Description

The adventure continues in Legacy 3 – The Hidden Relic.
Challenge yourself with this 3d point and click adventure game. Enter a hidden temple to discovery a mystery that has taken place there. Solve the puzzles in order to advance – but beware, someone might be watching. Maybe you should have an escape ready?

Legacy 3 will test your intelligence and memory. Play slow, think, analyze, and the puzzles will be easier for you solve.

Play as an young archaeologist who sets out on an adventure to follow his mentor who’s gone missing in an ancient pyramid filled with rooms and puzzles. In the pyramid you encounter puzzles and riddles that need to be solved in order to take you to the next room, and hopefully an escape. Connect the dots to solve the hidden secret that lies buried.

I am very proud to present this mystery filled puzzle game. Guessing the solution to a puzzle should not be an option, you need to think before you can advance to the next room.
A classical point-and-click adventure game with beautiful 3D-graphics and physics-based puzzles that create a new depth to the puzzle and escape room genre.

BEAUTIFUL 3D
Legacy 3 – The Hidden relic is a beautiful 3d puzzle game.

CHALLENGING PUZZLES
When encountering a new puzzle, think before clicking. This game will reward you for thinking creatively and I always strive towards making the puzzles seem logical.

PICK UP ITEMS AND TAKE PHOTOS
The rooms in Legacy 3 are filled with items and clues that are there to help you on your quest. Interact with amazing touch controls to inspect your newly found keys and tools. If you see something that looks interesting you can use your camera and take a photo – of whatever you like! Trying to remember that instruction you saw ten rooms before? No problem – just use the camera and you don’t have to!

ATMOSPHERE
Huge and natural looking locations designed with simplicity in mind creates a compelling and mysterious atmosphere. If Legacy 2 – The Ancient Curse was a dark game, this is the opposite. The rooms are big and brighter. But that does not make the puzzles easier. And there are still hidden objects that you need to find in order to solve the puzzles.

With an inbuilt hint-system you should be able to advance when you get stuck. Some puzzles are more difficult than others and this system should help you get to the next room.

Legacy 3 – The Hidden Relic Reviews

Our favorite type of game. On a par with The Room and DiVinci series. Very good hint system. A winner for sure.

We are enjoying all these games! Keep making more! Theyre really terrific.

We got months of enjoyment out of this, and would pay gladly for more by you. Thoughtful, entertaining, beautiful, challenging, intriguing, intelligent, fun, and not at all stressful, due to absence of time-related puzzles or monsters or enemies. The best of the best. More pleeeeeeease.

Update, cant wait to play Legacy 4, it is out now! We are really enjoying these, we’ve played all three and we can see the increasing depth of mechanics and story as David’s experience grows. We liked the hint system, but used the walk through at times because we wasn’t sure how hints were gained, but they did increase as we progressed through the game. There was one yellow room that we couldn’t get to, but we are not sure we were supposed to? We would never have figured out the statue’s significance without the walkthrough, though we made sense of the rest of the puzzles, and gave myself a slap for missing a couple of the clues. We don’t know if it was a glitch that we could reach the green goo from the walkway by the pedestal. We didn’t enter that room from where the video indicated the player should appear from, which also meant that there was one doorway we couldn’t access in that room. We are anticipating the next episode, especially since the ending caught us off guard when it happened. We should like to have had an option to hit the last couple of steps again, to be sure we didn’t miss something, even though getting the completion screen meant we had solved all of the puzzles. Well done over all great fun.

The Legacy game series keeps getting better. Relaxing to wander through intriguing and beautiful rooms with unique puzzles and mysterious story line. Appreciate the addition of hints. Fun to have both space and time travel, too. Thank you, David!

Very challenging so it keeps you having to think hard. Remember that items you thought you were done once you place them, may become useful later in the game. We had to use the walk thru a couple times to discover that. Please continue to make these games. They are by far the best out of all the puzzle games we’ve played so far.

Its an awesome value, if you do the math of dollars per hour of potential game play. But we NEVER would have made it through without the YouTube walkthroughs. We MAYBE figured out 2/3 of the puzzles without them, but we didnt try too many times on them before cheating (Im always impatient to see whats ahead when we play new games). Maybe Ill play it again in a few years after we’ve forgotten it, and try not to cheat.

We’re so sad we’ve now played all three games – we miss them and they were so much fun! They just kept getting better and better. The puzzles are all fair and figure-out-able, though a couple were totally Babelfish worthy (some of you will get that and understand it’s a compliment) we kicked myself at the few we didn’t figure out because we wasn’t observant enough and didn’t pay close enough attention to what was happening around us after some actions. One we never even came close to, it was too tricky. But after we stopped swearing at the solution , we had to acknowledge if we had looked at it from a different point of view (literally), the clue was fair. But hard, nonetheless! We took good notes this time about each room, which helps a lot. And the camera is a fabulous addition, thank you, thank you, thank you!!!! Please make more. You have a fan for life.

