Still have the knife levels in game so not worth a purchase. Knife doesnt work at all. Therefore game is useless as you cant fight bosses without finishing knife levels. Which means the game cant be completed. Awesomeness. Not.
This gem was finally updated. Its Smash TV meets Contra with some 80s action heroes homages tossed in. Very addicting. Very visceral. Lots of blood and carnage. Pick your hero. Level him up. Blast some baddies. Buy this game now!!
Very hard to control not worth 3 dollars maybe 2 dollars.

Fix the poor game control in the knife levels.
Like others have said, it is a pretty good game. Lots of fun. Until the knife level. Knife combat is very poor. Frustrating. Even outside of combat, stabbing environmental objects doesnt work much of the time. In combat, you are dead. Bad enough for us to quit playing on the second mission after Basic Training. Maybe Ill pick it up another time. For now, it is not worth the aggravation. Its too bad. We were kind of excited about this game.
Knife level are broken half the time the knife dont even work.
This is tons of fun… There are some levels that are frankly so difficult Im just not sure we can finish them. Oh well. Fun stuff!
One of our personal favorite games that we’ve found on the App Storeits funny, gory, hard (the knife levels are especially difficult because the knife seems to work inconsistently, but that became its own pleasurable challenge, in our case). The music is awesome too. Please make a sequel!
Classic 80s gameplay merged with modern execution. Great controls and a layer of strategy (you cant just run and gun) will have you coming back for more. The music, ridiculously named characters and the over the top gore are just added bonuses.
The game is awesome but it has a little problem when we rank up our character stays the same and it is very very annoying fix this and Ill give you a five star rating ok.
We admit Im having a fantastic time playing this game & leveling up the zany soldiers. Please ADD iCloud Support in a subsequent update so that we can transfer progress between iPhone & iPad. Thanks!!
Instead of wasting time updating the icon for an app, how about it get optimized for the iPhone X already. Great game but it looks like trash with black borders around the screen.
Excellent game. We don’t mind that it’s difficult, but the knife levels are REALLY hard. Sometimes when we stab an alligator or bad guy, it works fine. Sometimes we just keep poking and nothing happens until we die. Even after leveling up, we may kill 3 or 4 alligators without losing any health at all, and then our knife seems to turn into rubber or something. As we look over steam version play through online, this seems to only be a problem on the iOS version. All other gameplay is super fun, but knife levels are extremely frustrating… Please check to see if this is a bug. Edit – we figured it out. Knives ARE broken half the time, but there is a workaround. At the beginning of a level, try to stab a tree. If it breaks, you have a good knife and it will work fine if you do not release the trigger. If the knife stops working, run away and find another tree or box to stab.
This totally flew under our radar This game should be featured by apple Oldschool dual stick shooter Blood gore explosion and mustache Will buy again on steam.
The best game we have ever played on our iPad we love this game and it has been great fun to play with our friend.
This is a nearly perfect twin stick shooter with a lot of character and fun to be had, but the knife levels are so difficult that they take the fun out of the game. We’ve tried every strategy to make the knifes actually work and still don’t know how we’re supposed to best use them to attack. Half the time they work great when going straight on and pushing forward with them, but other times they won’t work at all like that. It seems like they work better when we’re in water, but who knows why.
This is a pretty fun game. All it really needs is mfi controller support.
Definitely kickass. Easy to learn and way fun to play. Missions are different and challenging. Graphics are great. Can see this one staying on our phone for a long time.
The game is awesome. The touch controls are spot on and the one more time addictive gameplay makes it a must buy. If you like old school with a modern twist you cant go wrong.
We have been playing this game for a few weeks on the phone and steam and it is amazing. We give this game a 10/10 and it is just amazing.

This reminds us of Commando and Ikari warriors, and that’s a very good thing! Excellent game….a bit tough even on easy but that’s the name of the game.
Its like the old school games Commando and Ikari Warriors combined with the new game Broforce. Great music and fantastic pixel art make it a treat for the eyes and ears. The explosions and meat chunks are awesome. Everybody loves meat chunks dont they? Its a twin stick shooter with all of the above and is really really fun. Im done with this review because we want to go back to playing it. Stop reading and go buy it!
