Recruit promising young amateurs, established professionals or retired veterans, challenge favourable opponents, and train your fighters for upcoming bouts. Fights are won or lost depending on the strategy and tactics you devise, so it’s crucial to analyse both your combatant and your opponent to create the correct fight plan. Winning bouts will move your boxer up their respective weight division rankings, to eventually challenge for the world championship belt itself.
But the boxing world is a slippery one; losing bouts will delay your ability to challenge others, ruining your momentum and allowing other promising stars to challenge your position. Suffering injuries during bouts will lower your boxer’s subsequent fitness, meaning they will be less effective in the next bout unless given time to rest and recuperate. Boxers you seek revenge upon might shift weight division, foiling your plans for immediate payback.
Different boxers peak at different stages during their careers, and as time passes your boxers will age and their abilities will wane. Young, fresh-faced opponents will rise through the ranks to challenge your dominance, and wily old campaigners will battle on long passed their best, eager to show they’ve still got it.
The path to glory is not always clear, and it is up to you how you form your fighters’ careers. Do you ambitiously rush them up through the rankings – challenging as high as you can each time, or do you favour a steadier approach – building your boxer’s skills over more contests? Do you favour the breathless punch exchanges of the lower weight divisions, or the thudding power of the heavier ones? Will you dominate in one weight division for a decade, or will you shift your fighters from division to division, capturing as many titles as possible before their skills begin to wane? Do you allow your recruits to retire undefeated at the peak of their powers, or do you keep ushering them on for one more tilt at the big time, long after their abilities have deteriorated?
The choice is yours; there’s no end-game in LEATHER®. The only definition of glory is your own.

- Reduced HOF retired years from 5 to 3.

- Boxers who have been asked to retire will stay retired.
- Increased effect of inferior reach at long range.

This is hands down our most played game on our phone right now. It is so fun and there is a lot you can customize throughout the game. We cant wait to see what happens with this game. Also we were wondering if you can or were ever planning on adding a pound for pound ranking that doesnt just involve the point system.
Love the game, wonder what happened to the international titles? Also would like to pitch other regional titles. We know everyone in boxing complains about the amount of titles, but there would be something to say for having a few lower belts so you can have a more realistic progression.
Originally we gave the game a 4 star (we were on Android at the time) for not being able to create custom fighters, but since thats been added for us without a doubt 5 stars now. The current roadmap looks great as well. For people asking about things check the road map and the Reddit its fairly active. Ive purchased this game twice (Android and iOS) and Id be willing to purchase it on PC if it came to PC as well. Its a great game. We do think there should be a way to save all your data through a cloud type feature (an entire career save not just characters) but the text copy and paste feature is great too. Itd be nice to have that added to the career saves as well though. Otherwise 10/10 if we could give it that.
This game goes so in-depth we LOVE it!! We wish there was a MMA counterpart to this so bad, a game just like this but MMA! Please lol. We will still put hours into this until then.

