The accessibility is great. However, a cool feature would be to go back and check on your colony. Currently after a planet is colonized you cant go back to it.

We love this game, but the biggest issue we have is understanding how the colony map layout works because its very confusing and unclear to us. We have next to no eye sight and have to use VoiceOver no matter what. We know from reading the How To Play manual in the settings menu says in each colony you build the colonys base will always be in the center of the colony, but we dont know if the colony map is supposed to be a sort of grid view or if its all linear and you just swipe left and right to get to each region. We dont mind that but only being able to navigate the colony map by swiping left, and right alone isnt enough or makes much sense because without some type of system, that tells you what the coordinates are of each region on the map and theres no way to know, keep track and understand how the voiceover cursor is actually moving around on the colony map or if its moving adjacently with each swipe or not which is very annoying to us. If the colony map is suppose to be a grid like structure, but if so then, you should be able to swipe left, right, up and down with one finger to navigate to every adjacent region, not just left and right or horizontally, but vertically too and we wish that the developers could program the game in a way that when you swipe to a adjacent region, it announces what column and row the VoiceOver cursor is in on the colony map, followed by if its an empty region, unexplored empty region, unexplored empty region with ore, crystal and or gas deposit or any other kind of deposit region for mining or if that region is an unexplored lake, ocean, mountain or any other kind of geographical feature. Single tapping with two fingers can tell you how much cash and energy cells you currently have and what boosters are active (if any are active) triple tapping with two fingers can tell you how many colonist you have + how many are unemployed and the rate of income, swiping up with three fingers will return you to the space map, swiping down with three fingers, can open the mission status menu, swiping left with three fingers can open your inventory and swiping right with three fingers can open the Settings menu. We think if more voiceover gestures can be utilized like this and if each region in the colony map can be labeled with some type of coordinates system then, this game would be amazing despite the video booster and reward bug.

We loved the game but it crashed for some reason. A green square popped up on the screen and we could no longer click on the tabs to double or even proceed into the game. We tried leaving and coming back. To no avail. We just had to delete it all together and see if rebooting helps. Great format overall, although we would prefer more abilities to upgrade buildings with cash versus needing a specific box to do so.

This is a good game, but we are encountering a bug where the factory is saying not connected to other valid buildings please fix asap.

This game is great, but the only thing that is wrong is that when you open an xp boost, it takes you back to the main colony menu, and then you have to hit inventory to open the next one. It would be great if when you used a thing that you have in your inventory, it kept you in your inventory page until you hit close. If you could look in to what we said, that would be great!

Voiceover cannot tell players about adjacent buildings and on second mission an error is forced on voiceover users with industrial building being next to living quarters. No warnings are given so a player can cancel a building either. Im done with this game for that reason until this problem really gets fixed and will read the blind gaming lists to learn of the fix if it ever happens.

If you are aware, the TestFlight app is for developers and users, testing beta software like this. If this were posted on TestFlight, you would have your reviews as people are finding bugs, not showing up the App Store here. Also, if they were to turn on dev, Contant, they would get it released as it comes out with new things. Please post to death flight as soon as you can for these betas. TestFlight is a really good app, and it is free. This game is good, but the Accessibility still needs work. As we said before, the music is excellent. It could be in stereo though, but for those who are deaf or hard of hearing, they can always change it back to mono audio like it is now. More gestures could be able to do, ones simulating things on the iPhone for users on VoiceOver. This game could also be used for the field, known as orientation and mobility, and a very strange way. You explore the planet on your first injury, and whenever youre reenter and are moved around, the owner instructor instruct you to figure out where you are based on your last visit only. We also wish. That you could revisit planets, just to see how everything is going and add more or reconstruct the booths and things if needed. You dont wanna have any regrets in life, right? Is it gonna is a planet, but didnt do as well as you thought you should, thats too bad that you cant revisit. You just have to take it, and go on. One less thing is for maybe suspension chambers to be used just in case the planet blows up, need to move on them selves. They need to have their own spaceship, somehow, and use suspension chambers Like those found in the children of time. By the way, that is a book.

So game is ok. However the last 2 days every time we watch an add to recieve the free 5 energy cells it glitchs and freezes up the game and wont give us our cells. We have the latest update. So we figure it only lets us have 100 energy cells for free. If that is the case then why not say that. If that is not the case then something is wrong with the game and needs fixed.

We love this game, but we’ve uninstalled it and reinstalled it a bunch of times. Closed out of it and come back but we cant seem to get past level three. The mission we get does not lineup with the resources that are only available in that planet. For example: if we need computer parts, and they need crystals, crystals are not available in the planet. Therefore, we cannot addVance. Please fix this but overall we love the game. Id love to continue to play this.

After spending $15, the game still requires you to watch ads, no way to play an ad-less game.

Self-explanatory title, app crashes on startup since most reset update.

Space exploration and colony building at its finest. We really love the art style too. Special shoutout for free 2 play fairness and super low prices across the board for those who spend. Devs are super approachable if you want your favorite bug fixed.

