Community Insight:
We really love this app! Its so sweet and wholesome. We know it sounds silly, but we have one suggestion-, we love the music in the background so we like to keep the sound on, but the noise that comes from tapping things is very non relaxing in a way. Just our opinion though.
We have never felt compelled enough to write a review about any app but this one won us over today. In the midst of a panic attack worrying about a stressful home situation, the pause and breathe feature that was recently added spared us hours of agony. This game truly helped us during this period of stress, anxiety, depression, and even inspired us during the good moments as we help our plants grow. From the bottom of our heart thank you for this much needed game. Truly worth it.
Ive tried several relaxation apps to help with our mental health and stress load. None of them have held a candle to this app though! It truly is a break from the real world where we can be honest about our emotions in a simple word, without feeling pressured to go into detail about why (which makes us feel worse). Im motivated daily to log in cause we love seeing our plants grow, and the slow progression overall makes it feel comforting, like Ill be enjoying the benefits in a reasonable time without blazing through it all and being left wondering whats next. There is zero need for in app purchases (though decoration purchases are optional and we may have to get a few just to supply the creators) which just adds to how great this app is. Most others Ive tried require subscriptions or purchases, or they play several ads which takes away from that relaxing feeling. This app has helped us allow ourselves five minutes a day, twice a day, to step away for a moment and appreciate the little things. Something we noticed another review say that we agree would be a really nice addition is a way to be able to review things weve written for daily gratitude. Ive also wanted to see past jars before as well, and we think having access to some of that would be helpful in viewing progress we make through the app. We absolutely love it, dont pass this one up.
How do we get a plant other than monstera.
We really love this app we just feel so calm while playing and we have started to enjoy waking up early. Though we wish we could allow our friends to see our sand jar as well as to choose to turn said function on and off whether the function is for all friends or specific friends, but even without it we enjoy sending stickers. We really have to say we are so glad that we found an app that doesnt make us feel like we have to pay up just to feel better. Thank you developers.
Id like to suggest letting duplicate name titles fit in different categories of emotion lists, it may not be exactly the same emotion but describing it can feel the same, like some one can feel hurt and it can be an angry hurt, or a sad hurt depending on the situation and how the feeling fits. But having hurt be in anger and not being able to have it in sadness is not properly describing the feelings in the right categories. Hopefully you get what Im saying.
We never write reviews for anything but we feel this app deserves it. We have used Kinder World every day for about a half a year now and its become part of our daily routine. Something about just a simple check in each day helps so much with mental health. All the small features and cozy animation style make the game a really comforting place, which you can spend as little or as much time in each day as youd like. We love this app and would recommend it to anybody. <3.
Let us just start by saying that we love this game. Its the best relaxation game Ive ever played, however, we do have one single issue with it: we wish there was more greenhouse space! We havent started a new plant for a couple weeks because we dont want to get rid of any of the plants Ive already grown, nor do we want to send away the newest plant. We really wish there was unlimited greenhouse space to be able to mark your progress, and because we genuinely love all the plants we grow. We hope Im not alone in this, and we totally understand if its a server/data issue- but we definitely wish we could keep more than 9 plants.
Absolutely in love but can you please make it so you can have more shelves and keep your plants :,( we hate sending them away. Thats the only reason we say 4 instead of 5 but its closer to a 5 than a 4.
We loved this app before the latest update. It was so calming and serene. Now the graphics are so cartoony and overstimulating.
Its helped us with emotional identification too. A must for plant lovers. Its still in development, but if we could share two suggestions: Id really really love to be able to keep more plants. Maybe not all of them, but another plant page maybe? Im emotionally attached to some of them lol. And more plant choices would be nice.
Ok this game. This game abt houseplants. Is friggin awesome. We love all the characters too! Fern, Quilliam, and Samy! We also love decorating our rooms! Currently we only have art room and the main room unlocked but thats ok! We just want to submit a review for a possible character. It could be any species of animal at all! Just make it bisexual. Okay thats all! Thank you.
We love this game! Our mornings are significantly better thanks to this game. We love Quilliam and Sammy so much. Definitely a game to never forget.
We CAN NOT recommend this enough, you cant over water or under water your plant. It doesnt die! AHHHH we LOVE THIS GAME. Im on this anytime we need to figure out or express we can and not worry about over watering our plant. The pots are adorable. The first character you meet, adorable. This is perfect for our ADHD friends who can never remember to take care of any other games or check in regularly. We didnt water our monstara for 3 days came back and it was still alive. Our mental health hasnt been this good since we were a little baby child. Get this app, struggling or not get this app. Our gf has learned this app has a breathing thing you can unlock and its brought us out of a couple panic attacks. This app honestly has given us so much independence again since Im not relying on someone else to guide us breathing. TLDR: this app is amazing and you do infact need it.
Love it. But we want to be able to spend all day taking care of them. We downloaded at 5 am and by 13 pm we only had one plant. More plants please.
Such a great game, we really like playing it so far. Our only wish is we could keep the feeling terrariums that we get to fill up. Id like to be able to see them on shelves just like the plants or be able to put them in our rooms. But a 10/10 game, so many fantastic qualities and Ive run into no issues so far.