Fantastic game David. We love getting absorbed in your world of logic and observation. Im into the game but had to resort to the Blue walkthrough twice. Once because the train stumped us. After seeing what to do we still could not fathom your logic! The glass jar also stumped us but we love the solution; we wont give anything way ;) we preferred the system in the previous game where you got a hint when a room had been fully solved as it helped us know where we needed to go and not wasted time going through completed rooms trying to remember if we had completed it. Minor grip/personal choice. Every time we progress, in the back of our mind Im regretting that it also means Im closer to ending the game. We want it to go on forever!

We love a game that joins a good story with great graphics and challenging puzzles. Please make more, Im hooked!

Just like a cant put it down book. As a programmer, we are aware of the time, expertise and genius that goes into this series of games. It is thrilling, agonizing and satisfying to work/play through. It is hard to put a fair price on this work, but Id pay more! Thanks!!

Our 5 year old and we played this together and REALLY LOVED IT!! The puzzles were hard and the graphics were beautiful. Thank you so much for many hours of joyous game playing.

Addicted to Davids games? Yep. Months of enjoyment from the legacy series, a little bit each night before sleep. Nothing stressful, no monsters or soldiers or weapons or speed-related challenges. Extraordinary vistas and lovely music, intriguing puzzles. Thank you for inviting us inside your mind to play. If you like xon and da Vinci, myst and riven, eyes of Ara and returner Zhero. Youll probably like this too.

We really enjoy how after completing a level, theres still a chance youll need to return – because the game as found a new use for a tool or contraption later in the game. It feels less step-by-step, puzzle-by-numbers and more like you are truly experiencing the game as you are playing it. This is also weirdly the first of these we have played, we will be purchasing the other two as soon as Im done!

Love the design and the unique puzzles. Im hooked! We admire your detail and dedication to creating these awesome games. Keep them coming.

David, Thanks for several great games in the Legacy series! Im a fan of Myst, Riven, The Room, etc. And your games equally as entertaining. The graphics are great and the interface fluid. Our only caveats are: a label when entering a room To Rooms 5-7; some sort of notation of which floor youre on; written clues for each object acquired this looks like it might fit in a chest; and a deeper plot. We could play your games for days, not just hours. Really enjoyed the two different endings in the last game, would love to see the choices continue throughout the game! -J.

We’ve played several adventure puzzle games, and this was right up there with the Room series. Graphics were great, we liked the way the player could move through the scene and see everything, puzzles were challenging and the hints were good, we did use walk through a few times. Decent story as well. Always love the letters. Would play another!

David we hate you. Not! We could not stop playing this game, more intense than the first two! Wasted a lot of free time that we should have spent working on the boat ;) Well worth the low cost. Cant wait for another please! RF.

BUT, MMMMMMAN!!! This 3rd installment there were times, where we were losing our patience & mind, trying to figure certain puzzles OUT!!! We must be getting OLD we spent so much time in a given puzzle, trying to avoid the walkthroughs. We pretty much got fed up, 3/4 of the way through the BLUE CORRIDOR part, & we just followed the walkthrough. This PANDEMIC time on earth has EFFED ME UP, man! We just got through the game, 15mins ago, & idk WHY we feel such anxiety from figuring out the puzzles Im supposed to drive for LYFT, &, suddenly, Id much rather go outside & drink @ 3:38pm. But On the contrary, Im certain that David worked REALLY, really hard on the design, graphics, story, puzzles, & the entire concept of the game, as a whole (all 3 of them!) So, Id like to let David know that, THANK YOU FOR SPENDING YOUR PERSONAL TIME TO CREATE THESE WELL-THOUGHT OUT GAMES, FOR US HUMANS TO ENJOY! We thoroughly LOVED & ENJOYED Legacy 1 & 2, INDUBITABLY! THIS 1, for us, was just a little too hard & we HAD to look @ the walkthrough, which we HATE DOING! Lol Im just frustrated abt feeling that Im getting old & not as savvy at these, as b4 AGAIN, this has nothing to do w/ DILIGENT, HARD-WORKING DAVE. For every body else, YOURE GONNA LOVE THIS GAME!!!!

Amazing, thoughtful and intelligent design. Please make more!

Be prepared to take notes! This game took us quite a while. There were some things that were so challenging. We were happy to have a walkthrough for things that we understood but had missed, or saw but didnt understandi found the in-game hint system more confusing than helpful. However, we really enjoyed the depth of the puzzles here. We have a bad memory so we need to play as much as possible in one sitting, and take diligent notes. Its worth noting the details are absolutely gloriousthings like the worn away metallic orb that rotates. Textures and surfaces. The design of a room. We can tell David put SO much into this game (all of them, really!). Its been a delight and we would love another Legacy game in the future. Thank you, David.

These games are good. They arent super easy, so we can play on and off for a few days, but they arent so hard its frustrating. The puzzles make sense. We do like the hint system. It gives you just enough to know youre on the right track, since the puzzles arent lateral. Im going to hunt for installment 4 now. Question/spoiler: whats with Nefertiti?

Very challenging! Hope there is another one!

