Description

The original Lifeline took the App Store by storm, reaching #1 Top Paid Game on iPhone and Apple Watch in 29 countries. Its compelling mix of real-time storytelling and Dave Justus’s suspenseful writing continues to capture the imaginations of countless players worldwide.

Lifeline 2 raises the bar with a new story almost twice as long as the original, with many more choices and paths to explore. Lifeline 2 features a 28-minute original soundtrack and is fully optimized for watchOS 2, delivering the best Lifeline experience on Apple Watch yet.

The second story in the Lifeline series connects you with Arika, a young woman on a deadly quest to avenge her parents and rescue her long-lost brother. Your choices will keep her alive and help her succeed as she faces mortal danger on her way to a final, fateful showdown against the forces that threaten all of humanity.

Lifeline stories play out in real time. As Arika travels to complete her quest, notifications deliver new messages throughout your day. Keep up as they come in, or catch up later when you’re free. You can even respond to Arika directly from your Apple Watch or your iPhone lock screen, without launching into the app on your phone.

After completing any story branch, you can rewind to earlier parts of the story, or speed through parts you’ve already read. See what happens when you make a different choice: will you guide Arika virtuously, or cut corners to gain an edge? Seemingly simple actions can deeply affect the outcome.

Arika’s story, and the fate of the world, depend on your judgment. You will face the consequences together, because Arika is relying on YOU.

Lifeline 2 features no in-app purchases and no ads. An Internet connection is not required.

“For a few brief hours I cared – really cared – about the fate of a completely fictional character. I don’t think any other game I’ve played has made me feel that way before.” – Matt Thrower, PocketGamer

Lifeline 2 Reviews

We love all the lifeline games, but besides the original lifeline, this one is probably our favorite. We’re a sucker for magic and we felt so attached to Arika from the start. There was more story, too, and it was excellently written. I’d definitely recommend this to anyone who likes choice games and more to those who played the original lifeline. Can we give it more than five stars? As an apology for constantly making Arika walk, heh.

That was so good hope the next one comes out soon!

Easily, and we mean EASILY, the most enjoyable game we have downloaded. This trumps Pokmon GO 20 times over, the character design makes Arika feel like shes an actual person (as lifeline games tend to do) and the fantasy approach really helped us enjoy this even more, dont get us wrong, we played Lifeline and Silent Night before Bloodline, but goddamnit if this isnt the best the series has to offer to us as of yet. If you havent already downloaded this, we HIGHLY recommend it, they even added fast mode to make sure you dont have to wait as long, have fun, and make the correct decisions.

After finding so many games a huge disappointment, we’ve been totally delighted with this one, as well as the other two apps by these developers. Totally worth it, we promise!

This app had an amazing story and was outstanding.

WHERES THE SEQUEL YIU CANT LEAVE IT HANGING LIKE THAT, TAKE MY MONEY we NEED A BLOODLINE 2.

We love this series. It’s great to have a game you can play on your own time and it’s so immersive!

We really liked the character. It was fun helping her. The end was a bit rushed, but in all it was fun.

What an amazing story. Thank you for making this game.

Made it to the monetary with Arika and the loop with the monk and after she says everything about "Doctor Who" it just stops. It doesn’t say Arika is busy or any dots. It just doesn’t do anything );.

We think they just keep getting better and better.

Phenomenal game. Recommend to anyone.

Loved this one so much. Great game.

Great game, love waiting for the replies. Very original and fun!

Our favorite Lifeline game in the series, it combines everything we love about the games into one masterpiece.

Wonderful game especially if you played Lifeline and Silent Night. However! Her character was a little off putting at first about half way through she grew on us and then tying it all together with the precious games was a well welcomed shock but depressing too because what did Taylor shoot himself into a blackhole for? So many unanswered questions and im excited for the next game!

We liked the first one but this sequel puts it to shame. It’s so great.

Can’t wait for the next one, such an awesome story!

We really enjoyed the story and we can’t wait to see a continuation from where this story ends.

Just like the books we read when we were a kid, but way cooler.

We love to read books, you can read them when you have time, and when you don’t have time, we find myself wondering what’s coming next for the characters in the book. This game is sort of like reading a fun story, but we get to control the main character, and make decisions for her that change the direction of the story. There are times when she needs to sleep or walk a long distance, and is gone for hours, and then send a message saying she’s awake or at her destination, and asking for guidance or just some conversation. There is no need to respond right away, so the game doesn’t mess with a work day, but it is fun to check on a break and see where she is, and help her along to the next adventure. This game is worth the 99 cents all day long.

This app is the greatest app we’ve ever purchased. In the end we actually shed tears, it seems like she was our child. We can’t wait to help arika agian!

