This is an wonderful game with a great journey and support by soft music.Yet,we were expected something would happen if we leave the second boat with out turning back. Anyways, this is a beautiful game that anyone should try.
This explain us to enjoy last time. Life short to realize that. There are so many problems we faced to it. This game are telling us life too short. We end up tears when the game said death. Farewell.
All that Li yang has done, is simply point out the sad yet true reality of a humans life. Magnificent.
We came across this game while looking for some free adventure games and Im very glad we decided to download it. This game is more of a story than a game, you really dont have to do much of anything. But it is a wonderful story of life told without any words and we find it relaxing. The visuals are very calming and the music fits really well. This is definitely an experience more than a game. Introverts and visual artists will especially love this. There are parts that are louder than others (like in the teenage stage), but generally the audio is soothing and calm. Also: If you like this game, we recommend the game Lost Tracks. Its a bit more interactive but its about a journey within oneself and facing anxiety. Lost Tracks has very similar visuals but they are colored, and a bit more detailed. Overall we really enjoyed this game, and we think you will too. And if you do enjoy Long Journey, then we recommend checking out Lost Tracks as well. We wish there were more games like this.
We personally love this game. The graphics are beautiful. The short story is just beautiful.
A mistranslation in korean version. The name of chapter 'graduation' should be translated to '' rather than ''. '' means finishing school. '' means marking.
Ok, and we know someones mad at us for this, but this game is boring. We were done in like 20 minutes and we dont know if this is supposed to be sad or something but its not, it took the smallest amount of time, and we were still left waiting for something at least a bit sad. Also we dont think the music is all its cracked up to be. But we do like the boat idea, so Ill say it has potential.
This is not a game at all. Its a presentation of someones art. Mildly interesting but super boring and a waste of time.

We never EVER write reviews for games, but this game deserves a Gold medal! Its so beautiful and symbolic! The music and graphics go so great together! We seriously cried because of how beautiful this game is (Im 13 ) This game is definitely worth the time to play it.
Was easy going, quiet, nice, but when we tried to download it and re-install it, it only gives us a little box in the upper left corner of our iPad. Needless to say, we are somewhat disappointed. We tried to erase it and d/l it 3 different times to no avail. Sad sad us.
When we play this game we cry a lot because it tells a story others who gave 1star does not understand what the game tells.

This is a gorgeous artwork. It let you recollect the precious gifts along the path you are coming from and prepare you for the road ahead. It's like a meditation of your life. Take a deep breath and set aside your busy daily routine and start this long journey. You will discover more than you would imagine.
It's enjoyable and kinda sad. It makes our iPad Pro really really hot when we play this game, so we downloaded on our Apple TV, it works great there.
A beautiful, relatable, & emotional experience that evokes all the senses. This app feels like a marriage between a movie, picture book, and game. We recommend opening the app for the first time at night, in a quiet place, with headphones on. The audio experience is just as important as the visuals! From there just go with the flow. Being the introverted & introspective type of person we are, this is very easy to appreciate and love.
Set sails and let the journey begin! This game is stunningly beautiful and relaxing. The music is amazing and the graphics are unique and refreshing; along with its simple gameplay this story allows you to interprete life and your journey through it using clever metaphors that will keep you thinking on this blissful quest through out life's ocean. Replay value is guaranteed for this one.
It's not just a game. It's actually more like a movie. Made us sit, think and cry for a long time after we finished our whole life. This app is so different, highly recommend.
We would call this the most inspiring game we've ever experienced. After our husband and we played the game we realized life is such a long journey full of love and joy. We would definitely recommend every couple or family to play it together.
Hate to spoil anything.. One suggestion: the meditative feature really requires to play in late night/quiet livingroom/alone. Love the minimalist graphics and music. Worth it.
Very short period of entire game. After 5 minutes of display, at the stage Age 18, our iPhone got very hot. Never been such high temperature before even on 3D games. And the battery dropped from 20% to 6% Within 5 minutes, which is ridiculous on our iPhone6s Plus.
It comes across as a game. But really it's a $3 artistic story. Some will love it, many won't.
This is interesting primarily when viewed as an art piece (not a game), but not sure why it was $3. We are surprised this was promoted in the "featured" section of the App Store. Also, the sound did not work the first time we started playing.
The game as a good thought to it. But we played it in 10 minutes, for $0.99.
After reading the initial reviews we were immediately interested in trying this app. Although it did lull us into some level of deep thought and reflection the quality of the app itself was not worth the purchase. As we mentioned in the title the music was very nice and did add to some of the experience. We're just glad we didn't spend the $3 many others did.
It's all in the title. It's an interesting experience, to be sure, but it's not worth $3. It says minimal interactivity, which is overstating the amount of interactivity. It'd be better suited to YouTube.
This is a gorgeous app with depth to it. However well done it is, we were finished with it within 15-20 min. At least with other apps, they last and take time to complete, even the really goods ones which are free. We feel this app is way overpriced for what you receive. It should have been .99, then it would have been 5 stars. Otherwise, it is beautifully and thoughtfully done.

We got like 30 minutes of gameplay. The game is very slow paced. We would not recommend.
Beautiful artwork and sound, but this IS NOT a game. We, too, think that the astounding reviews might be artificial. We were just looking for new games to kill time at the airport or in transit, so we bought this based on the reviews. You hold your finger to the right and that's it. We didn't have this emotional connection to the game that others claim, and certainly not the $$'s worth of reflection.
We could've just watched a walk through, this game is just a visual auditory gimmick. There is nothing deep and meaningful it just poses a vague idea of life. We should not have even spent our time doing this.
Big wow, you move left & right for about 5 minutes with some cheap graphics on the screen and the words BIRTH, CHILDHOOD, TEENAGER, PARENT, etc. Flash on the screen. We bought this garbage because we were in a contemplative mood at the time and thought instead of buying a bag of cheap bleached flour for our bare cupboard, we'd get this instead. Big mistake! Now both our mind AND our body are without nourishment. This "app" stinks. Pass it by, nothing to see here, folks.
We bought this app for our seven year old son who thought it looked interesting. It would not run on his iPad3. Then decided to load it on our iPad Air and was able to move a boat across the water. Very unimpressed.
You put your finger on one side of the screen and hold it there for 10-15 minutes then the game is over? Ridiculous, surely someone faked the good reviews. Crummy black and white graphics. Don't waste your time or money.
Now we can add another chapter to our life… The Time we wasted trying to figure out what this app was.

Right after start app crashes and show only black screen. If developers can't pay to testers for find so critical bugs then why we should pay 3$ to them. Don't buy this app.

We read about how sweet, peaceful and emotional this was so we bought it. Totally not worth paying for.
Unless we're supposed to be staring at a blank black screen for forever, something is wrong. Waste of $3.
Reading the reviews seems that is an awesome app, but this seems a joke, a good way to throw away money.
