This is a classic point-and-click game inspired by the 90s classics that defined the genre for so long. Think of it as my attempt to honor those old games that meant so much to me as I grew up.
In this game, you’ll explore a newly discovered temple that has been forgotten for thousands of years. It contains many rooms packed with puzzles and riddles, waiting for you to uncover its secrets.
Your old friend has been living in the temple for the past few months, investigating and trying to solve its mysteries. Then suddenly, no one hears from him anymore. The only person brave enough to enter the temple and search for him is, of course, you.
Will you find him? The temple is working against you, with each room filled to the brim with puzzles and riddles trying to stop you from uncovering all its secrets.
Some puzzles are like mini-games that you can solve right away; others require you to pause and observe your surroundings for clues. Some are easy, while others are much more difficult. The game features a built-in hint system that will nudge you in the right direction or completely reveal the solution if you choose. There’s no need to get stuck, as the next room awaits with new puzzles to solve and items to discover!
The rooms in Legacy 3 are filled with items and clues that are there to help you on your quest. Interact with amazing touch controls to inspect your newly found keys and tools. If you see something that looks interesting you can use your camera and take a photo – of whatever you like! Trying to remember that instruction you saw ten rooms before? No problem – just use the camera and you don't have to!
This game is in 3D, with smooth controls and a camera that allows you to take photos of anything in the game. No need to memorize difficult hints or notes!

This game has lots of interesting puzzles. Good thing it has hints because we were stuck on some of them. Also, in legacy three, you can move through the rooms easier which is a plus.

David brings back his puzzle/escape game series Legacy, and its as wonderful as the original and sequel. His skills are improving and its clear this series is a labor of love. The design is ambitious, a four-segment series of interrelated parts that come together at the end. The art is simple but clean. Highly recommend.

We played Legacy 1 and 2, years ago, just discovered these sequels. Intricate visuals and puzzles, even some live action cut scenes. We used a lot of hints, appreciate they just offer a clue, but will reveal the solution if needed. The links to YouTube snippets were a nice touch, overall a thorough production. Even with clues we enjoyed nearly 8 hours of play.

Ive been binge-playing these and we love the puzzles- as others have said theyre very challenging but not to the degree you feel like its too much of a stretch, like no one would ever think of the answer. The navigation in this game was much improved over the last one, which got to be torturous at the end (in Legacy 2). Being able to fast travel to every room and segmenting the game this time was a huge help, though in the yellow gem level there are a couple adjoining rooms that share the same room number in the map, which is something we wish would just be eliminated entirely. We are just nitpicking because this game overall is brilliant! We have no idea how there is just one guys name on it. (Liked the credit to Jennifer btw if you return to one of the puzzles in particular!) And makes sense to see Harleys journey after we started with someone searching for Harley whod been searching for William glad to have this prequel. Thank you David, whoever you are! Wish there were more games out there with puzzles on this level.
Its super hard and we feel like an idiot hitting the hint button so much. But its so much fun. We love your games.
Lots of fun and surprises playing this game. We have played all three games and it is a fun game. Avid Myst fan and we look for similar games. This was great.
Multi-step puzzles that wrap back onto each other and tie together neatly, similar to 1 & 2, but more complicated. Like the map, and the portals. It got frustrating in 1 to move back and forth through so many roomsand when life got in the way, without a map, felt like we had to start over to figure out how to continue.
Please make more of these, this is even better than the Room series. And the Room was a great game too, but this is just amazing.
We play a lot of point and click/adventure games. We rate this one up there with the best! Very similar to The Room series. You can tell a lot of time and effort was put into this game. The price is more than reasonable and we appreciate the way the hints are set-up. The hints allow you to choose if you just want a little nudge or need the tutorial. It took us around 9 hours of total playing time to complete the game. We ran into zero issues with glitches/bugs. WELL DONE! Off to purchase The Legacy 4 and look forward to more games from this creator in the future.

Fun puzzles, very good hint system, really enjoyed the variety and creativity.
Great graphics. It makes you think to solve the puzzles, but there are hints. The hints are geared to give you just enough information to figure out the puzzles. It is challenging, but designed to be not too frustrating if you cant figure them out.
Fun game with a Myst like feel. The only issue is moving around the rooms are a little awkward on the touch screens.
We needed a lot of clues but hours of entertainment and we want more.
We were really enjoying this game until we got to the green level. We completed a required puzzle and tried to fit the amulet into the wall socket. Unfortunately, it wasnt accepted. The hint function had no hints for us. We are really disappointed.