This app is precious and reminds us to take care of ourselves often with its little check-ins. Samy is our favorite and every visit from them makes us so happy!! Its a very effective way of reminding us to sit down and take a break.
This app is absolutely lovely and so peaceful. The only purchases you can make is to get special pots and decor but the base game stuff is perfect without. This game brings us so much peace. We highly recommend it for everyone! We like growing the different plants and just seeing them slowly grow leaves and see little creatures visit our plant.
We have tried so many apps like these, but none kept our interest for more than a week. Except Kinder World! Im a plant person so the concept was already right up our alley. The slow, steady rate of growth and change really comes through in the gameplay. And our notes! We love seeing our little green heart open up to someone REAL saying something wonderful. And being able to send off a warm thought to a stranger whenever we have one is so incredibly satisfying, it really changes our mood. Im in love with this. We will scream it from the rooftops. And we will support the dev. Thank you so much for taking a chance on something so different.
Im really enjoying this app and we appreciate that it is not an overwhelming task to stay on top of the daily tasks within. We would, however, love to grow more than one plant at a time. It would be nice to have that option.
This app is sweet, useful, beautiful, and gentle. It is a great way to relax, check in with yourself, & unlike most apps, it does not hijack your brain. We particularly love the emotional naming exercises & the slow simplicity of progress in this world. It is a good reminder that small movements of care build on themselves. Dear creators: we cant wait to see where this goes. You are adding a gift to the world.
Ive tried games that claim to help relax and calm. And this game is so much better than those. Its so peaceful and the features of the game. (If the ones that we havent unlocked yet) are so amazing. Thanks for making this game its awesome keep up the good work.
We love this game and we religiously use it as something to brighten our day. We first saw an ad for this game on tiktok and we instantly downloaded it based on the gameplay we saw. It didnt disappoint! The characters (animals) are so adorable and the routine of watering the plant is so helpful. We specifically like to water with emotional naming. Being able to log our emotions daily is something that helps to visual of it feeling. We just wish at the end of a week/jar that they would be stored in a journal so we could look back on the weeks to see how we were feeling. Like oh last week we were overloaded with sad emotions, lets see how this week is different. Overall, this game is super fun and cute and we highly recommend it to those that just need a little support throughout the day as there are a lot of different pick us ups strewn through the gameplay.
Ive tried many many self care apps and they either dont work at all or everything that could help is locked behind an expensive paywall. Ive been using Kinder World for sometime and the progress Ive made to take care of our mental health is astounding. Ive been able to identify more of our emotions (something Ive struggled doing for a very very long time), Im able to be grateful for things in passing, and Im able to ground ourselves better thanks to this app. Not to mention the LGBTQ+ representation throughout the game. If we could give this app more stars we absolutely would.
We love this game so much but so far from what Ive seen is the post office not open at all? Am we missing something? When is the post office open.
So we love the game its great, but theres one thing Im confused about, so we wanted to send a lil thing in the post office since thats an option yknow? But its always closed? Is that just for it still being in the creation process or is it just we should move to a different time zone.
We really really like this app and its super relaxing. You dont need to pay for anything (unless you want to decorate a bit) and its very calming. We think it would be more better if you could have more plants! And maybe keep the plants youve grown in the past somewhere. Some of the icons are easy to miss but overall we love the style and the simplicity. The main complaint we have is that you cant grow more than one type of plant. But other than that its a very good game and we 100% recommend.
We really do enjoy this game love the fact that we get to watch our plant grow. Only things that we dont really like is that we cant change the schedule to something that would work more for us and that there isnt anything in the store that you can purchase with in game currency we feel there should be a section where you could get wallpapers and pots without having to pay actual money, for those who cant afford or would simply not want to pay $4.99 for one pot. Other than that the game is actually really fun and we would 100% recommend.
We love this app, its wonderful and been really helpful when we need regulatory calming activities. We like the design aspect within the house, and the little letters are cute. However, we have been trying to grow a calathea orbfiolia for almost two months and we have only gotten one special leaf. With the monstera it only took a couple of plants, but Im extremely frustrated. We dont know if we are doing something wrong or not. Other than that frustration, we love the game. We just cant seem to progress because the plant is stuck.
We love this game so much, we love how you get to write a letter and say something that cam brighten someones day up. Also love watering our plants everyday and we enjoy collecting pots and plants.
We downloaded this app after seeing a ton of ads for it on tik tok and Im pretty disappointed. The app is not user friendly and very frustrating to try and figure out how to set up your space. There is a quick tutorial at the beginning about how to take care of your plant and that is essentially all the guidance you get. When you first download the app everything is locked and there is no indication on how to unlock them or when they will be unlocked. All customizations are made with real money and even after paying .99 for wallpaper we cannot for the life of us figure out how to put it out. And we are not some old woman who doesnt understand technology we are a 23 year old adult who grew up with phones and computers. Something as simple as changing the wallpaper should be fairly intuitive or you need to add instructions.
You cant buy anything in the game unless its for real money so youre basically just doing the same thing (watering a plant) every day. Cant buy a new pot, cant buy new plants, nothing without real money. Cute concept though.