Honestly, we have no complaints about the gameplay itself, its perfect for boxing nerds and anyone who enjoys text management games, but with the relatively common crashes, it can be quite frustrating at times. We had an issue with a corrupted save file that was causing the game to crash every time we tried to resume the game, and the dev(s) responded quickly, putting out a patch/update two days after we reported it. Though we dont think Ill be getting that save back, the experience has bolstered our faith in both the future of this game, and any further projects that Studio Industrial puts out. Ive edited this review to reflect what has changed since we originally wrote it.
This game is good. If youre a fan of sitting back and watching cpu v cpu bouts between your favorite fighters then this is the game for you.
Are you more interested in the managing of a boxing stable than being a boxer? Do you want to discover talent, guide their development, and watch them fight their way to their first belt, and then try to keep them at the top of their games as sheer talent starts to ebb while the knowledge and savvy remain? This game is for that kind of gamer. And its great at it.
5 maybe because of the intercontinental champion but 6 wouldnt make since unless you mane it really realistic but even in reality they dont hold 6 belts the most is 4 , but we do get why they ask for so many belts because in actuality theyre are about 6,000 belts across different organizations. But thats a lot and really we dont expect for this game to be that . Now if you make a Mma game.
Easily the best boxing management game Ive ever played. Our only request would be to push further with the sandbox style elements. Ill also add that we would love to see a game like this on a PC platform.
First of all we love what your doing with the game and Im about 400 bouts into a career. Unfortunately the game has started crashing when we try to play that career now. Not sure if it is the update or just a bug that happens after 10 plus year careers. Also, Im curious if it will be possible for a pc version to have more like 100 boxers per class, and maybe some international titles. Finally, for the mobile version Im wondering if it could be made so that weight divisions that go ununified for long amount of time could maybe have unification tournaments. To crown undisputed champions like we have seen a few times in real life. We feel like if u were down for it and other people wanted it, this wouldnt be hard to do given that tournaments are already part of the game. Update. We appreciate your response and it seems like you are taking things Into consideration. So Ill change our score to a 5, but now our game crashes by default and it looks like we will have to uninstall and redownload.
The game keeps crashing in sept 2041, why is that? Ive played 2 separate games and both times had to end them because at this date, the game just collapses.
Im really addicted to this game maybe add a Auto play where it lets you play everything for example it automatically does the training for you.
Very good game we bought the premium and its worth it. Our suggestion is please can we have it so that we can view boxers past matches? Nothing like looking at boxing sequels and rematches! We go back and fight boxers that have beaten us! Thank you!! What we mean like the past matches a fighter has had somewhere in their profile…so if we click our boxer we should see all the fights in our career so we can see our past title defenses and all boxers past matches somewhere to look at in their profiles just the result and maybe a link to the transcript of the fight.
First of all we want to say that, this game is amazing and has some great features, and is the best fighting simulator on IOS hands down, but there of course can be improvements, but adding rivalries, and storylines In the games, but we think there could be more with this update, such as, boxers having different personalities, and this could feed into a PPV but system, which could add more flavor. For us this game could, benefit with one more huge update before it has a pc launch, because, we think for a simulator, for PC needs a lot of content, so we whose one day you could have a promoter mode, because the pieces,Are there especially, with that next update on the road map, because there could recruiting for fighters,which can lead a way for recruiting, more than one boxer at a time. And there is more there like rival promotions, like big companies or regional feeder promotions, and think there is potential, to changing our gym to promotional ,where you, can book events, secure tv deals, and is this sounds like a lot but most of this already there, and this would be amazing, and we think this would really help to get this game more, buys and you more money, would add diversity, and something to iOS that is not on it, and if this does become a thing or not this game is amazing, and it has a tone of potential.
Let us start out by saying this game is a lot of fun! Im giving the app 4 stars because it could use some improvements to make the gameplay experience more enjoyable. Could there a settings tab to adjust the sound? It would be nice to play your own music and turn off the game sounds. Ill update to 5 if it happens.
This is a great game bought it after a few days playing on the lite version great concept has great potential amazing work for a one man team. We do have a few suggestions for the game 1. We would like to be able to see how much the fighters make each fight. 2. We would like be be able to see there a for all the stats. 3. We would like to be able to make more money for the lower ranked matches. 4 this isnt much of a big deal but we would like to see that when a boxers fitness is below a certain point they cant be challenged.

The game was a 5 star game until the new update. The game is still good but our fighters only going up by 1 is bad. We understand why yall did it but it should at least be 2 not 1 cause now its hard to get better.
You guys should try to make a game in which we are the boxer trying to be signed but using the same tactical layout as leather ,we would definitely pay for that,.
Our friend recommended this game to us and its great! We used to play World Title Boxing Manager because it was the only iOS boxing manager. However, we switched to Leather and we couldnt be happier.
Theres enough detail in the game for any boxing fan to love, or if youre like us, its the perfect game to play AFK. Can play the game for hours on end, and never have to dedicate all our attention to it.
Even years after buying this game, we still come back to it. It is an incredibly deep and realistic boxing management simulation.
We have played that game for a while and have always loved it. Recently we created a new gym and started all over. All of a sudden the game freezes everywhere all the time. We have to close the app and restart it. Luckily it remembers everything but this happens at least once a minute and has been frustrating. However iv probably had the game a year and havent had any issues and like it a lot.
We absolutely love this game but the tips in between weeks you dont have enough time to read give us all those rid bits in the help menu please.

