Lines is an abstract ‘zen’ game experience where form is just as important as function. Place or remove dots to initiate a colourful race that fills a drawing. The colour that dominates the race wins. Lines is the perfect game to play while commuting or in other short moments of downtime. Play a single session in a matter of seconds or find yourself making a winning streak of 20 games in a row!

Point Mode
Tap on a line to place a dot. Be smart and choose and strategic and logic position for the dots. Sometimes you need to place one dot, other times two dots.
Eraser Mode
Tap on an opponent´s dot to erase it.
Draw Mode
Draw a line with your fingers to connect lines to your advantage. Use your brain!
Cut Mode
Cut a line to stop the flow of your opponent´s color.
Portal mode
Tap the line across 2 places to create a portal. Your line will be teleported from one place to the other. But beware: your opponents can also make use of the portal you have created, so choose its location wisely!

We wrote a review 2 weeks ago complaining about recent changes to Lines regarding ads and the Daily Challenge. Im happy to report we got messages directly from the developer (Gamious) which addressed our complaints and LINES IS BACK TO NO ADS (if purchased that way) and the Daily Challenge has the Play Again option restored. We play the daily release of Lines first thing every morning. We also play lines when we have a long wait, like when Im flying. No internet needed so its a great plane game.
This game challenges your brain so good! We were going through our Game Center when we saw this gem and didnt finish the achievements, so we decided to redownload it and oh boy!! We love the concept, the use of the piano keys after colors hitting each other, and the overall minimalist design! We did pay for no ads but that $2 is worth it to het the full zen experience.
We love this game. It is excellently crafted. Clean, smooth, and the music is great. Provides a nice challenge without being painfully difficult. Amazing job.
We were looking for a no commitment app, and this is it. Got two minutes? Play a few levels. The free version is riddled with ads, so we paid the $2 and got rid of them. As a note, we had this game many years ago, and came back to it. Thats how much we liked it.

Each mode adds a new twist that requires you to approach the puzzles from a new perspective. Anyone who tries this game will have to acknowledge the simple, exquisite design, if nothing else. If youre a fan of minimalist puzzle games, get this game. Lines is unique and elegant, simple and complex, with enough content to satisfy anyone. Most puzzle games out there look for ways to cut corners, pack in more ads and IAPs, and copy other games. Lines is the opposite. They put in the extra effort to make the game more user-friendly, more satisfying and more fun to play. This game deserves to go viral. Its been around for a while now, but who knows? Theres still a chance for it to get the recognition it deserves.

Relaxing and just challenging enough.
Superb way to learn and understand spatial organization and timing.
We didn't know what to expect but this is really good. It makes you think and is fun too. You can play a quick round or two or spends hours on this. Easy to learn; some levels are quite hard (yet fun). Now we're further into the game and we still really enjoy it. We "discovered" Night Mode recently and this really makes some level "pop". After upgrade even more fun. Love Daily Challenge With the addition of Portals Im looking for a 6th Star to give this fun game.

This is a great little game. We enjoy playing the Daily Challenge or relaxing during our commute.
Offense, defense, passive play. Still amazing and fun. Update March 2023: Still loving this game. Wow. Very few games hold our interest this long. 499 levels now! Every time you play, it is different. 2018: It's simple and complex at the same time. Pure enjoyment. Although we've mastered the puzzles long ago, we still visit the Lines app now and then… Because every puzzle (there are 250) is different…every single time. The developers have a deep understanding of physics — which we DON'T have, but we know enough about to recognize a masterpiece. Well-done. And its definitely a brain-builder. You learn how to gauge the probability of winning the race. There's offense involved (getting to the crossroad first), and defense (strategically blocking the opposing colors), and passive play, too (let the opposing colors block each other). This is a game that really has a lot of depth and skill involved, if you choose to look for it. We are completely loving this. Previous: Highly recommend this game. The more we play, the better we get at seeing where to add points, erase points, or cut lines. Love this gameplay.

This is the game we had the longest and still play daily. It is very enjoyable and sometimes challenging. There is a color blind mode where the colors have symbols. Unfortunately, for a few years now, the game doesn't fit entirely in the rounded screens of the newer iPhones (not sure if it is a problem with Androids too), and the symbols which are in the corner, are now invisible. This had made us lose games because we wasn't exactly sure with color/symbol we were. (In some levels, the colors are very similar. Too similar.) we hope they will fix this, but it seems the developers have kind of given up on this game.
About a month or so ago, l wrote to you about giving us a larger variety of puzzles for the daily challenge rather than the same 15 or 20 over and over. For the last few weeks Ive noticed many different puzzles appearing daily. Coincidence? We think not. We like to think someone listened. Thank you so very much. Terry.
This game is perfect for when you cant sleep! Its quiet piano music combined with the soothing motion of the lines lulls you right to sleep 5/5. Theres no ads (at least not for us) and the simplicity of the gameplay is just so calming . If youre competitive this game will satisfy your winning urge and relax you in the process.

Challenging, addictive, sometimes unfair or seemingly impossible solutions Its often hard to determine colors of dots and some are not easy to see.
Microscope is impossible. Our only complaint.
We saw that there's a Level Editor mode on the Steam version, please add the Level Editor to the Mobile versions.
Great tiny games but the music interferes.
We were playing and it crashed and we thought it was weird so we went back on the game and it had restarted the game and we were almost finished with the game but we were mad checked our internet and it was fine so please dont download it if you have anger issues.
