Available exclusively for Netflix members.

Unpayable debts. Abandoned futures. Mysterious travelers. Journey down a secret underground highway to find community in this mystical adventure game.

At twilight in Kentucky, as bird songs give way to the choir of frogs and insects, familiar roads become strange. It's easy to get lost. Those who are already lost may find their way to a secret highway winding through underground caves. The people who live and work along this highway seem a little strange at first but soon become familiar: the aging driver making the last delivery for a doomed antique shop; the young woman who fixes obsolete TVs surrounded by ghosts; the child and his giant eagle companion; the robot musicians; and the invisible power company lurking everywhere and the threadbare communities that struggle against its grip.

Community Insight:

We will single handedly advertise for this game please dont take it off the marketplace we love it.

As a fan of David lynch style storytelling and heavier dialogue games like disco Elysium this absolotely blew us away. Storyline is original and well executed. You have no idea where its going next. The visuals are so aesthetically pleasing in a dark way and theres plenty of both sad and funny moments in this. Over half thru thu the game and cant wait to see how it resolves.

We thought this was going to be a fun, enjoyable video game. It is not. A lot what they talk about, like XANADU, is real. This is real stuff that happened in computer science history, like browsing the internet a single line of text at a time. If you are one of the few looking for an opportunity to learn about the history of computers in the most off-handed, yet user-friendly way possible, then this is for you. It is a story about how the extremely hard-to-navigate information superhighway of the 60s, 70s, and 80s became the internet. If youre looking for more, look into how Marc Andreessen developed Mosaic.

This game is an emotional exploration into capitalism and loss, with a touch of authentic Americana. Its really more of an art piece, like a play, than it is a typical video game. Definitely not for everyone, but if youre into obscure games that tell a bigger story, this is for you. Its been months since we finished the final chapter and we still find ourselves thinking back to this story and its characters often. Its a low poly masterpiece that makes you sympathize with faceless protagonists, and the music is phenomenally dreamy yet sad.

Could you please make an update where you hide the homebar on iPhone? Almost all game devs do this and its a real eyesore in an otherwise beautiful game.

Wouldve loved to try this majestic looking game on mobile, but Netflix refuses to recognize our login. Error 7006 for ever and ever. Oh well.

Youll have a terrible time playing this on your phone. Good luck.

This is not a game its a very, very, slow choose your own adventure book. If youre on an airplane, in jail or stuck on a 16hr bus, MAYBE youll find this amusing. Its basically like ready a book, one line and a time and clicking to get to the next line. God bless those who have the patience or lack of energy to try and follow this mess.

Ive never really had a piece of interactive media that felt so right to us. We play a bit, pause, but we always come back to it, wondering whats happening next. We see ourselves in Ezra, Conway, Shannon, Junebug, etc. We can just sit for minutes sinking into the ambience. There are scenes when Im supposed to be clicking on something to advance but we dont realize it because Im content just sitting there and looking and being present. For someone with ADHD who usually plays hyper stimulating games like Valorant or League, thats saying something.

Five Stars for this favorite game. Amazing how such a deceptively simple game can fire curiosity and wonder in a Twilight Zone-like atmosphere. Replays are rewarded with dialog choices that may or may not affect the story, but also lend a wonderful sense of life. Unfortunately, Ill likely never play the mobile version since Im not about to purchase a Netflix subscriptions just to play KRZ away from home. Zero stars for that feature and we so wanted to see how the text dialog boxes were handled on mobile.

This game stated good, was very different but entertaining then we got stuck in some boring conversations in a bar & even though you can kind of fast forward what they say, by holding down, it kept going on for more than a half hour! We couldn't take it anymore so we ended the game, and later when we re-opened it again, we had to start right from the beginning! So not worth it to us.

If you like reading your games instead of playing, this ones for you! While the animation and art direction here is excellent, it is no game in our humble opinion. Its something akin to an interactive book and should be marketed as such so people arent duped into investing their precious life minutes on something they thought might be fun. Sorry but, unless you have nothing else to do Id avoid this game.

You have to figure out every single mechanic from scratch and when most of them are wildly different from standard, having no guidance is a mistake. We made it to the weird bird thing?? And flew around the entire map for a looong time and made no progress because nothing was explained and there are no hints.

Just a scum y cash grab from an already scummy company. Cant even play the game without a Netflix subscription. PASS.

Top rated indie game on iOS. Its not spoon feed three star levels and in app purchases so likely wont do well on this platform. But for anyone that can take a little mystery and good writing its bound to please.

This is our favorite game of all time, and we think its a great fit for mobile. Adding a zoom feature and altering the text box UX makes this game very playable on a smaller device, but we think it really shines on an iPad. Play through a few acts a night before bed and Im positive by the end of it you will be glad you did.

Its haunting, magical, beautiful, and amazing. There is now a little piece of our heart in Kentucky Route Zero. We love it so much. Thank you for making this game.

This is our favorite game of all time. We played the Acts as they released on PC and eagerly awaited for them to release. We are so happy we can have it on our phone. Patience is rewarded as you explore the world and experience the wonderful moments that Carboard Computer has created. This game is our #1 and we hope more people can experience it now that it is on mobile.

The entire storyline and game is so fun! We really like this.

It got really boring at the museum of dwellings so we stopped playing and deleted.

Why am we constantly being given dialogue options for characters we know nothing about? And why is the story lacking in any information or context? Am we supposed to just wait until the game gives us a reason to care about anything thats happening.

Could not get into the ours, no matter what we tried. Frustrating. So we dumped it.

We dont know if its the whole Netflix ownership thing or what but this game got unplayable by act 3. Started great but The Xanadu part became so boring it violated the Geneva convention. We had no clue what to do and it took half an hour of bumbling only to leave the game and when we signed back in was forced to start that painful process over again. Maybe there needs to be a better save function to avoid hours of lost playtime but this snoozefest became as entertaining as a vasectomy. Very disappointed.

Wanted to love this game, too many glitches making it unplayable.

For some reason Im supposed to turn on the breaker box for an incompetent gas station attendant. Oh no D&D playing ghosts are in our way, if only we could find their 20 sided dice? Not intrigued enough to continue. Yawning now.
