What to say about this game? The players are great! The concept is decent, the game play is extremely repetitive but for first six months can be very fun… Card value is criminal. The cost to play vs the value of your purchases is only worth it for the week of an event. 80% of your purchases are garbage the following week and 95% are garbage by the time the next cycle comes around. The real kicker is that with how much you spend to play, the customer support should be top notch… #theyarenot!… This game robs you blind and then leaves you on the side of the road naked and alone whenever you have an issue. We’ve NEVER had to reach out to customer support to any company this much and most of the time our issues take FOREVER to be resolved or the resolution is non existent. We ask myself every day why we still play, but regardless of whether we stay or not, they dont get nearly what they used to from us! We’ve been burned too many times to ever go full force into a game that just wants your money and doesnt care about the players who are giving it . Come for the concept, stay for the people, but just dont come in expecting to walk away happy or even comfortable after playing. The price of admission is high and the the rewards are hard to justify.
We have been playing this game for a few years now. The game is fun, but things have changed. It used to be that when there was an issue, you contact Support and you would get a helpful answer or some kind of REASONABLE compensation to resolve the issue. Free players at least used to have a chance of getting good heroes. Gem chests used to be worth it. No more! Even as players leave the game, the developers continue to make the game more and more reliant on forking out a lot of money in order to get good current heroes! The gem chests have decreased greatly in value! Trading bunches of gem chests does not even get you enough gems to buy 1 level in the event stores! The players are realizing this and are getting frustrated!!
We have played this game for a year or two. We also spent money on a monthly subscription. It was good at first but they got greedy and started changing how you get your heroes. You cannot get good heroes or sets of heroes unless you spend money to get gems. The cost of the hero pack increases a lot and caps at 5,000. You will get tons of crappy heroes before they even get one of the weekly heroes. We have spent 35,000 gems we saved up over several months of playing and only got two of the 6 heroes of that week. BEWARE THEY ARE NOT FRIENDLY TO THEIR CUSTOMERS. They will not treat you with good customer service. They will just pass you off with the cookie cutter message and forget you ever talked to them.

Incredible graphics, heavy duty thinking and planning strategies plus educating oneself on the many details of this game. We havent seen a more in depth game ! We enjoy it very much and have played for about 3 plus years. This game is expensive and unless you don’t want to be competitive , you will spend money … Lots. Also you are not guaranteed getting the cards you want to buy. Its a gamble and thats very frustrating for the customer! Even powering up a card is a gamble on which percent you will get!
We downloaded the new update and it wont open up or it kicks us off when we opening the games event. Please help we really love this game and thanks for creating an amazing game.. It hasnt done this in awhile and now its doing it again please help.