Thank you for consistently updating accessibility issues. An issue we have had all throughout but which we wasn’t sure was an issue or just part of the game is with connectivity. If we are well into establishing a colony on a planet, we could lay down a living quarters and a farm in one place in the world, and sometimes we can’t connect the farm to a warehouse we built right next to it, but we can connect the farm to a warehouse in some random location on the other side of the world. This is similar for any production buildings, again well into the colonization process. We’ll build a factory or a robotics center, and sometimes we’ll be able to connect the factory or robotics center to an appropriate building in some random place in Timbuktu but not to the building we established right next to, or almost right next to, the factory or robotics center. Additionally, could use more extensive help for how to create products such as fusion engines: we connected the robotics center that produces fusion engines to every combination of warehouses we could, and we still get an error.

We love the game, and we love the gameplay. We love the sounds and we love the experience however we do not appreciate that we have watched over 20 videos to gain energy cells and have not been able to gain one through the videos. We are also having trouble with the boosts. Sometimes it does not activate after watching the video, and no matter what you were watching a video for, you lose the sound effects of the game once youre done watching the video and there is no way to turn them on except for restarting the app and sometimes that does not even work. The video rewards are also hard, because sometimes there is no back button or way out of them, and without the ability to have voice on the screen tell us what button youre pushing you do not know where the back button is and they are not always in the same spot for the video awards. We know that the video rewards are developed by other people, however Im hoping that you can develop a format with them to where they can start putting the back button or an exit button somewhere on the top of the screen for those of us who are blind. We do love this game however, and we enjoy playing it but we wish we didnt have to fight to get our energy cells. We should have at least 100 but have not been able to find any through the videos.

We adore this game. It is so much fun. Im having an issue though, if somebody might be able to help us where we are on a region that says what resource Id like to exploit, but when we try and build the resource extractor, we have an issue. Its happening with Crystal extractors right now. We are only on the third planet.

Sometimes we play this game for days straight without sleep LOL.

Love this game! We have playing for a while and we are still enjoying.

We are blind, and love this game! We are glad this is another game that we can play with one hand! Too many developers change their games to where we cannot play, and others that have similar conditions to cerebral palsy cannot enjoy them. So we are very glad that this iPhone game exists. Especially for those who cannot really enjoy other games Like computer games as much. Thank you developers! Excellent job so far on accessibility.

We’ve really enjoyed this game so far, and accessibility is surprisingly good! It’s a little confusing to navigate regions just with VoiceOver, to be honest, because there’s no real sense of which regions are adjacent to one another unless you drag your finger slowly around the screen. We use our limited sight for this. Also, we’ve noticed that this and the dev’s Crafting Kingdom have no notifications, so it’s impossible to know when research is done, when storage is full, when automation or boosts have run out, etc without checking manually which is a bit of a pain. We typically forget to check, setting us back. If the devs could look into implementing a notification system that’d be amazing and I’d bump our review up a star!

We think it’s safe to say, we’re addicted to this game! We love how it is accessible to blind users. We myself am blind and am aloways on the look out for accessible games to play. We have a few recommendations though. The video rewards are not accessible. We can never close out of them. This goes for crafting kingdom as well. Sometimes the swiping isn’t on point either. It jumps around if you are swiping like you usualy would. Also, we like doing the research projects. They are very useful since we’re in a higher level of the game. We have multiple research boosters in our invintory but when we go to click on one because we have a 12 hour project, it won’t let us. It just continues to say disabled. Hopefully these issues can be fixed soon because we really love this game. Keep up the great work!

This is a good game but there are some accessibility issues with the boosts. There are some videos for you have to turn voiceover off in order to get out of them. Theres one video in particular that even turn voiceover off does not work do you have to restart the whole app. If the video is for energy cells you dont get them. If you restart the app you have to wait for the next video. Other than that we think this is a wonderful game.

Fun, but have a little bit of confusion after the first sector is completed Accessibility could be improved for voice over.

This game is a lot of fun. Very addicting. But recently we’ve been having some issues with power cells. We accidentally bought an absurd amount a few weeks ago and now Im extremely limited in how we can use them. We cant boost buildings or buy booster packs. And we know we have enough cells. We also cant ours astroid fields anymore.

The crystal extractors dont work, which left us stuck on level 3, so we stoped playing this game, and started playing our other games…

We started playin this game and was enjoying it actually. Then randomly one day we noticed that whenever we opened the app we got a notification that it was reading from our iPhone clipboard. Why does this game need to read our clipboard when Im not doing a paste function? This is really shady and this kind of stuff needs to get banned. We dont know why Apple would even allow an app to read from the clipboard without us explicitly pasting something. Great game, really shady developers.

We use voiceover and this game is absolutely amazing. We love it! And we cant say that about too many games we play. We think the endless hours of fun is absolutely correct. We can see they still have to work out some accessibility things. But we are willing to put up with said issues till they are fixed. IE. The game seems a bit slow to navigate and respond sometimes. But we are sure these will be fixed in time. We sure hope this game never goes away. And constantly gets better.

Trying to constantly expand while balancing workforce and food is really fun. It would be really nice if you could relocate a building.

