Praise for Lifeline:

“I’ve played many games that I find engrossing, but Lifeline may be one of the first that changed the way I thought about my daily routine, which leapt off the screen and became a part of my lived experience.” – Eli Cymet, Gamezebo

“For a few brief hours I cared – really cared – about the fate of a completely fictional character. I don’t think any other game I’ve played has made me feel that way before.” – Matt Thrower, PocketGamer

Lifeline: Flatline Reviews

We usually don’t write comments, but we had to for this story. This is our favorite story out of all the Lifeline games so far! We really enjoyed the horror atmosphere and was really engrossed the whole time. While we do like the sci-fi genre, we would really like to see more "horror" Lifeline games in the future.

We’re a huge follower of the lifeline series and we loved this game. The story was engaging, and seeing them delve into another genre is awesome. We love Wynn to death and we really liked the ending? It definitely adds a layer to the overarching "Lifeline" plot too. They say we’ll see Wynn again, but the sooner the better.

It is genuinely challenging to find the way out. There are more than enough plot twists in the game and our tendency to play it safe definitely influenced the outcome. After a week we finally made it to the end, but it was hard and we stayed up many a late night trying to help Wynn through horrifying dilemmas and avoid nasty critters. There are things we would change, but it is what it is and it is quite exhilarating, to put it mildly. Well done to the Lifeline team on this one. Well worth the purchase.

It’s been extremely hard for us to find a mobile game that we like but this… This is very hard to put down. Kind of like a good book, except that book has the reader making choices and affecting how the story goes. The music could be just a little better in our opinion but it’s not bad enough to take away a star.

Can u add a map so people who want to play the entire can go down different paths without going through the same path.

If you like games like telltale where you choose the story, this is one of the best games up there.

We love all of your games. The story lines are great and they keep you on your toes. You never know what is around the corner. Keep up the good work! Looking forward to your next challenges.

We love all the lifeline games. They are awesome. So entertaining and riveting. Keep making them and we’ll keep getting them.

Fun game–feels like you are really talking to someone. You have to make some tough calls!

So. We love lifeline. The first game was amazing and we’ve loved all of them since. This one was also amazing and very mysterious and interesting. However, why do you have to wait so often. We swear to god it took Wynn 3 minutes to open a door! Besides that this was just one more amazing lifeline game!

Amazing game and super intuitive!

You all are fantastic with your story-writing, and giving an alternate choice that results in a huge change of paths, it is insane. Cross referencing each other, with saying that New Tenacity was the start of this story, and linking the PWG in with Lifeline 2 and Crisisline, it’s great. We’re surprised when we put down Taylor as our name it didn’t give us a reference to Taylor in his/her story arcs.

Our favorite of the Lifeline games so far. Definitely keeps your heart racing.

Please make a version from the greens point of view for the war or in the lab that wynn was in! Also make a second Flatline pls.

Really awesome game with lots of hours of play time.

Excellent game, very engaging — a real throwback to the text adventures of our youth, but modernized. Creates a super engrossing, spooky, and dystopic atmosphere.

We’ve been playing all of the Lifeline games and this is one of our favorites. It’s longer than the Taylor stories and a bit more relatable. We got through in the first try instead of poking around the story time and time again. It wasn’t that it was easier but that we knew what we would actually tell someone in that situation. It was slightly creepy without trying too hard and pretty awesome that sometimes you had to make the tough calls to keep the protagonist alive. Great game, can’t wait for the next in the Wynn storyline!

Because just this ending doesn’t give us answers if the Green will be defeated and Wynn not dying also is there going to be a sequel to this storyline of this game series? Because it was great but we think it would be better if we had a window on what the character is actually seeing instead of them describing what’s going on.

Got really attacked to the character, can’t wait to see how more personable they will get. Miss the different color dialogue though. Bring back?

The Lifeline Series have been our favorite on-the-go games to play, and ever since the original Lifeline, we often find myself searching the App Store to see if there have been any new Lifeline releases. 3 Minute Games can expect this loyal customer to buy every future release from the Lifeline series! (As long as we don’t make another Whiteout )

Interesting. Creepy and cool at the same time.