Each week, there are different parts of the game, with different art work. Suddenly, the game is crashing and we cannot open it. We get to the mail and boom, its gone. We love this game, but right now its annoying us.
We played for awhile bc we enjoyed the game now its filled with technical issues and lies to player’s all with the intent on getting you to spend more money to play the game, we’re just over it don’t waste your time.
Game is slow with blow by blow delivery of background processes that do not add to the game. Developers so tied up in fancy graphics that the game becomes unplayable. Administrators unresponsive. All the signs pf a game where developers are more concerned with self stroking than delivering a product worth playing.
Been asking the devs to fix an issue with Slayer events for a year now as the event page challenge are has been getting smaller and smaller every event. Now we can barely see one challenge on the page. Horrible customer service.
Game has a long history of glitches, crashes and poor developer implementation. Along with gatcha box casino type in-app purchase schemes. Read everything and know what you’re getting into with this game before buying anything. Latest update is formatted so horribly for tablet users, you can’t even see the action boss lines to play. Truly astounding at the lack of developer experience in this day and age. The only thing this game offers is a social network integrated into match3 monotonous gameplay. So if mindless swiping combined with sound bite chitter chatter is your thing… Then by all means go for this game. Or go to any other social media and keep your credit card in your wallet. The richer experiences are out there, just look past this game and be happier all around.
Events are very expensive to win and it’s impossible to scroll through event mobs on iPad Pro.
Changes to the game format have made it impossible to play on iPads, most iPhones and tablets. Message being relayed to players is the game is for phones – which doesnt explain the issue with non-ancient iPhones. Support for this game is basically non-existent. Played for years and it has become increasingly so not worth it.
We have tried a lot of free games download it off the App Store. LOL we decided to change our rating to one star instead of two we recently tried to work with Customer Service again because we miss the people that we play legendary with so we wanted to get our account active again . When we found this game we thought it was great. We found a tightknit group of about 30 people, playing the game and talking with one another about going to the zoo with their family and taking care of their children. One has two children age five-year-old and a 2 year old. Another is a really old man, been taken care of by a nurse. We could give you other examples like a guy that has a chimpanzee as a friend. Each and everyone of them are trying to get out of there heads every day for a few minutes and play this fantasy game and get away from the burdens of reality The point is we stuck around and played because of the people that gave us support in this game and share their lives with us. However after a few weeks a month of playing this game, we realized that in order to significantly embrace the game and be a player that wants to stick around we would have to pay a minimum of $50-$100 a month. And that is to be one of the average players in order to be at the top of the game in the top 800 teams. Each and everyone of those 30 players on each team will have to pay thousands of dollars a year. Think about it 30 teammates paying on the average of $2000 a year is $60,000 revenue they are making off of The backs of each team. Because of the competitive nature of this game, it becomes addictive and people start pouring their money into it in order to keep up. Recently they made a change in the game. Free play gets Pretty Mundane, and only spend $ 29.99 each month. And you could probably get into the top 10 of your team on a regular basis. They also made a major change in the graphics that was a bad choice. In addition to that You cant become one of the top players or have your own team without spending thousands of dollars a year on gems and good,strong heroes. Which loses their strength after that event so you have to buy new ones to keep up. If you want to pay an good game and spend 100 times the money than you would if you went and bought a good RPG game or Some kind of fantasy game. Then this is your game! If not keep looking and Im certain youll find something that for a reasonable price you can have the same kind of fun. We sincerely believe that its all about the Benjamins for the people that make this game. The ones with the money are able to progress build their team … Anybody that hasnt signed up and started pouring their hard-earned money into a bottomless pit just to get out of your head for a few minutes a day! We suggest you MoveOn and keep looking for the right balance of affordable fun game play and being able to compete without paying an arm and a leg. This game seems really fun but every time we see this as an ad, it states we receive $100 starter pack with a guaranteed super rare or 6 star hero. We downloaded the game because we were like okay, that sounds pretty awesome. After getting the first victory and choosing between water, earth and fire, we did not receive any form of a pack or hero that was $100. You had to pay $3.99 to receive a super rare hero and the advertisement was misleading.
We wrote a poor review earlier and a developer actually commented on our review and fixed the issue.
We downloaded this game from an ad saying Id receive $100 in game value but we didnt receive anything like that. The graphics are dizzying and the tutorial was very vague. Not very intuitive UI.
Love the game, but the energy required to play anything runs out way too fast. We can only play 4-5 minutes, or less, before we have to spend money or turn the game off and wait 2 hours to recharge, only to play for 2-3 minutes. We will give a 5 star review if you give more opportunities for earning energy and lowering the energy required for challenges and campaigns. Definitely not balanced…
We are addicted to this game. However, the UI needs quite a bit of work. The navigation isnt very user friendly and gets confusing. The guild system is hard to understand and there is no explanation of how exactly to participate within the app.
We’ve been playing this game for a few months now and its starting to lose its fun. This is a game where if you really wanna play competitively, and we mean only somewhat, you have to spend money. Now we’ve spent money on games in the past, but this is the most expensive phone game we’ve come across. By far. And it doesnt matter how hard you work or how much patience you have, thats not gonna help you either. Its sad, because if what they charge for their monthly VIP and their gem packages were reasonable, about half the price they ask at least, they could probably grow a huge fan base. Id be putting out money left and right. But if a game costs more then a PlayStation or Xbox game or two every month for what you have to become weak Month later since new cards come out every week.. Why? Again, we have no problem spending money if its worth it.

We’ve been playing for a long time and with each update they charge for more and more. Gifts need gems too. What a rip off. Im so disappointed with this game. Its only good for people who have time and money to spend. Otherwise you get nowhere. Our group used to have a lot of people but everybody has stopped playing. If you plan on playing this game on an iPad like we have for over 3 years.. FORGET IT! Since Halloween this year they made the boss screen so small by adding so much junk above it that you can only see part of ONE boss! Used to be able to see 4 bosses at one time, then 3, then 2, now less than 1 boss at a time. If they add any more junk you literally wont be able to play AT ALL. Not only is it not fun… Its infuriating. And we have written them, the response is … The game is made for phones. Like we said .. Been playing for over 3 years… This is the straw that broke the camels back!
In a game that is set up to cause repetition and speed, the developers will run in app promotions that switch placement of buttons to claim prizes out for buttons that spend your purchased or earned items. It is done so that your muscle memory will cause you to make purchases you did not want. The game is often not just about beating mythical bosses in a gem fight but fighting design decisions created by the development team. If you do not install the game, you cannot be tricked out of your money or time.
Im having fun. In a guild that we care about. But it infuriates us when we cant play the goddamn game when it continues to crash. We’ve lost keys this way. And yall are kinda shot for refunding them too. Make a game that doesnt crash please and thank you.

