Played on 15 x 15 board, Lexulous is an uber new way to learn wonderful words while giving yourself a chance to test your vocabulary.
Lexulous is all about making words from the letter tiles. Each player has to create a word in their respective turn. It’s very simple:
◆ Pick up suitable letters from your tile rack of 8 tiles.
◆ Place them wisely on the board to form words that score the highest points.
◆ Check the word validity from the in-built Dictionary.
◆ Click on Play to submit your move! And there’s your score!
Utilize four premium squares to score double or triple points. Even if you don’t use them ensure you block out your opponent’s!

Community Insight:
Most other games heavy on cartoonish graphics, rewards, levels wrapped in history or books which gosh, we just wanna play adult SCRABBLE without an arcade element. This platform is that. We miss the feature we enjoyed in another game where if no play is possible, it tells ya. Saves a few brain cells and a load of time. Wishing this game had that feature and then it'd be perfect.
Our only problem is that we cant select our opponent when playing live games.
Again we go into play games and we had to login with our FB as usual figuring app or FB messed up again. Our existing games are gone! Why.
Love the game, but find it hard to connect with new people. Those numbers are hard to remember. Can you find an easier way? Use our names.
Ive been playing lexulous since it started. We love the game but hate the ads.
We love the game but hate that we have no control over the ads. Some of them are just obnoxious and way too long. Sorry, we guess we should buy the full version, but we only play with one person and cant see the point.
This has happened more than once. All of a sudden the page with the games does not show up. When we click on the Game icon on the bottom does nothing. Frustrating.
Our only complaint is the number of ads for games we have no interest in! They are way too long and most annoying.
Facebook login doesnt work on iPhone.
Why was we blocked from Lexulous.
Our wife and we play 10 games constantly wonderful way to keep your wits and build the vocabulary.
This variation of the traditional Scrabble Board game is the best. Lots of tiles , great board point system. Ease of use all work for us.

Been playing Lex forever-great fun and keeps our brain cells active.
The person who writes the dictionary should be fired. In the few games we played before deleting it, it wouldnt accept words it should have recognized. Meanwhile, the computer opponent is coming up with words (cough) we cant find in any dictionary. They arent real words but theyre accepted anyway. There should be a feature where, if the word isnt being accepted theres a challenge button that will trigger a look up of the word so it will be accepted and added to the dictionary. If you can do that and clean out all the fake groups of letters youre calling words, this will be a five star game.
The previous version did not have sound effects and clicking of the letters. We miss that one.
Playing our first game and we used the word equal and it said the word was null, so we played shaded and received the same response. One of the letters has to be on the center + square, right.
We love the game. Hate all the advertisements. If we have three games going on we are able to play one game and then we have to close it down because its 5 to 7 minutes of advertising other games on the site. It is very annoying. Hence, we waited a one night for the game, but for the site that its on. We have tried everything to get those removed and we are not able to. We have a friend that we play with does not get them, and so we dont know what happened to our games but this is how its always been. If you could help us, Id appreciate it.
Ive contacted Lexulous several times trying to explain that the people that Im playing are not all showing on the devices that we have. One shows five people we are playing, which is our older iPad and the newer iPad and the computer only showed two people they wont get them together. Ive tried to do what they said, and nothing seems to work. We just want them all on the same instruments that we used to play Lexulous other than that we love Lexulous.
We always have to restart this app because you cant click out of the ads. Pass on this.
Notifications stopped working on our iOS version and now this latest version has tons of ads. Not only that, they dont have an X out button and you have to close and reopen the app to play. We dont play nearly as much anymore. Stinks.
The ads are most annoying but the game is fun.
Lexulous is an improvement over Scrabble – better distribution of letters and far easier to get 7-letter words. HOWEVER, the constant bombardment of ads that you are literally FORCED to watch or wait for them to end is over the top! Some even hide the X button so that it takes you an extra 5-10 secs to find, and some are so tiny it takes about 7-10 tries to click. What a ridiculous invasion of personal time. If you are clearly not interested in a product, why are you forced to watch the as? Some ads are over w0,secs long! Aaaaarrgghhh.
We love Lexulous. Ive been playing it for, we believe twenty plus years! We can take our turn whenever we chose , and take as long as we need to decide which word to playI love this ap.
It would be nice if the notification just come on the screen on the board automatically letting the other player know. We dont want emails, we dont want text, we dont want Facebook notifications. Just a set a little box saying Your turn that does it automatically. Our wife and we lay our tiles and then have to say your turn. Kind of annoying. If we are not together, then its not even possible. Otherwise, great game it fills the scrabble sized hole in the app universe that was formed when scrabble stopped working.
These days, word games are full of buggy gimmicks. Not this one! It is as basic as you can get, but you can still chat with your friends. Why would you want anything else.

Playing is fine its the gambling adds and long gaps of playing scrabble cause of other games shoved down our throat ,.
We cant get the ads to go away.
We have been playing with friends for many years. We probably will continue to do so but not happily. Between games we frequently get ads for other apps that refuse to close until we reboot our phone. As a result we reboot 2-3 times a day. Annoying to say the least. Also it grabs our Bluetooth speaker from whatever else Im listening to. Frustrating and upsetting.
Ads have gone from 10 second to over a minute lately. We know several players whove stopped playing due to this, saying lex has become user unfriendly. Im close to joining them. Make yr ads short and sweet!! Dont bore us to death-theres a limit to how long well be held hostage.
This is a fun game to play and theres a dark mode which is terrific. Its an attractive game that you can score high on pretty easily if you place your tiles in the right place.
We play with our daughter and a man we worked with 40 years ago-we all challenge each other. Better than Words with Friends.

We had bee playing Lexulous for several years with about 6-7 friends twice daily! For some reason The games were deleted from us! Ive been on this site for 30 years and many good changes! Also we made friends that lasted over 15 years or more.
We are partially red/green colorblind, it can be very hard to see whether our word is OK. It would be SO great if the symbol changed shape in addition to turning green. Thanks for the great app.
No bells, loud whistles and distractions, but no running tally.
So far fun & easy. Little different from WWF but we think we like this better.
We have been playing Lexulous for years and we have played with friends & family.
We got no help to move our mate and us to this new Apple IPhone unless we paid $5.
Have been playing for years and with 3 games going suddenly everything disappeared and cannot connect back.
We dont mind ads, but Im getting ads for games while on Lexulous that we cant cancel out of, no matter how many times we press the cancel button. We actually have to power down and restart to clear the ad. Does anybody know what is going on.
Between expert and champion another level should be added. We win the majority of matches in the expert level. We NEVER win at the Champion level so we stopped trying. We think another level would be good.
- We got the version that was not free thinking the ads would stop. Nope It was money down the drain. 2. Fairly common words in the English dictionary are sometimes not allowed while foreign words are randomly allowed.
Ads that have a tiny unclickabe x and open 3 browser windows anyways.