Fun game a little frustrating in that some clues like painting the tiles were not intuitive.
We enjoyed playing this a lot. But we found it was only possible to progress by keeping a separate notepad of items found, codes to be broken and unopened locks to return to later. Otherwise we would solve a puzzle, gain a new clue or item, and be lost which of the numerous things we should use it on. We appreciated that sometimes, the clues we would find would only relate to the story and not serve to solve any puzzle. And the teleportation mechanic helps return to previously visited locations. Some of the animation was overly long. We didnt mind when it was interesting, but waiting for a ours cart to slowly roll towards you, or for tiles to slowly move along a conveyor belt isnt fun. Still, a very enjoyable game.
We like the game a lot of the puzzles were really good. Some of the puzzles didnt make sense but overall, we enjoyed the game.
But there were many times we were extremely frustrated. We couldnt always figure out the puzzle with the clues given. We had to cheat more than once. Ill play it again when our brain recovers. We love all your games! But Im stuck with the green goo on the paintbrush. We just cannot for the life of us get the goo onto the tiles. It says hold to paint but when we hold and move the brush over the tile nothing happens. Im at a loss.

There is a lot going on with this game. Ive just finished the second passageway and needed lots of hints. This is not a game that be put down for too many long. Because if you do a pick it back up, youve got so much to remember. We dont think we could do this without hints. We gave only 3 stars because of the difficulty. We will continue and finish the game. Hopefully we will get better at solving the puzzles/problems. At that time we will review again. Thanks for the challenge. Finished game. Way to complicated for us! For several of the answers to the puzzles, we would never have figured out without doing the walkthrough.
As the title says, this chapter was much more challenging than the first two games in the franchise. Some may find that ideal, but when we're having to hint our way through ~75% of the puzzles in the game, and only had to use hints once or twice TOTAL in previous games, something's gone wrong. We truly wanted to like the game, but once we hit the paywall, we decided to delete it. Hopefully, the fourth chapter (which we bought sight unseen) will be better.

BUT, MMMMMMAN!!! This 3rd installment there were times, where we were losing our patience & mind, trying to figure certain puzzles OUT!!! We must be getting OLD we spent so much time in a given puzzle, trying to avoid the walkthroughs. We pretty much got fed up, 3/4 of the way through the BLUE CORRIDOR part, & we just followed the walkthrough. This PANDEMIC time on earth has EFFED ME UP, man! We just got through the game, 15mins ago, & idk WHY we feel such anxiety from figuring out the puzzles Im supposed to drive for LYFT, &, suddenly, Id much rather go outside & drink @ 3:38pm. But On the contrary, Im certain that David worked REALLY, really hard on the design, graphics, story, puzzles, & the entire concept of the game, as a whole (all 3 of them!) So, Id like to let David know that, THANK YOU FOR SPENDING YOUR PERSONAL TIME TO CREATE THESE WELL-THOUGHT OUT GAMES, FOR US HUMANS TO ENJOY! We thoroughly LOVED & ENJOYED Legacy 1 & 2, INDUBITABLY! THIS 1, for us, was just a little too hard & we HAD to look @ the walkthrough, which we HATE DOING! Lol Im just frustrated abt feeling that Im getting old & not as savvy at these, as b4 AGAIN, this has nothing to do w/ DILIGENT, HARD-WORKING DAVE. For every body else, YOURE GONNA LOVE THIS GAME.
We are really loving these games by David Adrian theyre a lot of fun to play theyre challenging and we love that if you do get stuck, they have the video to help you right there. Its really entertaining we love point-and-click games and the graphics are beautiful great job please keep making more. We love them.

This series of games has very challenging puzzles but most are not too difficult to figure out without using the hint system.

Only complaint was the star puzzle control – had to watch hints and let our hand drift off the dial to perform the necessary action. Very Myst like game with creative puzzles and solutions. Well done.
Challenging puzzles and great graphics. When we cant figure out what to do next the hints help jump start us without giving too much away which we love. Well worth every penny.