It desperately needs some fixing in the raid boss area. We dont think its fair for people who found the boss to not to be able to get their full hit in before someone else comes in and one-shots the boss. The raid should wait to show up on other peoples radars until after the founder is fully done with their first attack. Our second idea is that- why do players have to clear away bosses that have already been killed (that they didnt attack)? Its the biggest waste of time and we dont see why the game cant clear away the dead bosses for us. Nobody cares abt seeing the results when they didnt even receive anything. Were just trying to move on to the next boss so were not wasting our time. The third idea is that people should be able to advance through the event crusades faster than having to do five levels of each tier. We think that they should be able to advance depending on the averaged amount of overkill dmg they did on the crusade missions.
This game is very fun. There is a lot to learn and many game variations. You can keep busy for quite a while building your deck(s), its exciting to get new cards, and you have the chance to do that each week/event. The reason we say it is good for new players, is because that excitement wears off when your personal level (not card level) is maxed. Then it becomes the same events over and over. If youre super competitive, it may still be fun, but becomes routine. Youve read about the negative changes in LGOH and they are try statements. That relates to our next point. The reason we say dont spend money is because every event, the deck that is necessary to compete at a decent level, requires the deck for that specific event – example, earth commanders, water slayers, etc. Because of that, what you purchased prior, may not be effective. It also means that somebody just starting today could spend money and have a better event deck than somebody who has been playing for years. Lastly, the VIP hits max level early and the rewards have not changed. So, have fun and do t spend money, unless you have a lot. It may cost $300+ per week to get the event deck.

We downloaded this game when we were recovering from a catastrophic surgery. Im allergic to meds, so its heating pads and ice packs and laid up but not much to do. We needed to take our mind to a place of fantasy & Adventure to distraction from our pain. We all need an escape from the real world from time to time. This game put our state of mind in the realm of interesting beautiful arts and dangerous characters. It succeeded in helping us to heal. Thank you.
We have been playing this game since 4 months of its debut. We loved the game up until 2 years ago, when the graphics changed, developer attitude changed and also the game style changed and customer service became non-exsistent. In the beginning, when you leveled up your hero their appearance and clothing changed to exhibit their new stage of strength. There were 3 changes to each card. Now it is one graphic that is zoomed into. No change. Just a closer look. They stopped caring about the graphics. When a customer had a problem with game play or a suggestion to make game play more fun, dev were very receptive and respectful. Now that the have made millions, not so much. They have also promised one thing then turned around and broke their promise. Leading to 1000s of guilds (individuals, complete guilds) leaving the game. (Forever cards being an example). Customer service is almost non-exsistent. When you do receive a reply to your email, the rep is sarcastic or condescending. Do we still play? Yes. But we dont spend. We are now a free to play casual gamer. Do we recommend this game? If you have money to burn and a life to waste absolutely get involved. If not, stay away. We wish we could say better things because the downfall of this game makes us sad.

We experiences eyes tiredness and lost eyes concentration when we play this game. At beginning, this game seem fun but after one week, we notice this game repeating and nothing improving in art quality. They improves buying odd ratios. Last year, we need 2400 gems to buy a full deck, this years they upgrade their price on full decks are 5000 gems and that equivalent to 50 bucks every three days. We experiences we kept playing the same art and tactic over and over again just like a hamster on the running wheel. Its a waste of times and eyes soreness. Just our experience and want to share.

Have been a very active player until now. Worked ok back then. As is now this is a pay to win game that gets very expensive. It is now full of bugs. Shutting off, locking up, and incorrect scoring on a regular basis. If we could give no stars we would. If you want to spend a lot of money and time to progress only to have them drop the power of the cards you buy/earn after an event then by all means do so. Myself, we are joining others in boycotting this game. Nothing but aggravation and rip offs. Will not spend any more money on it and you should not either.
We’ve been playing this game since 2017, specifically the Alice in Wonderland event. Its a really fun game that looks stylish (even though they recycle the same assets over and over) and has very addictive, flashy gameplay. It was fun early on, but now we must echo everyone elses sentiments that this game is a waste of time (especially now, and especially for F2P players). This game has two serious problems that really prevent it from being worth your time or support: insane power creep and very predatory micro transactions that increased drastically in December 2019. About the power creep: 95% of the roster is irrelevant now, and gem crushs introduction killed off any older cards that still saw some use. To really illustrate it for you: a card from over a year ago would have something like an active ability with a 5-turn cool down that creates 2 Power gem IVs, while this week has a hero that creates several power V gems EVERY time they attack and its a PASSIVE ability! The absurd power increases of each new deck is so quickly outpacing deck design from even a few months ago that we suspect that soon decks will become irrelevant in a matter of one or two event cycles rather than being decent for at least a couple of months. This escalation is bad for the health of the game and very bad for every players wallets. Also, yes, of course the trash cards make up most of the card drops you get from premium packs. About the predatory micro transactions: Theyre VERY predatory, with steep prices that give you premium currency so you can buy the chance to gamble on a gatcha with very low (hidden) drop rates for the relevant event cards. Events reward pitiful amounts of premium currency, so you have to whale in order to get a full event deck and whale even harder for a leaderboard spot. Modest spending wont make enough of a difference to be anything more than a complete waste of money. Also, the premium monthly subscription fee is $30/month. Thats double the price of a World of Warcraft monthly subscription, which feels like a joke since this is a match 3 mobile app where all you do is collect pictures and WoW is a giant MMO with thousands of hours of varied content to experience. It really feels like the devs are making more and more egregious changes just to see how much money they can keep squeezing out of people before they completely tank their game and destroy any good will customers had towards them.