Great game but Im stuck in the loading screen.
One of the best management games on the AppStore just have 1 issue and 1 Request the issue is for some reason at some point in the game after playing a while when you press on your gym to view your fighters it says loading then freezes and your stuck on that screen the only way to bypass is to close the game and continue and hope when you press your gym it doesnt freeze up. The request was an accolade section but we just found it one if our favorite games.
We love this game but the new update doesn't even allow us to play anymore, we never make it pass the loading screen.

Love the game. Our favorite game on IPhone but after the recent update its so glitchy and laggy if Im lucky to even load into the game. We were loading into our save game on 70% for more than 10mins before we gave up. Please switch the game back to the old version.

Love the game and many aspects that it have. You guys are continuing to add updates that we appreciate and not complaining about.However a great add on will be if were able to negotiate fights with other gyms/promoters such as fight locations , how much fighters should get paid for a certain match to take place . Kindve like both gyms/promoters working to make a fight happen. More Behind the scenes stuff.
Leather is a serious boxing manager sim with a ton of of depth but held back by a maddeningly clunky UI and a disregard for more casual fans of the sport. If you love and breathe boxing, love hardcore sims and can deal with a lot of swapping back and forth between screens, youll find a lot to love here. If not, you may find the game completely inaccessible. The devs love for the sport bleeds through in every feature. From recruiting and training amateur boxers to the bouts themselves, youre presented with a ton of choice and given lots of agency to manage your gym exactly the way you want to. The game, however, gives you frustratingly little information on what those choices might mean. For example, before each round in a bout you can customize your boxers game plan – you can tell them to focus on infighting or switch to south-paw or about twenty other different instructions. But the game doesnt tell you the advantages and disadvantages of any given option – if you dont know, for example, that the best strategy against your opponent based on your fighters strength is to close the distance as much as possible, well too bad. It reduces the game from a strategy game to picking random stuff and praying it works. Its not fun. The UI does not make anything better. There are a million screens, most with a ton of information that forces you to scroll vertically a lot. You might have an option at the top of the screen but the information you need to make a decision is at the bottom – now youre scrolling back and forth. Critical buttons are waylaid on the main screen which means if youre 5 screens deep trying to set up a challenger for your fighter and you want to continue to the next week, you have to click all the way back to main. Why not have the continue button fixed to every screen? To the devs: you have a very deep game obviously made with a lot of love and passion but if you want to broaden your audience from hardcore boxing fans with a high tolerance for clunk, you need to rework the UI. Users shouldnt be clicking through 5 screens back and forth, or scrolling vertically for days. And please add some tooltips or a compendium that explains what things are! What are the strengths and weaknesses of a swarming infighter? How can we set a game plan for our boxer if we dont know what things are? And please give an option to disable the haptic feedback on click. Its annoying.
We like the game wish the other gyms competitions progressed to be harder its very easy to make your fighter good even with tweaking difficulty and such. Would be cool if you were able to create our own belts and its own criteria to be won like the ring one. Also need to make the drops in rank better especially if they lose by KO. Because you can defeat a boxer 3 times back to back but theyll still be ranked top 5.

This is a amazing game and we love playing it but can you make it to where we can move our fighter up in weight and he still Keeps his belt so if he loses he can return to his normal weight or if we wins he has the option to keep his belt and move back down or drop his belt and defend the belt he just won.
Our only real suggestion would be adding a ring magazine belt but calling it something else obviously like the other belts. Also allowing us to see the scores of previous fights.
Can you add a promoter mode in the game we think that would be cool.

We absolutely love this game, however we would really like if there where more updates happening more often.
There should be mandatory fights and PPV buys, like it shows how many people bought the fight and how much it made in revenue. They should also title it a PPV fight. And instead of appeal, they should add like a fan base or website for your fighter and see how many fans you have.
First off, this game is absolutely amazing. From the prodigies you can find randomly that take your gym to a whole new level, to the tips and tricks you can do to give yourself an advantage. The game is fun and consistent while also being unpredictable. Though the loading times always pull us away, we would make a gym, play in the gym, and then eventually stop due to how long the loading times take. If these were to be faster we could see ourselves playing endlessly for hours on end just because we enjoy this game so much.

We love this game and love how in depth it is from the record, to the effects it makes on height, reach and age. The records tab is filled with records to be broken and set. Only thing we ask is if you could add on each fighter how much money they have made from fights, also a record in the tab about biggest fight paydays. Also is there anywhere that breaks down the personality traits? Affability, Comeliness, etc.