Like the title says this game is very fun. We really enjoy this game, however, for some reason we cannot activate any of the boosts. And thats not fun at all. Especially when there is a mission goal for one of the planets that requires you to have a cash flow of $1500 per minute. But we dont know, could just be an accessibility issue. One thing we will say is Im glad the Game is self voicing like crafting kingdom is. Hopefully the issue with the boost will get fixed soon, keep up the good work guys.

This is a very cool game, and you guys are awesome for making it accessible for voiceover users. Considering how extensive the game is, we understand making it fully accessible will require quite a bit of work. We are running into one major bug however. We cannot seem to activate a boost, and we just purchased the permanent increase. We can scroll through the various boosters, but when we tap on the button, they do nothing. We also noticed that if you watch an ad in the boost screen, the clothes add button is dimmed. We realize the accessibility mode is still in beta, and we hope you guys get these minor bugs fixed soon. Keep up the great work guys, and thank you once again for making the extra effort.

Theres so much to do in this game , tons of upgrades available and ways to improve your gameplay. Hours and hours of gameplay without being monotonous or requiring your constant attention.

Hi. We hope you’re well. Thank you for working on the accessibility for this cool game. Your efforts do pay off. The only issues we’ve experienced so far is the fact that when you’re trying to focus on something, the cursor will move somewhere else and that sometimes, it won’t read you everything. For instance, when you’re trying to see how long a boost will be active, it’ll say something like, five, but it’ll cut off. This particular thing also happens in Crafting Kingdom. When visiting the Princess, it’ll say, "Next gift disabled button." It won’t always tell you how long you have to wait. If these things were fixed, we believe this game would be perfect.

We really like the game. However, when we got to level 3 (the desert level), the game wouldn’t let us create the crystal extractor. We were in the right region. We tried restarting the game and level but nothing worked. We really would like this issue fixed, as tthis game is very addictive and seeing that it’s not working properly makes it… You know, not so enjoyable. We really like the game.

We’ve heard that accessibility features for Galactic colonies are comeing for us so that we can play this game alongside our sighted counterparts. So heres a 5 star rating from a very pleased and happy totally blind gamer. Thank you so much for thinking of us while working on this game. Please dont be discouraged by those who would knock you down just because accessibility isnt immediately available for a game. Accessibility is a privilege not a right.

Great game. Now that we’ve done all research, that item is useless. Advance skills stops food consumption at 56.5% (dont know about taxes and resources cap yet). We didnt get 4* ship but save energy for 5*. Maybe add more system maps, or ones that need 9+ planets colonized once hit level 200.

Extremely easy objectives. Good concept but no challenge at all.

It’s been a long time since the game was released and it is still not accessible.

We loved your previous Crafting Kingdom game… But why have you stopped making your games accessible with Voiceover? There is absolutely no accessibility in this game, and we’re very disappointed because of how great the last game was!!! Please, please make this accessible, then we might increase our rating, but for now we’re very very disappointed in this game. Update: It has been months since we left this review. Came back and downloaded the game again and still, no accessibility. We’re very disappointed. The developers promised months ago that blind people would be able to play this game. Why can’t we even though it’s January and that promise was made in July?

Una pena que este juego no sea accesible para usuarios de voiceover. Us haba entusiasmado con la temtica y los sonidos pero el soporte para la accesibilidad es nulo. Espero esto pueda cambiar con el tiempo.

There is a great deal of untapped potential with this game. The basic gameplay is engaging, however, after the first sector, it becomes very redundant and each planet follows the exact same formula. Rinse and repeat. The tech tree is lacking variety as much as the missions. We like the concept, but this is just not a well rounded game for a genre that was nearly perfected over 20 years ago.

We hope this one will be as good as the last one.

The idea of this game sounds awesome! We can’t wait for accessibility mode to be released. We really appreciate all the effort you’re putting in to making the game accessible to blind players. Please take your time and do it right.

Landscape mode setting appears locked to only one orientation, upside down.

So we haven’t played the game yet, but we are looking for to it. It’s developed by a company with a proven track record for accessibility for blind and visually impaired players, so jump on it blindies, and rate this thing 5 stars.

Thanks for an amazing and fun game. Keep it up.

We have no doubt that this game will be absolutely amazing once accessibility features are available. For anyone who uses voiceover, know that the accessibility features are coming! This is going to be an absolutely amazing and fun game, and we personally look forward to being able to play fully with the accessibility features once they are ready! Keep up the great work.

We love that the devs care about accessibility!

Thank you so much for the time and effort you have put in to make this game accessible. We know you still have a little ways to go, but Im so excited that you have decided to be a development company that keeps accessibility in mind!! We are very passionate about inclusive gaming and to see a company creating a game that doesnt need people begging for a way to play. Thank you. Thank You. THANK You. THANK YOU! We cant wait to share this with our gaming consumers with disabilities!!!!

Really liked the concept and we are awaiting the accessibility mode.

We loved bit life, we were very grateful that it was made to be accessible for visually impaired players. We are sure that galactic colonies will be just as great a game! Keep up the hard work. Most of us in the blind community greatly appreciate your efforts! Dont be disheartened by the jerks that give you a one rating because your game is not yet accessible.
