War has entered the intensified stage: the city has been surrounded by tanks; the guards have lost contact with the main force. At this critical moment, how should you rescue your companions as a little commander? Take your heart and you may change the war!
In this game, you shall act as a little commander, who has taken control of a small troop temporarily. Your goal is to fight against the waves of enemies’ attacks!
While fighting against your enemies, you should to improve your strategy and become a better commander!

Very fun game, a lot of options to upgrade troops. Only complaint is there are not any updates that add new battlefields.

We’re on level 4 on normal mode and endless lives we made it to 195 waves and it failed us we’ve then made it to 76 waves on hell and failed again we’re tired of playing the same level we’ve beaten it 20 times now but it keeps failing us ????
We’ve played many tower defense games in our time and Little Commander is certainly in the good and great category, however there is a rather large difficulty curve that appears in the 3rd level of the game. Once you get to get to level 3 get used to the first two levels. You will be playing them over and over again just to get the upgrade points so you can attempt level 3 which gets quite hard very fast. We remember playing this game before and getting so bored with the first two levels that we just gave up and bought more update points.
This has the potential to be a great little game, but its mainly overshadowed by the inability to actually finish a single mission without having to restart the game due to locking up. This issue alone is enough to cost the 2 stars we’ve docked it. Theres also room for some additional improvements. Only 2 upgrades per unit isnt enough, upgrades to fire time would be logical, and ammo mods would make it far better. But first, get it stable enough to actually play!!
Would be a decent game, but gameplay is way too fast. It would be nice to actually see the troops and have time to plan ahead. Takes all of the strategy out of it because you just place any tower down as fast as you can to catch up.
Needs to be fixed.. Always freezing up so we have to close out of it & re open to start over.
The game is fun, but we cant keep it if its resetting all our progress, like this is the SECOND or THIRD TIME its reset all our progress, Im not gonna delete it YET only because theres a chance youll fix it, until then we wont play it, but if its not fix for a long time, then whats the point of keeping it if all our hard working progress is deleted, like whats fun in trying to progress/beat the Game if its gonna restart us anyway, basically making our time wasted and all our hard work for nothing.
Seriously though, the game is extremely unoptimized for the platform its on. To the point that it is infuriating to play at certain times. Which really leaves us to question why it was put onto the App Store if it wasnt anywhere near stable enough to pass as an IOS app. Aside from that, theres also the issue that your save state will be rolled back to when you last saved if you use the Continue button on the opening screen instead of the Start button. We’ve lost a lot of progress because of that. It wouldve been an easy fix to just have the game take a new save after you finish a level. The difficulty curve is massive and youll be stuck grinding Upgrade Points for a while before you can muster enough firepower to beat the next stage on casual mode no less. Spamming the Bomber ability is almost a necessity in some of these levels. Some of the turrets could use more levels to upgrade them to instead of just 2 additional upgrade levels across the board. Will any of these issues ever be addressed? We wouldnt hold your breath. The game was last updated 6 years ago as of writing this review. We dont imagine the developers would just randomly feel the need to update an old app of theirs that theyve long since abandoned.
How do you earn coins in this game? It is a little fun. However, if you actually want to play you must buy their coins. As with all games like this they make it too difficult to play if you do not buy.
It was fun but the POW it freezes 16 times in a level THIS IPAD IS NEW FOR CHRIST SAKE also COIN ARE MOENY THIS IS THE BAD GAME ID RECAMEND NOT BUYING IT also it is addictive to many people, if it didnt have all these glitches it would be very addicting we would probaly play it for a long time one time we had a full level without the lag problem and we played it trying to win 6 hours it bad but the lag is the worst thing tho we deleted the app RIGHT away after this here is all our topics [addicting] [laggy]
This was our favorite time wasting game for a long time. We downloaded it again after getting a new phone and after a couple years, and it seems like the game has been abandoned. It barely runs, constantly freezing and very much needs an update. Used to be a good game but that doesnt matter anymore since its completely unplayable in this state.
Spent $30 on upgrades and got ripped off.
It is a stupid game and impossible.
It takes your money but nothing ever shows up-upgrade points, etc. Apple only refunded 1/2.
After updating the app freezes in the middle of each level. Never finished a level without having to close out of it to home screen. Save your time and find a completed TD game that wont freeze every 2 minutes.
It a shame that you work hard to get at maximum and the maximum will not take down the aircraft. Can’t finish the level even at maximum.

This is probably one of the best tower games we’ve played. But, the game keeps pausing and crashing. We’ve had to reload into it like 50 times. Please fix. Other than that, it is a 5 star game.
This game is seriously a phenomenal cartoon version of our classic favorite tower defensive with incentive though early as we are we find the reward system for upgrades a bit perplexing but as we are only on the first level and we are already hooked line and sinker. If you enjoy tower defense strategy games: You Will Enjoy this Game.

Very good game way better then field runners yet parents they must of mistaked on 17+ because no language of any kind small mild cartoony violence and NO BLOOD OR GORE so just get it for your kid so what if it’s 17+ who cares.
Great game. Love the options. One bug though. We can’t get select the 4th battle in Battle of Midway. We’ll The selection is under the "Next" arrow. So instead of selecting that battle, it keeps selecting the arrow. Very annoying bug. Please fix it so we can complete the game. Thank you .