Each legacy is better than the last. We enjoyed all 3 of your games and Im hoping theyll be a 4th. Maybe exploring the pyramid that appeared. Only thing we hoped for was one more puzzle to solve after finishing Yellow. Something to do with the 5 rings maybe. In any case, please keep them coming! YEAH! We got your response and now we’ve just bought Legacy 4! Cant wait to just sink into it! You do awesome work! Thanks. We know you JUST released 4.. Time to start on FIVE! Thanks, man!

We just finished this game, took us over 10 hours. With this 3 rd game we had to get help from the you tube video quite a few times. But we enjoyed this game.

This game has all the hallmarks of intellectual challenges. The puzzle designs are creative and unlike other games your not battling the increased difficulty of solving them. The game has a good balance of difficulties. We are anticipating more good games to come!

This series of games has been fun and challenging, and each one gets better. Keep up the good work!

This game is WAY HARD!!!! We know Im old but wow, this is just impossible! We accept the challenge as long as walkthroughs exist, but now we are absolutely stumped even with the actual walkthrough! Thats OK though. Im just having a really hard time believing anyone can possibly complete this game without cheats because some of these puzzles are just too obscure. So, yeah, OF COURSE we will buy the next game. Apparently Im a masochist. And soon we will also be an alcoholic, because this game is driving us to that.

Engrossing, clever, well designed and fun to play.

Sometimes puzzles are nearly impossible but the overall graphics are superb and the hints are great without feeling like cheating. The link to youtube is great if youre ready to pack it in.

What a fun and interesting series of puzzle games. Difficult enough to be engaging yet enjoyable. We hope you make many more!

We are really enjoying the game so far. It has been a while since we got so wrapped up in a game. The Room series and House of DaVinci pair were the last. So much fun solving these challenging puzzles.

Considering this is made by one individual it makes this an impressive piece of art. We encountered no bugs and very smooth gameplay. Some of the puzzles were a bit too hard for us to solve and needed some hints beyond what the game provided. Other than that great storyline and thought out riddles.

Still trying to figure out the puzzle at the tracks in Room 12 where the rail track symbol plaques were to be added to board. Guess it wasnt needed?

This game is so fun! Its hard enough to make you think, but not so hard that you cant figure out the puzzles. We hope theres more to come!

Thanks David! This was a very good puzzle game. We like the story behind the the rooms you solve and the details were very good.

Terrific experience. Each game in the series displayed growth and refinements. This being the most polished. Of the three. It is worth ones time and is entertaining. Thanks.

The game is very nice compared to most point and click games and we love the puzzles.

Lots to solve in this game and like others you need to keep looking around and remember what youve seen. Take snapshots of things! We had a white board next to us to take notes along the way of what we wanted to do next. The clue system which tells you if youve got what you need to do the next step is helpful. There are definitely times when we’ve had an object and no idea how to use it, and resorted to walkthroughs to figure it out, with no guilt for not guessing the solution. Or times when we’ve just not figured out the UI for how to use something and needed to see it. But super fun and worth every penny spent!

This is our favorite genre of game and Im so glad we found these Legacy Lost Relic ones. The puzzles are great and the stories are compelling. We hope David continues to make more of them.

Great work David! Super fun games!!

This series is top notch. Fabulous. Excellent. Been puzzling through it for months, trying not to binge on it, so as to be able to return to the mysterious pyramid day after day. The sounds, visuals, pathways. Absorbing and ethereal. We love that you have given us another world to explore with zero pressure (no time-based puzzles, no monsters, no death or injury) but such good atmospherics and clever original conundrums that its completely engaging and an excellent retreat from real life. We dread finishing it. We hope you have more. Whatever you make, Ill buy it.

David youre amazing. The game is incredible and we can’t even imagine the thought and work that went into it. Hopefully we have them all. Looking forward to more of the same. Blessings!

Great game! We played Legacy 2 first and enjoyed it. The puzzles in this one are HARD and we wouldnt have finished it without playthroughs, but Id rather have a game thats too hard than too easy. The puzzles are also super creative and a step beyond the usual mystery room games. Im frankly amazed that this is made by a one man operation! Looking forward to possibly playing Legacy 4 in the future!

This guy really knows how to make an engaging and thoughtful game. Great atmosphere, interesting story, and exceptional puzzles. Things flow and interconnect almost flawlessly. Some of the puzzles have, in our estimation, some very challenging stretches in logic (to the point where we needed to reference a walk-through), but it by no means diminishes the fantastic journey through Davids archaic and mysterious world. Absolutely worth every penny. Cant wait till Legacy 4!

We’ve enjoyed all 3. This third one is a lil harder but we use the walkthroughs and then realize how we shouldve figured it out!,

Very enjoyable while also being very challenging. David did a great job with all of it. Some of it was so hard that we wished for better clues. The clue of us being in the right room didnt help a lot when we already knew that and still was at a loss for where to turn next. Maybe put a clock on the clues with the next update David and after certain amounts of game play time have elapsed give a stronger hint toward the next step. We dont like going to the tube in order to get the answer given to us but would rather have increasing hint power to help us figure out what Im doing wrong. But again, very good and definitely would charge for this. Missing out. We would have paid for them after the first. Give folks the first for free but then make a little money. Great job David!
