A Glimpse into Journey of Return
It is a puzzle game based on the chessboard of draughts.
The main story is about a fox finding the meaning of its own existence, and experiencing its previous life in this fancy world.
The story mode has levels with six different playing methods, and new levels with combinations of each two of previous six play methods. So there are over 100 different levels to get through in total. Players can attempt more challenging levels in the game.
In the infinite mode, players try to get the highest scores possible in each round. So players can compete against each other through Game Center.

Wow , if u puzzles fan this one is a must have, lol actually ty for having this one for free , we purshaed less games with money ..
It’s another masterpiece in the App Store! Can’t stop playing this gameGg.
This games set up is really pretty, & the concept is what drew us in. Though it’d be nice if the instructions were a tiny bit clearer you get the rules after playing a bit. Also the game ends abruptly which kills the "build up" vibe you get after lvls. So unless there’s a2nd it’s kinda disappointing. Still fun & we loved the way it looked, so we don’t mind it much just wish it was longer.
This game’s art is beautifully rendered, and the music and sound effects are soothing. Constant ad interruptions make the $1 price to remove them worth it. However, in between the puzzles is the fox’s story, which cannot be read as the faint letters flash on the screen briefly, sometimes running out of vision, and there’s no way to go back and reread what was said. What we’ve been able to read hasn’t always been clear as it is. Images can be somewhat disturbing at times, not for small children to watch on certain levels (e.g. Dead fox hung from its leg on a tree branch).
Absolutely amazing! The graphics are through the roof, and the puzzles covering the story give the game a suspense that reminds us of The Witness. While the text for the story could be displayed for a little longer, the overall construction is mind-blowing. Bravo, and keep ’em coming!
This game is good overall, but you should be able to read the story lines again.

We were initially captivated with the beautiful graphics, but the text in story mode was hard to read/moved too quickly to read and not in very clear English. We have very little idea what the story was about. That being said, we wish the story was more understandable and that story mode would have been longer and with more challenging puzzles added near the end. But this kept us interested for about an hour and a half. Needs some improvements.
Pretty. Sounds good. But uninspiring gameplay and way way too many ads.
The story is cute, the puzzles intriguing… But for a game we actually purchased, in our opinion, there shouldn’t be any ads. Ads in free games, we’ve come to expect… But why do we need to endure them endlessly when we’ve already given coin?
We keep experiencing launch problems when opening up the app. We think that their maybe some code error seeing that re-downloading the app doesn’t seem to fix anything. Please give some insight to this so we can play such a beautiful looking and promising game as this.
We downloaded this game yesterday. The story is beautiful and the puzzles are fun. However, it crashes constantly.
No matter when we downloaded it, when we tried to open the game it’d just cut back to our home screen. We never got a chance to play the game at all.
This game crashes when we start the game.
We can’t get the app to work. We have an iPhone 6s and we open story mode and we just sit and stare at a blank space. When we go to whatever the other mode is it says we can’t until we have 3 memories from story mode… Maybe a lil help?
We’ve downloaded this game but when we want to play it .. It shuts off… We’ve deleted & tried it again & still won’t play…. Any suggestions.
Seriously this game looked sooo good with the fox and everything, but then we tried it and it was another one of those STUPID PUZZLE GAMES!!!! Why are there literally no other games on the App Store besides puzzle games, especially the good-looking ones. Please, app creators, stop making these. Nobody plays them anymore, cause they’re ssooooo 2016! Haha ok byeeee.
Whenever we try to open it, it won’t open.
We love the graphics of this game, but we feel the instructions could be clearer, and there could be a tutorial. Overall, although we love the game’s intro and concept, it doesn’t keep us hooked.
We loved this game so much but its not updated enough to play on our iphone anymore. We wish they would update it.
This game is beautiful and an absolute must-have for all devices. But there is one thing about it that we question. We know that it adds to the aesthetic of the game but, text in each cutscene is a little to fast and faint. That’s it. Otherwise this is an awesome game. (Also we love foxes ;D )
No more ads if u turn off the wifi and cellular data! It’s a short game(20-30mins) but very wonderful if u r somehow boring and want a few challenges. It is a beatifically designed game. We m very picky on graphics, yet it’s satisfying.

The game is wonderful, the story’s deep (I shed a few tears a couple of times) and the music’s lovely! Our only suggestion is that you should be able to read the storylines again.

The story line and the graphics were awesome and the faint sound of music was cool. We thought it was very creative and fun to play but we wish there were more levels. We got this game yesterday and we finished to today. Hope to see more.
We thought it was gorgeous and the puzzles were fun and not too complex but every single flower complete is an ad. Do a treasure chest, ad, we didn’t even get to see what was inside because of all the ads. Yes we see there is an ad option to remove them but why not just make the game $1 and have ads off immediately. It would have lead to us completing the game and raving about it but instead we uninstall the game right away because of this dumb garbage. Greed ruins good things so great job on the game we’ll never even bother with because of it.

We didn’t much care for the game itself but the story was enough to keep us going. We never thought we could get feels from a puzzle game.
This makes you think and the graphics are stunning. The story is good and we definitely recommend this app.
This game is bags of fun but the fact that we tells you the correct move so much really takes away from the fact of it being a puzzler.
We really love this game, it’s fun, and what we can catch from the story is interesting… But there are a few things wrong with it. All of the things wrong with it have to do with the way the story is given to us. Mainly, and other people have complained about this too, you can’t read it fast enough. The text flashes on screen for about a second and a half, and is about 20-25 words each time. Also, we e noticed that only about one level per area gives us part of the story, and what it gives us is VERY fragmented, as in, we think there is much more to the story, but it isn’t showing up when we finish a level. Of course this could be wrong and the story could be that way, but then it would be nonsensical and unbelievably sad and confusing.
It was fun and interesting except for the ads. We expected ads since it was a free game, and we don’t mind ads in free games. But the amount of ads in this game was annoying. After almost every level, which are very short, there would be another ad. There’s the normal amount of ads, then there’s this game.
We love this and the graphics are amazing and it seems like a fun game, but after every short puzzle set, there’s another freaking ad. 70 percent of it is ads and 30 is a nice game.
We’re not opposed to ads for a free game, though I’d rather pay and remove them; but the volume of ads in this is absurd.
Journey of Return looks lovely, and probably would be another stunning indie puzzler if not for the glaring issues presented within the first two minutes of play. Starting with, don’t give away the first move within two seconds of loading a level! What’s the point of a puzzle if not to solve it? Secondly, an ad every round is a bit ridiculous. We rather have a small ad at the bottom constantly than a full page ad that is hard to click out of. Thirdly, as others have said, the text flys by much too fast. Even though we read rather quickly, we felt rushed when reading what story was made available. And on top of that, the text is sometimes difficult to read against the dynamic backdrop. We wouldn’t recommend getting this game until some of these issues are resolved by the game devs.
There are so many ads. The game isn’t addictive enough to sit through the ads to play the game.

We tried to "play" this game, but when ever we try to play it, the game crashes. At this point we don’t even know why we downloaded this game. Please explain to us why it crashes!
There’s literally an ad after every round. We were over it within minutes.
Beautiful sounds and imagery, enchanting! In story mode the lines are faint, obstructed by graphics, and gone before we have a chance to read them. Very few levels in story mode, finished in 2 days. The other mode had a different kind of puzzle. On 3rd day the app crashed in perpetual "updating" mode. It will neither cancel, pause nor complete the update, and we can’t delete the app.
