Description

Meet Jumbline 2, the most addictive word game in the App Store. Scramble and twist your brain to make words from jumbled lines of letters. Simply rearrange the scrambled letters into words, and underline them with your finger to score points; find and underline the largest word and you advance to the next level.

Play in a relaxing un-timed mode, or put your skills up against the clock in timed rounds.

Jumbline 2 includes two additional games: Cloud Pop and Star Tower. In Cloud Pop, your goal is to pop as many clouds as possible, by spelling words out of the letters carried in each cloud. In Star Tower, your task is to build the tallest tower you can, before it sinks into the ground, by making and staking words out of an infinitely jumbled line of letters. The larger the word, the slower your tower sinks, so scramble and twist your brain to think big!

Jumbline 2 is ideal for fans of Scrabble, Words With Friends, TextTwist. Play with friends and family cooperatively, or fly solo.

Jumbline 2+ Reviews

Intuitive play. Good options. Several different place styles. NO ADS!

This game has taxed our thinking and has increased our vocabulary! We hope we can retain all the many words which would help us when we play Srabble! We are at level 6000 and find it as fulfilling as when we began!

Would love to play this game on our iPhone 12 with iOS16…. Great game!! We can only play on our old mini iPad.

Nice game! Its a bit more fun when there is a reward to achieving levels but still a nice chill game.

Thanks for opportunity to enjoy this exercise as an elder of 73 we practice daily for sharpness.

Very addictive game but which there was to play without words that just add s at the end. I.

Two or three anagrams with a cop of coffee certainly gets the brain cells moving. Would prefer single dictionary choice – like UK English – but am picking up the American vernacular slowly.

This game is lots of fun to play and we’ve learned since new words. The rounds are challenging. Very addictive.

Love this game. Challenging but fun.

Not everyone has a brain that sorts letters into words quickly. When you run out of time, it is very frustrating. Having a frowning face tell you that you didnt do well is discouraging.

This is an entertaining game if you enjoy word games, which we do. We’ve been playing it for years. The only problem with it is the number of legitimate words it doesnt accept, such as gorse, or rape. We wish it had a better dictionary.

Swear words are words, as is slang. They should be included. Stop with the banners on the levels youve completed. Theyre annoying and dont allow you to review your puzzle. Otherwise a great game.

Far too often accepted words are some obscure scientific or highly technical word and many common words not recognized at all. That gets frustrating and prevents a better rating. Also the suggest a word option does not work.

We actually really like the way this word game is laid out – and we’ve tried a lot of word games. But the creators didnt include so many everyday words that it eventually gets really frustrating to type in a word that is obviously a word and have it not be accepted. Theres a feature where you can add a word, but we’ve been adding words for years now, and none of them have been added to the games lexicon. However, there ARE many words that only a scientist or someone who just finished college level science classes and hasnt yet had time to forget the terminology would ever guess except by trying letters together in logical but random orders. This is a game that Word people will want to play, not that Science people will want to play. Know your audience.

This is a great game. However, the word pool they draw from is completely random. Many real words are missing and many random, inconsistent forms of words are included/missing. Totally strange they dont just use a real, modern dictionary. That is so annoying Im looking for an alternative game.

Good game but you should allow the use of the word alb. It is a long white robe worn by a Catholic priest or minister during services. Need to be able to change timer in classic mode. 3 mins isnt long enough for most games.

This game is fun. However, some common words aren’t allowed. In some cases proper nouns are used, but not in all. They use old words sometimes, but not all the time. If there is a word that has two spellings, a lot of times one isn’t allowed. Many times we checked the dictionary to make sure we were spelling a word correctly, and found there were two spellings of the same word. They use scientific suffixes and prefixes, but again not all of them, especially if they are more common. Just know, it might get irritating when you know you spelled a word correctly, but it’s not there. Otherwise an enjoyable word game.

When we bought the app for no ads started us over at level 1. Been playing for months and now trying to get our $4.99 back. :(

Im enjoying it for years but only 2 stars because it keeps nagging us asking to join the Game Center every single time Im using the App while our Game Center is turned off. Its a real turn off and wanting us to just discard the game. Its a serious issue: when Game Center is turned off, it just means we dont want to use it and the App must leave us alone with that.

We really enjoy this game but more words need to be added. The same words constantly repeat. Please extend the words database!!!!!!

We bought this app to pay without annoying ads. Now suddenly we can’t play because they want us to create a profile and give y personal Information. Zero stars. Thieves. They took our money then took away our access.

A complete waste of money. They use non English words and words for which they have no definition available.

Love the game, but it is impossible to pay to remove ads.

Been awhile since we played. We honestly dont remember having at least 4 ads shoved down your throat before being able to play the next level. Dont start playing, the ads make it very frustrating to want to continue.

Not one we would recommend. Lots of the words used are forms of Great Britain archaic words. Some words you could never guess because they are from another culture. Very frustrating.