The most notable part of this game is of, course, the dog (Samy). But Id also like to say that the soundtrack is amazing and feels really calming. Its nice to see the plant grow, little by little. We recommend you try it, even just once or twice. It worked really well in cheering us up, and so we hope it can cheer you up, too.
Very cute game. We just downloaded it & im so excited to see our little babies grow.
We love this game so much we found it on TikTok and so far its been so cute and fun we love this little game so much.
We really love this app so far! Its very cute, very fun, and we really like that u can see messages from other people! The only thing we wish it had was a simple journal section, maybe it could be optional to write in when u water ur plant and name ur emotion. We always find ourselves wishing we could journal abt our feelings in app when we name our emotions :-) such a cute app.
Its like a plant tamagotchi that helps you check on your emotions twice a day. And also stays alive no matter how long youre away from the app. This has helped us manage our stress since our workload recently increased.
First off we absolutely love this game its so cute and simple yet engaging and fun. Our main complaint is that we want to be able To grow multiple plants at one time. It takes forever to grown them 1 at a time. And make a way to get pots.. Like a ad wheel of spending bones and if u get a duplicate then you can chose to send it to another active account.
As the title says, overall we love this game! Its a great mental health break and refresh twice a day and it reminds us to take of our plants and also ourselves. We realize this is a fairly newer game so we just had a few things that we think we would like added! We wish we could keep the emotional naming terrariums we make! (maybe this is possible further in the game and we just havent gotten there?) It would be nice for them to be dated and to reflect on the highs and lows we experienced during that time, it would be nice to list the emotions named for ease of reflection and maybe have the option of writing a quick sentence about why we felt that why (but we do like the ease of just picking an emotion and that being it!) we also wish there were a few more water enriching options, we feel like its getting too repetitive as the gratitude prompts repeat often. It would be nice to interact with the companions a little bit more or maybe being able to write back to them or something. Just a thought! We havent unlocked all the rooms yet and while we do like getting new items to place, we wish we had more places to put them all! We also wish theres was an interactive component to the rooms also related to self care more than just decorating. As a lot of people have said, more plant storage would be great! We think someone else also said this, but being able to buy some of the pots with treats instead of/in addition to real money would also be nice! Again overall we love this game and what it does for us in allowing us to take mental health breaks during the day and would love to see this succeed and grow.
Super relaxing overall and we love it! But one community emotion post was feeling stressed from side effects of the vaccine. Not helpful when trying to relax, and it instantly made us angry. Please monitor the posts more closely or allow us to choose whos we want to see if youre going to allow an open forum.
We love this game its simple and cute. The quotes are uplifting and we enjoy periodically watering and caring for our plants. The only issue we have is that the shop wont load at all and a pop up saying the shop cant connect to the internet. We really want to shop for all the adorable goodies the shop has to offer. :(.
We think this app has so much potential, but we do think there is room to grow. Im still in the first week of this app and Im still confused on a few things that we think could have been better explained. How do you collect different kinds of plants? There should be more kinds of enrichment opportunities for the watering of the plant. For example, one could be naming one of the five senses around you that help ground you and make you more in the moment. We dont like that we have to pay to have more access to pots and other things, seems like its unavoidable to further your progress in the app without paying. We have enjoyed the music and it definitely makes us feel more relaxed.
We found this one TikTok look so fun but when we got it and downloaded it we tried and tried to play it.
This app is awesome its calming to just have open and listen to the music you can easily forget your worry just by watering a lil plant guy<3.
We love this game so much! Its a low key way to check in with yourself without feeling guilty if you cant log in everyday. You get to water your plants and decorate your rooms and interact with cute animal friends. We couldnt ask for anything better.
Ive been having such a hard time and this app is a small piece of mind even for a few minutes a day. The music is so calming and wonderful, we love the plants and animals. Everything about this is perfect. This is our favorite app on the App Store. Thank you developers for creating it.
We really loved the concept and cuteness of this game. But we had to delete it for this reason we want to keep all the plants we raise. We felt that in order for us to raise another we would have to send one away. Which we did not want to do. Is there anyone where we can keep all our plants instead of sending it off that was no fun for us. We wanted to keep this and liked it. But due to that reason about the plants it had to go. Can this be added to the game or does this already exist and we just missed it? We would love to download it back. It was too adorable, we loved the doggie, taking care of the plants everything about it.
First let us say that we love this app. Its so sweet and calming. So the problem is not with the app, per day, but with us. We hate that when the greenhouse is full it says Send away forever. We have difficulty letting go of things so Im stalled in the game. We wish it would allow us to virtually gift itanything but send away forever.
We love this app! The music, self reflection, no stress interactions with other app users, different game modes and general coziness make Kinder world forever our favorite app.
This game is a part of our every day routine. Thank you <3 we have been encountering a bug lately though and didnt see a place where we could report them. Ive been needing to water our plant 2-3 times in a row because it keeps acting as if we havent just watered it, and we havent received any treats for watering it over the past two weeks (when this issue started) Ive been using the game since this spring and have never experienced this bug before.