This is the kind of app that if it were a show, at the end you would stand up with tears in your eyes clapping until your hands hurt. This series of apps are truly wonderful. Im in high school and obviously hate reading more than life itself. But the way this story is told and morphed around what you decide, is brilliant. Top of the line game right here. 10/10 would recommend.

Spoiler: Quote from end of game "And you have not seen the last of Arika Lanphear" Part 2? Yes please liked this person much better than the person from Lifeline 1.

Great game! Wonderful storytelling. We truly felt a bond with Arika. It’s easy to forget that she’s not real, and we wanted her to be happy throughout the entire thing. Keep ’em coming!

It was amazing, and, we’re not going to spoil anything but we were interested in the slight similarities between Taylor’s story and This one. Key word: Green/Green eyes Also, we think that all the people rating this epic tale with only 1 or 2 stars should really rethink it. Its NOT a waste of money. But we must agree that their should be a completely different story next time. Thanks :)

We have played all the Games in the Lifeline series and really enjoyed them all. However, this one was our favorite. The story was great and loved the interaction.

This app has a different story and a bit more involved with the main character but by the end the authors have created a slight tie to the story of Taylor. But get it and play it and get even more challenges and enjoyment that Taylor gave to us. As with Lifeline 1&2, this is the most engaging app we’ve played. So, it’s different but in our opinion it’s as good, if not a bit better, then the Taylor series. And there’s an indication that this story will have a sequel. Enjoyment we never thought to find in an app like these. Get them, play them, and enjoy. Great recommendation.

This story line was amazing. We felt like we were talking to a real person! (Not in a creepy way.) Arika, the main character, was just like a normal teen and didn’t seem at all like a boring computer. (Also not in a creepy way.) all the events were in real time and everything was well paced. We recommend this to everyone!

No complaints at all, the devs really did a good job on this one.

DOWNLOAD NOW Pros: -Long story -Good graphics -Runs fast -VERY WELL DONE Cons: Would be cool if our watch’s story would interact with other people’s watch’s storylines.

This is truly our favorite of the Lifeline games. The magic theme was our favorite factor of the game and we really loved the story and flow of the game. There were times when we were so immersed that we actually felt concern for the character. We’re dying to play the sequel and we really recommend this game! 6 stars if we could.

We loved it. It was just as good if not better than the first one, we really hope they continue to make these games!!!

Great games, love the series, but we encountered a spelling error recently while playing the game. The sentence is: "It looks like it should be pronounced ‘kle-res-tury’ but it’s actualy pronounced ‘clear-story.’" In this sentence, the word actually is spelled ‘actualy.’ we noticed this right away, and there’s probably someone else who mentioned this to you already, but if you could please update the game for this spelling fix, we would be very grateful. Thanks.

We really liked the game it felt like we were actually there and connected to the story and we love it and we can’t wait for the next one.

We love all the lifeline games and have played them all. Please don’t stop making them. P.S we love how you connected all the games with the green eyes.

Our second one like this. This will keep you guessing till the end. It will make you question your selection every time. We have the next one ready and can’t wait till we get off work to start it.

This app was great fun and had real time unlike the other ones. Challenging as well as funny and cheesy we would recommend it to anyone who is patient and who loves adventure. Definitely worth your money!!

If you only play this game, you’ll probably love it. If you played the other games, you’ll notice a striking similarity. That said, the game play is super engaging. We don’t really play games but we couldn’t wait to get notifications after Arika was busy. We had made a mistake early on and there was a bit of a dues ex machina to fix it at the end. It would be nice if the dagger got a little bit more background to make that part more believable. Like having the dagger look out for people. We agree that we didn’t quite understand the connection. It’s better when you think of it not speech to text as much as directed thought to text and she could open it to listen to others too.

We enjoyed the humor and snark of the protagonist, and felt caught up in the story and the tension. We highly recommend giving it a try. :)

Great game we recommend this to everyone. It’s well worth the 2 dollars and seems longer then the first one, although the decisions you make are not as life threatening near the beginning, the plot line was far better then the first!!!

The story was brilliant and our heart pounded and our emotions flared when things in the story got rough. We felt attached to this imaginary character, and felt scared for her when Id made the wrong decisions. And we love the theme of the green. We remembered it from lifeline 1 and shuddered immediately. Bravo.

Again like with the Taylor chronicles we loved this story as well as charter, how ever it took way longer in its waiting periods then it should have, anyways we’re dieing from the wait for the sequel.

We have played all the lifeline apps now. They are fun and engaging. We can’t wait till the sequel for lifeline2 comes out! We will miss the main character until then.

Though we ended up playing with the fast mode on, the story definitely holds on to you and doesn’t let go. The choices you make easily can turn a great choice to an end game.

By far our favorite of the lifeline series we can’t wait to start the next one, the story progressed well and the fact the each choice can have a dramatic effect on the story is amazing.