Jumbline was good until fake words appeared. Goodbye forever, sorry to see an enjoyable game ruined by entries not in a real dictionary.

This is our new favorite decompression tool! We’ve had for years and never any issues.

Some words are foreign and/or esoteric but we cant argue with the dictionary. We enjoy the brain exercise for our 81 year old brain. Ron.

We have been playing this game for years. Never boring. Never had any negative issues.

There are many words that are rejected. We have submitted all that we have located, but the additions are never made.

Love the game Dislike the music and sound interruptions.

We have suggested words that are definitely in the dictionary and we dont see it reflected. This is a great game and our husband, son and we have played it for many years. Today, gesso is not recognized as a word. It is not obscure. Also some medical terminology is not there. You should make this the best it can be!

This is America not Iran or Syria! The words in this game arent the way we speak and are not appropriate for us. We are talking about the words that are not American. Please do something about this.

Good game, but the banners slide across the words after completion so you cant read them until theyre done.

In most ways this is a great game and a lot of fun. It’s our favorite on the go game, as a word fanatic. However there are several major flaws that mar the overall experience and have needed fixing for years. They keep us from giving 5 stars. First, we HATE that the developers have provided no way to keep track of your own highest scores. Personally, we’re not interested in what someone elses high score is. We compete against myself. Secondly, there are many real words that are not acknowledged as real words (for instance qat, tam, and rape). Conversely, there are numerous non-words that ARE recognized as real words (for example orcs and ism). Thirdly, there is no legitimate way to communicate with the game designers. The only method provided gives zero feedback. Lastly, there is no significant bonus score for getting all words on the list. There should be! A good game could become great if they would change these things…

The jumbles words frequently repeat themselves. We would be nice to turn off the sound and music. We find it very distracting.

This has been our fav game for a long time. But recently there have been too many words that are not English and do not belong in this game. We like to get em all, but with all these red ICU loud non-English words, Im not having as much fun.

We downloaded this upgrade, paying for the privilege, and now the game is frozen. We tried deleting the game from our iPhone 5 and redownloading it, but our game is still frozen. Maybe we need to start over at game one?

Recent Apple updates have resulted in an inability to review the list of accomplishments and other select topics. As an example if we touch the podium to see who has the best score the only thing that happens is the noise it makes and then nothing. This is the same for both links. Hope you can figure out a repair. We do enjoy playing this game; so please do not take the 1 star seriously as we are only trying to catch someones attention. Thanks!

Excellent game, relaxing & easy to play. We spent the $1.99 for the ad free game, totally worth it.

Love this game!!! Very addictive, love this game!!!

With the option to purchase the ad-free version, this is the best word scramble game available (that we have found) for iOS. Gameplay is very smooth. We especially like the underlining feature, much faster than having to tap each letter.

For a few days we were just putting up with some of the missed words. Then, we saw the suggest a word button. Now, we’ve been reporting words (not even the ones scrabble and WWF take (like ell). We have spent as much time playing as we have verifying our knowledge and reporting as we have playing. Some of the suggested words are not in a lot of conversations (oyes, mons, zeals), but some were just alternative spellings (I have always spelled it ochre, we consider ocher the alternative!!). We hope the developers can integrate a more comprehensive dictionary.

We enjoy the game as a way to pass the time and keep our brain active. We’ve also learned a few new words along the way. Our main complaint is the selection of words. While roc, orc (mythical creatures) and lofter are recognized as actual words, other actual words are not, like ems, ens (typesetting measurements) and floret. There are other not included words that are found in the dictionary that might be offensive to some (not profanity. R*pe is one example), but we dont know if including those would change the rating of the app or if Apple would not allow it in the store. The game does allow one to suggest words, but we dont believe the app is updated that often, at least in regards to its vocabulary.

We love the timed version where you have to find the (or ONE of the) longest words. Though its a major bummer to lose on a word that is so obscure that maybe one out of 1,000 non-scholars would know. For instance, we’ve lost on words like Nutria, Fecund, Abseil. Who knows those words? We would be less frustrated if there was some sort of feedback system. But there isnt.

We’ve played this game for years and the most recent update ruined it. Half the new words are either slang or not real words. If you click for a definition it says in the wictionary, which, by the way, is not a real source, that the word does not have a definition. Like Grumphly, which was the big word in the last round we played. Updated to add: ok, fine, perhaps it was grumphy. We did however, leave another wiki page open on Wednesday, the word hagadic. It has no entry either. Regardless, one was just an example, our point stands that at least half the time now, if we dont know the word, when we click through for a definition, no definition exists. We appreciate the response, but we have not changed anything about the settings.

We are so sorry that we updated this app! Since doing so it uses words that are so obscure it is impossible to get them all. We are all for broadening our vocabulary, but this includes words we will never use! I.e. HAEMAL (British Form of HEMAL?!)