We hade to right a review for this game. We love how it’s different from the rest. We want to see more horror Style lifeline stories in the future. It truly is a unique and thrilling game.

Definitely our favorite out of series.

We were slightly obsessed with this game. We really did like that you could go back and make different choices without having to start the game over from the beginning.

This game [ AWAITING TRANSMISSION… ] Is very fun [ AWAITING TRANSMISSION… ] And we’ll put [ AWAITING TRANSMISSION… ] Together.

We love all of these games and they’re getting even better in their gameplay and their function! Thanks!

Very very scary. Great storyline.

Despite being text only, these games are engaging and get you sucked in, like a good book. We recommend all of them: Flatline, Lifeline 1 & 2, Crisis Line, Silent Night, Infinity, and Whiteout.

We have played most the other lifelines and we’re liking this one so far.

This is pure entertainment. It’s starts and a good pace and it’s easy to stay on track story-wise. In a way, you feel like Cortana talking to Master Chieh, except on a more human scale. This is our first Lifeline game and we will definetely be playing more!

This series is so perfect. Can’t stop playing.

The game was awesome. We liked the new, innovative concepts in this episode in particular. We liked the plot, such as the dilemmas of trust, the concept of this new implant device, and the continuation of this large, complicated story from Taylor to Adams to Wynn. Although we want to give our own feedback, this game and series is truly worth infinite stars as this unique series really creates a feeling of likableness that one just cannot seem to feel in other apps. Having played the game a three times, the only parts of the app we would want to change are to change the picture on the main menu and a new option for email options. Firstly, the picture of that green monkey really reminds us of that monkey on the "Powerpuff Girls" called Mojo Jojo. We know you added the picture for Holloween, but could you replace it with the main character like you have with every other app? Secondly, would it be possible to only ask the player once to give their email because we don’t like the fact that after we have completely finished the game, we seem forced to turn in another email after having completed the game again. Having said that, we would also like to know what the Monkey Samson and the "rat king" looked like. We know the description of the creatures were made up of the skins of multiple animals, but we feel that it lacked the imagery in terms of the shape and other physical features, such as how it walked and moved. (I wonder if the formation of the rat king is similar to those pictures in the orphan house in "Lifeline 2"). We also would like to know more about the character of Wynn as we noticed that the character of Delilah was being discussed more throughout the story. Other than that, we compliment you guys on this amazing series that you have created. Great work!

If you enjoy a good text based game that gives logical options, this game is for you!

The story line is longer, decisions feel almost more critical. Each decision has us on edge and Im so excited to see where Wynn ends up as Im still playing rn. We’ve been playing these Lifeline games for a while now and this is our favorite so far. We absolutely love Flatline.

The story line is so awesome and pretty much better than anything we’ve ever played.

The writing keeps us interested, the actual wait times both let us take a break and help with immersion and it’s not a pain to go back and try something else if you screw up. We’re also a fan of whenever the main character asks us to check something because they are unable (it’s the little things that matter). In this particular game they went the extra mile with that and we really appreciate that! (No spoilers) If they keep up this quality we’ll definitely pick up any future games this company puts out.

We love the continuity between stories and how they all exist in the same universe. Very impressively done! This one was our favorite yet.

This game will keep you going. Wondering, worrying, and fearing if Wynn will be ok. The suspense you get with the real time interaction is insane! And some moves that you might think are keeping her safe, actually are what kill her. If you immersive yourself, you’ll even fool yourself into believing that your actually helping a real person! It’s amazing! We highly recommend and it’s definitely worth the cost! Believe us, we were reluctant first, but it was so worth it!

We really enjoy all of their games. This one had a few more breaks in between play then we wanted but it was still really cool. Do yourself a favor and play it!

We frickin LOVED this game. Can’t wait for next one.

Game is very interactive and fun the story also keeps you on the edge always wondering if the next choice is your last.

When we downloaded the game we kept choosing the wrong buttons and it you can feel like you are in the game.

This series is so amazing. You can’t help but get attached to the characters at some point. Can’t wait for more!

We like the real time aspect of the game and the story is really interesting and interactive.
