOS. We are surprised this game is not talked about more. Easily our top 5 strategy games and its not pay to win!!!

We’re embarrassingly addicted to this game. We so wish they would come out with new levels or a new world to play!
Only reason no 5th star is that it is hard as balls for a tower defense game.
This game among many other td games stands out boldly. This games major difference is that its far less of a defense and far more of an offense. The player needs to be able to quickly sell, place and upgrade towers when necessary, alongside making decisions on what towers you will research. The hardest are the winter levels, the second one giving us the greatest challenge yet to beat. Not even the people online could have a vid of it perfected. For this appearing as just a simple kids td game about jellies, it is very advanced. If you look for a fun td game to challenge you, go right ahead. For the casual gamers however, this game will frustrate you. We recommend getting the piggy bank down as fast as possible and getting it to lv 2, its cash generation is insane if you can set your defenses up right. It grants you a percent of your cash at the end of a wave, or when the last jelly dies of that wave. It starts at 10%, but gets you to 25-30%. You can easily end up with more cash than you know what to do with! Anyways, for those looking for a challenge, get this, the more casual players or little kids, its gonna be a touch road.
This is one of the best games of this kind. The only thing it needs is the update so the screen would fit the whole on iPhone X/XS etc.
Dont mind but we loved your jelly band game when we were 5 we used to play jelly band all the time but this game got way harder we cant even get past the first level! So can you make it easier plz.
Former review: we love this game so much it’s not even sensible. The graphics, music, and gameplay are all top-notch. We hope for more boards to play! January 2018: the most recent update made some changes that don’t make sense. The final levels now much harder than it used to be, but not more fun or anything. Please update again and fix that and add a level or two!!

We really liked this game at first, would have given 5*, but then, it got much too hard, much too fast. Its no fun having to play and lose the same level, the same way, 30 or 40 times in a row. We ended up giving up and deleting it. Too bad, it had so much potential.
Game NEEDS a difficulty level setting!!!! Game is NOT FUN the way it is without a difficulty setting!!! Some levels are IMPOSSIBLE to play!! Please fix!!!
It need balance or difficulty setting it too difficult some stages you need to repeat The stage 20 times to get right even so two seconds late in action you loose immediately It is too frustrating we stop playing we will not buy from this developer anything.
Very difficult to play some balance since no info about incoming monsters (their hp, number, colors), costly towers and not clear path.
Horrible game would never play again a lot of lag and crashed 10 times and now had it for 20 mins.
We spent money on this app and our phone keeps saying it is no longer available in the App Store.

We’ve been playing this game for about 2 years and it has the best replay value. Waiting for more levels. Why this isn’t top of the charts is beyond us.
Ok, so nothing groundbreaking, but this is a very solid and fun tower defense game. We’re glad to see it still works on iOS 9 on our new iPhone 6s. We wish they would come out with a sequel, or at least an update to add some new levels.

We were looking for a tower defense game as well designed as Plants vs. Zombies and this one delivers. It’s more challenging than P vs Z but in a good way. Highly recommend.

This is an awesome tower defense and strategy game. Don’t believe the reviews that say the towers and jellies are all the same. Those people didn’t make it far enough in the levels or work through the tower upgrades to see the variations and how they affect your strategy to win a level. The soundtrack is engaging and pleasant. The graphics are fun. It took us a few months of off and on effort to finish all levels. We wish there were more levels, but this game was well worth the 2.99 to us.
This is the best tower defense game on iPhone! We don’t know why they haven’t made a second Jelly Defense game but we’re BEGGING them to!
